Hello all Storm here with a new story! Yep, been a while since I posted a new story and this one is definitely unique. I won't spoil anything and I hope you all enjoy it. So, without further ado.
I own nothing
Within the Greek Pantheon, there existed many stories and myths, such as legendary heroes like Perseus, Theseus, Jason, and the mighty Hercules. There also existed the stories of the gods and goddesses who championed or helped birth these heroes. And then there are the Titans, who came before the Gods.
But what of the time before Heroes, before Gods, before Titans?
Before this, was the Age of the Primordial Gods, the first race of Immortals, living aspects of the universe itself, and commanded absolute power over their aspects. Their existed Gaea, the Earth, Ouranos, the Sky, Pontos, the Seas, Tartarus, the Infernal Pit, and Erebus, the Darkness. They were the first of the Protogenoi to come into existence, with many more soon coming into existence as well, all wielding unrivaled power in their given aspects.
However, even their power paled in comparison to the one who created them. The being who's power transcended Space, Time, and even Reality, who's strength is so great that it is known as a multiversal singularity. Possessing only a single identity and perception, that spanned across the multiverse.
This being was known as Chaos, the Primordial of the Void.
To the Gods, Titans, and even the Protogenoi, Chaos is little more than a shapeless, endless void that lies below even the depths of Tartarus, with anyone who enters the void becoming nothing and dissolves into the void.
But what they didn't know, was that Chaos is more than just a shapeless void, he was alive, and he was angry.
For eons, Chaos could do nothing but watch as the arrogance of the Gods, Titans, and Protogenoi grew, reveling in their power. Power that rightfully belonged to him!
Chaos could do nothing, but rage at his inability to put these lowly creatures in their rightful place, to show them all what true power looks like. But Chaos could do nothing. Forced to remain trapped in his eternal slumber, unable to do anything, but watch and wait for the time he may awaken.
But then Chaos felt it, a pull at his conscious, the feel of his power, his true power, undiluted and unchanged, running through the veins of another. This pleased Chaos at this unexpected event, it shall give him the means to once again rise and show these lowly beings that dared call themselves gods, that they are nothing.
And they shall know his name, the true name of fear itself, they shall all cower before his might.
The might of Unicron.
*Long Island*
Walking through the forests of Long Island was a fifteen-year-old girl. The girl had long dark red hair, that slowly transitioned from red to purple/black at the tips, deathly pale skin, three jagged whisker marks on both her cheeks, and dark purple eyes that contained a hidden darkness within them, along with a great amount of anger.
Her attire consisted of a black pointed boots with heels, black leather pants that hugged her hips and ass nicely, a black tank top, and a black coat with dark purple edges.
While strapped to the small of her back was an odd black and purple mechanical device, that looked similar to a Katar, minus the blade, and an opening at the top. Around her neck was a black leather necklace, with a small purple crystal hanging from it.
This was Naruko Uzumaki.
Naruko didn't have the easiest life, growing up. For the first six years of her life, she was raised by her mother, who gave Naruko the necklace that she never takes off. She never knew her father, and honestly, Naruko didn't care to know him, either.
Unfortunately, her life came crashing down when the police showed up at her home one day and said her mother had gotten into a car accident and died on the way to the hospital. The only comfort Naruko had was that the person responsible also died.
After that she had been placed into foster care and Naruko hated it, she hated the social workers, she hated the foster families, she hated all of it. Over the years, Naruko lost track of how many fights she got in at school, or how many times she ran away, only to be dragged back.
It wasn't until she turned eleven that Naruko had finally managed to successfully run away, and she had never felt freer. She got by either by stealing or hunting, after plenty of trial and error, along with either camping outside or sleeping in abandoned buildings.
Though Naruko also had a plan after her escape, she wanted to find her father. Not out of some desire to know him, but because she wanted to get answers as to why he left her mother, why he never cared to show up. Eventually, after nearly six months, Naruko managed to find him and meet him, only to wish she had never bothered searching to begin with.
'May the bastard rot in whatever hell he ended up in.' Naruko thought.
Two months later, Naruko had a rather strange encounter with a glowing purple liquid, which she first thought was radioactive waste, or something. It had been when she was bathing in a lake, when suddenly, a glowing purple liquid started appearing in the water, with Naruko immediately jumping out, and wiping it off her body.
Thankfully, after a few days, Naruko was relieved when she didn't die or grow extra toes and fingers, or anything else. But that's not to say she didn't change from whatever that purple stuff was, with Naruko finding out that she now had powers, like out of a comic book or movie.
Naruko's initial powers started out with was enhanced strength, being strong enough to knock down a tree with a gentle tap, being able to control purple lightning, and interfacing with technology. As time passed, she started developing more powers, like being able to mentally torture a person, just by glaring at them, and being able to transform objects, to make them better.
The last power she used on her weapon, which had originally been an ordinary Katar she had stolen, wanting a weapon to defend herself with. But after channeling her power into it, it transformed into its current state, which she called a Bayard, and could also take the form of various weapons, with just a thought, such as swords, maces, cannons, guns, and Naruko's favorite form, a scythe.
Naruko also learned she could sense that purple stuff that gave her these powers, and while she knew it was probably dangerous, she always bathed in it, and even started drinking it, as well. Naruko knew there was a chance that exposing herself to this stuff could eventually prove fatal. But it was also highly addictive and made her stronger, faster, more powerful…but it also made her more aggressive Naruko noticed.
Over time, Naruko's powers grew stronger and stronger, until she developed another new power, one she highly enjoyed using. Given the power helped her get around more quickly, along with getting her allies.
But it wasn't only her powers that grew, whenever Naruko slept, she would dream. She would dream of standing in a massive metal chamber, with a large glowing purple orb in the center, and if she looked close enough in the orb, Naruko could swear she could see something within, something calling out to her. Though before she could get a clear look at whatever it was, she'd always wake up.
Suddenly, Naruko was pulled from her thoughts when she heard something growling. Tensing, Naruko looked to where the growl came from, only to gulp when she a black dog the size of a garbage truck, with burning red eyes, and teeth sharp enough to rip apart metal.
"Uh…nice doggy, nice doggy." Naruko said, slowly reaching for her Bayard.
Unfortunately, before Naruko could grab, she felt herself picked up off the ground, before being thrown through the forest.
"SHIT!" Naruko cursed, before groaning in pain as she smashed into the ground, feeling several bones either break or crack on impact.
"Tasty meat! No move! You die!"
Looking, Naruko's eyes widened in shock, when she saw the thing that had thrown her was a cyclops!
'Okay, I've officially lost my mind.' Naruko thought, while pulling herself to her feet, grunting as she held her side.
"Kill these worthless creatures, now girl."
Surprised at the sudden voice, Naruko looked around for where it came from. But this proved to be a mistake, as the cyclops swung it's club at her, sending Naruko flying and crashing through several trees. Once she landed on the ground, Naruko coughed up a mix of red and glowing purple blood.
'Fuck…' Naruko thought, grabbing her dazed head and her Bayard.
Trying to stand up proved to be a mistake, as Naruko collapsed to her knees, looking to see the cyclops and dog approaching her.
"Pathetic. Are you just going to sit there and die, girl?!"
'N-no…I'm not dying…here.' Naruko thought
"Then get up and kill these abominations! Show them the power I gave you!"
Glaring at the monsters with glowing purple eyes, Naruko held up her Bayard as it transformed into a massive cannon.
"Die!" Naruko hissed, before the cannon unleashed a massive blast of purple energy that engulfed the cyclops, the dog, along with anything else currently in the cannon's path.
Finally, Naruko ran out of energy and the cannon transformed back into the Bayard, revealing nothing a but a path of destruction from the blast.
Seeing the monsters were destroyed, Naruko allowed herself to fall backwards as her eyes rolled into the back of her head. Though just before darkness took her, Naruko heard the voice again.
"Yes, you will do nicely, as my newest Herald."
*Olympus*
Meanwhile, high above the Empire State Building on Olympus, the twelve Olympian gods were currently arguing over the sudden surge of power they suddenly felt coming from Long Island. A power that didn't feel like anything a demigod should have, that is if it even was a demigod, who unleashed that power.
"SILENCE!" Zeus shouted, stopping the shouting and arguing, as all the gods sat down in their thrones
Looking around to make sure they were all listening, Zeus spoke.
"I'm sure you all felt the power, a few minutes ago." Zeus asked, getting nods from them all.
They had all felt the sudden power, it wasn't like anything they have felt, or sensed, before. But they could all agree on one thing, it radiated pure destruction.
"This is…unexpected." Muttered Zeus, after a moment, while Poseidon scoffed at his words.
"Unexpected? Brother, that power was unlike we've felt before and it was close, not only to Olympus, but Camp Half-Blood as well." Poseidon said, knowing no god or goddess had a power like the one they just felt.
"Perhaps it's a new type of monster or…something from another Pantheon." Athena suggested, given those seemed like the most likely, either it was a new monster or something from another Pantheon.
This made Zeus grunt at the thought of a god from another Pantheon intruding on his territory. If it was a god from another Pantheon, or something sent from another Pantheon, then Zeus knew it was part of a plan to overthrow him.
"Artemis, you and your Hunters are to locate the source of this strange power. If it's monster then kill it, if it's a mortal, then bring them to Camp Half-Blood." Zeus ordered.
If it was a mortal, then he wanted to make sure they were at Camp Half-Blood, where he can keep an eye on them and whatever plots they'll make against him.
*Long Island*
*Mindscape*
"Awaken girl."
Groaning, Naruko sat up, rubbing her head to ease the pounding. Opening her eyes, Naruko saw she was once again in the metal chamber from her dreams with the purple orb, only this time, she could finally see what was inside it.
It was a head, a giant metal head with horns, and what looked like a metal mustache and beard, and glowing purple eyes that glared down at her.
"Wh-what?" Naruko said, confused and a little intimidated at the head.
"A weak body made of flesh and bone. But in time, you will grow stronger and transform into something much greater." Said the head, with Naruko's eyes widening in shock, recognizing the voice as the one she heard earlier.
"Who…what are you?" Naruko asked, standing up, as the head smiled maliciously.
Then to Naruko's further shock, the chamber began shifting and changing around her, all while the voice spoke again.
"I possess many names! I am The Destroyer, I am the Dark Lord, I am Lord of the Undead, I am…"
Naruko was now terrified, as where once she stood in a metal chamber, now she was floating in the middle of space, in front of a truly titanic sized metal robot.
It was mainly colored a dark gold, while being black and purple in some parts, mountain sized curved horns on its head, and even larger skeletal like wings on its back.
Just from its size alone, Naruko would believe she was in the presence of a god.
'No, not a god, the Devil.' Naruko thought, shivering at the pure evil and destruction coming off this being.
Her fear only grew, as the being spoke again.
"…UNICRON, THE CHAOS BRINGER!" Unicron declared, before looking down at Naruko.
"And you girl, have been given the honor to become my newest Herald." Said Unicron.
"Wh-what?!" Naruko asked, not knowing what was going on.
"Be silent and listen girl! You have my blood flowing through your veins, my Dark Energon, that you have been consuming to give yourself a fraction of my power. This has created a connection between us, a connection I shall use to name you my Herald, until the time comes for my resurrection and to show these worthless creatures that dare call them gods, what true power is!" Unicron spat, refusing to consider those insects to be on the same level as himself, and his brother.
As much as he despised Primus, Unicron knew they far exceeded anyone so-called gods on this world, in power. They were true deities, while the insects that inhabit Earth weren't even worthy to stand in their shadows.
"…What?!" Shouted Naruko, trying to wrap her head around the fact that gods were real.
"Another time girl. For now you shall return to your mortal body. One of those creatures is coming to you now, and you better erase its existence." Unicron said.
Before Naruko could respond to that, she vanished.
*Real World*
Naruko's eyes snapped open as she gasped for air. Looking around, she saw she was back in the destroyed forest. Remembering what Unicron said, she quickly grabbed her Bayard and got up.
"Fucking robot, could've at least told me where the-FUCK!" Naruko cursed, as she ducked down in time to dodge an arrow shot at her.
Looking, Naruko saw a group of young girls, all wearing matching uniforms of white shirts, silver jackets, silver camo pants, and black boots. All while carrying bows and arrows.
'Okay, these are either the Hunters of Artemis, or Girl Scouts that don't take no for an answer, when they offer you cookies.' Naruko thought
"What are you waiting for?! Kill them now!" Unicron commanded.
Before Naruko could respond, another girl stepped forward, looking a few years younger than Naruko herself, around thirteen or twelve.
She had long silver/white hair, held up by an icy blue headband with white swirling designs, while a few strands that framed her face, moonlight pale skin, eyes that were a mix of pale blue, silver, and periwinkle, with narrow pupils.
Her attire consisted of pale blue fur boots, bandages wrapped around her lower right leg and her left thigh, a dangerously short white kimono with cloud-like designs along the edges, and held closed by a pale blue obi, a beaded necklace with a large blue stone on the end, bandages wrapped around her arms, pale blue fur gloves, with one holding a bow that looked to be made of ice, and finally a white fur animal pelt draped across her shoulders.
'Well, at least I know I'm definitely into girls.' Naruko thought, looking at the impossibly beautiful girl.
Of course two thing stopped Naruko from admiring her, the first being this was likely Artemis herself and the second, she shot a fucking arrow at her!
"Good reflexes." Artemis complimented, while pleased that her target wasn't a monster or a male, instead a young girl and perhaps a potential recruit for the Hunt.
Looking at the strange weapon in her hand, Artemis observed the girl more closely not feeling anything resembling the normal aura of a demigod.
"You, you don't have the aura of a demigod and yet I can still feel…something about you. You must be a Clear-Sighted Mortal." Artemis said, as Naruko stood up and held her Bayard, ready to turn it into a weapon.
"What the fuck do you people want?!" Naruko demanded, not in a good mood, both from everything she just learned, and again, they shot an arrow at her.
Another girl, who was tall and graceful with coppery colored skin, wearing the same uniforms as the other girls, with the addition of a silver circlet, giving her the appearance of a Persian princess, stepped forward and glared at Naruko.
"How dare you-"
"Peace Zoe." Artemis said, raising a hand to her Lieutenant.
"She doesn't know and is merely confused. But that's beside the point. What are you girl?" Said Artemis narrowing her eyes at Naruko.
While she'd like to recruit her into the Hunt, she still had a mission to do. And there's the chance she could prove to be a threat.
"HA! What am I?! After everything I just saw in less than an hour, I don't fucking know!" Naruko said, wishing this was all just a bad dream, and she'd wake up.
"Hmm, either way I'll be taking you to Camp Half-Blood to be watched. Someone like you, with the power I sense, can't be left on their own." Artemis said, with Naruko officially having enough.
"Yeah how about no. And by no, I mean hell no and get blown up!" Said Naruko, turning her Bayard into a grenade launcher firing off a few grenades at the Hunters, before immediately running.
"What are you doing?! Go back and end their lives!" Unicron said, angered that she was running.
'Are you crazy?! In case you forgot I'm human and still killable, they are immortal, and one is a goddess!' "Woah!" Naruko thought, before shouting as she ducked under an arrow aimed at her head.
Looking back, Naruko was surprised to see the girls right behind her, which was surprising given she's able to outrun a train.
"Stop now!" Shouted the older girl, Zoe, as she fired another arrow at Naruko.
Acting on instinct, Naruko swung her Bayard, as a purple energy sword came out of it deflecting the arrow, much to her surprise.
"Woah, that's new." Naruko said surprised at her own reflexes, unfortunately it cost her, as an arrow was then shot into her shoulder.
"Fuck!" Naruko cursed, as she turned to run again, only to stumble and fall to the ground.
"What the hell…"
"The arrow is laced with a sleeping liquid, you fool." Unicron said, annoyed that his newest Herald was already failing.
Still Unicron reigned his temper, since Naruko did have a point. Despite possessing a portion of his powers, Naruko was currently still human, and didn't have any proper training in using them, given how she was self-taught.
Besides, this gave them a great opportunity, since Camp Half-Blood was the base that the deities of the Greek Pantheon had set up, to train new Demigods that made it to the Camp. A perfect place for Naruko to learn about her enemies, and potentially find new recruits to be made into Heralds, as well.
"Oh, that fucking bitch…" Muttered Naruko.
The last thing she saw, was Artemis trying to grab her, and then the sensation of falling.
So, what did you think, good. Yep we got another Naruko story with her being in the Riordanverse, only Naruko isn't a demigod and is completely human (for now anyways). Not only that but we have a focus on one of the more obscure deities, Chaos! Or as he's truly known as Unicron, yep I made Unicron into Chaos, with Naruko having become his newest Herald after coming into contact with Dark Energon. This however also brought the gods attention to her, with Artemis having been sent to force Naruko to Camp Half-Blood. With it ending in Naruko being captured much to Unicron's anger, but it's cooled by the fact this presents them an opportunity to learn more about their enemies and possibly gain some allies as well. So, review if you liked go away if you didn't.
