Day 5- Ezra and a Lothcat in a Puddle

Rain wasn't the most common weather on Lothal. It did rain every now and then, but not enough for people to always be prepared. It was a quite a bother to the marketplace.

But Ezra didn't mind the rain. His family friends said he was a little too fond of it really. But he enjoyed watching it fall, and he could sometimes be found just sitting in it, letting it pour over him.

The Loth cats, on the other hand, detested the rain. As soon as one drop hit them, they ran for cover.

As a result, when it rained, Ezra would often find a handful of cats hiding underneath the hangover of his tower. And he sat with them as they all enjoyed the company. Or, that was what he told himself.

However, as soon as the rain let up, the Loth cats would all disperse, running off in all directions. Ezra would try and chase one or two of them, but catching them was out of the question. He only stood a chance should one of the cats pause.

But even then, Ezra wouldn't pick them up. Merely stand by them, or crouch down to pet them, which they enjoyed. He respected their personal space, and he really didn't feel like losing his face.

Though, given all the time he spent with the Loth cats, it was somewhat of a miracle he hadn't lost his face. Perhaps they respected each other.
