Real World

It was six am when the phone rang at the Tendo dojo
"Hello, Tendo residents. Cologne speaking"
"Good morning Elder, it's Daisuke from Team two. We have both of our ingredients plus the moss of life and we're at the train station about to head back"
"Got it, see you in a bit"
Around noon Akane walked in with her group answered the phone as it rang again,
"Hello, Tendo residents"
"Akane? your back already?"
"Yeah, just got back now with our two ingredients plus the moss of life from Ryugenzawa"
"Good job Imouto*, I'm calling to check-in. Tell Cologne team three has our first ingredient and is searching for the second"
"Will do, Oniichan*"
Around four in the afternoon Cologne answered the phone again
"Great Grandmother, it's Shampoo. We have the first ingredient looking for the second. Is Airen and too too nice girl still safe"
"Yes Child"
It was eight in the evening when the phone rang again to which Akane answered
"Hello, Tendo residents"
"Miss Tendo, it's Konatsu from Team one. No luck yet but we've got some info we're going to check out tomorrow "
"Got it. Here's the update team two is back, team three called just before you did. They got their second ingredient and will be heading back and team four has one ingredient"
Back to dreamworld: In a park
Grade 11 ended and Ranma to the surprise of everyone had advanced to Grade twelve and now that school was out for summer Ranma was enjoying the day in the park when he heard a voice he had hoped was gone for good
"Greetings Ranma my boy"
"Old Fr...Happosai" she growled out
"Ah ah ah, I wouldn't do that"
"You got thirty seconds to explain why"
"I know I haven't been around recently but, I know that you have been teaching, even though you shouldn't be. However, given who your students are I will make an exception and make you a probationary master."
"Re..really?" Ranma asked shocked that he was being decent and briefly forgetting what he was doing
"Yup and I know you don't want to learn from me so we'll make a beat," he said after dropping to the ground
"What kind of bet?"
"There's a martial arts tournament coming up so you and your students MUST place within the top 10. If they can do that, I will make you a full master of anything goes and give you the scrolls to teach yourself, but if you don't I will revoke your probationary license and you and your students will learn from me until the next tournament. Do we have a deal?
"If the girls want to participate then we have a deal"
"Alright, boyo but you have to let me know tonight" Ranma nodded before they went their separate ways. Happosai probably to steal bras and panties while Ranma went back to the dojo and took Kasumi and Akane aside, telling them what Happosai proposed. Akane was excited however Kasumi was unsure and asked
"Do you think I should enter, Ranma?"
(A brief flashback)
Ranma in the dojo when Kasumi entered, they greeted each other as Ranma finished up his kata
"Is it time for our tutor session?"
"No, I came here to ask..." she paused and unsure of herself but continued "Ranma will you train me?"
"What? Why?"
"Kodachi's attack, I realized I need to be able to defend myself at least until you, Akane or someone could get there"
"I...I really don't want to" he held up his hand " but you have a good point. However, I won't be hitting you until you spar with Akane.
(End flashback)
"I don't know how far you would get given you just started training again recently, but I think you could do good in it so I say go for it however only do so if you feel that you are ready not because I said go for it". Kasumi thought about it for a few minutes then said she would enter, only to hear her father say
"No, you won't. You are not going, this is for them alone and hopefully"
"OH GIVE IT UP" Ranma shouted cutting him off "we already settled this me and Akane marrying will never happen and if you want a further reason then the one I already gave is because we have come to see each other as rivals and siblings"
"Boy you w" Ranma tossed cold water onto him, turning him into a panda
"Kasumi and Akane are my students and I say they are competing"
"You can't have students your not allowed" the father's chorused
"Oh you didn't know, that after my accident Happosai made me a probationary master, which means I can teach," Ranma said with a smirk
The Tournament
It was the morning of the tournament and as Ranma and the Tendo sisters went to leave Happosai splashed Ranma with water, causing two partly clothed Ranmas to ask
"Hey, what the heck was that for?" two voices asked everyone was shocked at the two Ranmas
"Simple you're entered in both the men's and woman's tournaments"
"Fine -sigh-," the Ranma's looked at each other "so which of us will be the girl?"
"Rock, Paper, Scissors, Lizard, Spock?"** they agreed played
"Lizard poisons Spock"
Ranma-1 rolled his eyes and muttered "fine" then went and doused himself, then he and three girls left for the tournament. They got to the arena and found each tournament would have sixteen spots so they would have to compete for a spot and all four of them made it through
For the women's tournament, Kasumi made it to eighth place having beaten her first opponent but losing to her second, while Akane and Ranko faced each other in their second round
"Don't you dare do what you did in the dojo the first time we met"
"Don't worry student"
"BEGIN"
Ranko stood in her no-stance stance while Akane used a more normal one, then they began to circle each waiting for the other to move. After two minutes Ranko held her hand out palm up the wiggled her fingers towards her then back to Akane and said
"Just bring it"
"WHY YOU" she growled out causing Ranko to yell back "CONTROL"
Akane calmed herself, then ran forward to which Ranko sidestepped, she hooked her arm tossing her causing her to land on her butt. Akane kipped up and tried again but this time she stopped just before reaching Ranko they then started exchanging punches and kicks occasionally landing hits. They caught each other in leg, ribs and chest before Akane flip over her head landing behind her
As she landed Ranko went into a roundhouse kick but Akane caught her leg then maneuvered so Ranko's leg was sitting on her shoulder she grabbed her then suplexed her causing her to land on her back, Ranko then kipped up only to get a hard chop across the chest before they started exchanging punches, kicks and tosses
The match ended when Akane managed to knock Ranko out of the ring with ten seconds left, Ranko climbed back into the ring "Lucky hit" Akane was about to yell at her when she added "you did good" Akane got a huge smile on her face and thanked her. Akane advanced to the semifinals but was KO'd within a minute meaning
Kasumi placed in eighth place, Ranko placed in third place and Akane placed in second place
(During the woman's)
Over on the other side of the building was the men's tournament Ranma was enjoying himself as he was pushed to his limits given he wasn't using his chi attacks, this got him to the semifinals (3rd round) where he and his opponent were eliminated by ring-out which put Ranma in third place. So while the four of them may have lost this tournament Ranma was now acknowledged as a master of the anything-goes school
Ai-Kon***
A few months after the tournament Ranma was asked by the sisters to help them with a contest, he refused at first however he decided to try and get something out of it so he said
"If you really want me to do this and you want me to do that as well" they nodded "then it will cost you"
"What's that?"
"I want it in writing that my debt is wiped clean and you can NEVER charge me again" Nabiki agreed "and I want in writing that Akane will NEVER again call me pervert and will treat me like the gender I am at that moment from here on out or otherwise FORGET IT"
A few weeks later Nabiki shouted upstairs "Come on Saotome we don't want to be late" Ranma came downstairs dressed as Sailor Jupiter and entered the living room to join the other girls who were also dressed as Sailor Senshi with
Kasumi as Pluto, Nabiki as Mercury, Akane as Mars, Shampoo as Venus, Ukyo as Michru, Sayuri as Usagi, and Yuka as Haruka
"BOY, WHAT ARE YOU DOING ?"
"This isn't very manly son"
"Helping out my fiancée, her sisters and our friends isn't manly. I would think it's very manly given I can be a girl, if I didn't I wouldn't have made the deal with them"
Ranma then told his mother the deal they made before everyone took a photo as they did the Sailor Senshi team pose they got their raincoats (Ranma borrowing the Tendo mother's) and Ranma placing a few bags Nabiki handed to her in her subspace pocket, before leaving for the convention. A bus ride later the girls had Ranma put their coats into her subspace pocket and they agreed to meet at the cosplay contest in two hours before splitting up into pairs
Kasumi and Ranma, Nabiki and Shampoo, Akane and Sayuri, Ukyo and Yuka
As they walked around they enjoyed some of the activities, the vendor shop, watching some anime and would pose when people would ask to take their picture then after two hours they met up backstage of the cosplay contest, as they were waiting Ranma started mumbling to herself "I can't believe I'm doing this" then it was their turn
" I am the pretty guardian who fights for love and intelligence. I am Sailor Mercury"
" Protected by Mars I am the pretty guardian who fights for fire and passion. I am Sailor Mars."
" Protected by Jupiter I am the pretty guardian who fights for love and courage. I am Sailor Jupiter."
" I am the Sailor suited guardian of Love and Beauty, Sailor Venus and in the name of Love, I will punish you!"
"And I am the sailor-suited champion of love and justice, Sailor Moon. Together we are the Sailor Senshi and In the name of the moon, we will triumph over evil... and that means you"
"We have arrived from the outer reaches of the solar system, Invited by new times" three voices called out together then each continued separately
"I am the guardian of the heavens the magnificent Sailor Uranus"
"I am the guardian of the deep sea, Sailor Neptune"
"I am the guardian of time. Sailor Pluto and we'll protect the earth from evil"
As soon as they finished their speeches and did their poses they started dancing and singing to "Moonlight Densetsu" (a.k.a Sailor Moon theme) while doing gymnastics and dancing before they leaving the stage. After everyone completed the winners were announced and Ranma was surprised as they announced
"And the first place winner is...The Nermia Sailor Senshi"
The Engagement
On the morning of Kasumi's Twenty-first birthday a package arrived address to Kasumi in it was a beautiful necklace, gift certificates for a fancy restaurant and an apology from Nabiki for not being there to celebrate, Akane told him she had trouble getting present but should have it later, however, Soun once again forgot
That night Ranma arrived at the Tendo's and he was wearing the same suit from a year ago (actually it was his only suit) which was fine because Kasumi was wearing the same dress as well plus her new necklace, they then headed out for dinner leaving Akane to cook for Soun and herself as punishment for forgetting again
Ranma decided to take Kasumi to the same restaurant for her birthday but this time it was a little more romantic and instead of going to a movie afterwards they went to an outdoor concert in the park where during the intermission
Ranma turned to Kasumi and asked, "How do you feel about my curse form now?"
"I...I don't mind it anymore as I have come to realize that you are the same person no matter what's on the outside"
"So if I did this" Ranma pulled out a thermos and use some cold water then reached up and kissed her 'please don't hate me' she thought to herself before saying "You would be ok" Kasumi just nodded then kissed her then said, "why?"
"I don't care about Shampoo, Uuchan, Akane or any of the other engagements the panda made, because" he got on one knee and said, "I don't love any of them...at least the way Akane, Ukyo and Shampoo want me too." He heated the water and turned back "and before you ask it's because I Ranma Saotome have come to love you over this last year and I can't picture my life without you in it. So..." he pulled out a box and opened it to reveal a ring
"Will you Kasumi Tendo marry me?" her mouth dropped
"Ranma that's not funny"
"Hold it, what's not funny? I'm being serious Kasumi"
"Why would you want a plain old maid like me when you got all those girls"
"First of all, this isn't the 1580's**** ok. Twenty-one is not too old to marry, second, you are far from plain, you are extremely beautiful any guy would be lucky to be with you and third none of the girls care about me or what I want, and that turns me off" he pulled out a bottle and poured a bit on his head activating the curse "fourth they want nothing to do with me when I look like this and since there's no cure my wife would need to accept this. So I'll ask again, Kasumi could you...can you accept both of me?"
"You are serious about this?" he nodded
"Then YES"
As he slid the ring on to her finger he asked "And just so you know I want a partner, not a dutiful housewife but an equal in everything. So is it still yes?" she just nodded the gave him a huge kiss, then Ranma walked her home
The next morning Ranma told his Mother about the previous night while at the dojo Kasumi had just finished serving breakfast when a now fully caffeinated and awake Nabiki gasped "What's that on your hand?" Kasumi just said "My engagement ring" and continued into the kitchen with the dishes
"WHAT?!" they screamed and ran into the kitchen where she was washing the dishes
"Tofu's back?" Akane asked
"Not that I know of, why?"
"Then who are you engaged to?"
"The answer should be obvious, Imouto," Nabiki said as Soun reacted from the doorway
"WAHHHHHHH my baby girl's fiancé was stolen by her ol *SLAP*"
"That's enough, Akane has had countless chances and each time she has hurt him by stating she doesn't want to marry him she even transferred the engagement to Nabiki for awhile. He then cancelled all of the engagements and could now choose anyone but by his own decision he has proposed to me. I am now the OFFICIAL fiancée of Ranma Saotome. In other words Father, the schools will soon be united"
Nabiki left leaving her father and sisters alone "However if you truly love him baby sis then I will step aside and help you two get married" Akane shook her head "I do love him but I think it's more sibling love now thanks to all our Father's schemes, the hentai squad, the fiancees, the distrust and the fact that...that..." Akane released a deep breath "that I prefer Ranko over Ranma."
"Does that mean your a"
"No, yes, I don't know I think I need help with that before I can have a relationship."
"I understand, sis"
"I hope you two will be happy"
Back at the Saotome's Ranma had finished breakfast, cleared his spot "Thanks for breakfast Mom, now I better get-go..." WHAM WHAM WHAM
"SAOTOME/AIREN GET OUT HERE"
"Damn it Nabiki"
Ranma opened the door "I am not coming out until you put your weapons down and let me talk" they looked at each other and then did as he asked, he stepped out saying "Let me guess the Ice Queen told you I made my decision" they nodded "she said I picked a Tendo" another nod "did she tell which one" this time it was a shake of their heads "I picked Kasumi"
"WHAT?" they exchanged a look with each other then dropped their weapons and tackled him
"CONGRATULATIONS Brother/Sister" their "Mother" came in and took their picture
Over the next few weeks Ranma's sisters, Mother and fiancée started planning for the wedding even though it was more than a year away as they agreed to wait until after Ranma's graduation although he did suggest doing a western wedding. While they were occupied with that Ranma concentrated on his schoolwork, his job and his training as well as training his students
Grade 12: Akane vs Kuno
Monday morning came, Ranma got up got dressed had breakfast then went to school. He entered the school gates and saw a crowd of boys waiting
"Why are you trying this again?, Do you have a death wish?. I have been training Akane for nearly two years now so unless you want a nice long hospital stay I suggest you get to class, now" boys started heading to the school
"Nay don't listen to the foul sorcerer he doth have no power anymore, you shall date the fierce tigress, Akane Tendo if you beat her," Kuno said
"Who let the nut out?" Kuno sneered "what are you doing here Kuno?"
"Now that the fierce tigress is free from thine grasp, I am here to see you don't work your black magic on her again, for I am the only one who can have her"
"One she is not a piece of property, two I can make some decisions for her as I am her teacher, three you have no say on who Akane can associate with as you are not part of the Tendo clan and four if all of you attack Akane she can have you arrested"
Akane heard Ranma's speech "He's right if you can beat me you won't date me and Ranma can speak for me and Kuno can't"
"I shall challenge you my fierce tigress if you shall beat me I will date with you but if you beat me then I shall date you"
"I think not the stakes will be this, in one week we fight. If you beat me I will give you one date but if you lose you will never-ever- eeeeever bother me or the pigtail goddess again."
"Verily thy well" Kuno went to leave
"Oh and there will be a contract so you can't go back on your word"
"As thou wishes"
One week later the football field of Furinken high was surrounded by people, Akane and Kuno were standing in the middle of everyone with Nabiki, she handed Akane a clipboard when she handed it back, she handed it to Kuno then when he gave it back she walked off and Coach Misumi yelled
"BEGIN"
The match didn't last long as after a few minutes of kicks, punches and Akane dodging Kuno's attacks, Akane switched it up using some new moves and so she ran past Kuno with her arm stretched out which spun him head over heels, Hiroshi yelled "Clothesline from Hell" but he got up turned around right into a kick to the chin knocking him out
"Winner Akane"
"I'm glad Sayuri and Hiroshi introduced us to wrestling" Ranma just nodded
Grade 12: Graduation
As the school year ended Ranma's grades improved dramatically in fact they were good enough to make him eligible for college. How you might ask well because Miss Hinako approached the school board on his behalf explained what his father did and he was allowed to take the previous grades exams
So graduation came Ranma was wearing a new suit under his cap and gown, while Akane had a beautiful dress under her cap and gown she also had hair extensions put on before getting her hair curled
Kasumi and Ranma went to the grad night party and spent the night drinking and dancing they also played a couple of games
The day after the graduation, people started getting invitations that said
You are cordially invited
To the wedding of
Ranma Saotome and Kasumi Tendo
