Chapter 17: D-Lacrima's 2nd power.
At Cocoyashi village.
The newscoos delievered some newspapers and new wanted posters that fell in the village and some citizens picked them up.
"Look at this, news at Water 7, pirates attacked the floating city!"
Erza was walking by. "Looks like islands get newspapers and wanted posters."
"That's right young lady." The scarlet woman turned to see the chief Genzo. "Those birds are called Newscoos, they deliever each newspaper or wanted posters at each island or ship that they see. Looks like we're in luck." He walked up to a newscoos and paid it with some money. "This is money called berries, which is kind of money used in our world."
A village read one of newspapers. "Oh! Look at like this, says here in some kingdom of Alabasta Kingdom a young girl with blue hair along with two girls that summoned out creatures using keys fought against the Navy!"
That detail got Erza to gasp. "Wha-" The villager wasn't done. "Oh, it also says here that there was a cat that was able to transform into a human girl!"
Those descriptions got Erza to realize that some of her friends were seen.
"Oh look at page 2, says here three young siblings took on a pirate and fishman!" That got Erza to gasp with her eyes widened. "These siblings had all the same white hair color, two are girls and big muscular man!"
Erza abrutly grabbed the newspaper. "Can it be..." She looked at page 1 and 2 then her hands began to shake but out of fear or sadness it was relief and happiness. "Uh Erza..." Genzo asked with concern.
"I have to tell the others!" She comically yelled knocking the chief out of the way.
"What's with her?" A villager asked comically.
"Genzo are you ok?" Another asked offering to help the chief.
The chief was a bit dizzy eyed. "Uh, fine I guess so...but does anyone have an ice pack," He fell down unconscious.
Yosaku and Johnny were carrying some fish in large baskets along with Mest. "Man, this flounders are heavy."
"Considering we might have over did it." Yosaku groaned struggling to keep his feet up. "No problem! More we catch the more meals we'll have!"
Mest didn't say a word but looked little irritated, here he fishing when he and his friends need to find their friends.
Just then they saw red scarlet wizard pass them in with quick speed. "What is wrong with big sister Erza?" Yosaku asked.
"Looks like she's in a hurry." Yosaku guessed.
Mest knew something was up from the way she just passed them. "Let's follow her!" Just then a newscoo dropped some wanted posters in front of the three men. "What are these?" Mest wondered as he crouch down to look closer. "Oh these are wanted posters some pirate can get them depending how much trouble they cause the navy." Johnny explained. "Brings me back when big bro Luffy and Zoro got their first bounties."
Mest flipped over the wanted posters and looked at the pictures as he did he looked in horror. "Gasp!" That got the two former bounty hunters to look with concern. "Big brother Mest, is something wrong?" He didn't answer instead the former council member just ran off to the direction where Erza ran off. "What was that about?"Yosaku asked.
"Don't know, let's go follow!" Johnny answered.
At Nojiko's home.
Laxus and his team along with Kagura were helping with the garden. "Man, this is hard work." Freed said sighing picking some oranges and placing them in baskets.
Evergreen waved a green fan at her face. "Yes, but at least we're getting paid a little, not to mention some free meals."
"Ha-ha, work or no work at least we're helping out this lady." Bickslow said sticking out his tongue with a wide open mouth. "We're Fairy Tail, we take jobs, right my babies."
Right! Right! the soul creatures chanted.
Laxus was helping taking some fruit to the village by carrying a basket of them on his back. "Right, we owe these villagers for helping our friends at least we can do is repay a debit." He had another thing to say. "Once we do we'll leave this island and search for our friends."
Nojiko was picking other oranges but was thinking of what happened in the past months. "To think I would meet people from another world, this almost feels like a dream."
The word dream got her to remember what Nami said. "Big sis, I want to draw a map of the world! I will travel through the ocean and draw all kinds of maps!"
Just then she saw Erza coming towards them. "What the?" The scarlet woman stopped abrutly and started catching her breath. "Listen...everyone...its about...our friends...
Her guildmates couldn't understand due to her breathing. "Uh, say what?" Bickslow asked only to get a glare from the armor wizard. "Was I clear enough?"
"She's scary." Evergreen and Freed thought in fear.
That caused everyone to freeze in fear minus Laxus. "Uh, no it's not that, just try to take a deep breathe and tell us on what is wrong." Laxus said calmly.
Erza did and handed over the newspaper to the Thunder region's leader. "Hmm? What is this?" He wondered taking the paper. "Look at page 1 and 2." The scarlet woman answered.
Laxus read the page 1 as he did his eyes widened and when he read 2 he was getting more surprised than ever. "Listen up! Our friends have been sighted!" He turned to see and explained the situation.
"Elfman, Lisanna, and Mirajane are fine!" Evergreen said with cheery tone. "Elfman, I'm glad you're fine."
"That is a relief." Freed said sighing.
"Those trio are tough and they took down some strong pirates!" Bickslow said looking a bit jealous. "Pity I wanted to get some action, right babies."
Right! Right!
"Not mention that Wendy, Lucy, Yukino, and Carla took on the navy." Laxus said looking impressed.
Kagura just arrives hearing the commotion. "I heard our friends have been sighted."
"You bet! They're fine but it seems they're on different islands." Laxus said.
Nojiko looked at the newspaper. "Yes, Alabasta Kingdom is far and Water 7 is even farther away."
"Can you tell about the islands?" Kagura asked.
"Yes I heard Alabasta is kingdom where a princess lives, I believe her name is Vivi." Nojiko explained. "I saw her in the newspaper about a few years ago that Nami and the strawhats defeated a warlord there."
"If that's true, then our friends must've met the princess!" Bickslow stated.
"It also says on page 2 that Wendy and the others escaped from the navy, so they must be on the ocean." Erza mentioned.
That caused Laxus to feel sick. "Question, does this mean we'll have to take a boat for sure?" The scarlet woman sighed. "Yes I'm afraid so."
"So wait there is alot of ocean!" Bickslow asked in surprise.
"If that's the case then that won't be good for Laxus." Freed added.
"Don't worry Nako gave us some sea sick pills that last for a few hours which should give Laxus some time to feel not so stomach sick." Erza said.
Just as Mest arrived with some wanted posters along with Johnny and Yosaku. "Everyone look at these!" He tossed the wanted posters to them and to their shock was bounties that had pictures of Wendy, Lucy, Carla, and Yukino.
After Johnny and Yosaku were filled in the details they were in awe. "WHHAAATT!?" The two exclaimed jaw dropping. "Your other friends took on the navy and pirates!?"
"So loud." Evergreen groaned.
"Sounds like the navy won't ignore them." Bickslow said with a huge wide grin. "I feel like we should show the navy the powr of Thunder Legion, does that sound fun?"
Fun! Fun! The soul creatures chanted.
"Yes, though Carla's bounty is lower." Evergreen said with a frown.
"Either way, we need to get to our friends!" Kagura suggested.
"Yes, but it says on page 2 that they escaped so we can assume they're avoiding the navy." Erza pointed out. "Now the only one that we don't know about is Akame, Leone, Chelsea, Natsu, Juvia, Cana, and Happy."
"I suppose we'll just have to hope they're doing alright and that some information will pop up soon." Mest suggested but another thought occured to him. "Normally I was going to ask her about Akame, Leone, and Chelsea but this isn't the time." Then an idea dawned on him. "Is possible those three girls are from another world too?"
Freed noticed the former council member was spacing out. "Mest, something wrong?" The former council member came back to reality. "Huh? Oh it's nothing."
Just the sky started get a little dark and then strong wind started to blow around the area including the village.
Nako was in his office with some other patients and nurses. "Dr Nako, the windows..." The old doc noticed the wind and causing open windows to blow violently. Just then the wind got stronger causing some medicine boxes to fall on the floor.
"What the heck is going?!" A nurse cried out in shock.
Genzo was walking around covering his face with his arms. "Just where did this crazy storm come from!?"

Just then a strange hole appeared in the sky. "Look up there!" Evergreen pointed up.
"Is that portal door?" Freed asked.
"That must mean-" Evergreen began to say.
"That someone from our world is coming here!" Laxus answered finishing his teammate's sentence.
Three glowing lights appeared from inside the hole and came crashing down towards the village. "Those lights crashed into Cocoyashi village!" Erza exclaimed.
"Come on, let's go see!" Mest gestured the others to follow which they did.d
Johnny and Yosaku were already there but their friends just darted pass them. "What is going on with them?"
"More importantly, where are they going on?"
Once again the two former bounties went to follow their friends.
The lights that crashed into the village left a thick of smoke.
"What was that just crashed?" A villager asked.
"Mommy, was that meteorite or something?" A child asked.
"Don't know." The mother replied keeping her child close.
"Man, that was hard landing." A female voice said from the smoke.
Levy Mcgarden.
"Quite the landing but makes a perfect enterance." A male voice stated as a visible grin was showing from the smoke.
Gajeel Redfox
"Gajeel! Levy! I suggest we look for our friends." Lily suggested.
Pantherlily.
The smoke cleared up as the three wizards noticed a crowd of people. "Uh oh. I think we drawn some attention." Levy said with worry.
Lily realized that too and from the look on the crowds faces they really took them by surprise. "Great, we drawn a lot of attention then we usual do."
Gajeel looked around and saw a young boy walked towards him then bent down a little. "You kid!" The kid jumped in fright. "Yeah you! Did you see any of our friends?"
The child just froze in fear. "Uh...well I..." Levy took a purse and whacked the iron dragon slayer in the face. "Cut that out! You're scaring the kid!" That made the black spiky haired man groan in pain. "Ow! Well excuse me I was just asking a question!"
Lily transformed into his battle form. "Sorry about my friend, let's try this again, do you or mother seen anyone of these people?" He took out a photo and shown pictures of the Fairy Tail and Sabortooth wizards(at least some of them).
The boy was little taken by the large talking cat. "Uh..." He looked at one of the photos and noticed several familiar faces. "Oh! Its them!" He pointed at the photos that had Kagura, Erza, Mest, and Thunder Leigon faces.
"Where are they kid?!" Gajeel demanded.
"AAAAHHH!" The boy screamed comically.
Levy whacked the spiky haired man again with her purse. "Can you show us where they are?" The boy pointed to the outside the village where it lead to smoke coming from the direction. "Let's go!" Gajeel ran off with the his teammates following him. "What up iron head!"
"Wait up!" Lily shouted reverted back to his small form and flying.
"Holly crap that cat is flying!" A male villager cried out with his eyes popping out.
The three former council soldiers were running on the path to Nojiko's house where their friends were already on their way. "Hey guys!"
Levy was happy to see them. "Guys, Its good to see you!"
Gajeel grinned. "I told ya they'd be fine."
Lily smiled a little but then noticed some friends were missing. "Strange, where is Natsu's team and those former assasins, Gray, Juvia or Can isn't here either."
A short time later.
The wizards told each other about the situations including the bounties that their friends have got on their heads. "Hold on you, Kagura, and Mest are wanted by the navy now?!" Gajeel exclaimed.
"Because you revealed a marine captain's dirty secret!" Levy added in shock.
Lily was just as shocked as the others. "Now some others have bounties on their heads too!"
Laxus had his arms crossed. "Correct, from what we were told by Erza, the navy seems to corrupted as well."
"Yes, also two bounty hunters Johnny and Yosaku told us about their friends the Strawhat pirates." Evergreen said handing over a picture of young man wearing a strawhat. "Who is this?"
"Monkey D Luffy, a young man that saved this village along with his crew members." Mest answered. "I admit I found it hard to believe until I looked through their memories."
"Was that wise?" Levy asked with concern.
"Don't worry short stuff, if Mest didn't trust these people he wouldn't have done it." Gajeel commented.
The word "Short stuff" caused the script wizard to twitch with annoyance as she began to hit the iron dragon slayer with her fists like a child. "YOU...BIG...STU-PID...IRON...HEAD...JERK!"
Lily put his hand out sweat dropping. "Ok that's enough now."
"Anyway we haven't heard anything about the others like Natsu and Happy." Erza pointed out. "However from what the newspapers says that Elfman, Mirajane and Lisanna are on a island called Water 7."
"That's right, we can assume they're safe for now." Freed added. "Not mention that Wendy and the girls she's with escaped from the Navy on a ship."
"If they saw the newspaper about the takeover siblings then we can assume that they're on their way to Water 7." Kagura stated.
"How can we get to Water 7 even with a boat it could take us days, weeks, or months depending what awaits us on the Grand line or rather fighting enemies that could stand in our way." Mest wondered.
"Right the chief Genzo told us that the Grand Line is filled with all kinds of dangers not mention sea monsters." Erza added. "However we must reunite with our friends."
"Hold it!" Levy called getting her friends attention. "Do you guys still have the lacrima?"
Laxus took out the magic lacrima. "Yes, why?"
"Nico Rukia and Oliva were doing more research and apparently they discovered at this lacrima can teleport us to an island that we can picture of." Levy explained. "In other words, if we can picture an island that's close by in our heads we can teleport there in a blink of an eye."
"Sounds like a plan!" Mest proclaimed liking the idea.
"However-" That stopped the exstatic moment. "The lacrima starts to wear off in other words this item will be drained of its magic little by little so we must choose which island is closet and then let this lacrima recharge by itself."
"How can that happen when there is no Etherano in the air?" Kagura asked.
"That's the tricky part, we must transfer some of our magic to the lacrima." Levy answered looking a bit worried.
That caused everyone to gasp which Levy knew she would hear that reaction. "However like I said we must use this lacrima wisely and choose what island is the closet."
"How can we picture an island is closet when we haven't been to any island in this world besides Cocoyashi village?" Evergreen asked.
That was good question.
Lily had a suggestion. "I think I have might an idea." His friends turned to face the black exceed. "I know its that the chances of working are slim, but maybe someone in the village might know someone that has been to one of the islands that miles away, any island is better as long as its close by."
That gave Levy an idea. "If that's the case then the islands should be Alabasta Kingdom, Water 7, or any other island that's nearby."
"Sounds like a plan." Erza said with a smile.
"But what happens not any one of the villagers hasn't be to any other island?" Mest asked with concern.
"We'll decide that after we questioned every villager in Cocoyashi." Laxus answered calmly.
"Then let's do it!" Erza stated as her friends raised their hands up.
The wizards met up with the two bounty hunters Johnny and Yosaku. The two were told of their plan and situation upon hearing this was quite ubelieveable but the two former bounty hunters decided to help their new friends.
The wizard spilt into groups of four.
Erza, Kagura, Nojiko, and Mest decided to Genzo's office to ask for help about their plan.
Laxus and his own team Nato and his clinc to tell their plan.
Gajeel, Levy, Lily, along with Johnny and Yosaku went to the village to tell of their plan as well. Each group went to different parts of the village asking everyone for their assistance.
Almost everyone told them they haven't been to any other island that's further in the Grand Line. More villagers they talked to and so far gave them the same answer. So little more villagers were able to help. "Damn, at this rate we might have to across the sea anyway." Mest thought.
Just then a boy walked up to Mest. "Excuse me, sir..." The former council member turned to the boy. "My name is Kouta, I can help you but my memory is little fuzzy so I'll try to help if I can." Mest nodded as he used his magic clicking a memory that showed the forme council member a memory of Alabasta. "I went there awhile ago after the former warlord Crocodile was defeated for a little tour."
Mest smiled. "I thank you Kouta, I'll never forget this." He ran off to tell his friends what he found which got them realived and excited. "So let's go find our friends!"
Short time later.
The wizards got a ship and supplies for their departure. Chief Genzo, Dr Nato, Johnny, Yosaku, and Nojiko along with every villager went on the shore to bid farewell.
"Take care!" Genzo waved.
"Big sis Erza, Mest, Kagura, and everyone, we'll miss ya!" Johnny and Yosaku called out with bawling eyes and waving their hands.
Kagura smiled a little. "Take care you two..." Erza placed her arm behind her friend's shoulder. "Aw, this is unlike you."
Mest smiled a little too. "Quite lively are they,"
Gajeel and his team smiled at this despite they didn't know much about the villagers but could tell they were nice people.
"Wizards of Earthland!" Nojiko called out which the wizards to look back. "If you guys see Nami, tell her big sister loves her!"
The wizards did their stance which got the villagers attention as Erza transformed into her Farewell Fairy Tail Armor. "Listen here to the citizens of Cocoyashi village, I know some of just met but remember this!" She gave off a proud smile. "Even though things might get dire never give up! You must continue to live with all your might and never forget those that you call friends! Never think of your life as something pointless and continue living without regrets!" She started to let out tears. "We wizards of Earthland thank you all for your kindness...Fairy tail, Mermaid Heel, and the magic council shall hear of your kindness and generousity!"
Genzo tilt his hat with smile. "I'll remember those words Erza Scarlet!"
"We'll miss ya!"
"Thank you wizards!"
Levy had some books that she bought about stories ancient times. "I thank you all for the books!"
Kagura smiled as little tears formed. "I'll never forget you guys..."
Laxus chuckled with his eyes closed. "Reminds when we departed in the other world where Night Raid's from."
Freed had to agree. "That's right, I have feeling we'll make more friends."
"Its time now." Gajeel held out the Lacrima as Mest used his memory powers to create a vision of Alabasta Kingdom. "Let's go!"
The portal began to open as the wizards sailed inside the portal to their next destination. But what will be happen next is anyone's guess.
