Day 10- Cody Taking Care of a Tooka

Upon first meeting Commander Cody, most assumed he was tough and stern; not necessarily cold-hearted, but not one for feelings. And he was tough and stern, but he possessed a great deal of compassion, and much more than would be approved by the Kaminoans.

But all the same, Cody couldn't resist taking care of those in need.

To an outsider, picturing a scene of Cody caring for anyone was hard. Asking them to imagine him caring for an animal was even more difficult.

But to his brothers closest to him, it would come as no surprise. Tell them he is taking care of an animal and they'll already be able to see the scene, crystal clear in their minds:

He's walking along and he finds a stray Tooka. Or an abandoned Tooka. It's starved, straggly fur, small, either because it was a baby or simply due to malnutrition. Regardless, Cody picks it up, and carries it home.

He doesn't mind the scratches he receives as he attempts to clean it. He offers no objection or harsh words as it tries to squirm away while he feeds it properly. The man simply smiles, sighs, and tries again.

Once Cody has fed it, he knows it will need rest. So, keeping it close to him to help provide warmth, he pets the cat gently. It purrs quietly as he does and soon enough, it has drifted off to sleep.

It shocks those who don't know him, but for his close brothers, the scene seems as natural as anything.
