Suddenly, Boruto felt a strange feeling

Sarada nodded and together with her boyfriend they went outside, when they reached the city they noticed that the inhabitants were acting weird
-What happened here? Sarada asked
"It looks like the villagers have fallen under someone's control," Boruto said
When people noticed a couple, they immediately pounced on them
-Boruto carefully, take them gently.

Boruto and Sarada overpowered the villagers one by one

Boruto created over a dozen clones which he used to aid

-Kawaki, are you behind all this? Sarada asked

-Isshiki! Boruto said

Boruto stood against I.kawaki activating Jougan and Karma
-Sarada I will take care of him, you try to distract the inhabitants

Sarada didn't say anything anymore, she did what her boyfriend said. Boruto lunged at I. Kawaki, they both started by hitting their hands and wrestling with each other.
-I will defeat you, and free Kawaki

After a moment of wrestling, they both jumped away from each other, I. Kawaki will shoot a powerful energy projectile at Boruto, the blonde in response stuck his hand towards the attack and absorbed it, then using Jougan's ability teleported behind the opponent, putting his hand to his back, and then launched an attack which he absorbed a moment ago creating a huge explosion.
Moments later, I. Kawaki flew out of the smoke, before he could catch his balance, Boruto attacked him from above, grabbing his face and thrusting him into the ground, then began to beat him. At one point, I. Kawaki put his hand to the blonde's belly, releasing a beam of energy, throwing him away from himself.
"I think it's time to finish warming up and start fighting seriously," he said, entering Karma's second level
Kawaki's body was surrounded by a bright aura, his hair was rising up turning white, his pupils turned silver
"I will agree with you here," said Boruto also entering the second level of Karma
