Chapter 24: Escape from Pucci

The entire crowd nearby jaw-dropped at what they just witnessed.

Charloss' guards and servants looked towards the direction where their boss crashed.

"Master...Charloss..."

Natsu and Gray looked in the direction where the wicked noble crashed as the smoke from the crash cleared showing the overweight noble knocked out with a punch bruise on his face and the part of the suit that had a hole from Gray's fist.

Miyaka and Fujika were astonished at the display, the two boys were so bold, brave, and strong, but they opposed the Celestial Dragon, knowing they would have to escape.

"You bastards!" The servant roared. "You dare raise your hands against Charloss, I'll see to it that his family knows of your crimes!"

Natsu charged towards the servant. "Fire Dragon's: Iron Fist!" He delivered a punch at the black-suited man's chest sending him crashing into a mail office window.

Just then a few strange knights came charging at the two boys.

"Damn brats!"

"You'll pay for your crime against Master Charloss!"

"I'm usually not reckless as you Natsu-" Gray began to say as those words offended Natsu but before the Salamander could speak, the ice mage was grinning. "Let's show them the power of Fairy Tail."

Natsu grinned mischievously. "Happy let's show these jerks the power of Fairy Tail!"

Happy sprouted his wings. "Aye, sir!"

"A talking cat!" A little girl exclaimed.

"It flies too!" Her mother added her eyes popping out.

Miyaka was surprised at what she was seeing. "So that's one of the Exceeds that Gray told me about."

Gray did his stance by placing his fist into his other hand's palm. "Ice-Make-" He created a lot of frozen lancers. "Lancers!"

The ice lancers were fired directly at the knights striking them down in one blow. "Come on!" Gray proclaimed. "Bring it on!"

More knights showed up and others were navy officers.

"Vice-Admiral Gray Fullbuster, you are under arrest for treason!" A man proclaimed. "I'm Vice-Admiral Ren Ravenclaw!" He took out a black steel chain that looked like it it was made well and was the shiny metal color.

This Vice-Admiral was a tall lanky man with dark long hair with several hair bangs that hung above his forehead.

Gray and Natsu used their aura sensor and felt the power of the navy Vice-Admiral. "I can sense this guy is on another level than me." Gray thought despite he was a vice-admiral himself.

Natsu just grinned. "A strong opponent looks like we'll have a challenge."

The Vice-Admiral wasn't finished talking though. "Fullbuster, your subordinate shall also pay a price for not keeping you in check!"

"Leave Miyaka out of this!" Gray growled. "She hasn't done anything-"

Just then a bullet was shot directly at another Vice-Admiral but he sensed it right away and moved his head leaving a small scratch on his cheek. "No! Gray is right, the Celestial Dragons are nothing but wicked nobles that only think of themselves and causing pain to their people!"

"That's right you bastards will take us by force!" Natsu roared.

"Aye!" Happy added.

Fujika stood by the fire Dragon slayer's side. "I will too." Natsu noticed her and was surprised, but he was concerned about her since she was a member of Hancock's Kuja Pirate crew.

"You!" Ren shouted recognizing the girl's outfit. "A member of the Kuja Pirates, and working under the commander of Boa Hancock, is this treachery from her!?"

Fujika narrowed her eyes. "No! The Snake Princess has nothing to do with this, I brought Natsu here so that he could get a ride on the train, but I will not let you hurt him or his friends!"

"Thanks, Fujika..." Natsu smiled brightly at the girl which made her heartbeat so fast, feeling a strange awkwardness in her chest too. "What is this?"

"Very well then!" Vice-Admiral Ren gestured his arm towards the enemies. "Men attack!"

The navy officers along with Charloss' knights charged at the group.

"Fire Dragon's Roar!" Natsu unleashed his breath attack burning some knights and navy soldiers in the process.

"Ice-Make: Arrows!" Gray unleashed ice arrows directly at other navy soldiers with high speed using an ice bow.

Fujika using her Observation Haki evaded each of the navy soldiers' pistol shots and took out a small bottle then tossed it. "Bomb Potion..."

The potion caused a mere explosion but blew away some soldiers while the knight lost their armor and was knocked out as well.

"I'm not done!" Fujika stated as she tossed her snake staff which slithered towards the enemies. "Now Snake Tail Slam!"

The snake-like staff slammed its long tail which sent a line of marines flying away.

"That was cool," Natsu shouted in amazement. "The snake staff is awesome!"

Fujika smiled hiding her blush.

"My turn!" Miyaka took her rifle and shot some soldiers down but not in fatal parts. "Tell the navy that I'll be defecting from this day!"

"So am I!" Gray added. "Ice-Make: Floor!"

The ice mage placed his hands on the ground freezing the area which made other navy soldiers and knights slip on the ice sliding into barrels while some crashed into trash cans.

"They're gonna stink!" Happy joked placing his paws over his mouth.

Fujika knew they couldn't stay for long. "Listen up you guys." She spoke getting their attention. "The Admiral could be here soon so we must escape."

She was right.

Kizaru was on his way to Pucci Island to help with the Celestial Dragon Charloss but had some other duties to attend the day before and now he was getting close.

Eventually, he got the information of chaos that was in Gourmet City. "My, my, our recruit opposed the Celestial Dragon." He placed his hand on his head. "This won't do at all but we'll just have to deal with the recruit when we arrive."

Back at Marineford.

Akainu got the information about the chaos from a navy soldier. "What's that?" He growled as he slammed his hands on his desk causing the navy soldier to jump in terror. "That's too bad that boy had such potential but since he opposed the Celestial Dragon's he'll face a severe punishment." He took out his cigar and inhaled. "Tell Admiral Kizaru to either bring in Gray and his partner Miyaka into custody along with his new accomplices."

"That's right, I suppose taking the train won't be an option," Gray questioned.

The purple-haired girl nodded her head. "Right and that would be innocent people in danger so we must steal a ship..."

Gray thought that through now. "I suggest we take my ship Miyaka and I can get it while you guys distract them once we do I'll send a signal for you guys to see and where we're are."

The trio nodded in agreement. "Right!"

"Let's do this Happy!" Natsu roared with excitement.

"Aye!"

Natsu, Happy, and Fujika fought against some navy officers and knights.

Gray and Miyaka made their way back to the ship.

"What about our men?" Miyaka questioned.

"I'm sure they heard of our treachery so we'll probably have to fight them," Gray replied looking ashamed a little. "Though I'm not sure yet however I suppose we'll have to be prepared."

"Right," Miyaka nodded in agreement.

The two eventually made it to their ship.

The ship was deserted though. "It's quiet and no sign of any of our men." Miyaka pointed out.

Gray wasn't liking this but just had to risk it even though being risky isn't his style. "Be cautious."

Bulat's words suddenly echoed into the ice mage's head. "Remember there could be other enemies nearby so keep a sharp eye open."

Gray smiled. "That's what I'll do."

Miyaka couldn't hear what he just said. "Hmm..." Before she could ask him what he just said, he walked casually to the bridge to the ship.

Gray cautiously walked on the deck where there were several barrels as he stopped the lids of the barrels popped off revealing marines with shotguns and pistols aiming at their former Vice-Admiral.

"Shave!" Gray chanted as he was gone in a flash, he was in the air using the duct to climb up then he placed his fist into his other hand's palm then put his hands up high. "Ice-Make: Freezing Blizzard!" He unleashed a strong blizzard on the ship's deck that frozen everyone of the marines before they could make move.

He stood in the center of the frozen marines. "That move is what I thought after hearing of Aokiji's Ice Age." Though this attack was different it was enough to freeze the marines." Probably in the future, he can try to freeze an ocean like he did where the long and short-armed tribe lives.

Vice-Admiral Ren realized the situation was getting difficult so he decided it was time for him to step in. "Looks like I'm up." He began to approach the fire dragon slayer mage. "I'll be taking you and your friend into custody when you both fall."

Natsu just grinned. "Like hell, I'd fall to you, chain guy."

That nickname made the vice-admiral flinch. "That's Vice-Admiral Ren to you brat!" He began to swing part of his chain which weighted the tip. "This chain is my weapon which I've been using when I started as a rookie back in my youth."

Fujika recalled the stories of this marine. "Vice-Admiral Ren a man that used a metal chain that was so strong that could take a row of pirates in seconds, not only that he can use it to snatch an enemy in a tight blind then reel that enemy in."

Natsu gazed at the chain. "That doesn't look tough than Gajeel's Iron." He then smirked. "Whatever I like a challenge." His fists were engulfed in fire. "I'm all fired up now!"

The fire got the attention of the vice-admiral and some marines that were still standing. "Fire..."

"Does he has the power to flame-flame fruit?"

"No the only one that had that power was Portgas D. Ace,"

"Yeah but he's dead!"

The vice admiral studied the pinkette boy's power. "How interesting that power seems like Ace's Devil fruit powers." He knew of the stories of Ace's Logia type and how he went toe-to-toe with Aokiji and Akainu.

"Is your power a devil fruit?" The vice-admiral asked seemingly interested.

Natsu remembered the name of what Boa Hancock told him.

"Your powers are similar to my darling's brother Ace!" Boa Hancock stated as she crossed her arms. "His power was the flame-flame fruit a logia type. Ace's powers were something however his fire was burned by Akainu's Magma."

Natsu just stared at the empress as she continued. "You claim that your powers are magic that's lost magic and your father Igneel an actual dragon taught you this." The empress then smiled. "I just wonder how can it match the navy's power however I'm sure you can handle them."

"My power isn't a devil fruit!" Natsu proclaimed.

The navy soldiers weren't expecting that answer as they know there are devil fruits with different power and three types too.

"Not a devil fruit!?"

"What is this bastard talking about?"

The vice admiral was more interested than before but was confused at the answer which he wasn't expecting to hear. "Then what is your power?"

"Beat me and I'll tell you!" Natsu roared excitedly like he was hungry for a fight.

Duke gripped his chain even tighter. "If that's the case then I shall reel you in and find out what your power is that is if you live as well."

At Sabaody Island

Shakky's Bar

After the battle against Strong Fist King Kung, the three minks Usagi, Temukai, and Tigress were free.

The three minks formed a friendship with the humans and learned that the newcomers Juvia, Cana, Leone, and Akame are from different worlds.

"Snort...snort..." Temukai snorted. "I can hardly believe that there other worlds."

Tigress was having a large steak with a side of cold water. "Yes to think our new friends are from two different worlds."

Learning about the corrupted world that Akame and Leon was something that they thought would be such horrific. "Yes, the world the two former assassins are from is something that we never would see," Usagi said calmly. "However those two and their friends along with this army decided to revolt with several of these Fairy Tail wizards."

"Indeed." Shakky brought some more boozes. "At first I did find it hard to believe but I suppose anything can possible."

Duval's fishmen riders approached the three minks. "Hey!"

"You guys are cool!"

"Yeah, we have never seen Minks before!"

"I heard of them but never saw one in person!"

"We haven't seen such many humans in quite some time," Usagi answered with a small smile. "The only ones we saw back when we were children were Gold D Roger and of course Whitebeard as well as their crew."

The rabbit mink then eyed at his buffalo companion. "As you can Temukai is a Buffalo Mink, he's got strength and speed."

"Aren't Buffalo suppose to be slow?" A fish rider questioned.

"Yes however due to some intense training and advice from Whitebeard's commander Jozu miraculously Temukai got his speed."

Buffalo grinned in a goofy way. "Snort! Yes, I owe master Jozu a lot and I will get stronger."

Tigress stood from her seat doing a kung fu stance. "I'm a fighter instructor as you know on hand-to-hand combat including that Kung fu martial arts."

Usagi sheathed his sword. "I'm skilled with the sword, I possess the power of Haki only two, though not every mink knows how to use it let alone have any of the three." He explained. "I discovered this power about three years ago, I learned from another human on how to master it."

"No kidding!" A fish rider exclaimed. "I learned that Dark King Rayleigh had three types of Haki!"

Tigress roughly placed her hands on the table making it shake hard. "That's right we want to know of Gold D Roger's fate!"

"Snort! Yeah, we heard that he was caught but that can't be possible the Navy couldn't have caught him!" Temukai roared as air blew from his nostrils. "Gold D Roger was the King and very strong!"

Shakky would tell the three minks herself however she felt like Rayleigh should tell them. "Excuse me." The three Minks looked at the bartender. "Rayleigh will be here soon so he can tell you."

Usagi smiled. "Thank you."

Leone and Akame then opened the door.

"It's Akame!"

"Leone our dear wildcat woman!"

"How about a hug for us men for saving you!"

Leone placed her hand on one of the fish rider's faces. "Sorry perverts..." She then grinned as she took her seat. "Anyway let's have a drink!"

Cana then approached the group taking her seat. "You said it, sister!"

Akame smiled a little as she observed the three mink animals. "These beings are quite skilled and very kind." She recalled seeing the three creatures' skills in combat. "Excuse me minks."

The three minks looked towards the former assassin. "Did you come here with anyone else?"

The three minks then looked a bit sad. "We did," Temukai spoke.

"He was a friend of ours," Tigress said sadly.

"Snort! He was a panda bear Mink, his name was Pango, it was about 2 years ago," Usagi added. "Despite his goofy flaws he had such promise however we were attacked by pirates strong ones before we met King Kung."

The rest of the group got interested as the rabbit mink continued. "Then a strong hurricane appeared out of nowhere and shook our ship even the enemy's."

The assassins, wizards, and Fish riders could tell things were about to get worse. "Then lightning struck our ship damaging the mast but Pango held it tight to make sure our ship didn't lose its sail however the wind got more intense and blew him away but at his last attempt he tossed a rope to me."

Usagi stayed calmly but his eyes told the others that he was sad. "That's when we used my agility to tie the rope to each part of our ship's rails to keep the mast steady." Then a look of seriousness appeared on his face. "Tigress, Temukai, and I awoke our ship was safe drifting in the sea that calmed down."

Temukai snorted sadly. "Snort! Pango gave his life to save us and now we can't thank him properly."

Tigress sighed sadly. "I remember his courage and the actions he performed."

The fish riders were now in crocodile tears.

"That's so sad!"

"You lost a dear friend!"

"Yeah, this Pango guy seems so cool!"

"He cares so much for his friends!"

Cana hiccuped. "Despite that, this guy is a Panda bear he sounds like a man despite this goofy flaw he has."

Akame nodded with a small smile. "He sounds like a person I can respect."

Leone grinned. "Yeah even though we don't know your friend I shall give him a toast to honor his memory."

Tigress began to rub her face Akame. "Garchu!" She said with a purring-like tone as she then began to her but her face against Leone next.

Temukai patted his large hand on Cana's head. "Snort! Such an amazing woman you are!"

Cana had a drunken smile. "S-s-s-sure..."

Usagi smiled as well as touched by the humans' kindness and understanding. "I'm honored by your words." He bowed his head.

The gang began to feast and drink up some sake.

"A toast!" They clang their mugs together.

Gray took the frozen marines and placed them on the dock.

In Noble's ship.

Three slaves were feeling the cold air.

"Why is cold air coming from outside?" A slave questioned.

There was a small window in each of the slaves' cells, some were feeling the breeze of Gray's ice.

One of the slaves a female with glasses and purple hair took a wooden stool and stood on it to have a look outside. "Damn it's so cold." It was question is why was it.

She looked to see Gray talking with his partner Miyaka, she observed the situation. "Are they opposing the marines?" Then the stool she stood on started to wobble causing her to fall back but surprisingly she was able to catch herself and land on her feet.

"What is going on out there?" A voice asked.

The voice belonged to another female but a small child with brown hair, a small ponytail, and her clothes was worn out. "Is the pirates?" She took her wooden stool and stood on it to look at it outside the small window.

Miyaka sensed the slaves watching them.

This made the brown-haired slave lower her head so that she wouldn't get spotted or mistaken for trying to escape.

Miyaka observed the ship and realizing who was just watching them so she gestured the ice mage to Noble's ship.

Gray turned to the direction she was gesturing him to which he realized what she was trying to tell him and nodded in approval.

The two walked abroad the Celestial Dragon's ship and went inside.

"This ship is fancy than I thought it'd be." Gray thought.

However, he began to think more of this situation. "If we set the slaves free they'll just get spotted again." He also remembered the collars that slaves have around their necks and what can happen if they were to try to escape.

"I think it's time we do something that Fairy Tail never thought we'd do in a while," Gray smirked. "Hey, Miyaka I have another idea so listen up."

"Taste my chain of steel!" Ren swung his chain and swung the front end at the fire dragon slayer.

Natsu dodged the attack. "I admit that almost got me!" He grinned at the man. "But it'll take more than that to stop me!"

"Cocky little brat aren't ya?" Ren questioned equally smirked but in a dark voice. "This is just the beginning!"

"Oh yeah!" Natsu clenched his fist. "Fire Dragon's: Iron Fist!" His fist was engulfed in flame. "YAAAHHH!"

He charged forward attempted to punch the vice-admiral but to his surprise, he disappeared. "What the heck?"

"Behind you," To the pinkette boy's surprise, the vice-admiral appeared behind him out of nowhere and kicked him in the back.

"Natsu!" Happy panicked with concern.

Natsu was sent crashing into a wall destroying the part of it creating dirt smoke. "If this is all you got boy then I wasted my-"

The rubble where Natsu crashed suddenly emerged from beneath. "Not bad but I dealt with kicks that hurt me more!"

The navy was in disbelief.

"That guy got up like Ren kick was nothing!"

"Yeah not to mention that Ren's s combat skills are strong too!"

Natsu was curious about what moves that his enemy just did. "Hey, chain guy!"

"That's vice-admiral Duke to you brat!" The vice-admiral yelled comically.

"Yeah yeah so what was that move you just used to appear behind me so fast?" Natsu asked curiously.

Ren just smirked. "I ain't telling you that since you're criminal now." He then gripped his chain even tighter as his hands turned into metal but his chain turned dark like a black metallic. "With my Haki, I shall reel you in the name of justice!"

"His chained is black metal now?" Natsu questioned in confusion.

"That's new and it's different from Gajeel's," Happy added.

"That's Armament Haki that turn your fists and weapons black as long as you control the power of Armament," Fujika explained.

Natsu grinned even more. "Sounds cool." He looked at his fist. "I wonder if I could use some of that Haki?" However, his thoughts were interrupted when a chain was thrown towards him which Natsu heard due to his high sense of hearing.

Natsu managed to evade the chain's sharp edge. "Quite the throw you got."

Ren noticed the scar on Natsu's right cheek. "That scar you got..." He pointed out.

Natsu eyed at his right cheek. "Oh, this I got this scar in a battle." He then smirked that showed he recalling the previous battles he was in. "Countless battles I've been in and always hope to fight stronger opponents all of them I kicked their butts!"

The navy soldiers flinched in fear at the boy's words.

"That face is like the pirates that have the will of D!"

"Is this boy one of them!?"

That conversation got Natsu's attention and interest as well. "D what do you guys mean?"

"I guess you never heard of D," Ren guessed. "There are some pirates that have the D in their name."

"You mean like Monkey D. Luffy?" Natsu questioned suddenly interested.

"Yes, those pirates have the will of D in their name and proved to be a threat to the entire world including Gold D. Roger himself," Ren explained. "Though Roger is no more there are still those with D even those without that letter did cause havoc around the world."

Natsu grinned even more. "Well, I have no D in my name I'm Natsu Dragneel."

"But his last name starts with the letter D," A navy pointed out.

"Yes, but it doesn't have the D between his first and last name." Another soldier added.

"Whether he has the will of D doesn't mean he might become a threat in the future!" Ren proclaimed. "If this boy proved to be a threat to the navy he could become the next Pirate King!"

Natsu laughed at that detail. "I have no intention to become a pirate king-" He stopped as his eyes narrowed at the navy. "However I will burn every one of you jerks if you hurt my friends!" He bellowed out so loud that caused an extremely intense roar and soundwaves but the roar was like an angry dragon.

That made the navy flinch while some collapsed to the ground.

"What was that?"

The roar was heard from the noble and navy's ship.

Gray was getting the slaves free using an ice key and made a few more for Miyaka but both stopped as they heard the roar.

"What the heck was that?" Miyaka questioned turning where the sound of the roar came from.

Gray recognized the roar. "That was a dragon's roar." He recalled hearing this one during the war against Oracion Seis. "Sounds like Natsu's." Knowing that things were about to get interesting.

"Was the Conquerer's spirit?" Ren questioned. "It felt like it but the scream was inhuman like an animal or something."

Natsu's body was engulfed in flames.

"He's on fire!" A navy officer exclaimed eye-popping.

"Maybe he'll do us a favor and burn to death!" Another said.

Ren smirked evilly and gripped his chain even tighter. "I think it's time we end this!" His body soon transformed into metallic. "This is my full-body Armament Haki transformation!"

"So you can use your Haki to turn yourself into metallic?" Natsu questioned.

"That's right, you scared now?" Ren asked with a smirk. His smirk vaded when Natsu seemingly looked unimpressed.

"That's nothing compared to Gajeel's!" Natsu replied with a shrug and boring look.

"Mocking me are ya!" Ren comically shouted with shark teeth.

"Man vice-admiral Ren is losing his cool!" A navy soldier pointed out looking scared.

"Yeah he's usually a calm guy but losing his cool is something rarely seen." Another said. "Now that I think about it he hasn't lost a battle in over 5 years."

"Who was his last opponent that got under his skin?" A knight asked.

"His opponent was Eustass Kid!" A navy soldier answered.

"The Eustass Kid? The captain of the Kid pirates!?" The knight questioned surprisingly.

"That pirate has the Jiki-Jiki no Mi fruit!" Another navy soldier stated. "With his magnetism power he was able to overpower Ren with ease but that was when he was a Rear-Admiral back then."

"When Ren lost that battle he was so furious that he kept using his chain to destroy anything he came across but he was eventually stopped by Vice-Admiral Garp," The navy soldier explained.

Natsu grinned like he was glad to see the battle was going to get more serious. "So you're going all out well then-" His body began to heat up and soon his body was engulfed in the flame that was so intense. "So shall I!"

"That guy is scary!" A navy soldier cried out shaking to the core. "Vice-Admiral I need permission to leave this battle I can't die like this I can't leave my family on their own!"

Ren glanced at the soldier with a very disapproving look on his face. "This is a battle we're in right now soldier!" He roared out greatly disapproved. "If you walk out on this battle then you're a disgrace to the navy!"

Natsu wondered what was going on now. "What the-" Vice-Admiral then turned to face the attempted fleeing navy soldier. "If you leave this battle then you'll disgrace your family!"

The navy soldier stepped back in fear as the Vice-Admiral began to swing his chain and flung it towards the soldier which Natsu sensed as he quickly acted in a flash.

The chain was stopped by Natsu's barehand which he caught taking the other navy soldiers by surprise including Fujika and the vice-admiral, who were dumbfounded.

"That soldier is your friend!" Natsu roared angrily. "How could you try strike at one of your men!"

The other navy soldiers were taken aback by this outburst.

Ren just gave a cold stare. "What is it to you that I take out my men if they attempt to flee!"

"He said he's got a family and he wants to be with them!" Natsu roared. "If you kill him then you're no better than any other cold-hearted pirate in the world!"

Ren was greatly offended by that. "You dare compare me to a pirate!" He roared as he began to swing his chain again. "I shall make you eat those words with your life now!"

"Bring it on!" Natsu roared again as his flames grew bigger even more as it took the form of a dragon that looked like Igneel.

"WHAAATTT!" The navy screamed with eye-popping expressions.

"Is that Dragon!"

"Where'd that come from?!"

"It appeared in the flames!"

"How can that be?!"

So many questions were going through the navy soldier's heads but Ren was more intrigued than scared. "Perhaps I should bring you alive after all!" He swung his chain even more creating more speed to the swinging. "Let's finish this now!"

He slammed the chain to the ground creating a shockwave. "Steel Smash Wave!" The shockwave created a fissure that was sent directly towards Natsu.

The pinkette boy dodged it just in time. "That was some power." He thought. "I admit that you're strong and that's what I like defeating strong opponents!"

"Cocky brat!" Ren shouted getting riled up even more and swung his chain again slamming it into the ground creating another shockwave.

"Fire Dragon's Sword Horn!" Natsu engulfed himself in fire and charged into the attack.

Both the attacks collided creating intense energy that shook and blew some nearby trash cans, barrels, and even navy soldiers.

Fujika covered her face with her arms. "Such power from the two powerhouses."

The attacks then exploded sending the two sliding backward.

Natsu huffed wiping his face. "I admit that attack was stronger than I thought." He made a fist. "Let's try this...Fire Dragon's Flame Elbow!"

A stream of fire came from his elbow.

"Whoa, fire is coming from his elbow!" The navy soldiers exclaimed in awe.

The knights were in disbelief. "WHHAATTT!?"

Natsu then propelled himself towards the vice-Admiral as his fist came closer to hitting part of his cheek.

Barely evaded the attack a slight scratch appeared on Ren's cheek and bled a little. "Uhh..." He wiped the small scratch with his finger and licked it. "That burnt a bit." He narrowed his eyes towards the pinkette boy. "But it's going to take more than that to stop me."

"Good cause I ain't done!" Natsu proclaimed as he rushed toward the vice-admiral grabbing him by the face. "Fire Dragon's Grip Strike!"

Natsu's head released a vast amount of explosive flames at point-blank range, burning the vice-admiral's face.

"Vice-Admiral Ren!" The navy soldiers screamed in terror.

The other navy soldier that was threatened stood still and was quite surprised that he was saved by the enemy.

Vice-Admiral Ren shook off the attack as much as he could. His face was barely scorched due to his Haki metal transformation but his metallic make-over started to crack. "Quite the power you got there and my metallic form is starting to crack."

Enough was enough and the vice-admiral decided playtime was over. "I think it's time we end this." He began to swing his chain even faster and faster. "Chain Steel Wheel!" He swung the chain that was still swinging in a circle like a wheel with high speed.

"Dragon Slayer's Secret Art!" Natsu began swiping his arms in a circular fashion creating a powerful and highly destructive torrent of flames. "Crimson Lotus: Exploding Flame Blade!"

The torrent of flames collided with the vice-admiral's attack but Natsu's magic was so overwhelming that his chain attack was destroyed and the vice-admiral was soon barraged then burned into a crisp.

The Vice-admiral was sent flying away.

"VICE-ADMIRAL REN!" The navy and knights screamed in horror.

"You did it Natsu!" Happy cheered happily.

Fujika couldn't believe what she was seeing. "Vice-Admiral Ren was defeated, incredible."

The attack was so overwhelming that the nearby buildings and shops were destroyed luckily no citizens were nearby.

Natsu was panting a bit. "That guy was tough but I won."

Fujika knew he wasn't out of the woods yet. "Smoke Bomb!" She tossed another glass of liquid creating another explosion and thick foggy mist.

"I can't see!" A navy soldier coughed.

"Now's our chance!" Fujika suggested.

Natsu saw that too and picked up his new friend carrying her away. "Happy let's go!"

"Aye, sir!" Happy picked up his partner and flew away.

Fujika was flustered at being carried by a man. "Natsu!" She cried out.

"What is it?" Natsu asked in confusion.

"Aw, she loves you!" Happy teased.

"Less teasing and more flying!" Natsu shouted equally embarrassed.

Just then an ice attack was launched which Natsu turned to and smirked. "That's the signal let's go!"

"Aye!" Happy said.

Gray and Miyaka gathered all the slaves freeing them all from their cells including the collars that they wore around their necks.

The two former marines then took all the frozen marines onto the docks and returned to their ship with all the slaves.

Gray checked to see if everything on the ship was intact. "Looks like everything is ok."

"Yes the sail is still fine and no enemies in sight yet!" Miyaka added as she sensed three individuals due to her Observation Haki. "Natsu, Happy, and Fujika are close by!"

They arrived on the deck of the navy ship. "Looks like we arrived in time."

"Let's set sail to Water 7!" Gray announced. "I heard that Lisanna, Mira, and Elfman are there!"

Natsu and Happy were happy to hear that. "That's amazing!"

"Aye!"

Suddenly a dash of light was shined from a nearby building and fired directly at the ship.

Miyaka sensed this and attempted to alert the others but the light formed into a laser beam that hit her in the arm.

The laser attack caused Miyaka to fall back in pain. "Aaah!" She screamed holding her wounded arm.

"No!" Gray shouted in terror.

"How did that happen?" Natsu wondered in shock.

Fujika sensed an intense power from nearby as she looked in the direction where the laser attack came from. "This isn't good."

"My my to think the criminals attempted to escape but only by a minute," A voice called and a bright yellow light appeared on the deck.

"Kizaru!" Fujika shouted in terror.

Happy was equally frightened and sensing the aura of the man. "This guy won't be a pushover."

"Oh my...a talking cat...a mink perhaps?" Kizaru wondered with interest. "Either way it won't matter." He raised his foot and formed into light over Miyaka.

"No don't hurt her!" Gray yelled in anger.

"Surrender now or she'll pay the price for your treachery Vice-Admiral Gray," Kizaru warned with a creepy grin.

"Happy!" Natsu called.

The blue exceed flew towards the girl which Kizaru noticed but this also distracted him.

"Fire Dragon's Iron Fist!" Natsu charged with a fiery fist but as he punched the man's head it vanished.

"Nice try but my Glit-Glit fruit power is logia type so you can't hurt me," Kizaru said with a calm look on his face.

Natsu smirked. "I know but I wasn't attempting to hurt you-"

"Huh?" Kizaru said in confusion and when he looked down Miyaka was gone.

"Let's try this!" Fujika took out handcuffs but not just ordinary ones. She tossed them towards the Admiral but he realized what Kuja pirate was attempting to do so he vanished in the speed of light but one of the handcuffs snatched his arm.

"You got me but only my left wrist," The Glit-Glit fruit user hummed. "However I still have a free hand."

The tall lanky admiral pointed with his finger attempting to fire another laser beam but Natsu saw his chance and grabbed the hand that was trapped.

He threw him aside but Kizaru wasn't finished yet. "I ain't done yet, kid." He continued to point with his finger as a laser was fired from the tip.

Natsu barely evaded the attack which hit part of the ocean creating a large explosion. "Let's get out of here!" His body was engulfed in fire and lightning. "Lighting Flame Dragon Mode!"

"My my," Kizaru said impressed at the display. "Fire and lightning quite the combination you got."

"I think it's time for our escape!" Natsu inhaled his breath. "Lightning Fire Dragon's Roar!"

The fire dragon slayer unleashed his lightning and fire breath attack towards the dock. "Why did you aim at the water?" Kizaru wondered in confusion.

"Admiral their ship is moving!" A navy soldier pointed out.

The navy soldier was right, Kizaru noticed the ship was starting to move that attack that Natsu unleashed was also creating waves strong at that.

"I have an idea!" Gray placed his fist into his palm. "Ice-Make: Boat Booster!"

Two pairs of boosters were attached to the back of the ship. "Now let's go!"

The ice boosters unleashed a strong wind of cold air making the navy ship move faster and thanks to Natsu's breath attack the ship moved faster than ever. "We're outta here!" Happy cheered.

Fujika held on to Gray's partner as the ship moved along the waves of the ocean. "Water 7 here we come!" Natsu cheered. "Lisanna, Elfman, and Mira we're on our way!"

Kizaru scratched his head. "Uhh...they got away." He never thought he'd get outsmarted this quick. "I let my guard down."

"Admiral Kizaru what should we do now?" A navy soldier asked.

"Let's report this to headquarters and see if our photo reporters got a picture of the criminals," Kizaru replied as he walked away with his hands in his pockets. "Oh and make sure that Vice-Admiral Ren gets medical treatment."

Later that sunset was approaching.

Fujika was treating Miyaka's wound. "How is she?" Gray asked concerned about his new friend.

The purple-haired amazon smiled. "She'll pull through all she needs is rest and once we get to Water 7 we'll get some more supplies."

"What about them?" Happy gestured towards the slaves.

"Good question," Fujika wondered. "They can't stay with us forever because the navy might catch with us someday and they'll just be brought back to Charloss."

"I think I have a solution," Natsu suggested as his friends looked at him and a goofy smile appeared on his face. "They can join our guild!"

Gray facepalmed. "Idiot!" That caused the pinkette to press his forehead towards the ice mage. "What'd you say to me ice stripper!"

"Idiot lizard boy!" Gray growled comically. "Secondly we can't put them endanger since we're about to wanted criminals!"

"Where will they go pervy popsicle!?" Natsu talked back with a growl.

The two started to fight like children as they swung their hands at each other comically.

"This is unusual," The glasses-wearing female slave whispered.

"They're funny though," A little female child giggled.

"Ah, the ice boy is half-naked!" Another female slave shrieked in embarrassment.

Gray looked down and saw that he was in his boxers. "Aw, man!" Fujika turned her head away pretending she didn't see that.

"Anyway let's talk about this tomorrow," Natsu yawned. "All that fighting wore me out so good night." He walked into the ship's cabin waving casually.

Gray shrugged. "I suppose I'll stay up for a while."

Fujika agreed. "Ok in two hours you can sleep while I stay guard." The ice mage nodded in agreement.

Natsu and slaves went to different rooms to rest for the night, Miyaka was in another room sleeping while Gray stayed awake for two hours.

Two hours eventually and Gray went to his room to sleep while Fujika stayed guard for a few hours.

Fujika processed everything that happened back on Pucci. "That was very intense." Images of Natsu and Gray punching the Celestial Dragon was something she won't forget. "They were really brave to stand up to Charloss."

Shortly after at Marineford Headquarters.

The escape of Fairy Tail and their new friends reached Akainu. "What!?" He slammed his fists at a navy soldier. "Vice-Admiral Gray and Miyaka escaped!"

"Yes sir Kizaru almost got them but they outsmarted him," The navy soldier explained.

"Never thought that Kizaru could let his guard down," Akainu growled in annoyance. "Is there anything else?"

"This Natsu boy had fire powers similar to Ace's but his attacks were different," The navy soldier explained pointing at Natsu's photo. "He called his attack Fire Dragon something."

"A boy with similar powers to Fire Fist Ace," Akaina thought with concern. "We can't let something like this slide send out wanted posters of Natsu, Gray, and their companions at once!"

"Yes sir!" The soldier saluted and gone in out of the office in a flash.

Akainu took hold of the picture of Gray. "Pity a young lad like you with such potential could've put every pirate and any other criminal to rest." His manga powers started to emerge from his hand burning the photo. "Gray and your friends shall be hunted down!"

At sea.

Erza's team along with the Thunder Region were close to the island where Wendy and her team were at.

"Land ahoy!" Bickslow proclaimed.

"This isn't a joy ride you know!" Evergreen exclaimed.

Laxus picked up a familiar scene but not one but a few more. "Wait I smell-"

Gajeel smelled the air and caught a few scents. "No way!"

Levy heard this. "What is it Gajeel?"

Kagura took a pair of binoculars and looked ahead to the Long-Ring-Long Land. "There's smoke coming from that island!"

"Could it be?" Mest questioned with hope.

"Let's go to the island and find out!" Erza proclaimed.

Back at on the island.

Wendy and her team were having fun celebrating a good camp dinner with Tojit and his family.

"Man, that beats the spot!" Lucy said full.

Capricorn then appeared out of nowhere. "Miss Lucy I believe we got company arriving on the island."

That got the Celestial wizard to tense up a bit. "Is it enemies like the Navy?"

Before she could answer Wendy who was nearby caught a scent from the direction they came from on their boat. "I smell our friends!"

Everyone stopped and went in the direction where Wendy smelled the scents.

The ship arrived with Erza, Mest, Kagura, the Thunder Region, and Shadow Gear Team.

"Hi everybody!" Bickslow called out.

"Lucy we're here!" Levy waved with a happy face.

Wendy was so happy that she was on the verge of tears. "Everyone is-is-is here."

Lucy started to get teary-eyed too. "Everyone..."

Yukino was just as happy as the others were. "Erza and the others are here!"

The groups ran into each other and hugged in tears of joy well most of them.

Tonjit and his family smiled at the heartwarming reunion. "I take it these are friends of yours?" The old man asked.

"Who is that old guy?" Gajeel wondered.

"We'll explain over a quick dinner," Wendy suggested.

"Fine with me I'm hungry either," Erza said with a smile.

Kagura ran over to Wendy and hugged her with a blushing red face. "Little sister you're alright!"

Mest smiled softly. "I'm glad you guys are safe."

Yukino was happy to see them but she wished that some of her guildmates would be here but she hopes to see them soon. "My friends..."

So far now Wendy and her team have reunited with some of the others. Natsu and Gray reunite causing quite a ruckus with the Celestial Dragons and the navy.

What will happen next is anyone's guess, find out next time.
