Chapter 26: The Navy's Plan Part 1

Somewhere on the Grand Line.

Brook was on a ship and traveling towards Sabaody.

The skeleton practiced some tunes he was going to play at the concert that's being held at Sabaody. "So my destination is almost near." He had a hidden newspaper of Luffy's reappearance at Marineford. "Luffy, everyone I long last to see you guys since it's been 2 years so no doubt that you all were be departing from whatever island you may be on."

He had a secret stash of the new wanted women. "To think there would be newcomers during this year." He glanced at the wanted posters of the female Fairy Tail wizards and night raid assassins. "Those lovely ladies are something, I wonder if they'll show me their panties."

In another part of the ocean.

Franky was traveling on a boat, a bag full of new gear for the Thousand Sunny, and he wearing a hoody just in case. "I can hardly wait to show my new looks and tech skills to the others!" He did his super stance. "SUPER!" He sat back down and looked at the newspaper of the Celestial Dragon.

The cyborg straw hat pirate smirked with interest. "To think that Celestial Dragon fat man would get his ass kicked again and by a young man with pink hair." He looked at the front page. "And by a Vice-Admiral too, heh...things might get interesting."

About one mile from Long Ring Long Land.

A marine ship was floating through the ocean.

"So what is the mission?" A marine asked through a transponder snail.

The man had thick black hair, he was tall with a 2 pack muscle body, and a scar on his cheek.

Next to his chair was a katana sword.

Vice-Admiral Nicholas

"The order to capture any of those newcomers that Brannew announced at Marineford Headquarters!" A male voice replied. "As you know a few of them were spotted at the Alabasta Kingdom but they seemed to have left so their spot should be Long Ring Long Land."

"Is your partner there?" The voice asked.

"Yes sir!" Another saluted.

There stood a woman wearing a marine captain uniform with dark blue hair with two twin ponytails hung on each side of her head, a busty chest, and a spear that was hanging on her back.

"What about backup?" The marine captain wondered.

"Headquarters is sending Ship Cutter" T Boone along with some government guys to handle the situation," The man explained. "They're be arriving at Water 7 a day or so."

"Is that so Cipher Poll is going to get involved then?" Nicholas asked with a curious look. "What about Kizaru?"

"He should be there soon as well," The government agent replied. "I know he isn't going to let some criminals escape him so easily."

"Sounds like our job may be easy with an Admiral on our side," Nicholas said with a cocky grin.

"Perhaps and we're willing to grant any marine that can capture these newcomers a rank up," The government guy replied. "So don't let your guard down and make sure that to take those new criminals along with any companions of theirs into custody."

"Yes sir, over and out," The Vice-Admiral hung up the receiver.

"So Nicholas, now what?" Mio wondered.

"Little red it's about time we pay a visit to Long Ring Long Land," The Vice-Admiral replied not looking at his partner.

He stood up from his seat. "Listen up!"

Mio along with other marine soldiers saluted. "Our mission is to capture the new criminals that have been causing chaos for the Navy so our first stop is Long Ring Long Land!" The thick-haired marine explained. "We're searching around the island for anyone that has seen these people."

The Vice-Admiral held up wanted posters of Erza's and Wendy's team. "As you all probably guessed Alabasta is back where Vice-Admiral Sorano encountered these monsters and no doubt they probably stop at the next island: Long Ring Long Land!"

The marines were interested as the Vice-Admiral continued. "So once we arrived at Long Ring Long Land we'll investigate the place and once that's done we're on our way to Water 7, understand!?"

"Yes sir!" The marines saluted loudly.

At Water 7

Dock 1

Elfman was helping a few of the Franky Family guys by carrying wood beams and putting them in a stacked pile. "Manly work!"

"You said it big brother Elfman!" Zambai proclaimed with a huge grin.

"Yeah, we're manly!" Tilestone roared while pumping his arms up.

Lulu smiled. "Yes, we're manly indeed." He said calmly.

Aquapad and Lisanna were in another area helping others by counting the supplies that were orderly placed.

"So we got some beams?"

"Check!"

"Sail masts?"

"Check!"

"Keel parts?"

"Check!"

"Good!"

Mirajane along with Kiwi and Mozu were getting the food prepared. "This brings me back when I worked in a restaurant during the year after Fairy Tail's disbandment."

"You are quite a talented cook Mira!" Kiwi praised.

"Yes! I think Sanji the cook of the Strawhat Pirate crew would be impressed!" Most agreed.

Mira smiled brightly at the two square sisters. "Thank you."

At Iceburg's office.

The mayor was at his desk and signing some papers for his work.

On another desk was some wanted poster of their recruits which the mayor glanced at. "To think that Fairy Tail is gaining quite the attention from the Navy." He smiled a little. "They indeed have a way of getting attention just like back in their world."

Knock knock

"Come in," The mayor called as the door to his office opened.

Paulie arrived. "Boss I just word that our recruits may be heading this way."

Iceberg's eyes widened with concern. "That means our city could become a battlefield if the Navy is on their trail which we can assume might be the case."

"What should we do the Fairies' ship isn't ready yet," Iceberg wondered placing his hand under his chin.

"I suggest we put keep working hard to complete as soon as we can," Paulie suggested. "However we can't rush it too soon one mistake on building a ship and the vessel could break easily."

Iceburg agreed to that. "True at any rate we must be prepared for anything if the Navy were to come here."

"Iceburg you know the government thinks you're dead if word gets out to them then Cipher Poll might return," Paulie said with a concerned look.

"True but since the Eneis Lobby is destroyed they shouldn't bother us at least that we can assume for now," Iceburg replied. "However we can't let our guard down and I agree with some of what you say too."

On the ocean outside of Pucci Island

Kizaru along with a wounded Vice-Admiral Ren was riding on their battleship.

"My my, to think these four were able to escape me," The lakky Admiral said with a grin. "But that only caused they were on a ship and able to use attacks to get away from us."

The Admiral was holding four wanted posters of Natsu, Happy, Fujika, Gray, and Miyaka. "I can be assured that you four haven't seen the last of me."

"How is Vice-Admiral Ren?" He asked a nearby soldier.

"He should be okay from what our doctors said, though the doc said that he should stay in bed for a few days." The marine soldier replied.

Kizaru chuckled a little. "My my guess Ren got a little cocky and now he ends up like this." He shook his head. "Any-way...we should be arriving at Water 7 in a day or so."

On the Sea train

"Listen up our mission to ambush any of these newcomers at Water 7!" The skeletal like man stated to other marines that were sitting in the way back. "Once we arrive we'll see to it that these criminals shall be brought down!" He then started to get all teary eyed. "Pity these young ones shall meet a violent end!"

The other marines were silent at the teary eyed Rear Admiral.

In other row of seats were Government agents wearing different masks.

The first agent wore a tiger-like face.

The second agent wore a creepy clown mask.

The third agent wore a plastic porcelain mask that had bright red circles on the cheeks.

The fourth agent wore a mask that resembled an old man with wrinkles, a big nose, a frown-like expression, and circles under both eyes.

The man wearing the tiger mask looked towards the thin marine. "Is Admiral Kizaru going to arrive there soon?"

"So we'll have the advantage over these criminals then," A voice said.

"I heard of these two women." The marine held up two wanted posters of Erza and Kagura. "I can hardly wait to face them someday and with my Rust Rust powers I'll be sure they'll rust to nothing less."

The man wearing the clown mask had a question. "Is anyone more navy officers showing up?"

T Bone placed his hand on his chest. "Sadly the others are busy so we'll leave to deal with these ourselves." He picked up a handkerchief. "So every one of you is sure to stay alive, I don't want any of my companions to die!"

He cupped his hands together with a hopeful expression. "So I pray for your safety!" He bawled out all teary-eyed. "So don't die on me and don't cause much violence either please!"

The marines were silent while some were weirded out with a sweat drop, others were whispering to each other.

"That's awkward,"

"At least he's caring,"

"Too caring..."

"He's really into being gentle it seems,"

The clown pirate was reading a newspaper. "Tch so another newcomer has made a name for himself." He was looking at the front page of Natsu with his flying cat, what he read next made his eyes pop out comically. "AAAHHH! A TALKING FLYING CAT, WHAT IS THIS WORLD COMING TO!?"

Alvida was looking at a wanted poster of Gray Fullbuster. "Hmm to think a Vice-Admiral would be quite bold to oppose the Celestial Dragon." She had a seductive smile on her face. "However this young man is quite handsome, I wonder if I'll get to see this hunk."

"Man these newcomers are powerful," The wax fruit user said with slight interest, he was holding two wanted posters of Erza and Kagura. "Two swordswomen with different sword skills, that Kagura woman fought with her sword in its sheath, I admit that's something that Zoro never did neither did Mihawk before."

Buggy then smirked. "Well looks like we got some people that just as crazy as Strawhat," He wondered what his rival was doing now after he reappeared at Marineford. "Either way it's been a year so I guess I won't know if he's gonna show his mug again."

The Alabasta Kingdom.

Vivi was running towards the throne room with a newspaper. "Father!"

King Cobra was sitting on his chair. "What is it, Vivi?"

His daughter held up a newspaper. "It seems that this Natsu person that Lucy and her friends mentioned is alright!"

"That's good and I'm sure Lucy along with her friends found that out too," Cobra said with a smile.

Vivi wasn't done as she had more news to share. "It also says here that Natsu along with his cat companion Happy opposed the Celestial Dragon!"

Igaram was in awe. "No way! Ma-ma-ma!" He cleared his throat. "Sounds like this Natsu guy is just as crazy as Luffy is!"

Pell was looking at the wanted poster of Natsu. "Quite the interesting man he is, I wonder how far this man will get." He was also impressed with the flying cat. "That flying cat Happy is like Carla only this blue cat is male."

Back at Water 7

Rocky Cape.

Natsu and his friends docked at the cape.

"We arrived!"

"Aye let's go find Lisanna and the others!"

"Natsu!" Gray called out.

Natsu and his cat partner jumped off the ship.

"What is it?" The pinkette stopped and glanced back at the ice mage.

"I got to get Miyaka to a doctor so go and I'll meet up with you guys later!" Gray replied.

Natsu nodded with a wave before he ran off. "Alright, anyway Happy let's go!"

"Wait I'll help you two out!" Fujika followed after the two.

In the water, two eyes were lurking below the surface and it followed the three teens.

Natsu then stopped and sense the water creature due to his high sense of hearing. "Hmm?" He stopped.

"What is it?" Happy wondered.

Fujika sensed the water creature due to her Observation Haki. "I think something is lurking in the water." She looked to the right so did Natsu.

"Who is there!?" The pinkette demanded ready for a fight.

Fujika's face went red at the look of boldness she saw on the boy's face. "That look it's hot."

Out of the water came Yokozuna the sea like a frog.

"What is that?" Happy asked in surprise.

"It's a giant frog!" Natsu exclaimed but was impressed.

The frog did a sumo stance like he was challenging the Fire Dragon slayer. "You want a fight?"

Yokozuna nodded which Natsu smirked. "I accept your challenge!"

"Is this necessary?" Happy wondered.

"I suppose I might on easy on you since I'll win," Natsu said with a cocky smile. "Let's do this!"

On Sabaody

Rayleigh arrived back on the island, at Shakky's Bar.

"Home at last," He said with a small smile. "I wonder how Shakky and the others are doing."

He walked toward the stairway and then a newspaper dropped in front of him. "What is the news today?" He read the front page and was surprised of he saw, below his feet were four wanted posters. "Well seems our new friend's companions are making names for themselves."

He continued up the stairway as he began to think of what he read. "Natsu Dragneel, he must be the Fire Dragon Slayer that Cana and the other wizards mentioned." He was more interested than he was before. "Sounds like Natsu's power is more than we think."

He thought of the part where Natsu's dragon-like roar made the navy soldiers and some of Charloss' guards faint. "I wonder if that boy has the Conquerer's Haki, if so then things might get interesting than I thought."
