Hello all Storm here with a new story! Here we'll be seeing Naruto once again awaken the Mokuton, only for him to gain it in a different way, along with a very different experience to how he awakens it. So, without further ado.

"Is the procedure ready to begin?" Asked Danzō Shimura, standing next to the Snake Sannin Orochimaru, in one of the latter's bases.
"Yes, everything is set and ready to go. Whether the boy survives or not though, that's still up for debate." Orochimaru replied, as the two looked down at the unconscious form of a five-year-old boy with spiky blonde hair, lightly tanned skin, and three whisker marks on his cheeks.
This was Naruto Uzumaki, the Kyūbi Jinchūriki, or Konoha's weapon as Danzō viewed the boy.
"The Jinchūriki will survive. It's healing factor as both an Uzumaki and a Jinchūriki will allow the boy to survive the implantation." Danzō said, Orochimaru raising brow as he glanced at his former benefactor.
Orochimaru had been hired by the warhawk in order to infuse the DNA of Hashirama Senju into Naruto, believing that thanks to his longevity and healing factor, he'd be able to survive the implantation. Something the Sannin was skeptical of, given the fact all his previous attempt to implant Hashirama's DNA into his subjects ended in failures, so he didn't have high hopes that it'll succeed this time, even with the boy's abilities.
"And let's say he does survive the process, what then? You truly believe you have a chance of controlling an Uzumaki Jinchūriki, that also possesses the Mokuton? His heritage alone would make him a threat with the right training, him being the Jinchūriki of the Kyūbi only increasing that danger. By giving him the Mokuton, you're creating possibly one of the most powerful Ninja in history, one I doubt anyone could control." Orochimaru said, fully believing that if Naruto did survive the process and awakened the Mokuton, then Danzō had no hope of turning him into the weapon, he so desired.
Not to mention the fact, if Naruto does awaken the Mokuton, then it'll definitely have his sensei after him. Given the Sandaime is already on his tail after his previous experiments to recreate the Mokuton, with this simply being what his sensei needed to come after him, personally.
"Even if the weapon were to reach that level, I will still be able to control him with the Sharingan arm, you have provided me. Especially now that it was infused with the cells of the Shodaime Hokage, as well. And once my plan to ensure the destruction of the Uchiha Clan is completed, I will have access to numerous extra Sharingan, that will be more than enough to control the Kyūbi Brat." Danzō stated, fully assured that with his new arm, and the Sharingan he'll soon have access to, he will have more than enough power to control the boy.
Orochimaru just looked the warhawk blankly, inwardly scoffing, since he always felt that Danzō had an over-inflated opinion of himself and his abilities. While yes, he was a powerful Ninja and still is, he wasn't anywhere near the level of his sensei, even with the Mokuton and Sharingan. Given the fact, he intended to use Izanagi to basically cheat in fights and avoid dying, showed that even Danzō himself wasn't confident in his own abilities, if he encountered a serious threat.
"Yes. Though it's quite sad, that such a prominent and ancient Ninja Clan will go extinct." Orochimaru said, with a mockingly solemn tone, especially with his desire to take an Uchiha body for himself and gain the Sharingan to assist in his goals, especially once he finishes his Kinjutsu to take over a person's body.
"The Uchiha have served their purpose and will now be dealt with. The only thing they have left to give Konoha, is their eyes." Said Danzō, as despite his hatred of the Uchiha Clan, he still coveted their eyes and the power they granted.
"Of course. But unlike you, I would prefer an actual Uchiha body to take, rather than just eyes." Orochimaru retorted, knowing unlike the warhawk he wanted a natural Sharingan, rather than just implanted ones.
After all, if his Kinjutsu works as he plans it to. Then even if he takes a new body, he'll still possess the Sharingan, since his old ones would still be assimilated into his being.
"You will have your body. If my plan goes as I wish it to, then Itachi will wipe out the entire Uchiha Clan for me. And you will be free to take over his body or Sasuke Uchiha's." Said Danzō, knowing if things go as he plans Itachi will wipe out the Uchiha Clan, leaving only his brother alive, giving Orochimaru two candidates for his Uchiha body.
'And people call me a monster.' Orochimaru thought, knowing despite all his talk of doing everything for the "good of Konoha", the Sannin knew Danzō only cared about his version of Konoha, one where everyone are his loyal puppets to command and dispose of, once their use has run out.
Afterwards, they began the operation, with Orochimaru seeing that Naruto was still alive, so far. But knew how quickly that could change, from his previous experiments with the Mokuton.
Only for the rest of the procedure to go smoothly with no side-effects or close calls to worry about, with the boy's body having successfully assimilated Hashirama's DNA.
"Now to see if he has access to the Mokuton." Orochimaru said, taking out several plants and seeds, placing them around Naruto to see if any of them would react, given it was known that Hashirama had an effect on plant life just by being near it, now to see if Naruto would effect it as well.
Only for the two to be disappointed, when after a few moments, nothing happened.
"Another failure, how disappointing." Orochimaru stated, actually having hoped Naruto would awaken the Mokuton after managing to survive the operation.
It would have been interesting to see how strong his Mokuton would have been compared to Hashirama's. Even more so, with the Kyūbi empowering it. But it seemed that wasn't possible, as while the boy survived the infusion, he didn't awaken the Mokuton like they expected.
While Danzō made a "tsk" sound of annoyance, before silently motioning one of his ROOT Anbu to take the boy back to his apartment. With no one being the wiser of what had happened to Naruto, nor with anyone knowing the coming consequences of their actions.
*Timeskip-Five Years*
Five years have passed, since Danzō and Orochimaru's attempt to recreate the Mokuton in Naruto, and a lot has changed since then.
With Orochimaru having gone rogue, after being found by his former sensei performing his experiments. But managing to escape, due the Sandaime's hesitance to kill his old student. Along with Danzō's plans to exterminate the Uchiha Clan being a success. With all the Uchiha except Sasuke having been massacred, while Itachi was labeled a Missing-Nin.
While Naruto continued going about his life, completely unaware of what had happened to him, five years ago.
Currently, Naruto was walking home from the Academy, after having failed the Graduation Exam, due to being unable to perform the Clone Jutsu. Something Naruto's never been able to do, no matter how hard he tries, only ever being able to produce pale, dead looking clones.
With his already low mood not helping when his classmate Hibachi made fun of him for being unable to perform the Clone Jutsu. Though he was stopped by their teacher Iruka, but not out of kindness or concern for Naruto, only that Hibachi shouldn't bother with a kid like him. Which only hurt and saddened Naruto even more, that even when he's the one being picked on, he's still somehow at fault.
The whiskered blonde never knowing why he was treated this way, only that it's been like that for as long as he can remember. With no one ever willing to tell him why, since everyone either glared at him or ignored him, while the Hokage doesn't really tell him anything at all.
Now, Naruto simply wanted to go home. Actually liking the idea of returning to his empty apartment, if it meant not having to deal the villagers glares, for the rest of the day.
Unfortunately, before Naruto could begin the walk home, he tensed when he saw a large group of civilians and Ninja gathering in front of him. All of them glaring hatefully at him, with Naruto noticing a few that seemed to be swaying slightly or had unfocused looks in their eyes. The Uzumaki figuring they were likely drunk, given how the villagers usually only glared or ignored him. Never actually forming a mob, like the one they were now.
And the boy figured with their current state of mind, they didn't have the same restrictions about only glaring or ignoring him.
"Get the demon!" One of the mob members shouted, this apparently being all they needed to charge toward Naruto, with the whiskered blonde paling, before immediately turning around and started running away to escape the mob.
'Why is this happening to me?!' Naruto thought, not knowing what he could have done to deserve this.
Since sure, he pulled some pranks, but he didn't think they were bad enough to warrant being attacked by a mob. Though it was thanks to his pranking, that Naruto was familiar with all the twists and turns of the village. Having memorized them in order to escape from pursuers before. But despite this, the mob kept up with him, with Naruto not knowing that some of the Ninja in the mob were able to sense him, no matter where he was running.
This continued on for several moments, until Naruto made a wrong turn, leading him straight into an alleyway with a dead end. Paling at seeing there was no exit, Naruto made to turn around hope to escape before the mob cornered him, only to cry out and fall down, when a rock impacted the back of his head. The boy attempted to get up, only to gasp in pain when he was kicked in the chest knocking him back down.
"It's time you learned your place freak!"
"This is for our friends and families!"
"A monster like you doesn't belong her!"
These were just a few of the things the mob shouted, as they began punching and kicking Naruto repeatedly. With the Uzumaki being unable to do anything, but attempt shield himself from their blows.
'Why, why, why, why, why, WHY?!' Thought Naruto repeatedly, not knowing what he ever did to be hated like this, to be attacked for seemingly no reason at all.
And not just this, but why he was always picked on by other kids?! Why do parents pulled their children away from him?! Why did the Academy teachers always ignored him?! Why is any of this was happening to him?!
With every attack, Naruto's stress, fear, pain, and anger grew with each passing moment, until it finally reached its breaking point.
"LEAVE ME ALONE!" Naruto shouted, throwing his arm out in an attempt to get the mob to go away, only for something completely unexpected to happen.
Massive wooden roots suddenly burst out of Naruto's arm, towards the shocked mob, only for their shock to quickly turn to fear and panic as the wooden roots began impaling all of them. With some of Naruto's attackers attempting to try and escape, only for the roots to burrow underground as well, before bursting out of the ground and stabbing them as well. With only being a few moments later, that the entire mob was dead, their bodies suspended in the air by the roots. While Naruto was in the center of it all, his entire body covered in blood. Whether from it splattering out of the people as they were impaled or dripping down from their corpses.
Naruto panted as he stood up, before what happened finally began registering for the boy, as his eyes widened in shock and horror.
"Wh-what…what did I just do?" Naruto muttered, looking around in horror at all the bodies, while seeing the wood sink back into his body.
Looking down at himself, Naruto saw that he was completely covered in blood, before looking back at the bodies suspended by the roots. The whiskered blonde not noticing that two of the bodies happened to also be one of the other Academy teachers, Mizuki, and Hibachi's father.
Taking a step back, Naruto immediately started running away from the scene towards the Hokage Tower. Desperate to find the old man, who's possibly the only person who can help him at the moment. But unfortunately for Naruto, the blood covering him began dripping off leaving a trail from him all the way back to the alleyway. While the trail began fading the farther away Naruto got from the alley, it was still enough to start getting the attention of the Ninja currently out on patrol around the village. With those who went to investigate finding the scene of the massacre and following the trail, eventually putting two and two together.
While Naruto runs towards the Hokage Tower, passing by several people who all looked in horror at seeing the blood covered Uzumaki. With it not helping, that due to Naruto's status as the Kyūbi Jinchūriki being public knowledge, everyone was now thinking the demon finally showed its true colors.
Before Naruto could reach the Hokage Tower, he was suddenly forced to jump back when several Anbu jumped down and tried attacking him with their swords.
"St-stay back!" Naruto said, before crying out when several kunai and shuriken flew past him or cut into his body, as several Jōnin and Chūnin jumped in and began attacking him as well, including a vengeful Iruka and Tsubaki.
The two having learned about how Mizuki was found dead, with it not taking long to find out who was responsible. Given how quickly word spread of Naruto running through the village covered in blood, leaving a trail all the way back to the scene of the murders.
"I always knew you were a monster! And you've finally proved everyone right!" Iruka shouted, glaring Naruto, seeing he really was the same monster that killed his parents.
"I-I didn't mean to! It just happened!" Said Naruto in his defense, while dodging some of the attacks, while the wounds he gained started sealing themselves shut, being fully healed in seconds.
"Liar! You're nothing but a demon, and you'll pay for what you've done!" Screamed Tsubaki, charging Naruto with a kunai.
The boy's eyes widened in panic in fear, as he desperately tried dodging all the attacks. Thankfully being able to use his skills as a prankster to avoid their attacks, along with his body being enhanced by the Hashirama Cells, due to him unlocking the Mokuton. Using his skills and new physical abilities to escape his attackers, since he didn't want to end up hurting or killing anyone else. While seeing they were aiming to kill him, rather than just beat him up.
But while Naruto did have enhanced physical abilities, he didn't possess any training to properly use them. While his attackers were fully trained and experienced Ninja, leading to the Uzumaki soon being overwhelmed by them.
"GO AWAY!" Naruto yelled in fear and panic at the chance of dying, unconsciously calling on his Mokuton again.
Resulting in him summoning another pillar of wooden spikes shooting out of his body, impaling all of the Ninja attacking him, along with all the civilians either passing by or watching the events unfold. All of them hoping to see the demon finally be killed, after it showed its true colors. Only for them to die instead, as the wooden spikes stabbed through all of them.
Naruto shook in horror as he looked around at seeing he's now killed even more people with these powers.
'I have to get out of here!' Naruto thought in fear and panic as he began running towards the gates to escape the village, not wanting to hurt anyone else and knows that after what just happened and knowing not even the old man would be able to help him now.
The only thing he could do, was escape and hope he wasn't attacked again, leading to more people dying.
Thankfully, Naruto was able to run out of the village without any further incidents, given the majority of the Ninja were focused on the scenes of the two attacks. Leaving the whiskered blonde free to escape outside the village, with no worry of anyone chasing him again.
Running through the trees for a few moments, Naruto soon came across a path, where he saw a caravan traveling away from Konoha. Looking around to make sure no one was looking, Naruto made a break for one of the carriages and slipped inside, hiding amongst the items inside. The Uzumaki knowing he needed to get out of the Land of Fire if he wanted a chance to be safe from Konoha and anyone they might send after him.
And maybe, hopefully figure out what these wood powers he has are before he could hurt anyone else again.
*Timeskip-Five Months*
Five months have passed, since Naruto had awakened his new powers and abilities, along fleeing Konoha and the Land of Fire. The boy having begun traveling the Elemental Nations, while keeping his head down, to make sure he wasn't found by anyone from Konoha
During that time, Naruto had also begun trying to learn to control his wood-based powers, not knowing what they actually were, only that they seemed to react whenever he was in danger. With Naruto thankfully learning to control them after having strange dreams and memory flashes, showing two men that had the same powers as him. Only they seemed capable of using their wood powers on command, rather than them suddenly activating randomly.
With the memory flashes helping Naruto get control over his Mokuton, as he learned it was called, Kekkei Genkai and get a handle of the basics of it. Along with the basics of Water Chakra and Earth Chakra, the two elements that made up Mokuton.
As well as having learned some low level Mokuton, Water, and Earth Ninjutsu. Nothing too impressive, like the guys in his dreams were able to do. But enough, that Naruto was capable of defending himself, should the need arise.
Currently, Naruto was traveling through the Land of Lightning, not that he was aware of which country he was in, at the moment. Though the boy tensed when six bandits jumped out of hiding spots and surrounded him, with weapons in hand.
"Alright brat, hand over everything you have and maybe we won't have to hurt you." One of the bandits said smirking wickedly, with Naruto looking at them all warily.
"I really don't want to hurt you all, so if you'd kindly get out of my way." Said Naruto, preferring if he could avoid the fight since he still couldn't really control his Mokuton, and didn't want to risk it acting up again, which would only draw unnecessary attention onto him.
Though it seemed the bandits didn't share his sentiment, as they all started laughing at the idea of some kid being a threat to them. Hearing this, Naruto sighed hoping he could end this quickly, before making a handsign then slamming his hands on the ground.
"Earth Style: Earth Wave Jutsu!" Naruto said, as the ground began moving like a wave knocking the bandits off their feet at the sudden movement, while Naruto jumped up and went through more handsigns.
"Water Style: Wild Water Wave!" Said Naruto, before expelling a waterfall-like blast of water from his mouth, towards the bandits, that began washing them away from the Uzumaki.
Landing on the ground, Naruto hoped that would be the end of that, only to tense and jump out of the way, as he saw even more bandits show up, along with who he guessed as the leader. The leader being a guy with green hair and wearing a Konoha headband with a slash through the plate, showing he's a Missing-Nin.
This being Aoi Rokushō, a former instructor from Konoha, until he went rogue after stealing the Nidaime Hokage's Raijin no Ken.
"Hey, you're the Kyūbi Brat from Konoha. And just what are you doing all the way out here?" Aoi said smirking, while Naruto's eyes widened in fear, that this guy seemed to know who he was and knew he really needed to get away now.
"Water Release: Starch Syrup Capturing Field!" Naruto shouted, before releasing a highly viscosity water that covered the ground around the bandit's feet, catching a few of them in the sticky trap, while the rest and Aoi managed to avoid it.
Knowing he needed something to distract them, long enough for him to escape, Naruto went through handsigns again.
"Wood Style: Cutting Jutsu!" Said Naruto, before launching numerous wooden spears from his body at the trapped bandits, impaling them all at once.
While the remaining bandits and Aoi looked shocked at what they just saw, Aoi especially at seeing the Mokuton being used. Before the Missing-Nin smirked, knowing if he captured the brat, he could buy his way into joining any village he wanted. If he gave them not only the Kyūbi Jinchūriki, but also someone capable of using he Mokuton, like the Shodaime Hokage.
Looking to the brat, Aoi scowled when he saw he was gone, only to see a hole in the ground, making him smirk again.
"You might have surprised me with the Mokuton, you little brat, but you're still just a brat!" Aoi said, pulling out the Raijin and activating it, before stabbing the lightning sword into the ground, sending electricity coursing through it.
Leading to Naruto jumping out of the ground crying out as he was electrocuted, before Aoi jumped up and knocked him aside. With Naruto crashing into a rock, making him grunt in pain, before falling to the ground unconscious from the attacks.
"Hehehe, you're going to fetch a nice price, runt." Said Aoi, knowing he'll be able to get more than just a means to joining a new village, planning to get his money's worth out of the brat.
But before Aoi could grab Naruto, he and his bandits cried when they were suddenly blinded by a bright flash of light.
"Lightning Style: Flash Pillar!"
"Lightning Style: Black Panther!"
When the light began fading, Aoi's eyes widened in shock, when he saw a large panther made of black lightning tearing apart his bandits, jumping from one to another. Pulling out the Raijin to try and fight whoever was attacking them, Aoi let out a gurgle cry of pain, when a lightning covered arm impacted his neck and chest.
"Lightning Style: Lariat!"
Aoi was sent crashing into a boulder, with his entire chest having been blown open from the attack, dying soon after. While their attackers soon revealed themselves as three Kumogakure Ninja.
The first was a young man with dark eyes and short, blond hair, which he wears parted in the front. He wears the standard attire of the Kumo-nin: a sleeveless, black shirt with a one-strap-over-one-shoulder white flak jacket, black forehead protector, characteristic black, elbow-length arm-guards, and the red and white Kumogakure shin-guards along with a pair of sandals.
The second was a fairly tall, dark-skinned man with a slightly bulbous nose, black eyes that usually look bored, and shaggy, white hair which covers his left eye. He wears a high-collared, sleeveless uniform with loose fitting pants, bandages on his wrists and the one-strap-over-one-shoulder flak jacket of a Kumogakure shinobi. Along with having stylized kanji tattoos for water and lightning on his right and left shoulders respectively, along with a broad, foldable, cleaver-like sword, strapped to his back.
With the third man also having dark skin, along with a muscular build, as well as pale blonde hair and a goatee. On his right shoulder, he has a tattoo of the kanji for iron, while also having a tattoo of a bull's horn on his left cheek. Wearing oval-shaped sunglasses and a white-colored forehead protector, his village's standard one-strap-over-one-shoulder flak jacket, and a long, red rope belt tied around his waist, the standard Kumo hand and shin guards, shinobi sandals, a white scarf around his neck, and seven swords strapped to his back.
These were Darui, and C, the Raikage's personal guards, and Killer B, the Jinchūriki of the Hachibi and the Yondaime Raikage's brother.
The three having been in the area, after returning to Kumo from a mission, when they heard the sounds of fighting and went to investigate. Leading to them intervening when they saw bandits attacking someone.
The Kumo Ninja taking in the scene around them, before C and Darui went over to the bandits already dead, frowning at seeing just how they were killed.
"Is that…wood?" Darui asked, knowing for a fact the only way the bandits could have been killed by wood was from the Mokuton, which should be impossible.
"It appears so. Meaning whoever these bandits were fighting, it was a Konoha dog." Spat C, knowing only someone from Konoha could possess the Mokuton, likely from an attempt to create another Hashirama Senju.
Meanwhile B soon zeroed in on Naruto's unconscious form, before hearing the Hachibi, Gyūki, speak to him.
"B, that kid, I can sense the Kyūbi within him." Gyūki said, sensing its sibling's within Naruto.
'You sure bout that, Eight-o? Why would Mr. Nine be all the way out here?' B asked mentally.
"I'm not sure, but whatever reason, it's likely he was driven away from his village or ran away. It might be best to bring him back with us, in any case." Replied Gyūki, with B nodding in agreement, not wanting to leave a fellow Jinchūriki on their own.
With B being pulled from his thoughts, when he saw C approaching Naruto with a kunai, before being stopped by Darui.
"What do you think you're doing?" Darui said, narrowing his eyes, knowing exactly what C was about to do and wasn't about to just let him kill a defenseless kid.
"I'm killing the dog, before he can become a threat." C stated, knowing the boy was the one who possess the Mokuton and opted to kill him, before he could become a threat to Kumo in the future.
"Ain't nobody touching Nine-o, we'll bring him with us to talk to bro, yo!" Said B, getting in front of C.
"B is right, it'd be better to bring the kid back to Kumo and let the boss decide what to do." Darui said, with C making a "tsk" sound, but pocketed his kunai.
"Very well, we'll let Raikage-sama decide his fate." Said C relenting, with Darui and B nodding, as the Kumo Jinchūriki picking up Naruto, while Darui sealed away Aoi's body to collect his bounty and pocketed the Raijin.
With that, the trio continued on their way back to Kumogakure.
So, what did you think, good. Yep Naruto was experimented on by Orochimaru and Danzō in an attempt to recreate the Mokuton by infusing him with Hashirama's DNA, only for it to seemingly be a failure. Then timeskipping to when Naruto first fails the Graduation Exam, where he's attacked by a drunken mob, leading to him awakening the Mokuton in his anger killing everyone, with the boy being horrified at what he'd done, leading him to find the Sandaime to get help. Only to be attacked again when people find the scene of the murders and follow the blood trail Naruto left behind, leading to Naruto having to escape a second attack, before once again using his Mokuton to kill his attackers and anyone nearby. With Naruto now simply escaping Konoha to avoid being attacked again and hurting anyone else, before showing Naruto after five months, having gotten a good handle of the basics of his Mokuton along with some Earth and Water Ninjutsu, thanks to memory flashes he's had of Hashirama and Asura. With Naruto ending up in the Land of Lightning where he's attacked by bandits lead by Aoi Rokushō, with Naruto putting up a fight but is still defeated. But thankfully is saved by Darui, Killer B, and C arriving, with B finding out Naruto is a Jinchūriki as well, leading to them bringing him with them back to Kumo. Hello all Storm here with a new chapter! Here we'll be seeing Naruto being taken to Kumo and meeting with the Raikage, along with a few shocking revelations as well. So, without further ado.

After returning to Kumogakure, B had taken Naruto to the hospital, while Darui and C went to report to the Raikage of their completed mission, along with what happened on their way back to the village. With Naruto now resting in a hospital room with the Yondaime Raikage, A, leaning against the wall, observing the boy.
When A had first gotten the report of what happened, he had been shocked at learning about a kid possessing the Mokuton and was apparently already skilled enough to use it. Or at least capable of using the basics abilities of it, which was still impressive, given his age. But when he also got a description of the kid, A knew he had to see him for himself, to confirm his growing theory of just who he was.
And seeing the kid now, A knew without a doubt, just from his appearance alone, that the kid was the son of his rival and one of the few people to have his respect. Minato Namikaze, the Yondaime Hokage and Yellow Flash, along with being the only Ninja, who was capable of surpassing A in speed.
Though while this intrigued A, having never heard any news or rumors of Minato having son, what really had his attention, was the fact that the kid seemed to also possess the Mokuton.
'Could he somehow be related to Tsunade?' A thought, wondering if his former rival was somehow related to the last Senju, as that'd make Minato and by default his son, direct descendants of Hashirama Senju
Which would explain why the kid has it, if they'd have the potential to awaken the Mokuton.
Only to immediately dismiss that idea, given the fact Jiraiya was his teacher, Minato would have had to meet and interact with Tsunade at least a few times before. And as far as A knows, there was never an interaction between the two, that'd hint at Minato being Tsunade's son. Plus, A doubted that Tsunade would have left Konoha if she had a son there. Or at the very least, she would have taken Minato with her, rather than simply leaving him in Konoha.
'There's also that Uzumaki woman, Minato was close to.' A thought, having heard that Minato was close to, possibly in a relationship, with that Uzumaki they tried kidnapping back during his father's reign as the Sandaime Raikage.
That train of thought made A scoff, knowing the other Hidden Villages looked down on Kumogakure for how they stole village secrets and went back on promises, which included kidnapping people of interest. Whether they're from Ninja Clans or are talented Ninja of interest. With this being something, that all the Hidden Villages are guilty of.
Iwa, Suna, and Kiri, especially before the latter fell into the civil war, that's currently going on. Even Konoha was guilty of this, they're just more discrete about it, in order to maintain their image of the nicest Hidden Village.
And that's not even mentioning the Minor Villages, who are always looking for any advantage they can get over the Five Great Nations.
A shook his head of these thoughts, knowing he's starting to get off track, in his thoughts. Before shifting his train of thought back to the unconscious kid, that somehow has the Mokuton.
Given it's unlikely he's related to Tsunade, it's possible he gained the Mokuton from Kushina Uzumaki, due to the Uzumaki Clan's close ties to the Senju Clan. While it could be a stretch, given the distant blood relations, it was still a possibility for an Uzumaki to awaken the Mokuton.
Then there was the most obvious option, that Konoha was making another attempt at recreating Hashirama's feared Kekkei Genkai. Likely hoping the boy's Uzumaki Life-Force and Jinchūriki status would allow him to survive the process.
'Hmph, there really is no moral high ground, for any of the Hidden Villages.' A thought, knowing no matter what any of them claim, none of them could claim the moral high ground.
It's really just a matter of them trying not to get caught with certain acts, to the point of them developing a reputation for them.
But right now, all A has are guesses of how it's possible, and simply has to wait for the doctor to show up and confirm how the kid has the Mokuton. And as if summoned by his thoughts, the doctor walked into the room, getting the Raikage's attention.
"Alright doc, what's the verdict for how this kid has the Mokuton?" Asked A, with the doctor looking at their clipboard over the reports of the DNA tests.
"It's as we suspected Raikage-sama, the child does have the cells of Hashirama Senju infused into him. But that's where the strange part comes in, it seems that this boy seems uniquely compatible with them, to the point where they perfectly merged with his DNA. If it weren't the traces of foreign DNA, we probably wouldn't have been able to tell that he was infused with the Shodaime Hokage's cells. This has caused a chain reaction, to where it might be possible for the kid to be capable of using the Mokuton to the same extent as Hashirama Senju. Rather than a downgraded version, that'd be present, if such an experiment succeeded with anyone else. Not only that but given the unique compatibility he has with the cells, it's a very real possibility, he'd be able to pass the Mokuton down to his children, as well." The doctor explained, with A's head snapping towards him, as he looked at the doctor in shock.
"He could pass the Mokuton down to his children?!" Questioned A, not believing what he just heard.
For as long as anyone has known, none of Hashirama's descendants had ever shown the ability to use the Mokuton, not even his famed granddaughter. Everyone believing only Hashirama himself, and those with his cells implanted in them, could awaken the Mokuton. Now here A was, hearing of the possibility of it being awakened in this kids' children, as well.
"A strong possibility, yes. But Raikage-sama, I should also say, while it may be possible, it's unlikely it will awaken in all his descendants." The doctor added, lowering A's shock as he relented to that fact, knowing that only rare cases, like the Hyūga Clan, can consistently unlock the Kekkei Genkai in all of their members.
With that being part of the reason, why Kumo made their own bid at creating their own Hyūga Clan. It was supposed to be a simple mission, where they were supposed to kidnap a Main House Hyūga and blame the kidnapping on Iwa. Having already set it up, to make it look like an Iwa team snuck into the village and kidnapped a Hyūga.
With this allowing them to not only successfully create their own Hyūga Clan, but also still secure an alliance with Konoha as well.
Unfortunately, whether the former Head Ninja simply made a mistake, or got too ambitious for his own good, he ended up kidnapping the daughter of the Hyūga Clan Head, instead. Something, which definitely would have been noticed, as opposed to a random Main House Hyūga.
A was pulled from his thoughts again when he saw the kid starting to wake up.
When Naruto opened his eyes, the first thing he noticed was that he was in, what he guessed was a hospital room. Looking around, Naruto saw a doctor and a really buff looking guy. At first, Naruto was nervous at being around people, having taken to avoid being around anyone, after escaping Konoha, so he didn't hurt anyone with his abilities. The only thing helping him relax, was that they didn't seem to have any ill intentions towards him, at the moment.
"Where…where am I?" Naruto asked, wondering where he was at the moment, given the last thing he remembered was Aoi knocking him unconscious.
"You're in the Land of Lightning, Kumogakure to be more precise. I am A, the Yondaime Raikage." Answered A, making Naruto look at him in shock that he was in a Hidden Village.
"The Yondaime…Raikage? Does that mean you're like the Yondaime Hokage?" Asked Naruto, with the question making A chuckle.
"In a way." Replied A, knowing it wasn't exactly untrue, since he and Minato were contenders for the title of "Fastest Man Alive".
"Wow. It's nice to meet you sir, I'm Naruto Uzumaki." Naruto introduced, this confirming A's suspicions as to who his mother was, if he has the Uzumaki name.
"But how did I get here, anyway?" Naruto asked, wondering how he got to Kumo, not even knowing he was in the Land of Lightning to begin with.
"You were found by my brother, Killer B, and my guards, Darui and C, after they stumbled onto you being attacked by bandits." Answered A, as despite usually keeping his brother confined to the village, out of fear of losing him like their father, he still allowed B to go out on the occasional mission, every now and then.
As long as he was accompanied by other Ninja that A trusted, without question. While knowing if he kept his brother confined to the village all the time, it'd just encourage him to try and sneak out more.
"Now how exactly did you end in the Land of Lightning, all the way from Konoha?" A questioned, knowing that was the real mystery, how the kid got from Konoha, all the way here.
Given the fact he's both a Jinchūriki, the son of their late Hokage, and possesses the Mokuton, he'd think Naruto would have the same amount of protection as the Hokage himself. So, that eliminated the option that he was kidnapped, which still brought up the question of how he ended up here.
Hearing the question made Naruto flinch, as he remembered just what happened, before he reluctantly began telling the Raikage of how he first awakened his Mokuton. From the two attacks and killing everyone, fleeing Konoha, the memory flashes he has, and then encountering Aoi.
"I don't even know how I have the Mokuton, or who those guys in my dreams are. Only that I learned to do what I can, from watching them." Said Naruto, still not knowing how he even had the Mokuton, or who the two men his visions are.
Throughout the explanation, A scowled, while figuring that Naruto had been experimented on without his knowledge to recreate the Mokuton. Likely having been deemed a failure, after not instantly awakening it.
The Raikage not knowing just how close he was, to the truth.
And it seems that's now come back to bite Konoha, in their collective asses, when Naruto's emotional turmoil reached its breaking point from their abuse. With A being especially angry at his treatment, due to being a Jinchūriki, given his brother was also a Jinchūriki, who suffered similar prejudices, before becoming regarded as a hero from his actions in the Third Shinobi War.
A then took a moment to study Naruto's downtrodden expression, knowing he'll likely never hear the end of it. Given what he's about to do would forever alter the power balance of the Hidden Villages, but out of respect for Minato and seeing how easily B could have ended up in a situation like this, the Raikage will accept the consequences.
"Well, since you don't really have anywhere to return to, how about you stay here in Kumo. You can become an official citizen and join the Ninja Academy." Offered A, making the whiskered blonde look at him in surprise, having not expected such an offer.
Taking a moment to think about it, as Naruto could see the benefits of accepting such an offer, since he doesn't have anywhere to go to. Nor does he want to spend the rest of his life dodging Konoha's attempts to find him. With this, he'd finally have somewhere to stay, along with getting a chance to become a Ninja, again. It also helped that so far, the Yondaime Raikage has been nice to him.
"Okay, I accept." Naruto replied, with A nodding as he pushed himself off the wall.
"Alright, then let's get you out of here, we'll head up to my office, where I'll get the necessary papers drawn up." Said A, with Naruto nodding, as he got out of the hospital bed and followed the Raikage out of the room.
Once they were out of the hospital and began making their way to the Raikage Tower, Naruto couldn't help, but look around in amazement. Seeing just how different Kumo was compared to Konoha, with how the village was built in a range of mountains and was literally hidden by the clouds.
The two soon reached the Raikage Tower and walked inside to the Raikage's Office, where a woman sat at a desk outside the door.
She was a dark-skinned young woman with green eyes. She wore very formal attire, consisting of a long-sleeved, high-collared dress shirt and skirt, along with a pair of long earrings and high-heel sandals. She had her light grey hair, pulled back into a bun with two bangs that fall on either side of her face.
"Mabui, have Yugito come to office as soon as she can." A said to his assistant, with Mabui nodding, while glancing at Naruto curiously.
"Hai Raikage-sama." Replied Mabui, before writing a message to send to Yugito, while A and Naruto entered the office.
Upon entering it, Naruto saw just how different it was compared to the Hokage's Office.
Where as the Hokage's Office had a desk, a chair, some bookshelves, and pictures of all the past Hokage. The Raikage's Office had a couch and what looked like a footrest, along with some workout equipment, and a painting with the kanji for "muscle".
A sat down and pulled out some papers, to get Naruto registered as a citizen of Kumogakure and to get him enrolled into the Academy.
"Alright, that's done. Now all that's left is for you to be assigned a guardian, and they should be here any mo-" A said, only to stop, when a swirl of blue and black flames appeared, shocking Naruto, before the flames vanished, revealing a woman.
The woman looked to be in her early twenties, and had long, straight, blonde hair bound with taut bandages, dark eyes and wore red lipstick. Her attire consisted of a short-sleeved black and purple blouse and black pants, both of which had a design similar to clouds on them, purple fingerless gloves and a chain of blue beads wound around her left hand. She also wore the standard Kumogakure forehead protector, sandals, and a kunai holster, which was strapped to her right thigh. She also had bandages around her arms and legs, as well as a red belt around her waist.
This was Yugito Nii, the Jinchūriki of the Nibi.
"You wished to see me, Raikage-sama?" Yugito asked, having immediately Shunshined here, after getting Mabui's message.
"Yes Yugito, you actually arrived just in time. Naruto, this is Yugito Nii, your new guardian. Yugito this is Naruto Uzumaki, your ward." A said, with the two Jinchūriki looking at the Raikage in surprise at hearing this.
"Uh, Raikage-sama, are you sure that I'm a good choice to look after some kid? Given my status." Questioned Yugito, knowing if she had to look after Naruto, that'd cut into her responsibilities as a Kunoichi, plus she knew she wasn't exactly mother or sister material, given her Jinchūriki status.
"It's because of you being the Nibi Jinchūriki, that I'm entrusting you with this assignment. Given that Naruto is the Jinchūriki of the Kyūbi, along with being the son of Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki. That makes you one of the few people I can trust to look after him." A said, with Yugito being shocked by this information, at the fact that Naruto wasn't only a Jinchūriki as well, but also the son of two of the strongest Ninja in history.
With one of them being the only person, who surpassed the Raikage in speed.
"Wh-what?" Naruto asked, looking at the Raikage in shock and disbelief, making A and Yugito look at the boy, seeing his expression at what the Raikage just said.
"You did know about your status and your parents?" Asked A, frowning, while understanding why it'd be prudent to keep the boys heritage a secret from the rest of the nations, given the enemies his parents made in their lives.
He assumed that the Sandaime Hokage had at least told the kid who they were, along with his Jinchūriki status, given the rest of Konoha knew about the latter. But given the Uzumaki's expression, the Raikage realized he never knew at all, making A shake his head that Hiruzen Sarutobi let a child go through life, never knowing who his parents are, nor about the burden he carried.
"The old man he…he said…he didn't know…that it…it wouldn't bring back…the dead…" Naruto muttered in shock and betrayal, as any remaining ties he had to Konoha were completely destroyed over this revelation.
Naruto looked up when he felt Yugito's hand on his shoulder, seeing the older Jinchūriki giving him an understanding look.
"I won't pretend to understand exactly what you're going through, but what I do know is that as Jinchūriki, we have a heavy burden placed on us. Not just from the Bijū sealed into us, but also the prejudice, pain, and loneliness that comes with it. If there's one thing I've learned, is that you can either accept the hand you've been dealt and grow stronger from it, or you can wallow in self-pity and misery. Now I know this is all sudden, but ask yourself, are you going to allow these revelations to pull you down, or will you use them to push yourself forward and grow from them?" Yugito asked, understanding part of Naruto's pain, given how both she and B suffered from the stigma of being Jinchūriki, with both of them pushing past it and growing stronger from their experiences, and now were regarded as guardians of Kumo.
Naruto looked at Yugito in surprise, looking down for a moment, before looking up at the woman.
"I want to be strong." Naruto answered, with Yugito nodding and patted him on the shoulder.
"Then I can help you." Stated Yugito, before looking back at A.
"With your leave Raikage-sama, I'll take Naruto home with me and help him get settled in." Yugito said, with the Raikage nodding.
"Granted, good luck to both of you." Replied A, with the two Jinchūriki nodding, before Yugito placed a hand on Naruto's shoulder and they both vanished in a swirl of blue and black flames.
With Naruto's new life in Kumogakure officially beginning.
So, what did you think, good. Yep A has seen Naruto for himself and knows he's the son of his old rival Minato, along with having some guesses as to how he has the Mokuton. We also see some of his thoughts, such as knowing how the other Hidden Villages see Kumo for their past dubious actions, but knowing all the Hidden Villages, even Konoha, are guilty of the same crimes. Along with how the Hyūga Kidnapping was supposed to go, since it honestly doesn't make sense that they'd target the Hyūga Heiress specifically, given the attention that would get, rather than say a random Main House Hyūga. Also A may be OOC with his views on Jinchūriki being nothing but tools, since that doesn't make sense either given his brother is a Jinchūriki. Anyway, Naruto eventually wakes up and after speaking with A, he's offered the chance to stay in Kumo and join the Ninja Academy, which Naruto accepts. Leading to the two going to the Raikage's Office where Naruto is officially registered as a citizen of Kumo, along with being assigned Yugito as a guardian, along with the revelations of his heritage and Jinchūriki status.
