Chapter 30: Water 7 Battle Part 2: CP9 Falls
On the bottom of the ocean floor.
Saizou
A Spotted Eagle Ray Fishman
Member of the New Fishman Pirates.
He was tall and slim yet handsome, the front of his body was white while the back of his body was black with a few white spots. He was also wearing brown pants, a black-leader jacket, and brown hair that reached his neckline from the back with strong legs. He wore no foot wear neither.
He was at the Fishman District, sitting on a large rock.
"To think I would arrive here in time," He said, holding a few wanted posters, but only of female humans. "These human girls look tasty, I hope to have some fun with them." He looked at a poster of Cat Burglar Nami. "Nami, I hope to see she gets here, though it doesn't matter which one I captured, I'll be having some company with these tasty humans."
"Hey!" The Eagle Ray Merman looked to see who was calling out to him. "What'd you doing here, hiccup..."
Hyouzou
Octopus-Merman
Swordsman
Member of the New Fishman Pirates.
He was drinking a bottle of wine. "Gulp...gulp... Hordy wants you to help us stay guard outside of Fishman Island."
Saizou scoffed in annoyance, also displeased that his moment was being interrupted. "Whatever, I'll be there, I just hope there are some females that I can play with."
Izou was weirded out. "Gee, can you think about...hiccup... anything else besides women?" He spoke in a hiccup tone.
Somewhere deep the pitch blackness of the ocean.
The Flying Dutchman ship.
"Ha ha ha," A voice chuckled. "Shiraoshi, my fair princess and future wife, I suspect that you will be my bride someday, I hope that you'll take accept my love which I suspect you will."
"Sir, we got some news," A Fishman grunt said.
"What is it?" The voice asked.
"It seems that Saizou has returned," The Fishman grunt replied.
The Fishman captain of the Flying Dutchman's laughable face went upside down, feeling displeased at the news. "Saizou, that perverted Fishman is back."
"Yes, sir, luckily Hordy has Saizou guarding outside of Fishman Island!" The Fishman replied, noticing his captain's unhappy reaction.
"Good, report if he tries to sneak on Fishman Island, I don't want that pervert laying his fingers on my Shirahoshi!" The captain yelled looking very serious.
"Yes, sir!" The Fishman grunt saluted and left in a flash.
Back at Water 7
Dock One
Elfman, Lisanna, and Mirajane were helping gather extra wood in case their new ship got damaged or holes.
"Manly work!" Elfman shouted carrying a large amount of wood.
"Be careful big brother, don't overdo it," Lisanna chuckled nervously.
Mirajane just smiled as usual. "Gee, he always keeps working hard."
Aquapad arrived with a toolbox. "I got the tools we'll need for our voyage!"
Lisanna smiled. "Good job, Aquapad, give me a hand with these bags of food too, we'll deliver them to the secret warehouse that Franky and his family hang out in."
"Right!" Aquapad replied with a nod.
"Mira, Elfman, you two go on and contact the others that aren't keeping the navy busy, then tell them to meet Franky Family House."
Her older siblings nodded and went their way.
In the Franky secret warehouse.
Zambai along with some Galley-La and Franky Family members, things were almost set for the ship to sail.
"This ship is almost ready!" Tilestone roared out excitedly.
"Geez, don't be so loud!" Paulie yelled comically.
Mest saw the high spirited these people had, they remind him of his Fairy Tail guildmates.
Mozu and Kiwi were getting the sails ready, making sure the ropes connected it was tied up tightly.
"The Sea Fairy is almost ready!"
"Yes, the ship shall make a name through the sea!"
Zambai smiled at the ship. "I wish Franky was here to see this."
"Brother Franky, we miss him!" Schollzo cried out in crocodile tears.
"Big bro, I wish you could've seen us build another pirate flagship!" Kop added in tears of joy.
Paulie was approached by Zambai, as he lit a cigar. "Heh, heh, talk about memories of us working the Thousand Sunny, heh-" He stopped as he noticed the attire that the two square sisters were wearing. "Hey, show some decency, you two hussies!"
"All is left, for the others to bring the tools and wood they'll need in case the ship gets damaged!" Tamagon stated.
"Right, we'll just wait for the three fairies to get here!" Kiev added.
"We'll go outside and keep an out for them!" The three Kairki Destroyers announced wielding their weapons.
Shipbuilding Island
Laxus and his team continued their fight against the new CP9 agents.
Evergreen still flying in the air. "Fairy Machine Gun: Leprechaun!"
Countless needles of light appeared in front and rained down upon her opponent Haley.
Haley used her Shave technique to dodged the needles of light with ease.
Nevertheless, Evergreen continued to use her previous move again and again.
"Geez, you are so bad at your aiming," Haley said with a mockery expression. "Check this out."
She leaped up into the air, however, she began to walk up in mid-air. "Moon Walk!"
Evergreen couldn't what she was seeing. "She's walking on the air." Seeing that was another move of the Six Powers, she smiled impressively. "I admit that move is something and resourceful too."
"Yes, but this is only the begin!" Haley then aimed her feet straight down and began to stomp her feet rapidly, unleashing countless lights that took multiple shapes of feet. "Moon Stomp!"
Evergreen evaded the attacks but one of her wings got barely scratched by the light-shaped feet. "Damn, that hurt..."
Haley smirked seeing the painful reaction from the woman. "I see that your flight agility is quite resourceful too, if you didn't have that speed, you probably wouldn't be able to dodge my attack."
However to her confusion, Evergreen was just smiling. "You think I'd go down by some weird feet of yours?" She questioned with a scoff.
Haley's eyes were wide with anger, narrowing her eyes towards the woman, Evergreen continued. "Then your mind is more twisted than your freaky make-up."
"That does it," Steam was burning from the CP9 agent. "I will make an old skank as you suffer!"
Evergreen was angrier at that comment. "I'd say that same to you, you bragging make-up brat!"

Natsu, Happy, and Fujika were running towards the rocky cape.
"What is our task?" Natsu questioned.
"Gee, Natsu, figured you weren't listening!" Happy said, not surprised. "We're here to keep an eye out of any navy ships, no doubt that Kizaru or the vice-admiral you beat is probably close by."
"He's right, we'll have alerted the others if we see them, with your sense of hearing, we might be able to find out where they are, once we do, we'll contact the others, and use this ship as a decoy," Fujika said, explaining more of their task.
B
"Fairy Machine Gun: Leprechaun!" Evergreen unleashed more countless needles of light in front of her enemy once again.
"Shave!" Haley used her speed technique to evade the countless lights, but one of them scratched her face, which bled a little.
"That should hurt," Evergreen commented with a small smile.
Haley wiped her face with her fingers and licked the blood. "Been so long since an enemy manage to a lay a scratch on my pretty face." She had a creepy wide grin on her face, wielding her bat again.
Evergreen saw her gold dust spreading more around she was firing her attack, smiling, she decided to keep up the attack.
She unleashed more countless needles of light, Haley kept evading the attack using her Shave and Moon Walk skills. "You aim so badly old woman." She laughed in a mockery tone. "You'll wear yourself out sooner or later, when that happens, I'll finish you off."
Evergreen let out a soft giggle. "On the contrary..." Haley's eyebrows rose in confusion. "The only is going to be finished off...is...YOU!"
"Fairy Bomb: Gremlin!" The gold gust ignited and streams of powerful explosions overtook the CP9 agent girl, the attack seemingly overtook her which made her fall on her back.
Haley wasn't done yet, she attempted to use the last of her strength, her metal bat became black as the night. "Armament Haki: Metal Batter!"
Evergreen was impressed by this but was confused about what the agent did. "Quite impressive, what was that you just did to your bat?"
Haley just smiled manically. "Something that you'll see for the last time!" She used her shave ability to appear in front of Evergreen at close range.
Taking a swing with her black metal bat, Evergreen quickly evaded the attack, but her side was scratched a little, causing her to kneel on one knee. "That stung good."
Haley then stood before her enemy. "Yes, next I'll smash your head like a pumpkin." She prepared to take another swing at the woman.
Suddenly a bright gleam of light was beginning to be unleashed, Evergreen's wings spread out despite the damage she received. "Time for my new attack, Fairy Beam: Sparkling Flash!"
An enormous bright gleam of light was released by Evergreen's entire body.
"AAAHHH!" Haley screamed as the light engulfed her body.
The attack was so overwhelming that it sent the female agent flying onto the ground, making her slide across to a building wall and crashed through it.
The crash created a lot of smoke and rubble to fall.
Haley was shown as the smoke and rubble stopped falling, there she was lying on the ground knocked out cold, her eye pupils gone.
Evergreen looked down at the girl. "You were worthy an opponent, but your lack of morality is something that I don't respect, either way, you should work on that sense of justice if you have."
She walked away, hoping to meet with her leader Laxus and her team.
Bickslow continued his fight with Bonz an old agent.
"I must say old-timer, you're quite strong than I thought," Bickslow said, with a big grin. "Been so long since I faced tough enemies."
Bonz hated to agree, but he smirked. "Yes, but it's been so long since I fought such youth like you, but I'm just getting warmed up."
He pumped up his body with 4 pack muscle. "This is a technique Body Skill: Bulk Pump!"
Bickslow laughed seemingly impressed. "Not bad old man, is that one of the six powers?"
Bonz chuckled a little. "Not quite, my family's bloodline was that clan of a strong force martial artists that were known to heritage special physical strength, enable to increase our strength, brute superhuman strength to be exact." The old man added with a dark whisper. "We are known to slay any pirate or anyone that opposes the navy or the government."
Bickslow was disgusted at the statement. "So that means, slaying anyone from the navy, am I right?"
A dark look soon appeared on the old government agent's face. "Right, those that flee from the battlefield are considered criminals, the world has no such weaklings that cause shame and disgrace to the world, wouldn't you agree?"
Just then a magic energy beam fired directly at Bonz, he evaded the beam using his speed agility, but just as he was about to speak, Bickslow spoke out. "The only one that's disgraceful and causing shame is you."
Bonz's eyebrow rose as he narrowed his eyes towards the young wizard. "Hmm?" He wondered.
"You guys go around with this justice crap, using justice as an excuse for murder, showing no sign of remorse or sympathy towards those you hurt or kill is inhumane," Bickslow spoke out, with a look of seriousness, he placed his hand on his mask.
"I think your old mind is clouded by justice, that blinds you to the truth."
Bonz just chuckled in amusement. "Big words from criminals like you and your friends, sonny, the world here is where law rules, at least it once did, due to the pirate activity and another criminal that's happening these days is grows more and more intense."
Bickslow was silent for a moment.
"So there are times when you have to be merciless at time." He added in a darker tone.
Bickslow gritted his teeth as he gripped his mask. "Even so, if humanity doesn't exist it'll be like going back to the stone age."
He began to slowly remove his mask off as he continued to speak. "Where mercy isn't an option, only darkness and misery are only things on earth."
"As a member of Fairy Tail, I have something to say to you world government guys-" His mask was removed revealing his face, his eyes glowed green, his face showing manically expression, and had a mohawk hairstyle along with a tattoo of a stylized man extending his long, curved arms outwards.
"Fairy Tail won't ever back down from a fight unless necessary, anyone that hurts people like yourselves and using justice as a pathetic excuse is a monster!"
Bickslow stuck out his tongue out while laughing maniacally, which took the old man by surprise. "I will see that you'll wish you never messed with my friends!" His eight dolls appeared above him. "Let's give this old geezer a beaten that he'll never forget, right babies!"
"Right right!" The dolls chatted loudly.
Bonz recollected his composure, then did a stance. "Then I'll show you my full power!" He pumped up his body which made his muscle bigger and bulker. "Bulk Up: Strength Up!"
"You think you can scare me with a little bulk up?" Bickslow questioned still in his manic state. "Let's end this old timer!"
"My name is Bonz sonny boy!" The old agent yelled in annoyance.
"Babies, Baryon Formation!" All of Bickslow's dolls position themselves in a pentagonal pattern.
A large whirlwind produced around the formation, and from the latter's hollow center a massive and powerful beam was generated, which subsequently fired towards the old government agent.
"I can take this," Bonz thought. "Iron Body." His body tensed up, but he wasn't done yet. "Spinning Kick!" He began to spin around with one foot spread out and rapidly spinning towards the magic beam.
The magic beam and the elder agent collided, the attacks were seemingly matched, but it was probably due to the Iron Body technique that Bonz just used.
The defense motion was seemingly blocked against Bickslow's attack, a flashback soon flowed into his mind.
Back at the Blue Pegasus Guild.
Bickslow was feeling down a little, he was talking with Freed and Evergreen. "Guys, do you think Laxus was down than he was when he woke up?"
"Where is this coming from?" Evergreen questioned, a little surprised.
"I take it that you guys were probably feeling the pain that Laxus was feeling, his words were sad and hinting that he felt powerless, he ended bedridden with us, we underestimated our opponents, that nearly cost us our lives," Bickslow explained, looking a little down still.
Freed had to agree. "Yes, I too felt that when he inhaled the bane particles, but what mostly hurt that I couldn't stop him, even though he said that I wouldn't be able to talk him out of it." He sighed with his eyes closed, his face showing dullness and powerlessness.
"But..." Bickslow looked at the Ruine magic-user teammate. "You know, we'll keep getting stronger not only to protect Laxus but our friends as well, we're the Thunder Legion, we'll keep stronger and stronger, that way we don't end up in the same situation as we did before!"
Present.
"I know that to keep stronger, we have to keep pushing!" Bickslow's magic beam was seemingly increasing.
Bonz was feeling more pain than he was before. "What's this, the beam, its power is increase, how can that be?" He wondered, his body was starting to slow down.
"Babies, it's time we show our full power!" Bickslow proclaimed with sheer determination in his eyes. "Now it's time I show my: Figure Eyes!"
The magic beam disappeared as Bonz's attack stopped but barely, and as soon as the agent's eyes made direct contact with Bickslow's glowing green eyes and his body giving off an aura.
Bonz was trying to figure out what his opponent was doing. "Damn it, what is this maniac bastard doing?" He then shook his head. "No matter, I'll just have to use my-" He attempted to move, but his body wouldn't budge an inch. "Hmm? What is this, I can't move, what'd you do sonny?"
"My Figure Eyes allows me to control living things as if they were my babies," Bickslow replied with his manic expression. "Now that you're wide open, I shall finish you off with a new attack!"
"Triangle Formation!" The five dolls position themselves in a triangle-like pattern.
The dolls fired a little of their magic from their doll-like hands that were produced in the center of their formation, only this time a massive green-like triangle pattern was fired from within the center of the dolls.
The attack landed a direct hit on the entire body of Bonz, making him cough out saliva and feeling the intense blow throughout his body causing nearby explosions of smoke and shockwaves.
As soon as the smoke cleared the old agent was standing, Bickslow gritted his teeth for the moment but then grinned. "No bad old-timer, but I guess you're stronger than I thought..." He was about to use one of the old formation attacks but noticed the agent geezer wasn't moving, let alone saying a peep.
Bonz's eyes rolled back as he fell on his stomach, unconscious with no eye pupils, his body covered in bruises and blood dripping from his forehead.
Bickslow sighed in relief, then a smirk appeared on his face. "Heh, heh, see ya, old-timer," He ran off to meet up with the others.
Back at Freed and Shido's fight.
Freed was in his Dark Ecriture: Absolute Shadow form while Shido was in his ancient mythical monster form, the Griffin.
Their attack left them both in surprise, but end up smiling. "That attack is quite strong, I can see why you are members of CP9," Freed commented.
"Flattery won't save you, young man," Shido snickered with a wide creepy smirk. "My Griffin form is very lethal when in combat, and the attack you saw was just the beginning!"
Shido flapped his wings creating energy blades from them. "Wing Blade X!" The air blades formed into an "X".
Freed stopped the attack with his shadow-like hands, barely holding it steady, the attack was causing him to slide back a little, but he tossed the attack over his head which sliced a building into several pieces.
Freed looked at his hands, seeing little cuts and scratches. "That attack was powerful," He thought, realizing that zoan types can be more powerful, especially when it's used by someone that knows how to control the power.
"Not bad, but how about this!" Shido's sharp beak transformed into metal-like steel. "Armament Haki: Metal Beak!" He soared down towards Freed with incredible speed.
Freed was able to use his speed to dodge the incoming attack, but then he felt a pain on his arm, which had a small scratch and bled a little. "Damn..." He covered his arm with a piece of cloth.
"That's the power of Armament Haki, not only can I use it as a weapon, but I can also it as a shield!" Freed rushed towards the Griffan/hybrid man and collided himself against the perverted agent.
A faint smile appeared on Shido's face. "Nice try, but not good enough." He transformed his beak into metal, thanks to his Armament Haki, due to being at point close range, one attack on the head could do a lot of damage on Freed's head.
The only option was to catch the attack, Freed used his speediness in his arms to catch Shido's beak, thus stopping the attack, but barely, the armament Haki was indeed formidable and powerful.
Freed's white boots began to sink into the ground, using this chance he tossed the agent aside and sending him crashing into a building's wall.
CRASH
The wall had a huge hole, the rumbles from the parts of the building were falling apart, the entire building was making sounds like it could collapse if another throw or attack like that happened again.
Freed knew he had to end this quickly, the others are sure to be done with their fights soon. "I need to defeat this government bastard and quickly." He knew had to think of something, first, he knew the Armament Haki was strong and was able to make a perfect defense and reduce damage.
He remembered the river, if he could get some water on the ground in a certain place, he could deal double the damage with his Electric Shockwave. "I think I have a plan, but it won't be easy."
He reverted to his human self. "Dark Ecriture: Wings!" He attained a pair of rune-composed wings. "Now Dark Ecriture: Darkness!"
He turned himself into a massive demonic creature.
Shido was in disbelief. "What monstrous deity am I looking at?" He wondered.
Freed used his agility to deliver countless physical punches and kicks to Shido's body, dealing more damaging.
Shido feeling the pain, but he was able to reduce the damage using his Armament Haki.
Freed jumped back and into the river. "Darkness Breath!" He charged up dark energy and mold it into the shape of a highly destructive tornado, which not only damaged the perverted agent but engulfed his entire body in river water.
The water affected the agent's devil fruit powers.
"Now's my chance!" Freed reverted to his human self, then he transformed into his Absolute Shadow form.
Moving quickly, he produced a large, electric orb from his right and punched the ground where it was soaking wet including Shido himself, the electrical orb created a large amount of electricity which shocked the agent and seriously damaging him.
"AAAHHH!" Shido screamed in agony and pain.
His Griffin form began to reverse back into his human form and collapsed on his back, barely breathing.
Shido was almost losing consciousness. "Pant...pant...pant..." He breathed heavily, his body seriously injured, covered in scratches and electrical burns.
Freed reverted to his human self again. "Finally, I won." He whispered, he put his rapier back in his sheath.
He was about to leave, a low voice came from the agent. "Tell me...boy..." Freed didn't turn, but he stopped to listen. "What is it that you criminals are trying to accomplish, surely you guys realize there is no place for people like you."
Freed hissed at the words he heard but sighed calmly. "My friends and I treat like family, we're just trying to reunite and go home, we have only one place we belong, but that's something even you government guys wouldn't understand, it's people like you that are forgetting about human life and morality that you guys probably once knew, but I doubt it."
Shido chuckled in amusement. "You're quite a strange guy, but you still have to long way to go to survive."
Freed began to walk away but he had one more thing to say. "Then it's a good thing my friends and I don't plan on surrendering to the likes of you agents or the navy."
Shido was soon unconscious with his eyes closed, a faint smile was shown on his face like he was remembering something.
An image of a woman with long dark brown hair and wearing the agent uniform appeared in his mind. "Shido, remember mommy's words, that humanity needs to survive otherwise things will get dark, you have a task to deal justice in your way."
Uncharacteristically a tear was forming in the agent's eyes. "Mom..."
Freed was somehow feeling a strange feeling from the agent. "Strange world this is." He whispered as he soon ran off in the opposite direction.
M
Laxus was dealing with Marth, the leader of CP9.
Marth transformed into a Velaciraptor.
Laxus got a bite mark on his left arm. "That guy can bite for a human, then again it was his new transformation." He said with a scowl.
"I can use this transformation in different ways, if you continue to survive this fight, you'll see what more I can do," Marth said in a dark tone.
Laxus gritted his teeth. "You think I'll die so easily at the hands of agent bastard like you." His entire body had electrical surges appear. "I think you have it backward punk."
He raised his clenched fist in the air. "Raging Bolt!" A large bolt of lightning descended upon the raptor agent hybrid.
"Shave!" Marth whispered as he vanished again.
Laxus hissed in annoyance. "Damn, not that again." He remembered something, I know I can use the aura sensor, even though it senses magic, it can sense a person's aura.
Laxus focused on what he heard of the Aura sensor, he then felt a presence coming behind him.
He transformed his own body into electricity, turning himself into a lightning bolt, he dodged the 2nd bite from the agent and maneuvering himself against the agent's body.
The lightning body impact was enough to deal some damage to the agent Marth.
Marth fell on his reptilian-like stomach, however, he eventually stood back up. "You got some endurance, I have to admit I'm impressed," Laxus said with his arms crossed returning to normal.
"Your powers are something, I'll give you that," Marth smirked evilly. "But in the name of absolute justice, I shall never submit to criminals like yourself, you and your friends are no match for CP9."
Laxus chuckled a bit. "Please, I heard that before, some old enemies said that and we kicked their asses, but I won't deny our past opponents were no pushovers."
Marth let out a snarl at the wizard. "Hiss... Allow me to show you another power." He used to shave again. "Finger Pistol Claw!"
Luckily Laxus used his lightning body mode to maneuver himself away, just in the nick of time. "That was quick." He commented.
"Finger Pistol is one of the six powers, also quite lethal like shooting a pistol gun, using it while in a transformation like this can deal more damage," Marth explained gesturing with his claws.
Laxus had to admit that was true, if he gets jab by the agent's claws, then that could leave him vulnerable.
"Shave!" Marth disappeared again and appeared in front of Laxus. "Tail Swap!" He swung his tail at the wizard, slamming it against his body.
"I hoping you'd do that," Laxus whispered as he engulfed one of his fists in lightning. "Lightning Dragon's Iron Fist!"
He punched the target causing sheer blunt damage to the agent's dinosaur-like tail, the attack also made contact through the agent's entire body. "Cough...cough...' Marth coughed loudly. "You're quite the formidable that I thought, so I think it's time to take this to the next level."
Laxus didn't like the sound of that, wondering what the agent was going to do next.
Marth used the Life Return Paper Art Fighting(Life/Existence Return: Paper Drawing Martial), making his reptilian form smaller and more human including standing more like a man, though he still has his reptilian skin. "This shall increase my speed even more."
He was right, the moment he used Shave again, his speed increased.
Laxus seeing the improved speed, knew things have gotten more difficult, but he just smiled. "Things have gotten more fun.
The two started to throw punches at each other and kick, both suffering some minor damages done to their bodies.
Despite the intense brawling, the two were barely breaking a sweat.
"I have enough of these games, I think it's time we end this now," Lauxs suggested looking bored.
Marth couldn't agree more. "Yes, I shall reverse this transformation..." He reversed his transformation back to a fully formed Velociraptor.
"Let's finish this!" Marth roared as he sped towards Laxus, increasing his speed with Shave.
Only this time, Laxus didn't have enough time to dodge using his lightning body mode, this time his left arm was bitten as blood was starting to drip.
Laxus gritted his teeth in pain. "You sure can bite, these Zoan types can be more lethal than I could see." He commented in a painful tone.
"I enjoy taking a bite of criminals, even though you don't have a bounty, I consider those that helped wanted people criminals too," Marth informed while continuing to maul his fangs into Laxus' arm. "Those that I have slain were mostly pirates and bandits, all of them die like an animal mauling its prey or foe."
Laxus' looked to the corner of his eye seeing, a large barrel of water. "Yeah, well then consider I shall not be one of those criminals to fall to such evil monster like yourself!" He used an electrical shock to crack the nearby container which leaked out water and got their feet wet.
"Water?" Marth questioned.
Laxus used his hands to grip the agent's body tightly and slammed him into the ground where the water spilled.
The impact of the slam was enough to release Laxus from Marth's jaw, seeing his chance, he decided to deliver the final blow. "GET READY FOR A LIGHTNING DRAGON'S ROAR!" He unleashed his lightning breath attack on the ground.
Just as Marth stood back up, barely standing, the attack caused an electrical torrent that engulfed his entire body.
"AAAHHHH!"
Marth's eyes begun to roll back as his transformation was started to reverse back into a human, and he fall on his stomach.
Laxus smiled, his arms were still bleeding a bit. "I need to get these bandaged up, but first I must find the others."
"We're here!" Freed, Evergreen and Bickslow were approaching him.
"Laxus, you're injured!" Evergreen cried out in worry.
"We need to get you to a doctor!" Freed suggested just as shocked seeing his leader injured like this.
"Yeah, let's get him bandaged up," Bickslow agreed. "Right babies!"
