Chapter 31: Water 7 Battle Part 2: Shu and T Bone

Somewhere on the Grand Line

Zoro was sleeping, for Perona a former member of Moria's crew was on the lookout. "Horo-horo-horo-horo-horo!" She laughed in her unique way. "Talk about a beautiful day."

Just then a newscoo flew over the pair and dropped a newspaper below. "A newspaper." She caught it and handed over a coin to the bird, which it took.

She sat down and read the first page. "Huh?" She saw a picture of a straw hat, or rather someone that looked like him. "Horo-Horo-Horo, he let himself go!" She shouted comically with her eyes popping out and her mouth gaping open.

Zoro heard this, slightly began to open his eyes. "Ugh, what with the ruckus?" He groaned in annoyance rubbing his eyes.

Nami continued down with the hot air balloon, as she read a newspaper she got a while back and was pondering on a single detail that was on the front page, which was the fake Luffy. "This is weird, how come this fat man is claiming to be Luffy."

Sanji continued on Ivankov's ship with the cross-dressing men, he was outside on the deck reading the newspaper as well, he wasn't very pleased with what he was reading.

"Damn, this bastard has got some nerve, when I find him, I'll kick his ass,"

Robin read the newspaper on the rebel's ship's deck. "Hmm, so this man claims to be Luffy." She observed the imposter. "Fortunately, I ain't buying that man's word, though, why is he pretending to be Luffy?"

Chopper didn't get the newspaper due to being emotionally distracted but mostly excited, he was still riding on the large bird. "Luffy, everyone, I'm almost at Sabaody, I can't wait to see you guys!" He cried in crocodile tears of joy.

Levy, Lily, and Pango eventually reunite with Laxus and his team.

"Laxus, what happened to your arm?" Lily asked in shock, seeing the bite marks on the Lightning mage's arm.

Laxus placed his hand on his arm. "It's nothing, I'll be fine, where are the others?"

"Yukino and Kagura went ahead onto Galley-La Headquarters, the second headquarters that is, Erza and the others are keeping the Navy busy," Levy answered. "Anyway, I think it's best we three go and make sure Yukino and Kagura are fine."

"I agree," Lily said. "Laxus, you and your team go to the 2nd Galley La Headquarters, we'll meet up with you guys later!"

"Right!" Laxus and his teammates nodded in agreement.

Kagura and Yukino continued towards the 2nd headquarters of Galley-La, they were walking on the main street, where the Cashing building was.

"We should be there, just a few blocks away," Yukino said holding a map.

"Right, let's just hope other navy soldiers aren't-" Kagura stopped as she sensed something, she raised her arm out. "Wait..."

Yukino was confused at first until she realized that something was coming their way. "It seems like I found two accomplices, two female ones at that."

A tall marine with a skeletal face and long neck was approaching the two wizard ladies. "Gee, to think women are coming violent these days, quite sad." He said with a sniffle. "How can violence get into a woman's head!?" Crocodile tears were soon squirting from his eyes like a water fountain.

Kagura just stared at the man, with a cold stare, despite the fuss that the skeletal man was displaying, she could tell this guy was strong.

Yukino on the other hand wasn't expecting to meet a marine quite like him. "It would seem this marine doesn't like violence, despite the job can be overkill." She thought feeling a little sorry for the marine.

Kagura took note of the pitiful look that her friend had on her face. "Yukino..." She got the other Celestial wizard's attention. "Now's not the time to feel pity for our enemy."

"Geez..." A voice said coming from behind the skeletal like a man. "You're already making a fuss again, can you at least save your tears for another time?"

There was another marine approaching along with other marine soldiers wielding guns and swords. "To think we would run into a couple of beautiful women." He narrowed his eyes at Kagura then, seemingly sensing her power. "I can tell your strong woman."

Kagura gritted her teeth. "The name is Kagura to you." She replied in a dark tone as she placed her hands on her sword's sheath.

"Ooh scary, if you're going to use that sword, it'll be useless," Shu said confidently. "But attack me if you want."

Yukino was puzzled at this, why would a marine would offering his enemy to attack first.

"Was is your name, marine soldiers?"

T-Bone placed his hands on his sword's sheath with a look of seriousness. "I'm Marine rear-Admiral T Bone, also known as Ship Cutter T Bone."

That detail seemingly intrigued Kagura. "So he cuts down ships?"

Shu put his hands out like he was ready to grab the two women. "I'm Marine Captain Shu of the Navy, even though you're girls I won't go easy on you."

Yukino took a golden key. "Facing a member of the Sabretooth guild will bring you unfortunate fate." She whispered. "Open Gate the Scales: Libra!"

The key gave off a golden light that took the form of a woman that resembled a belly dancer.

Shu and T Bone were in awe, and blushing red, which was unlike them. "Good lord, a belly dancer!"

Shu covered his eyes with his hood. "So sexy, but I can't look!"

The other marines were in awe, some fell backward and had a slight nasal spray accident, and others were smitten comically with pink hearts in their eyes.

This was unexpected, but then T Bone started to cry comically. "A woman with such beauty like a belly dancer that has to brawl in a fight, such pity!"

Yukino's sweatdropped at the display again. "This is getting awkward."

Kagura scoffed in annoyance. "Enough, let's fight unless you men are mice?" She questioned.

That seemed to provoke Shu. "Nobody not even a criminal calls me a mouse."

Though T Bone wasn't offended as much, nevertheless he had a job to do and he'll to the end.

"Very well!" The skeletal man sheathed his sword. "This sword is Bamboo, I used this countless times to cut down pirate ships but god bless their miserable souls, I lost count of the ship that I cut down over the years!" He prepared a stance. "I'll demonstrate a move!"

The skeletal marine made a right angle cut in the air with his sword and swings it, sending a rectangular cut forward. "Chokkaku Senko: Bone Soir(Right Angle Flash: Bone Sky Division)!"

Yukino dodged the rectangular blade of light.

Kagura stood still gazing at the incoming attack. "Quite impressive..." She thought. "However I can see through it."

In a flash, she lunged towards a rectangular blade of light. "Slashing Form!" She slashed through the attack which split apart.

T Bone's eyes popped out in disbelief at what he just saw. "NO WAY!"

The Marines were taken by surprise. "HOLY CRAP!"

"That woman just slashed through T Bone's attack!"

"Look, her sword is still in its sheath!"

T Bone recollected himself. "I see, the rumors I heard were true after all, I haven't met a swordswoman like you." He smirked. "Even Pirate Hunter Zoro never did something like that, so let's continue our fight!"

Kagura could tell that the skeletal marine was taking this fight more seriously, at least she hopes so, but either way, she agreed to continue the fight. "Bring it."

The two swordsmen collided their swords together, both of their blades making loud sounds whenever they collided, the two staring at each other with determination, the two were on the Cashier building's rooftop where they continued their sword duel.

Shu had to admit he was impressed. "That woman has strong stamina, her swordsmanship skills are probably equal to Roronoa Zoro, either way, I got a job to do too."

He looked in the direction, where Yukino was standing with her belly dancer spirit. "You, Yukino, you can summon monsters like this Lucy woman." He said holding a wanted picture of Lucy and herself.

Yukino nodded her head. "Yes, we're a Celestial..." She stopped knowing that revealing what she and Lucy do would cause more unwanted attention. "Beings, we have special keys, which each one has a strong being that we can summon, but the most powerful ones that keys that are the golden ones."

Shu was more intrigued than ever. "Golden ones powerful huh, then show me what their power is."

"Libra, Gravity Change!" Yukino commanded.

Libra moved her hand down as a force of gravity altered Shun, forcing him to lay on the ground. "What is this?"

"Libra has the ability alter target's gravity even her own," Yukino explained. "Therefore you're trapped."

"Not for long though, men fire!" Shu ordered the marine to aim with their guns.

Yukino realized this, she began to evade the bullets that were fired.

Shu saw his chance and grabbed the girl's arm and waist. "You're not going anywhere!"

Just then Yukino noticed her movements were budging, but that wasn't what she also noticed. "My skin, what is it turning brown?"

"Oh I forgot to mention that I ate the Rust-Rust Fruit," Shu explained. "I'm a rust man, with this power I can turn anything like swords or organic skin like yours to rust, right now I disabled your joints, once this is over you'll be nothing more than a pile of rust."

Libra's eyes went wide as her master's skin turned brownish, and just as she was about to use her gravity magic on the marine captain...

Bang Bang

A few bullets were fired which shot Libra's arms and her shoulders, causing the belly dancer to kneel down and cringe in pain while holding her arms. "Libra no!" Yukino cried in horror.

Kagura hearing this, attempted to get to her friend. "Don't take your eyes off your opponent!" T Bone warned as he attempted to cut the woman, but due to her quick reflexes, she was able to block the attack.

"Damn, at this rate I won't make it back to help Yukino," Kagura thought gritting her teeth, seeing the severe danger her friend was in.

Yukino was scared at that detail, she struggled to move but her joints weren't moving an inch like Shu just explained to her. "No, I can't die like this."

"Men wielding swords, take down that belly dancer while she's done!" Shu ordered.

"Yes sir!" The marines charged with their swords towards the belly dancer spirit, all were about to cut the woman done to size.

However out of nowhere...

"Solid Script: Thunder!" The word "Thunder" shot in mid-air, then bolts of lightning struck the marines and electrocuted them one by one.

"What the hell, where'd that bolt of lightning come from?" Shu wondered.

"Ain't done yet, Solid Script: Water!" Levy appeared writing the word "Water", immediately sending an orb of light, which transformed into water, towards the rust-rust marine.

"Ahh, no not water!" Shu shouted covering himself with his arms.

Lily appeared in his battle form, slashing away the marines. "Kagura, Yukino, we made it here just time."

Pango used his paws to kung Fu a few marines in the chests, knocking them down out cold. "Sounds like you got had trouble."

Yukino noticed her arms were becoming less brownish and she felt her joints working again, she glared at the cape wearing marine. "I shall make you pay for that!" She delivered a punch in the marine's face making them stumble back in pain.

"I'm not done!" Yukino dashed towards the marine and delivered a kick into his stomach, sending him crashing into the falling marines.

Levy approached the other Celestial wizard. "You alright Yukino?"

"Yes, am I now thanks to you," Yukino replied with a grateful smile.

"I have to admit, this man has the power to Rust-Rust powers, Devil Fruits are more powerful than we thought," Lily commented staring down at the cape wearing marine.

Levy had to agree. "Yes, it looks like they have weakness as well, besides water, when I used my Water script attack, Shu's rust body and his powers got canceled, therefore he became vulnerable."

T Bone saw this and was astounded by what he saw. "A girl that writes words in the air, and uses them as attacks, quite impressive." He looked at the two animal like creatures. "Two Minks on the Grand Line, not good at all."

"Didn't you say to me not take your eyes off your opponent?" Kagura questioned as she attempted to cut down the marine, however, he blocked the attack.

"I think it's time we end this," T Bone suggested.

"My thoughts exactly," Kagura agreed with a nod.

T Bone jumped back, then slashed the air and propels a beam-shaped cut at the female swordsman, the cut is beginning to bounce off the air on sharp angular turns. "Chokkaku Hicho: Bone Odor(Right Angle Flying Bird: Bone Large Bird)!

Kagura had to admit she was impressed at this, but then the front of the beam turned into a bird-shaped head. "More impressive than I thought."

She placed her hand on her sword's sheath, she dashed through the bird-shaped like head, observing the moments of the attack, she was dashed towards the skeletal man.

However T Bone was aware of this strategy, it was the same one that Zoro used. "I ain't falling for this trick again."

The skeletal marine had his cut reverse by raising his sword upward then slashed the air in a line and made multiple into five bird shape heads, each one was soaring down at Kagura with an incredible speed.

"Predictable..." The female sword user said with a calm look.

Kagura dashed in fast motion. "Flying Form!" She cut down the cut bird-shaped heads by leaping into the air.

T Bone was in awe at this display but also impressed. "She saw through it, but how?" He wondered.

Kagura gave the marine a cold stare. "I've been so many battles, I remembered some opponents attacked in the air using different tacts, but I admit your sword attacks are something that I never thought of before."

She placed her hand on her sword's sheath and dashed towards T Bone. "However this ends now!" She came closer at a fast pace. "Slashing Form!"

The attack cut down T Bone on the chest which broke his newly Bamboo again, he tilt over and fell on his back unconscious with his eyes rolled backward.

Kagura looked down at the unconscious marine. "You got skills as a swordsman, I hope to see you improve and maybe we'll have a rematch."

She jumped from the rooftop meeting up with Yukino and Levy now.

"You're here, where's Gajeel, and the others?"

"They're fighting some marine guys, but they'll meet up once they defeated their opponents, when that's done, they'll meet up at the rendezvous point," Levy explained as she took out a map. "Here's a map of Water 7, according to this marked spot, there is a secret warehouse, that's where we'll meet the others."

"Then let's go to the secret warehouse, surely some of our friends are there by now," Yukino said.

"Right!" Kagura and Levy said with a determined expression.

Outside of the Water 7

Kizaru's ship.

The admiral was talking through his transponder snail. "What's that?"

"You heard me, right sir, the new CP9 has been defeated, now T Bone and Shu have fallen now," A marine spoke.

"My, my, these new rookies are sure causing mayhem," Kizaru said with a big grin. "What about Vice-Admiral Nicholas and Mio?"

"They're currently still fighting some of the criminals that have bounties on their heads," The marine spoke holding a few wanted posters. "I believe it's the blue haired child that fought against Vice-Admiral Sorano, the other is the redhead woman Erza too, including a long black-haired man, who's taking on Lieutenant Herald."

"I see, then that in case, follow the ones that you have insight, but don't draw attention, we need to know where they're going, once we know we can ambush them," Kizaru responded.

"Right sir, over and out," The transponder was turned off.

Kizaru then gazed at Water 7. "Don't think I'll let you brats escape me now, I'll see to it that all you die."

On the Paradise Region

Gloom Island

Dracule "Hawkeye" Mihawk

One of the Seven Warlords of the Sea.

The warlord was at his castle, reading the newspaper in his chair, including the incident at Pucci island. "So new rookies including a vice-admiral opposed the Celestial Dragon Charloss." He pondered with intrigue.

The strongest swordsman then put the newspaper aside and picked up two wanted posters of Kagura and Erza.

"Erza the Scarlet Knight, impressive," He said with a slight smirk.

He then looked at the picture of Kagura. "I must admit I never saw anyone fight with a sword in its sheathe, this year has gotten interesting."

Then he picked up three wanted posters of the three former Night Raid assassins, his face became more intrigued than ever. "These three have quite the interesting eyes, they show they've been through hell."

On the Grand Line.

Franky was almost to the island of Sabaody. "Super!" He proclaimed doing his super stance. "I'm almost there, I hope everyone is there soon, if not then they'll surely arrive later."

He sat down for a moment, beginning to ponder at a thought, which his Franky Family was suddenly on his mind. "Zambai, Kiwi, and Mozu, everyone I hope you guys are doing alright."

His thought came to Iceberg. "Ice for brains, I mean Iceberg, hope you're continuing to make Water 7 a boat, I know that sounds impossible to me, but then again you and I saw a man, Tom made the impossible possible, if anyone can prove that it's you.

The next chapter shall be the Erza and her team finishing their battle and reuniting together, while Kizaru plans an ambush.
