Merry Christmas Everyone. I hope you all have a great and safe Christmas/holiday. Have fun and enjoy yourselves. But take time to think of those who can't be with you by distance, by illness, unable to travel or those that have past on. But also take time to think about the less fortunate.

And on a personal note to my Nan who passed this year. I'll miss you at Christmas the most. I love you and I hope you have quite the celebration in Heaven with the rest of our family and friends that have gone before you. I hope you know we will be thinking about you and everyone else at Christmas.

Chapter .5.
"I stand corrected YOUR stunt was the most stupidest in the world", Sharon shouts at him.
"I will correct you there. I am one of the most intelligent person in the world. Thank you never much", Tony corrects her with a grin.
"Let Jenny look at you", Sharon orders.
"Cousin I believe the others need more attention then I do", Tony tells her.
"Cousin!" Steve cries.
"Oh shut up Rogers I will get to YOU later", Sharon growls, her eyes flashing at Captain America.
Tony did find Sharon's comments to be VERY enjoyable. But his secret was going to come out. Damn.
"Sit down Stark", Sharon orders.
Snickers come from Peter, Harley and the Barton Children.
"Not. A. Word", Tony says to them wiggling a finger at them.
Not the middle one obviously.
He sits and Jennifer comes over to look at him.
"Jen?" Bruce asks shocked.
"Hey Cousin. You look well for someone to have been held hostage", Jennifer replies smiling as she checks Tony over.
"So what did I miss?" Tony asks them, as it seemed Laura, Jennifer and Sharon didn't seem too happy with him.
"Other then seeing you get the s…butt kicked out of you?" Hank snorts after a glare from Laura for nearly saying shit.
Tony rolls his eyes, "Hank you wound me. Ross, Hammer and Doom can't hurt anyone seriously. Ross is a overconfident dic…", Laura glares at him for the almost swear, "a bonehead, Hammer is just crazy, with little to no intelligence. Now the I say it Ross and Doom are in the crazy depart too. And Doom, well is just Doom, whose robots are nearly as bad as Hammers"
Reed, Susan, Johnny and Ben snicker at that.
"But did you have to get hurt!" Laura tells him, "I hate it when your hurt!" she cries.
"Stark…Tony what is this with my wife?" Clint asks looking a bit angry.
"Oh don't lose any feathers birdbrain. We are just close friends", Tony says to him, a bit amused.
But Laura wasn't.
Tony saw it, "Kiddies bed time. As adults need to talk and you BOTH don't need to hear this"
Cooper and Lila pout.
"But…", Cooper tries.
"Uncle Tony…"
"No buts kids. Off to bed. How about I come with you and tuck you in?" Tony asks them.
Jenny gives him a look. Which he ignores.
The two Barton's cheer and take his hands and drag him out of the room.
"Of course I am not cheating on you if that was what you thought!", Laura shouts at him.
"What are you then?" Clint asks confused.
"We are best friends and he treats me like a sister. Tony saved us time and time again when Ross was coming after us to use us as leverage! And when you idiots got held hostage tonight he called US first and got us out of any danger that might have come! Hell he sent Vision and Peter to us!" Laura tells him angrily.
Clint felt a little foolish now. He had just stuck up for Tony in that hostage situation and now he basically had accused him of having an affair with his wife.
"I was there within minutes Agent Barton. Before anyone had the chance to try anything", Peter pipes up.
"Thanks kid", Clint says with a small smile.
Peter shrugs, "I was in the neighbourhood and I like Cooper, Lila, and Nate"
"Peter is actually a great babysitter when I need a break and so is Tony too", Laura tells them.
"I am Peter Parker by the way. Aka Spider-Man or as Captain America calls my Queens", Peter says with a smile holding out his hand for Steve to shake.
Steve shakes it back, "I am glad to put a name to the face"
"You kicked the shit out of us at the airport and your what 14?" Sam exclaims.
"16 Mr Wilson", Peter replies.
"It is Sam kid", Sam replies.
"He still calls Tony and me Mr Stark and Mr or Sergeant Barnes so good luck with that", Bucky snorts going over to the fridge.
He was trying to act calm. But he was a bundle of nerves and anxiety. As he wanted and needed to know Tony was okay. Bucky couldn't get out of his head Tony running to their rescue but being captured. Who does that?
Steve and the others wondered who Bucky got so close to Tony.
Peter shrugs, "I was taught to be polite to adults", he then smirks mischievously, "But I do it especially to annoy them", as he flops on the couch besides Harley.
Laughs come from around the room at that.
"Who are you kid?" Natasha asks the other boy.
"I am Harley Keener. Tony is my mentor and says I am his protegee", he says.
"I am his protegee", Peter argues.
"No I am. I am his favourite", Harley argues back.
"Wrong boys I'm his favourite", a girl says coming from somewhere a flopping down on BOTH of them.
The grunt and push her off.
"So Riri we ARE definitely his favourites. He has known as longer", Peter complains.
"He had known ME the longest", Harley corrects.
"Where were you anyway in this fight?" Peter asks her.
"I had things to do with Kate. She says high by the way Barton", Riri calls to a startled Clint.
Was she talking about HIS protegee Kate Bishop?
"Anyway I'm the favourite", Harley says getting back to the conversation.
The three continue to argue and it lightens the mood seeing the kids look so free. And it starts to relax them as they found themselves being checked over by Jennifer.
Pepper, Rhodey, Coulson and Fury couldn't believe these kids were so familiar with Tony. How did Tony know them? Besides Peter they had never seen these kids before. And they only saw Peter in his costume and didn't know the Spider-Man was a kid, well a teenager.
The other members of Halo were relaxing and getting out of their costumes having disappeared for a few minutes and coming back.
Hope and Hank were scolding Scott.
"How can you be so stupid?" Hank growls.
"Have you even talked to Cassie? Did you even think about here when you where held hostage?" Hope asks him.
Daisy was talking to the members of her former team with Johnny's arm wrapped around her.
"When did you join this team?" Bobbi asks her.
Daisy shrugs, "Tony seeked me out not long after I left you"
"What about the name Quake?" Jemma asks.
"Have you discovered the full extend of your powers?" Leo asks her.
"That was some wicked moves out there", Hunter states.
"Where did you learn all that?" Mack asks her.
"Your control seems to have improved greatly. Still sticking to your training?" May asks her.
"What is it with you and this guy?" Coulson asks glaring at Johnny who looked amused.
Susan was talking to Carol.
"How well do you think this was going to go?" Susan asks Carol.
"About how well you might think"
"When did you get the message? Where were you? Must have been far because you were late"
Betty was scolding Bruce and telling him he should have been man enough to call her with Ben slamming down into a chair besides them.
"I still can't trust myself around you", Bruce tells her.
"You have more control then you realise", Betty tells him.
"I am a monster. You Father had a point with that", Bruce replies.
Jennifer winces hearing that. How well telling him about her was going to go?
"My Father is an asshole and your NOT a monster Bruce Banner!"
"You should listen to her mate. I know what it is like after all", Ben tells him gesturing to his rock body.
"But at least…"
T'Challa seemed to be trying to relax by talking to Daredevil, who still didn't want to give his name.
"How did you come to be in this group?"
"Stark", he grumbles.
"That can't be all", T'Challa replies.
"That is all I am willing to share", he replies.
"How about I tell you a bit about me?"
"How about you tell me how you were stupid enough to believe Stark will need protection?"
Pepper, Rhodey, Steve and Fury were trying to gain details of this group from Frost aka Zoey James.
"Do you all have powers?"
"No", she replies.
"How much control do you guys have?"
"We all have complete control of them", she replies, "Do you?"
"How powerful are you all? Or dangerous are you?"
"About as dangerous as certain members of your team Rogers", she replies.
"Why haven't I heard about any of you?"
"Because Fury we didn't want you to know. And Tony is VERY good at covering for us", she replies to the annoyed Director of SHIELD, "What are you jealous?" she teased.
"How do you know Tony?"
"Business", she replies mysteriously.
"How well do you know Tones?"
"How well do YOU know him?" Zoey asks with a smirk as she turned his question around on him.
Sam was talking to Sharpshooter and Black Sky. Sarah Page and Elektra. Who both were very pleasant to talk too.
Sarah apparently could make any shot.
And Elektra was apparently a more deadly opponent then they had seen and very sly and cunning as well.
"How did you two come to be on this team? How do you know Tony?"
Wanda was nervously looking around and was startled like everyone when Doctor Strange appeared again and began talking to her about learning to control her powers more.
"How would you like to learn to control your powers?"
"Can you do that?"
"I am willing to teach you and Stark has already organising it"
"Stark is helping me?"
"Of course. Why wouldn't he?"
Laura was now trying to calmly talk to Clint and Natasha who was trying to interrogate her about this new team.
"So how is Tony with Nate?" Natasha smirks.
"Good. He even changes his diapers"
Their jaws drop at that.
"Stark changes a diaper?"
"Yes all the time. Even when…"
"Even when?" Clint prompts.
"Even when Nate sprayed him with pee"
They roar with laughter…
Shuri was questioning Reed about his powers.
"How did you get them?"
"What was that cosmic storm like?"
"What is the full extent of your powers?"
"Can you stretch everything?"
"Can Susan shield everything?
"How does Johnny's fire effect everything?"
"Can Ben change back? How does it effect him?"
Even though she wanted to talk to the three teens who were STILL arguing.
"Hey, Hey enough! I don't have a favourite with you kids! I know better then saying one of you is better then the other. I am not THAT bad with kids", a voice calls.
And Tony comes back into the room looking like he had showered and seemed to be holding his phone.
Bucky moves over to her and pulls him into his arms much to the shock of others.
"What on earth were you thinking? And are you alright? Did Ros…", he starts to ramble.
"I am find Snow Cone. But you should calm down. Your making Steve and the others VERY confused right now", Tony says with a smirk.
Even through many secrets of his would be getting out.
Bucky sighs, Tony always said he was fine even when he was not.
"Now before anything. Daredevil! Black Sky! Your team called you need to get back Cage, Jones and Rand seemed to not be able to function without you for a few hours", Tony calls.
Elektra grumbles, "They are supposed to be adults"
"I want to go home anyway", Daredevil grumbles getting up.
"Happy will drop you off at Hell's Kitchen and tell Rand we have a business meeting with Pym over there tom…"
"Sir it is currently 1am. So your meeting is today", JARVIS says.
Tony grumbles, "Now it is my turn to grumble. Tell Rand I'll see him THIS afternoon"
"What am I a messenger pigeon?" Daredevil asks sarcastically as he walks out.
"Dear…", Black Sky starts elbowing him as they get in the elevator.
"Love you too asshole", Tony calls.
Tony moves to look at the three teens.
"Shouldn't you three be in bed?" Tony asks.
"I normally stay up later then this when I am on patrol", Peter argues.
"Well…", Tony starts.
"And it is not a school night", Peter points out.
"Yeh not a school night Tony. We have had later movie nights then this", Harley pouts.
"And with all this excitement there is no way we can sleep now", Riri pouts.
Everyone could see the three giving Tony what he would call 'puppy dog' eyes. Making everyone else amused to no end, especially when they could see Tony giving in.
"I am going to ban those eyes and charge you 2 dollars or a favour every time you make them. JARVIS make a note of that", Tony calls.
"Yes Sir", JARVIS replies and to many he seemed just as amused.
The three teens cheer and high five each other.
"Your such a push over Stark", Carol calls.
"Them and the Barton kids have him wrapped around their fingers", Reed chuckles.
"So all it takes is children to make the great Tony Stark as soft as a cloud?" Stephen teases.
"My big bad cousin becoming their Father-Figure in their lives and hearts?" Sharon teases.
"If only Howard could see you know", Hank smirks.
"Or all those board members at Stark Industries", Daisy teases.
"You're a push over Tony", Betty teases.
"It is a good look on you Tony", Pepper chuckles.
Tony was pouting now, "James they are picking on me"
Bucky chuckles and pulls him onto his lap in the chair.
"Oh baby come here", Bucky laughs.
Making those that didn't know about them eyes widen.
"That is a VERY good look on you and it is adorable and cute when your soft and Fatherly", Bucky tells him.
Tony pouts, "You too? I am NOT adorable or soft!" he complains.
But doesn't deny the Father comment. Much to nearly all their amusement.
"What were you doing so long with my kids then?" Laura teases.
Tony mumbles something.
"What was that?" Laura asks hiding a laugh.
"Tucking them in. They also wanted to check if I was alright and…", he mumbles the last bit.
The Avengers were amused by that and Team Halo were trying not to laugh.
"What was that?" Laura teases amused.
"Reading them a story", Tony mutters.
"How many stories?" Wisp aka Julia Walker asks smugly.
"3", Tony mutters to laughter.
They ALL laugh. It made even those that were held hostage and confused to laugh seeing another side of Tony Stark. And they had to admit it was adorable.
Clint couldn't believe what his kids got Tony to do.
Bucky laughs a deep laugh finally relaxing.
"You too?" Tony whines crossing his arms.
"Oh baby I love that side of you and it lets me know you are alright", Bucky replies.
"Are you going to thank me?"
"Thank you baby but it WAS stupid. But I'll sure you how much I appreciate it", Bucky tells him before turning Tony's face towards him.
And to the shock of the Avengers kissing him on the lips.
