Chapter 37: The Navy Sets Out
Previously, Fairy Tail arrived at Sabaody, formulating a plan and going into different groups, though, Gildarts, Millianna, and Aquapad arrived at Shakky's Rip-Off Bar, surprising Rayleigh, as for Erza, Kagura, and Mest, the three meet Sanji and Zoro.
Luffy encounters the Fake Strawhats but, manages to knock out the imposters using his Conquerer's Haki, anyway, let's see what will happen next.
Fishman District
Saizou was scouting the area. "So far, my part is clear." He muttered in boredom. "I hope those Strawhats arrive soon."
"That's for sure, your plan was ruined when Arlong was defeated," A voice in the said, which was a large black-like bull, Fishman.

"Pity, I was hoping to fight against that old-timer,"
He wore tight pants, a leather jacket that exposed his massive muscular body.
His hair was black mohawk, red eyes, with a row of sharp teeth, with bull-like horns on his head, and his arms showed great muscle and strength, and he was taller than Saizou.
Then another shadowy figure was approaching the two.
"However, the Strawhats are sure to be here," the voice said, which was male, who had a perverted sneaky grin on his face.
"I can't wait to have some fun with the ladies."

His attire was that of a jester, his pants will baggy pants that were red with several white spots while he wore a silly jester top.
His hair was orange and curly haircut style and had Fishman's legs.

On Sabaody, Shakky's Rip-Off Bar
Rayleigh, Duval, and his riders were in absolute awe, seeing a person that looks like one of the Four Emperors of the New World.
"Red-Haired Shanks is here!" Duval and his men exclaimed comically with their eyes popping out.
"Shanks, who is Shanks?" Gildarts asked though he began to realize his title as wanted man must have something to do with this man they mistake him for.
Aquapad chuckled awkwardly. "Uhh... Rayleigh, this guy isn't Shanks, I mean he looks like him, but, he's not, but, I admit, it's cool."
"Meow seems the famous Gildarts has a counterpart in this world," Millianna said pulling back her head.
"Wow, a kitty girl!" Duval and his men swooned lovestruck at the new woman.
The kitty woman wasn't amused by the men's reactions. "Pigs."
Cana began to wake up due to the noise. "Ugh... What's with the ruckus?"
"Baby girl!" Gildarts cried over to his daughter and hugged her.
His daughter instantly woke up the moment she realized who was hugging her in a touchy feeling way. "Geez, dad, stop that."
"Dad?" Duval and his men exclaimed in shock.
Gildarts then glared at the Fish rider gang. "You lay a perverted finger on her, I'll crush you brats the ground!"
Duval and his men screamed comically while nodding their heads. "Y-yes, sir!"
Leone began to awake. "Man, talk about a wake-up call." She sat up rubbing her head. "What's going on?"
The beast woman's eyes widen in delight. "Oh, company!"
Shakky observed the two guests. "I assume these two are friends of yours?"
Leone nodded her head. "Yeah, they're the ones we mentioned before."
Akame walked to the two guests. "Excuse me, are you guys hungry?"
Gildarts smirked. "Yeah, I could use some boozes!"
Millianna giggled. "Yeah, I'm hungry."
Aquapad then walked over to Rayleigh. "Excuse me, Rayleigh!" Everyone looked at the Marlin Fishman approaching the former pirate. "I need a favor, it involves getting me home to Fishman Island."
"Oh, Juvia," Gildarts said, getting the water mage's to look in his direction. "Gray here's, I mean somewhere on the island with Natsu and the others, if you want to go look for them, then-
Juvia was out in a flash, but, she wore a cloak as a disguise. "Gray, my love, Juvia is coming for you!"
"She didn't waste any time," Gildarts chuckled, knowing that the water mage's love for the ice wizard.

At Grove 17
Robin was making her way to where the Thousand Sunny was being kept at.
She eventually arrived, seeing the ship was in perfect shape. "Sunny, hi there, I hope you weren't too lonely."
Franky was on the ship checking some stuff, then he caught a glimpse of the woman. "Huh?" He wondered, but after getting a good look at the woman, he hollered in amazement.
"Wow, who is that gorgeous lady, it's Robin of course!" He chanted. "Our super Archaeologist, BOY DID I MISS YOU!"
Robin was speechless for a moment, until, she realized who she was looking for and just smiled. "Heh, you haven't changed a bit."
Franky was a bit offended by that. "Is that joke sister, I'M BRAND NEW MAN, NO, I'M MORE THAN A MAN!"
The cyborg pumped up his arms and clenched his fists. "CHECK OUT THIS NEW TRANSFORMATION, THE LIKES THAT YOU HAVE NEVER SEEN BEFORE! YEAH, I'M A BEYOND HUMAN!"
"Fair enough, but, you always been that way," Robin said with a giggle.
"Oh, so, I'm not a freak, but a super one?" Franky questioned with a huge grin. "You're going to make me blush?"
Robin noticed the moment she stepped on the ship's deck, it was all bubbly, she poked around the other parts of the ship, realizing the bubble structure around it, Franky informs her of the work he did with Rayleigh.
Robin then revealed her to be the eighth person to arrive on the island, and Franky tells her about where the others went.
"I see, so, our friends are doing different parts of Sabaody," Robin said still standing.
Franky sat down and drank cola. "Yeah, as for our captain, I'm sure he'll turn up, by the way, I got some news to share with you," He took out some new wanted posters from a bag that lay next to his legs, "Did you hear, some new rookies are making names for themselves."
Robin giggled with intrigue. "Yeah, I also got a little interested in this boy with the pink hair." She was pointing at a picture of Natsu, showing the boy with a huge grin.
"He grins like our captain," Franky said with a chuckle. "I heard he's got a firepower, similar to Ace's Flame-Flame Fruit."
"Yeah, makes you wonder if he's just as crazy as our captain," Robin giggled. "Then again, he and this handsome Vice-Admiral opposed a Celestial Dragon, so, I guess that proves my theory."
"Ha, that's for sure," Franky laughed, thinking that there was another person that's like Luffy in a way. "Anyway, I heard they escaped the Navy on Pucci Island, then barely escaped Water 7, I hope everyone there is okay."
Robin then began to reach into her bag. "I almost forgot, look at this." She showed a picture of Brook. "He's holding a concert today, he's calling himself "Soul King"."
"Yeah, there's a story about that, he's been doing a lot, even more, when he was hiding in the shadows," Franky said, Robin, tilt her head in confusion. "He rose from the foggy seas and now he's a bright shining star!"
Robin remembered that, when she and her friends first encountered Brook, he was on an abandoned ship all alone.
Franky took a big sip of his cola and then continued, "His fans reach his name to the heavens if you pardon my poetry, he didn't say anything to me, but, he's making a lot of people happy with his music, he might not want to be pirate anymore."
"Is this where the Sunny is?" A female child voice asked.
"Child, be careful, there could be enemies nearby!" Another female said in a protesting way.
"I getting a bit hungry," Pango said feeling his tummy growling.
"Who's there?" Franky asked in a demanding tone. "Show yourselves!"
At Grove 33
Sabaody Dome
Brook continued his singing.
Outside the dome was Natsu's group.
"Who is singing?" Happy asked.
"Must be this Soul King guy," Natsu said holding a poster.
Lucy was a little shaken by the appearance. "Is he skeleton?"
"I have to admit, he reminds of Keyes," Gray thought. "Though, his music is quite cool."
"I heard he's been making a lot of people happy with his music too," Miyako informed.
Fujika was relaxed at the music. "Yeah, the music feels so relaxing, I feel an energy building up inside me too."
"Anyway, let's keep looking around for stuff to buy, I heard grove 42 has some fish to buy," Lucy said holding a map of Sabaody.
"Fishy!" Happy said practically drooling.
"I want some grilled ones!" Natsu added.
The two attempted to run off, but, Lucy grabbed by them just in time. "Don't you idiots runoff, because knowing you guys, you both will draw unwanted attention!"
"He's right, pyro boy, we don't need you causing a racket or getting into a fight," Gray said.
"What'd you call me, you pervy popsicle!" Natsu roared as he and the ice mage began to headbutt each other like raging bulls.
"You want to fight, dragon boy?"
"Bring it on, ice stripper boy!"
"Lame insults guys," Lucy said sweatdropping.
Fujika giggled seeing how tough Natsu was.
"Gray, your clothes," Miyako whispered shyly.
The ice mage looked down and saw that his pants, his cloak, and shirt will off, except for his boxers.
"Hey, that guy is half-naked!" A little girl pointed out.
"Pervert!" A woman cried covering her daughter's eyes.
"Put some damn clothes on, you moron!" Another woman protested.
"Come on, let's go," Lucy whispered to her friends, trying to hold back any embarrassment.
A marine was spying on the group, recognizing the ice mage. "Gray Fullbuster is here, that means he and his crew are here, no doubt."

Fake Zoro and Sanji found their captain and their other crewmates.
"Captain Luffy, what happen to you?"
Fake Luffy groaned while rubbing his head. "Damn, that boy with the huge backpack did something." He remembered the scary expression and the strange power that caused him and his crew to faint on the spot.
"That power or whatever he used, chills went through my body."
Fake Zoro then remembered something. "Captain, I forget, Coco, I mean Robin is in a real pickle right now."
After explaining the situation, Fake Luffy was outraged. "What, she was kidnapped, why didn't you guys do anything?"
"It happened so fast, sir!" Fake Sanji said defending himself and Zoro.
"They must bounty hunters, they're probably going to sell her to auction as they did with Camie!" Chopper stated.
Fake Luffy looked at him for a moment, then he looked back at Sanji and Zoro. "Did you get a good look at them?"
Zoro decided to answer that. "No, like I said it happened too fast."
Fake Sanji went close to Fake Luffy's ear. "Captain, I think they must've taken Coco because she looked like Robin, so, I think we might be in over our heads."
Fake Luffy groaned knowing that was true. "Yeah, we planned to pretend to be the Strawhats, guess that worked against us."
Chopper couldn't hear what they were saying. "Hey, what is going on, are you keeping secrets from me?"
Fake Luffy looked at the talking reindeer for a moment again. "Forget about Robin, it's not my fault if she dies."
"Uhh... yeah sure." Fake Sanji answered.
Chopper couldn't believe what he just heard. "What, how can you say that, Luffy, do you not care about Robin?"
Fake Luffy was confused about the animal that was talking to him. "What is this, and how come it's talking?"
"Is this some kind of a joke because it's not funny!" Chopper shouted, he grab at the fake Luffy's arm. "Come on, let's go find Robin!"
Fake Luffy shook the reindeer off making him fall on the ground, then he turned his attention to his crew.
"Alright, here's the deal, we must go Grove 46 and meet up with our recruits, that punk with the long-nose, that chick with the orange-hair, and that brat with the huge backpack, those three made fools of us, hunt them down and kick their asses, we'll show the world when you mess with Strawhat Luffy and with the secret we got, we'll be sure to give them hell!"
"Good call," Franky said.
"Yeah, we'll make they'll cry and beg," Fake Nami added.
"Sounds good to me," Fake Sanji approved.
"Same goes for me," Fake Zoro agreed.
"No joke, I can't wait to shoot their bodies with bullets!" Fake Sniper stated with an evil smirk.
"Luffy, why are you acting like this, why won't you and the others help rescue Robin?!" Chopper questioned practically in tears. "I'm so sad, Robin needs us!"
Fake Luffy just scoffed in annoyance. "There it goes again, perhaps we can sell this animal."
Chopper stomped away in anger. "Damn it, forget you guys, I'll rescue Robin myself!"
Behind one of the nearby buildings, two marines were eavesdropping.
"What was that, did they fight?"
"Don't know, but, it seems the rumors were true..." The other marine said holding the wanted posters of the Strawhats. "That pet, nobody has a one like that, despite that, they haven't aged, so the reports are true, they have returned."
The marines took out their transponder snail and started to call the nearby Navy base.
Then Laxus and his team, all were wearing cloaks to keep themselves hidden for the time being.
"Laxus, who are those guys?" Evergreen asked in a whispering tone.
"Are they the Strawhat pirates, I mean they look like them," Bickslow guessed.
"No, they're nothing like the ones from the picture," Freed spoke.
"Right, those morons are only pretending to be, whatever reason, I don't care, but, they're taken advantage of the citizen's fear." Laxus agreed, he was disgusted at what these imposters were doing. "Anyway, we can't draw attention, so, we'll keep laying low, for now."
Later
Grove 66
Navy Garrison Base
Word of the Strawhats and Gray Fullbuster sighting go the base.
"I see, the Strawhats and former Vice-Admiral Gray Fullbuster were spotted," A navy officer replied, who was sitting at a desk.
"That's right, the rumor about the Strawhats recruiting new members is true too, we must act quickly!" The navy soldier's voice responded. "They are assembled to meet at Grove 46."
"Understood, also, make sure the citizens are evacuated before this becomes a war zone, over and out!" The navy officer said hanging up the transponder snail.
More navy soldiers gathered to the base's entrance doors.
"The Strawhats are here, no doubt, they're in the lawless zone too!"
"Block all exits to 42-44!"
"D1 is sending in back as well!"
"What about Gray?"
"It's obvious that he and his friends are here, so, keep an eye for any of his companions!"
Just then footsteps were coming from the other side.
Sentomaru was walking down the hallway with two cyborg clones of Kuma.
"I'm heading in first, PX-5 and PX-7 will accompany me!"
"You deploying Pacifatas sir!?" A marine questioned.
"Of course!" Sentomaru replied at the meaningless question.
He walked past the marines, but, then he stopped to glance at them with a serious expression. "Didn't you fools not learn anything about underestimating the Strawhats, they were gone for 2 years, surely they've gotten much stronger than the last time!"
Then he turned his face away. "They may be rookies, but, make no mistake, they're the most dangerous pirates!"
"What about the Fairy Tail Pirates?" A marine asked.
"Is that a tough question, they're just as dangerous as well, not to mention they have more members with bounties, on top of that one our own has one too!" Sentomaru roared out. "Anyway, Fleet Admiral Akainu wants me to confront former Gray Fullbuster as soon as I can!"
In truth, he was little impressed, that a vice-admiral like Gray would oppose a Celestial Dragon, but, mostly what was on his mind of what Kuma did the Strawhats when they arrived on Sabaody.
"Kuma, his actions were puzzling, he send them flying away instead of upper-handing them, despite his personality was wiped, he must've thought they would return, which they did, so, we must make sure that what happened two years ago, doesn't happen again, LET'S MOVE!"
In another area.
Luffy was using Rayleigh's vivre card to find seek him. "Hmm... it's moving fast, I must be getting close."
Then he came across an alleyway, pirates were beating up some other ones.
"There is plenty more where that came from," A man stated with a smirk and holding a large spiked club.
Luffy began to look around, seeing a lot more pirates. "I didn't think there would be more pirates here."
He began to realize that his chances of getting spotted will be much greater. "Maybe I should wear the fake mustache."
At Grove 35
Nami was shopping and got some clothes, but, asked for a 50 discount, but the cashier couldn't, which made the navigator. "Come on, stop wasting my time!"
"Please don't be angry, I can't give you a 50 percent discount, my boss flip out if that happens!" The cashier panicked.
Usopp put his hand out. "Ok stop, you go shopping at Fishman Island, we're here to buy fuel instead!"
"Well, too bad," Nami said sarcastically, getting another pile of clothes. "I want these too, but, I want 90 percent off."
The cashier and Usopp had jaw-dropping expressions.
"Why me!?" The cashier whined in disbelief.

At Grove 42.
Zoro, Sanji, Erza, Mest, and Kagura were walking with the others, explaining their situation.
"I see, your friends went to different locations to find the friends that are here," Sanji said lighting a cigarette. "Well, they're at Shakky's Rip-Off Bar in Grove 44."
"Thanks, but, Gildarts, two more friends of ours are on their way there, so, as for us, we wanted to do some shopping,"
"Where is this Makarov guy you mentioned before?" Zoro questioned.
"He went to take a walk to do some thinking, for what reason, he has one," Erza replied.
Flashback.
Makarov was talking with Erza.
"I see, Leone, Akame, and Chelsea are assassins," The old man said.
"I know it sounds bad, but, I can assure you master Makarov that they're good people, I would explain more, but, right now, we have more things to do."
Makarov grunted for a moment and sighed. "Very well, as for me, I need to take a walk, also, just call me Makarov, you're the new Guildmaster, well, for the time being anyway."
Erza smiled a bit. "Right."
Flashback ends.
"I see, sounds like your master has a lot of things on his mind," Zoro said continuing to walk but a little faster.
Sanji noticed this. "Hey, mosshead, you keep going that fast, you might get lost."
Zoro scoffed. "Yeah, but, it's not like I want you around, mouth brow."
Erza chuckled softly. "They remind me of Natsu and Gray."
Mest couldn't deny that. "That's for sure, especially when Natsu headbutts with Gajeel."
Kagura was having her eyes on those three Swords of Zoro's. "So, the story of this man wielding three Swords is true, I admit, that's quite impressive even in person."
Sanji then caught a whiff of something and wandered off, Erza and the others followed, however, Zoro continued.
The cook came to a booth that was selling different foods on a stick, each stick had fried five vegetables and meat.
"That looks good," Sanji said quite impressed.
"Too bad, it's not sweets, but, it looks good," Erza said.
"Hello," A woman's voice said getting Sanji's attention. "You like what you see here?"
A lovestruck expression formed on Sanji's face. "Oh! Yes, a woman with suckling meat!"
Bonk
Erza punched the cook on the head. "Stop being a pervert!"
Y-yes, mistress Erza!" Sanji said still having the lovestruck expression.
"Hey, where is Zoro?" Kagura asked.
Sanji got up. "Damn it, that bastard wandered off again!"
Erza clenched her fist in frustration. "I'm such a fool, how could I let that man wander off on his own."
Sanji took the scarlet woman's hands into his. "Don't blame yourself, Zoro is just a-
Bonk Bonk
"Hands off of her, pervert," Kagura said hitting the cook on the head with a cold stare.
Zoro was wandering through an alleyway. "I want to go fishing, but, I need a fishing pole." Then a shop caught his view. "Ah, a fishing shop."
Sanji, Mest, Erza, and Kagura began to search for Zoro.

Chopper was running through the shopping district aimlessly in confusion and sadness.
Thinking that the Fake Strawhats were the real ones, he continued to look for the Fake Robin, mistaking her for the real one. "Damn it, Robin! Robin!"
He remembered what the imposters said to him, making him feel more hurt and confused. "Damn it, I trained for two years, to be a better doctor, but, for what?" Tears fell from his eyes.
Then he was stopped by a voice.
"Chopper, there you are pal!"
The reindeer turned his head and looked at a familiar face. "Usopp?"
Then a pair of hands cupped his face. "Chopper, you have gotten so tall, I bet the other male reindeer are going to be jealous!" Nami said jokingly.
Chopper was in awe, but, then, he saw the warm smiles on them, realizing that they were the real deal.
A short time later.
Chopper was riding with Nami on Sabaody's rental bike while Usopp rode on his own.
The pirate reindeer was giving the information of the Strawhats he encountered. "Those guys are fake!"
Nami sighed. "Use your head, do you think Robin will easily get kidnapped?"
The reindeer realized more about the situation, he clenched his hoove-like hands. "I'm getting angry, those big fakers, if I see them, I'll punch their faces!"
"Anyway, did you guys hear about the new rookies?" Usopp said handing out a bunch of wanted posters.
Nami took the posters that had Lucy, Wendy, Carla, and Yukino.
"Hmm? These girls are quite interesting, I mean I heard their power is something amazing, I heard they were spotted on the Alabasta Kingdom,"
"Do you think they met Vivi?" Chopper asked.
Nami shrugged. "Who knows, but, perhaps if we meet them, we can ask them."
Usopp smiled with a chuckle. "Yeah, I wonder how Vivi is doing."
Natsu and his friends were on their way to the 42, as they did they thought of Brook's music.
"Sounds like this Hook guy knows how to play music," Natsu spoke.
"His name is Brook!" Happy, Gray and Lucy corrected comically.
Fujika giggled at the display.
"He's got a habit of forgetting names," Miyaka thought with a sweatdrop.
Sanji along with Kagura and Mest caught up with Zoro.
In time, the chef and the Swordsman began to bicker as usual. "Geez, I only wanted to go fishing."
"Too bad, our friends are waiting for us, not to mention you'll get lost like you usually do," Sanji mocked. "Don't act all mighty just because you made it here first!"
That was making Zoro madder. "You want to fight curly brow!?"
"Yeah, I've been training for the last 2 years, I'll kick your ass so hard!" Sanji said with a smirk.
Both had a strong aura surrounding their bodies, which Erza sensed. "They're strong, even without magic, no doubt, they aren't all talk."
"C'mon you two, stop this childish fighting!" Mest suggested seriously.
"You stay out of this!" Zoro and Sanji barked at the former council member.
"Hey, I'm a former member of the- He stopped when he felt a hand on his shoulder which belonged to Erza.
"Let them be, they've been doing away for so long they probably want to show how much they trained," The 7th guild master said calmly. "Besides, I want to see just how strong Zoro is the most."
Kagura had to agree on the last part. "Yes, Zoro's reputation as a Swordsman is far and wide, I want to see how strong he is in person."
Mest knew this wasn't the time, then again, he was curious himself a bit too. "Very well."
"Bring it, pervy chef!"
"Same here, you moss head bastard!"
They let out a battle cry and started to collide their attacks using their fighting style.
Sanji used his feet as usual.
Zoro used his Swords to block the strong kicks that his opponent was using as usual.
More citizens came to watch the duel.
"Who are those two!?"
"Dunno, but, it looks they're about to brawl!"
"This should be good,"

In another part of the town.
Fake Sanji and Zoro were searching around for the real Chopper.
"Man, to think that little pet was the real Chopper, double the credibility!"
"Ow, my side hurts!"
The two remembered when they finally told they ran into the real Chopper.
"What's that? You two ran into the real Chopper and let it get away, why did you two tell me, and why aren't two looking for it!?"
"AAAHHH!" The Fake Sanji and Zoro whimpered comically.
"Damn, we don't know where he went through!"
"Yeah, this island is so big and that stuffed animal is so small!"
The two then stopped to catch their breath.
"Forget it, we'll just walk... power walk," Fake Sanji suggested in a pant.
Walking their way was the real Strawhat Luffy, who finally decided to wear the fake mustache.
"Got to hand it that Hancock was right, this mustache is working fine for me," He said quietly.
Fake Sanji and Zoro noticed the disguised Strawhat.
"Look, it's the kid with the giant backpack,"
"Boss called him a kid, but, he looks like an old man to me,"
Luffy looked ahead and spotted the two imposters.
"Oh! Zoro, Sanji, it's been so long!"
The two imposters approached.
"Kid, you're coming with us!"
"Yeah, you messed up by making our captain angry, so, come with us to Grove 46!"
Luffy looked at them and laughed.
"Zoro, Sanji, is the rest of the crew here, if so, let's go, take me to the others," He walked on ahead.
The two imposters began to whisper again.
"He knows we're the Strawhats, but, we don't know him,"
"Let the captain sort this out!"
The two nodded at the same time and followed the real Strawhat captain to their rendezvous.
At Grove 17
Wendy and Carla met were talking with Franky, explaining what happened on Water 7.
The cyborg was crying tears of joy. "Oh! Iceberg is safe and so is my family!" He bawled out wiping a tear away with his fingers. "I'm totally in your and your friends' debt!"
Wendy laughed awkwardly. "Your welcome."
"Does he have to cry so loud?" Carla questioned covering her ears.
Pango was talking with Robin.
"To think there was Minks on the Grand Line," The Archaeologist said quite fascinated. "So, your friends are on this island,"
"Yes, like I said, we were traveling through the New World, when a strange tornado appeared from the sky and engulfed us, I managed to save my friends, I thought my time was done, however, I found myself on the Grand Line, after several months of sailing through the ocean, I met up with Fairy Tail and I joined them."
Robin was more interested than ever. "Yes, I heard of the reputation your friends made for themselves, I admit, I'm quite intrigued."

Usagi, Tigress, and Temukai were in the Sabaody Park.
"Snort...snort... Where could Pango be?" Temukai asked.
"Not sure, I heard he arrived on the island," The tiger mink spoke.
"Maybe we should contact Shakky," Usagi suggested as he took out his Trasponder snail. "Pango, just wait, we'll find you."
More of the Strawhats reunited together except for Brook, Wendy, and her group finally meet Franky and Robin, Erza's group get to know Zoro and Sanji, though, the two Strawhat pirates are about to duke it out, lastly, Luffy is found by Fake Sanji and Zoro, both are bringing him to their captain, what will happen next, find out next time.
