Freezepaw froze, as the patrol neared her. "Give us back Honeykit!" Hazellight snarled.

Fallowjay looked shocked. "I don't know what you're talking about."

"We know you have her!" Creeknut growled. Thornpaw, who was in the patrol, stood there cooly, examining her claws.

Hazellight padded closer to Freezepaw. "Don't you dare touch her!" Falconblaze shrieked.

"We won't touch her, as long as you give us Honeykit." Thornpaw mewed coolly. Falconblaze looked at Thornpaw with a look of betrayal.

"We'll fight tooth and claw for Honeykit!" Quailstreak growled.

"We don't have her!" Fallowjay protested.

"We know you do. Didn't you threaten us last time when we accidently took one of Foxstar's lives?" Leafbelly asked.

"That-we didn't mean that, you killed our leader, we were mad!" Falconblaze stammered. Thornpaw sniffed.

"You ThunderClan cats always think you can talk your way out of trouble." Thornpaw hissed, unsheathing her claws.

"Yeah," Leafbelly added. "You're always getting into other clans' business., just so every clan owes you." He sneers. Hazellight growls, taking a step towards the border.

Quailstreak snarled at them. "The one missing is the most beloved cat in the entire clan, so it makes sense that you'd steak her."

"Yeah," Hazellight agreed. "Didn't you say you'd take the one we love most?"

Somehow Fallowjay remained calm. "How would we even know Honeykit? She's not even an apprentice yet." Fallowjay sighed. Leafbelly pauses.

"That is true." He mutters begrudgingly. "And the patrol on RiverClan's border hasn't come back yet either…" Fallowjay relaxes.

"We'll keep a lookout for Honeykit." Freezepaw meows, lowering her hackles. "Wouldn't it be weird if we found her on ShadowClan territory!?" She laughs, nervously, taking a step back onto ThunderClan territory. Thornpaw glares at her.

"Falconblaze has gone soft on you." Thornpaw hisses. Freezepaw froze, as Leafbelly wrapped his tail around her.

"We're keeping her until you give us Honeykit." Hazellight growled.

"And if you don't have her by the next gathering, I'll claw her to shreds myself." Thornpaw added, flexing her claws. Sunlight glinted off of Thornpaw's claws. Falconblaze stared at her.

"Be careful." He murmured. Freezepaw looked longingly at Fallowjay and Falconblaze, as the WindClan cats led her back to their camp. Freezepaw tried to talk her way out of the situation.

"I swear it wasn't ThunderClan, if someone killed your leader, wouldn't you be mad enough to issue threats too?"

"Well, WindClan aren't ThunderClan mouse-brains, although some of the elders are." Thornpaw retorted. Rockytooth gave Thornpaw a warning glance.

After one minute, Freezepaw tried again. "We don't have Honeykit! ThinderClan would never kidnap a kit!"

"What about that time Featherclaw stole Goldenkit?" Hazellight growled.

"That-that's the story in legends, to teach kits what happens to cats like Featherclaw!" Freezepaw stammered. "Featherclaw stole kits from every clan."

"Well, why would Featherclaw be in ThunderClan if it wasn't what ThunderClan cats do all the time?" Hazellight sneered.

"That-that-your logic is very bad!" Freezepaw stammered. Thornpaw let out a huff.

"Whatever." She said, kneading the ground with her claws. The cats lead me up the hill, to a dip, with a hollow.

Then they heard a rustle in the bushes. "What's that?" Leafbelly asked suspiciously. The rustling stopped. Freezepaw strained her ears to hear a familiar voice.

"Fox-dung!" Falconblaze's voice murmured. Falconblaze had followed them.

"It's ThunderClan," Hazellight snarled after sniffing the air.

"Heh." Thornpaw smirked. "There's nothing to be worried about. There's only one cat who would be stupid enough to follow us." She raised her voice. "Falconblaze, you idiot!" Thornpaw screeched angrily.

"Well, we have two captives now." Creeknut said. Falconblaze, discovering that he'd been found out, ran out of the bush and started running back to ThunderClan. "Not so fast," Creeknut snarled. "WindClan, attack!"

Freezepaw saw this as a chance to escape. Sorry, Falconblaze. She took a step towards ThunderClan, but felt someone pin her down. "Thought we would let you escape? No way, mouse-brain," Leafbelly growled. "You're staying with us."

Soon, the fight was over. Falconblaze was badly scarred, and didn't escape. WindClan had them both. Thornpaw smirked at them. "You're a horrible fighter." she taunted, as she cornered Freezepaw to the edge of the lake. "I'm going to make sure you have a slow horrible death, dying at my claws. Imagine the pain Falconblaze will feel when you're no more." Thornpaw's malicious gaze narrowed as she backed me up towards the lake. Freezepaw could feel Falconblaze's horrified gaze. One paw-step after another, she went onto the ice, and could feel it crack beneath her weight.

"Where are you two going?" Rockytooth growled. Thornpaw glanced over at her, walking back and forth between the ice and Rockytooth.

"What are you doing?" Falconblaze shrieked. Just then, Freezepaw saw Starry Night and Squirrelheart walking towards the lake. Starry Night seemed to be resisting, unsure of where to go as she walked uncertainly.

The ice started to melt under Freezepaw's paws. Patrols from all clans near the lake were watching her and Thornpaw face off. A chill was sent through Freezepaw as a puddle started to form. Freezepaw knew her fate. The imminent watery death was approaching. Her white coat was soaked from icy water. The ice cracked beneath her paw, and she let herself fall.

"Freezepaw!" She could hear Falconblaze call. Freezepaw looked down to the bottom of the lake, expecting it to be dark and murky. But instead, she saw a world with mountains and scaly creatures with wings. Is this StarClan? Freezepaw wondered. She glanced back at the surface and saw Falconblaze swimming desperately towards her.

Freezepaw looked around. Starry Night was trying to swim but then pausing and sinking. Squirrelheart seemed to be completely panicking, which was causing him to sink more. Thornpaw was also sinking, but she seemed to be the calmest. In fact, Thornpaw was studying her claws coolly. How does she do that underwater? Freezepaw wondered with awe.

Freezepaw saw Falconblaze reaching out to grab her, but Falconblaze wasn't a RiverClan cat, and he fell in. She felt her body growing, growing, growing, and she blacked out and fainted.
