Chapter 41: Secrets Revealed
At Grove 46
Sentomaru was sitting down in front of the dead fake Straw Hat Luffy while reporting the marine base. "Listen up, the Straw Hat Pirates that were here before, were nothing but imposters." He looked at the corpse of the imposter captain before he continued
"The fake Straw Hat Luffy also injected himself with a syringe that had strange liquid inside it which turned him to some kind of monster, though, I can't imagine where this faker got something like that."
"Did you get rid of this monster?" A marine's voice asked.
"Yes, but, it wasn't me, former Vice-Admiral Gray Fullbuster and his friends killed the monster, also, it seems the Caribou and his crew have escaped including the Fake Straw Hats too, however, my men are searching for them, at any rate, I should inform that the Fairy Tail Pirates and the Straw Hats might start an alliance with each other.
He put the receiver close to his mouth with a serious look on his face. "My men saw them working together at Grove 42, so, alert the marines in the New World that they got a new threat coming their way." His eyes gazed up at the sky still having the serious look. "The Straw Hats have returned, they're even stronger than before, and the Fairy Tail Pirates are with them too."
A rear Admiral was searching around the area where the fake Strawhat ran off to.
"Men, search around this part, once you seem those fakers, make sure they don't escape!"
"Sir!" The marines saluted and split up in different directions.
Some of the marines searched everywhere for a moment.
One saw some legs lying on the ground behind a wall. "Guys, I found something!" He walked over to the other side of the broken wall and saw a grizzly sight. "AAAHHH!" He screamed in shock falling backward on his butt.
"What's with you?" A marine asked as he saw his companion pointing ahead with a frightened look.
The other marine saw the half-eaten but fake Nami. "Holy crap!" He covered his mouth trying to hold his lunch.
The other marines found the dead bodies of the fake Straw Hats killed in the same ways except for the fake Zoro, who had his throat slashed.

Rayleigh was at Grove 42, sitting on the ground gazing off into the distance.
Shakky then arrived behind the old pirate. "Too bad, they had to leave, but, they'll be just fine, Rayleigh, you worried about that Gildarts guy?"
Rayleigh chuckled a bit. "No, I'm sure he'll be fine."
Shakky took out her cigarette and blew smoke. "Yes, to think we would meet someone that looked at Shanks, I admit I was surprised." Then she held it in between two fingers and saw a smile on Rayleigh's face. "That smile on your face, something on your mind, Ray?"
That got the old pirate vice-captain's attention. "Huh? Nah, it's nothing really," Fact he was thinking about something, the day he met Gold D. Roger is a teenager and wearing the Straw Hat.

"Hi old man, that's quite a boat you got there!"
A young adult Rayleigh was relaxing on a boat. "Thanks, but, it's not mine, rather I stole after my house burn down."
"Is that so, hmm... anyway, I'm Gold D. Roger, it's destiny meeting you!" The young Roger stated with a huge smile. "How about we team up and turn this whole world upside down?"
Young adult Rayleigh was taken by surprise but then he laughed. "Heh, heh, I don't know what you're offering but, I'm not interested."
"C'mon, I bet we can work together, your ship may be small too, but, if we handle it right, it could even survive a storm!" Roger said not giving up. "We can conquerer the seas, let's set sail!
Rayleigh wasn't convinced yet and laughed again. "What do you mean "We?" I hope to meet you half-a minute ago, get your damn boat."
"One of these days, you're going to look back on this and realize it was the beginning of the greatest adventure ever known!" Roger said with a laugh.

Rayleigh felt tears come from his eyes and wiped them away with a smile. "Back then, I didn't believe much in fate, nothing happens by accident, we're just too blind to see, that hat found the right owner, as long as it sails, I'll be staying here waiting... because I want to see a new king before my time comes."
He began to think about Gildarts again. "Gildarts, you keep staying strong like Shanks, I can't wait to see what else you and your friends will do, even if you guys go back to your world." He chuckled again. "Fairy Tail Pirates, you take care yourselves."
Fairy Tail and Straw Hat Pirates sank deeper into the water, though, there was still light from the sun.
Some were sightseeing.
"This is cool!" Wendy said amazed.
"Child, did you and the other dragon slayers take the seasick pills?" Carla asked.
Wendy smiled. "You bet!"
"Yeah, this is cool, we haven't enjoyed a ship ride like forever!" Sting cheered.
Rogue chuckled. "That's for sure."
Laxus was sitting down relaxing. "Quite the scenery."
Levy admired the light that shone through the water. "Beautiful, isn't it, Gajeel?"
Gajeel just scoffed. "Looks the same as any other water to me."
Levy's cheeks puffed up as she began to comically punch the iron dragon slayer. "Geez, you... got to... ruin the mood!"
Akame came out of the deck with Mirajane, Akame was the first to speak. "Lunch will be ready soon you guys."
"Just about five minutes," Mira added with a big smile.
"Cool!"
"We're sinking, what if we get a leak, this is freaking me out!" Chopper panicked.
Nami felt a little strange too. "Yeah, feels like we're leaving the whole world behind, talk about eerie."
"No problem, I won't crap in my pants, this is nothing after all," Usopp whispered to himself.
Brook noticed the tree's roots. "So, the tree's roots can be seen under the water too."
"Yes, the tree is connected further into the sea," Robin explained.
Zoro didn't seem impressed. "Who are, I've seen this."
"That's because you got on the wrong ship!" Sanji spat comically with shark teeth. "Shut up, don't ruin the moment!"
Luffy began to look around. "Looks like we came a long way waiting, who cares, wonder what is next?" He then saw some fish swimming nearby.
Natsu and Happy noticed some fish swimming by their ship too. "Fish!"
"Yummy fishy!"
Zoro saw some too and prepared to take out one of his Swords. "Looks good to eat, here we go."
All of them prepared to attack the fish only to be stopped by Chopper, Usopp, and Lucy, who had shark teeth, all three gave the four red lumps on their heads.
"That's not funny!"
"You'll pop the bubble you two!"
"Natsu, Happy, you could've gotten us killed!"
Sanji then turned to Nami who was behind him. "Nami, you know how the coating works right, so give us some basic tips before another idiot flips out on us."
Lucy was thinking the same. "Levy, care to explain what the coating is and how it works, better do it quickly otherwise those two might flip out again."
Levy and Nami agreed to that.
"Well, Rayleigh gave me a manual, but I can summarize it, so listen closely," The moment that the navigator turned around, Sanji went into lover boy mode causing his nose to gush out blood again and he went flying through the bubble.
Some of the Fairy Tail wizards saw the scene.
"What is Sanji's deal?" Gajeel asked.
"He's a pervert that's what," Chelsea answered.
"Even Lubbock never did that before, " Leone added.
Lisanna saw this and jumped out of the Water Fairy's coating thus transforming into her mermaid form.
"Hang on!" She said grabbing ahold of the perverted cook.
"Whoa!" Franky said in surprise.
"Lisanna is a mermaid?!" Nami, Chopper, Luffy, and Usopp exclaimed in surprise.
Brook was astonished. "Such transformation!"
Zoro was a bit surprised at this. "How can she turn into a mermaid, is she hybrid or something?"
Lisanna managed to Sanji back on Sunny's deck thus she reverted to her human form.
Sanji was unconscious while getting a blood transfusion.
Chopper did press his hands on Sanji's chest getting the water out of his lungs.
Usopp wanted to know what was going so far with his friend's perverted nature. "Sanji, I know you're weak to pretty girls, but, this wasn't like you did before!"
"I think I know..." Chelsea approached the Straw Hat pirates. "Hi, I'm Chelsea, I met Sanji a while back on the island of Newkama." She then glanced at Luffy. "I believe it's the kingdom that ruled by Ivankov."
Hearing that got Luffy's attention. "Hold on, you saw Iva?"
The former recon assassin looked at the Straw hat captain in confusion for a moment. "Iva, oh, you mean Ivankov, well, I sorta landed on the island, that's when I saw some strange people, they were in men but dressed as women."
"Guess that explains then," Chopper said. "Seeing men dressed like ladies must've freaked him."
"Not mention they must've been ugly looking," Zoro added.
Chelsea had to admit that was true even though his words will a little harsh. "Anyway, when Sanji first saw me he thought I was one of those weirdos but, he realized I was a real woman, but, I couldn't stay for long, so Ivankov lend me a small boat and I was able to leave."
"Either way, it seems that Sanji might continue this nose bleed, if this keeps then he put his life in danger," Lisanna said.
"Poor guy, the horror he must've endured spending the 2 years this Newkama Kingdom, I hope he lives to see the mermaids," Brook commented.
"Anyway, we'll be back to talk later," Chelsea then transformed into Lisanna and turned into a mermaid too.
"Two Lisanna's!" Luffy, Usopp, and Chopper exclaimed with their eyes popping out.
Lisanna turned to Chelsea. "I see you've improved your transformation skills,"
The former assassin giggled. "Yes, that's not all I can do, but, that'll be for another time."

"So, Sunny's coating seems to work like those bubbles on Sabaody, meaning that objects even humans can pass through it without causing any harm," Robin spoke.
Usopp knew this wasn't the time to talk about science. "Spare us the bubble science, we got a man down here!"
Nami begged to differ. "She's right, that's what I need to tell you guys." She was holding a piece of paper with the coating instructions.
B
Fairy Tail, the three assassins, and their new friends began to eat.
Most were meat but, had some salad, water, tea, and boozes.
Akame was stuffing her face as usual. "Meat..."
Leone was chowing on some chicken. "Yum."
Chelsea was having a salad. "Good healthy food."
Carla was little concerned about the choice of food that Leone and Akame had. "You two, better watch what you eat."
Leone and Akame just ignored the cat. "So good!"
Tigress was chowing on some large chicken wings. "Mmm... yummy!"
"Akame, you make the best meal ever!"
Usagi was having a carrot soup and a side of lemonade.
Temukai was eating some chicken salad with boozes. "Snort! Care to challenge me to a drinking contest?"
Cana smirked. "Bring in it on Buffalo guy!"
"This isn't the time having a drinking contest guys," Lucy sweatdropped.
Natsu had to agree he was chowing on some large chicken wings. "Chomp... chomp... chomp..." He munched like a hungry animal.
"Geez, Natsu and Akame are alike in a way," Lucy thought remembering how much an appetite her dragon slayer friend and the assassin meat lover have.
Millianna was hugging Carla and Lily. "Kitty! Kitty! Meow!" She cooed.
"We're not your stuff animals!" Lily yelled in annoyance.
"Yeah, let go!" Carla demanded comically.
"It's a shame we can bring our food to the Straw Hats," Levy said. "I mean, we can share our food with them if we could get some to their ship."
Then Erza had an idea and she looked at Mest, who noticed her looking at him. "What?"
Chelsea then got an idea. "I'm in too." She transformed Mest.
Nami eventually finished her explanation of the coating, of course, most of the information she gave was in theory considering how there are a lot of things that could make the coating burst open on any ship.
Though, two morons were distracted by passing fish.
"One Gum-Gum Gatling, I bet I can catch all the swimming out there."
"Yeah, I bet cut enough holes in this bubble I can catch even more.
Bonk Bonk
"Weren't you two listening to Nami, that's too many holes, our chances under the sea are bad enough as it is!" Usopp comically yelled.
"I'll break your bones then stitch them together and break them again!" Chopper added.
"Anyway, what do you think of our new friends, the Fairy Tail Pirates?" Luffy asked.
"Uhh, we just met them, but, some of them met some of our friends on the Grand Line," Nami answered. "I heard that they met Princess Vivi,"
Luffy was happy to hear that. "No way, is she doing alright?"
"Lucy told me that she and others saved their kingdom from a group of bandits and navy admiral that wanted to ask Vivi to be his girl in exchange for his services,"
"No way!" Chopper and Usopp exclaimed.
"However, Lucy and some female friends of hers kicked the vice-admiral's butt," Nami concluded.
"That's a relief," Luffy sighed then he dragged the large bag in the center of the deck. "Lunchtime, I got a lot of food from Amazon Lily, so, since Sanji is out for a while, we should have a picnic."
"Yay!" All that screaming made me hungry!" Chopper cheered.
Franky had a question just to be sure. "Sounds good, but, we don't have to steer the ship, do we?"
Nami shook her head. "Nope, all we can do is a cruise down and take it easy."
"I wouldn't call it "Take it easy" But, there's something you must all know," Franky replied lifting his sunglasses above his head.
The Straw Pirates were quiet for a moment.
Linebreak
Eventually, Franky began to explain what happened during the first year when Duval, Hatchan, and the rest of the Rosy Life Rider and struggling against the navy, learning that they got hurt in the battle and couldn't battle for a while, which forced Hatchan to return to Fishman Island due to his injuries.
Usopp asked who was protecting the Sunny after the first year, that's when Franky reveals that Kuma was the one, he added that he found him still protecting the Sunny, learning from Rayleigh the warlord was a member of the Revolutionary Army and was told that his time as a human was fading.
Franky continued to on telling that Kuma's body parts were replaced with robotic ones, which caused his personality to be completely erased. Chopper questioned how Kuma was still able to protect the Sunny despite his personality being erased.
The famous pirate cyborg theorized that Kuma might've made a deal with the famous Dr. Vegapunk which he might've programmed one final mission into the warlord's brain "Defend the Thousand Sunny from any attacks until a Straw Hat returns".
Zoro questioned Kuma's reason for helping.
Usopp guessed that the warlord did for Luffy's father, due to his old man being the leader of the Revolutionary Army.
The moment the story was told, Sanji woke up and was still upset that he was sent to Newkama.
Mest, Akame, and Leone then arrived on the Sunny's deck.
"You guys need something?" Zoro said cautiously.
"Geez, if I knew about your manners I could've asked Erza to come," Mest scoffed.
Leone patted the former council member on the shoulder. "Hey, be nice, besides, we need to inform them something really important,"
The Straw Hats minus Robin were confused.
Mest sighed and began to approach the pirates. "Listen, I'm Mest Gryder, I'm a member of Fairy Tail and former member of the Magic Council,"
"Magic Council?" Usopp questioned.
"Magic, did you say magic?" Robin wondered in thought, though she was little interested.
"Hold on, when you say magic, you like magic from a fairy tale story or something?" Nami asked.
Mest nodded.
"C'mon, magic doesn't exist," Usopp laughed doubtfully.
Mest knew this was going to happen. "Very well, I have no choice," He snapped his fingers and then his memories were being revealed, which was him as a younger man when he first had his talk with Makarov about the Alverez Empire's plans.
"Mest, I want you to infiltrate the magic council and find out any info on Alverez Empire, they're our enemies and we should know what they have in store for us."
"Where the heck are we?" Sanji wondered.
Though Nami had a different question. "How did we get here is more like it?"
Zoro was starting to get weirded out. "Listen, Mest, what is this?"
"What you all are seeing is my memories back when I was still a member of the wizard guild Fairy Tail," Mest answered.
"Fairy Tail, that's the same title as their pirate crew," Usopp thought.
"How are we seeing this memory of yours?" Robin asked seemingly intrigued.
"My magic is Memory Control, I can use to show my memories as well as others, I can create fake memories or erase others even my own," Mest explained.
"So, I presume, we're not seeing fake memories," Zoro said.
"That's correct, like I said, what you're seeing is what I was doing before I joined the Magic council," Mest replied. "I continued to use my magic to create false or erase memories when I needed to, on top of that, I used my powers to share with my friends about a mission that Makarov was on before he disbanded Fairy Tail."
Mest decided to show the pirates the part when he jumped in to save Makarov, only to be chased by one of the Spriggin Twelve, until they ambushed by Tartaros.
The Straw hats were surprised at seeing monsters that they had never seen before.
"What are those things?" Usopp asked.
Dr. Stylish appeared as a gargoyle.
Luffy was amazed rather than scared. "A giant bat!"
"No, he's a Gargoyle," Mest sighed on the verge of facepalming.
"What kind of guild is Tartaros?" Sanji asked.
"A dark guild, each one had human wizards ones that caused havoc even death to innocents," Mest answered. "However, the guild Tartaros had Demons instead of humans."
"DEMONS!" Usopp, Brook, Chopper, and Nami screamed comically.
"I'm guessing they were the one's dark guilds?" Robin presumed.
"Yes... but that's beside the point of what showing you," Mest said.
A portal opened in the middle of the ocean, sucking some of the Fairy Tail wizards along with some of the Demons.
"What was that in the ocean?" Zoro questioned in great surprise.
"It looked some kind of door and came out of nowhere too," Robin guessed.
"What you saw was the power of one the gateways," Mest answered. "As I said, my friends and I came from a world called: Earthland, where magic lives on, each magic is different, in the wrong hands, magic could cause havoc and destruction, but, in the right hands, magic can save lives."
"Earthland... Luffy began to say before his face shown great excitment. "Do you think any wizards could join our crew!?"
"Idiot..." Zoro and Sanji whispered knowing that their captain was going to get that idea again.
Leone giggled. "Quite a spirited young man and kinda cute."
Bonk Bonk
"Moron, this isn't the time!" Nami barked with shark teeth.
Robin caught the first detail of what Mest. "You said that one of these "Gateways", I assume that there's another gateway somewhere?"
Mest deactivated his magic and sighed as he glanced at the three assassins, they noticed his face and asked them if they should show them their memories only for the three to nod.
The former council member took a deep breath and looked at the pirates. "First, before I show you, I must give you a heads up, what you'll see from these three, their memories won't be pleasant, nor something you all would've imagined."
Usopp was shaken up by the warning. "T-that sounds creepy..."
"Just show us, but, you might make it quick, the further we get down to the sea level, the less time we'll have time to continue this conversation," Zoro suggested.
Mest looked at the three assassins again and all nodded, which the memory control wizard activated his spell again.
The pirates soon saw a city full of people, some were guards walking around.
"Wow, is this city?" Luffy wondered in a "Wow" expression.
Leone laughed. "Yes, but, this is the capital, where an empire rules and their Emperor Makato reigns."
"Empire, does this mean this emperor is rich!?" Nami asked with berry cash signs in her eyes.
Chelsea was a little weirded out by the navigator's attitude. "Gee, talk about a money lover,"
There walking around the city was past Leone, in her old outfit.
"Wow, that's an outfit!" Sanji was about to have a nosebleed until Usopp bonked the perverted chef on the head. "Idiot, do that again, you'll be in a death state!"
"Yo-ohohoh!" Brook laughed with pink hues on his skull cheeks. "Leone, wearing that outfit is so daring!"
Bonk Bonk
"Stop that you perverted skeleton!" Nami barked once again.
Present Leone was disliking the two pirate's perverted nature. "Man, they're worse than Lubbock."
A few minutes pass until Leone stumbles a browned-haired teenager. "Hello!" She looked down while Tatsumi leaned his head back. "Why the long face little guy, but, well, no matter, big sis is here."
Next then was Tatsumi had a gaping jaw slightly blushing as his eyes were gazing at the blond's busty chest.
Robin giggled at the browned-haired boy. "He's kinda cute."
Sanji on the other head was infuriated. "I know that look!" He attempted to kick the teenage boy on the head only for his foot to go through. " What the heck?"
"Sorry, but, this is just a memory, so, you can't actually kick someone let alone punch or anything else," Mest informed.
Nami thought otherwise. "If he's like the perverted cook and skeleton, then I'll charge him for looking at my chest."
Past Leone noticed Tatsumi's the boy's goofy reaction. "Try to focus little guy." She then went into a pub with the boy and had lunch.
Sanji was infuriated on the other hand. "That lucky bastard... having lunch with a beautiful woman."
Leone explained to Tatsumi about her little secret about becoming a general, then had him hand over his cash, eventually she revealed that she tricked the boy.
Nami had to admit she was impressed on the display of snatching Tatsumi's money, thinking she should try that sometime."
"That wasn't very nice," Usopp said little ashamed of the blonde girl. "Then again, I've seen scammers before." He was referring to Nami.
The navigator noticed the pirate sniper's face. "Why are you looking at me?"
The scene went dark.
"So, who's the boy?" Franky asked.
"He's Tatsumi, a young boy that wanted to join the Imperial Army to save his village from starvation," Leone explained. "He came with two childhood friends of his Sayo and Ieyasu to the capital."
Usopp, Franky, Brook, and Chopper began to cry with tears of happiness. "Tatsumi and his friends are so nice!"
"To save their village from starvation is super!"
"Yeah, such good-hearted souls!"
"I hope their village will survive!"
Akame then had a serious look on her face which Zoro noticed. "I assume you three have something else to tell us, which I pretty much guess it's something that we weren't expecting to see." Akame didn't look back instead she responded by nodding her head.
The scene changed into the nighttime.
Leone was in her beast form. "Whoa, what happened to your hair?" Nami asked at the surprise appearance.
The blond assassin didn't answer, instead, she saw her past self dash towards an old man, who she grabbed by the neck using her paw-like hand. "Please... spare my daughter... don't kill her..."
The Straw Hats in were shocked.
"Leone, what the hell are you doing that old man?" Usopp asked in jaw-dropping, he noticed something odd about the girl's hand and at the lower part of her back. "Hold on, she's got beast-like claws and... a tail."
"Kill her daughter, what he does mean?" Nami asked while looking at the present Leone.
"You'll find out and believe me, it's something going to shock you all," She replied with her eyes closed.
Snap.
The old man's neck was broken and was dropped on the floor.
"Ah! She snapped his neck!" Usopp panicked in fright.
Zoro had to admit this wasn't what he was expecting, then again, something was up, besides Leone killing this old man, he had a strange ominous feeling about the mansion.
The next scene changed, showing Akame's memory when she with some other assassins, watching above to where Gray, Juvia, and Taran confront Guarry about the grisly details from the mother's diary and the disturbing photo in the parent's room, eventually, the bodyguards including Guarry himself were defeated.
Akame introduced herself and told the three wizards about the family, the three suddenly run off to find Tatsumi while the young assassin went off to find the last target.
The scene changed once again, where Akame discovers Aria with a bodyguard at a storehouse, Tatsumi arrived before her.
"That little girl with the dress is so cute!" Sanji swooned at the young blonde child.
"That girl, she must be the old man's daughter, I presume?" Robin questioned.
"Yes, her name is Aria, she's a girl that must be punished," Present Akame replied.
"Punished, for what?" Chopper asked.
Akame kills Aria's last bodyguard and tries to slay the little girl until Tatsumi intervened, but, the young assassin didn't let up so she fought against him
Akame ended up stabbing Tatsumi in the chest until he got up with a smirk. "Why'd you back off?"
"I felt like I stabbed some kind of armor," Past Akame answered
Tatsumi took out a wooden statue. "Looks like my village was keeping an eye on me."
"That's the quite interesting statue," Robin thought little intrigued.
Just as Akame was about to cut off Tatsumi's head, Leone stopped her. "Hold on, let's show him what's going, I figured I owe him a favor."
"You're the girl with the boobs!" The teenage boy pointed out recognizing her voice.
"Yes, that's me!" Leone replied with a grin. "Anyway, you think we came here to kill innocent people, but, once you see what's behind that door, you'll see otherwise."
The Lionel user kicked the iron-like door.
"Whoa, she kicked that iron door down like it was nothing!" Nami exclaimed.
"What a woman!" Sanji said with red hearts in his eyes.
Tatsumi followed as well as the Straw Hats, what was inside was a grisly sight.
Tatsumi was the first to speak at this gruesome sight. "What is this?
Mest wondered the same thing "What the hell is this?!"
Nami covered her eyes in fright. "How horrible!"
Usopp was on the verge of tears. "No, this is some of the sick jokes, right?" Then again, it wasn't.
Robin couldn't believe what she was seeing, but, realized what the three assassins' warning was about.
Chelsea sighed. "It's natural, you would react this way since Tatsumi reacted the same way." She was right.
"Holy crap!" Franky yelled. "All these people are dead, but, in different various ways!" Noticing were dead with body parts missing while some died in cages.
Zoro's eyes had shock and anger, though he didn't say a word.
"What happened to these poor souls?" Brook questioned in thought.
Chopper was horrified at the sight. "No, this can't be!"
Luffy growled in anger... "Damn it, what is this crap?"
As if past Leone heard them. "This family had a fancy of picking up people that from the countryside, plus they tortured them for their sick twisted amusement."
Tatsumi began to walk in further and saw a familiar figure tied up to a wrist lock. "No, it can't be... S-s-Sayo..."
"Sayo?" Robin wondered.
"Is that one of Tatsumi's friends?" Franky questioned.
Aria was trying to sneak away until Leone grabbed her by the head. "Not so fast, we ain't done with you, sweetie."
"Aria, did you and your family do this?" Tatsumi questioned, not looking back.
Past Leone decided to answer that. "Yes they did, on top of that, their guards are just as guilty for keeping their secret hush-hush."
"He's right, take look at these pictures," Gray tossed the photo's towards the boy, catching them and gasping again at what he saw. "The father had a habit of taking pictures of himself with the dead bodies like it was a hobby too."
"They're lying, I had no idea that my parents were doing stuff like this!" Aria defended herself.
Zoro could tell the little brat was lying. "She's lying."
"Well, you're quite observant for someone with a bad sense of direction," Akame praised despite not smiling.
The green-haired man ignored "The bad sense of directions" part, and continued to watch the scene as Aria continued to deny her lies until...
"T-T-Tatsumi... is... is... that you?" A low sickly voice asked in the shadows.
The brown-haired teen looked to the left and in his horror, there was Ieyasu, in a sickly condition, his body was covered in redden spots, his eyes were so weak.
"Oh no!" Chopper cried. "He's sick, I need to help him!"
Robin grabbed the reindeer by his arms. "Chopper no!" She struggled to hold on to the little animal.
"What are you saying, this boy needs help!" The reindeer pleaded in tears. "I'm doctor, I need to"
"Chopper..." The reindeer looked at Robin, who had her eyes covered by her bangs. "This is a memory we're seeing, so, you can't help him."
Ieyasu put his arm out. "That girl, she brought Sayo and I to her place, after she gave us something to eat, everything went dark, then we found ourselves here, he tortured both of us, but, she mostly tortured Sayo out of a petty jealously."
Aria pulled herself away as she began to scream. "Fine! Fine! I did this okay!" Her true nature was shown with a twisted freaky expression on her face. "PEASANTS ARE NOTHING BUT LIVESTOCK FOR WHAT I SEE FIT! THAT GIRL, SHE HAD SUCH NICE HAIR BUT SHE DIDN'T DESERVE IT, SO, I TREATED HER SPECIAL, SHE SHOULD'VE BEEN HAPPY THAT GAVE HER SO MUCH ATTENTION! UNGRATEFUL BITCH!"
The Straw Hats were taken off guard by the rich girl's disturbing tantrum as well as Gray, Juvia, and Taran.
"She's scarier than Nami!" Usopp, Chopper, and Brook screamed in horror.
Nami was shaken to hear the three pirates' comment.
"Holy crap, talk about twisted!" Franky yelled with his jaw gaping open.
Robin was a little shaken up a bit too. "Yes, imagine what her family's twisted nature is like."
"Don't put that image in our heads!" Nami, Usopp, and Chopper snapped.
Sanji didn't say a word as his hair hid his eyes.
"That girl has a dark twisted personality," Zoro said with a disgusted look on his face, even though he felt a slight chill go down his spine.
Luffy gritted his teeth in anger. "You jerk!" He roared out as he pulled back his arm. "Gum-Gum Pistol!" He extended it forward, only for his attack to go through the rich girl's head.
"You moron, you didn't hear what Robin said, this is just a memory, so, you can't do anything meaning you can't punch anyone!" Usopp reminded with shark teeth.
Past Akame took out her sword, which caught Zoro's attention. "That's unusual Sword." He thought with interest.
"Wait..." Everyone looked at Tatsumi, who began to walk towards the girl.
"Is he seriously going to defend her?" Nami questioned.
Past Leone asked the same question. "You're kidding, you're still going to defend her?"
As if past Tatsumi heard the two women. "No, I'll do it!" He swiftly cut Aria's abdomen with a single slash and killed her.
Sanji took out a cigarette, lit it, and inhaled, he then blew out some smoke without saying a word.
Tatsumi placed his sword back in its sheath.
"Thank you...Tatsumi... I needed to see that," Ieyasu said his voice getting weaker and weaker as he coughed out blood.
Tatsumi got his friend out of the cage and held him up. "Hold on, we'll get you some help!"
"What kind of sickness is this?" Nami questioned.
As for the past, Akame heard her. "The Lubora virus..." Everyone including past Tatsumi looked in the young assassin's direction, who was holding a book. "In this diary, the mother wrote every detail of every victim's reactions from each medicine she injected them with."
"Talk about sick," Chopper growled. "Medicine is supposed to help people, using it to cause pain is disgusting."
Robin saw the look of disgust in the reindeer's eyes. "He's angry, I don't blame him, anyone using the medicine for twisted experiments is disgraceful."
"What does this mean for Ieyasu's condition?" Usopp asked.
"It means, his condition is worse," Chopper answered. "In a final stage of a serious virus means the patient is on the verge of death, though, what surprises me that he's so far away that anyone normal person would die."
"Tat-su-mi..." Ieyasu said his eyes growing dim. "Sayo never breaks in, no matter how much that girl tortured her, she kept being strong."
He put his arm up with a proud smile. "So, I wanted to go out as a hero." In a second, he dropped dead as Tatsumi hugged his childhood friend. "What is wrong with this place?"
Akame had something to say. "His sheer willpower is what kept him alive."
Usopp, Chopper, Franky, and Brook cried at the boy's dying words. "Ieyasu was so brave!"
"Such a good speech from the kid!"
"Oh! He's SUPERRR!"
"That poor lad, but, in the end, he stood strong and was to see his friend thus saving more people from falling victim to this family!"
Zoro stood up and bowed in respect. "He's probably someone I can respect."
Luffy put took his hat off and held it to his chest in respect. "Ieyasu, you would... make an excellent on my crew."
Past Akame is about to leave until Leone questions Tatsumi and the four wizards.
After some talking, Leone carried with Tatsumi while the four wizards followed onto the mansion's rooftop, where the other Night Raid assassins were waiting.
"Akame, Leone, where have you been?" A pinkette girl asked.
"Who is that?!" Sanji swooned in question with hearts in his eyes.
"Recruits," Leone replied with a grin.
Tatsumi was dropped but got back up to question the blonde woman, only for Akame to tell him that he can't win whatever argument he might want to start.
"Bulat, he's all yours," The blonde woman was talking to the armored man.
"Whoa, that armor looks ancient," Robin said quite intrigued.
"That is so cool!" Luffy, Chopper, Usopp, and Franky stated with stars in their eyes.
"Geez, they're like kids on Christmas," Chelsea thought with a sweatdrop.
Tatsumi struggled to get free from Bulat's arm. "Put me down, I don't want to murder people!"
"Oh, it gets better!" Bulat replied in a heavenly tone.
Sanji and Zoro felt a weird sensation from the armored man. "Strange, felt like a strange chill went through my spine." They whispered in unison.
Soon Night Raid went off into the darkness with Tatsumi along with the three wizards of Earthland.
Mest's deactivated his magic. "So, that was the beginning of what the Capital was like," He thought. "I have a feeling there's going to be more."
"As you can see, we're assassins in a group called: Night Raid," Akame began to explain as she noticed the water current was getting a bit stronger. "I would talk more, however, our time is getting short, the fact is, the empire is corrupted, run by an evil minister that's the cause of the evil, that's where Night Raid and the Revolutionary Army come in, to destroy the evil minister and create a new peaceful era."
"I see, I take it since you are all here, you must've succeeded," Robin guessed.
"Right, though, we lost companions, for me, I used to be part of a different group before I joined Night Raid, but, that's for another time," Akame replied with a blank expression. "Anyway, I can be assured that you guys have nothing to worry about, we're not part of the World Government, but, to ensure our trust."
Akame presented the group with a pile of fried chicken on a large plate.
Luffy was the first to react. "WOW, MEAT!" He drooled then he looked back at the girl. "Okay, we can trust you three."
"WHAT!?" Zoro and Franky questioned comically.
"Just like that!" Usopp and Chopper added with jaw-dropping expressions.
"Ah!" Nami exclaimed in surprise.
Robin just giggled.
Brook laughed. "Yo-ohohoh, any girl that's this cute is fine with me."
Chelsea wasn't too surprised, she remembered that she won Akame's trust using a lollipop.
Sanji cupped the assassin's hands. "Oh! A female cook like you is like an angel in the kitchen!" He swooned. "How about you join the Straw Hats and we can be the first couple in the kitchen!" He then went over to Luffy. "Please, Luffy, beg her to join us, please!"
The Straw Hat captain was too busy eating the fried chicken to hear his cook.
Bonk
"Pervert!" Leone punched the cook on the head knocking him out leaving red lumps on his head.
Zoro smirked at the display. "Moron had that coming." The blonde assassin took out a wine bottle. "Here, this is a red wine that I bought from Shakky, it's not much, but, take it as a present."
The Straw Hat vice-captain smirked as he opened the bottle and took a sip. "Heh... good stuff..."
"Anyway, as we mentioned before, we think that Fishman Island is in danger, Fairy Tail's old enemies might be lurking on Fishman Island, where they are, I don't know," Mest explained. "I know, we just met, we might need your help, but, I'll give you more details once we're close to Fishman Island, is that understood?"
"Yeah, sure, no problem," Luffy replied like it was no big deal.
"What?" Nami, Usopp, and Chopper shouted comically.
"Looks like we're going to have some action," Zoro said as he held the bottle away from his mouth.
"Sweet, whoever gets in our way, my new weapons will destroy anything," Franky smirked.
"I will not allow the mermaids of Fishman Island to be in danger of such enemies," Brook said with a determined look.
Sanji woke from his unconscious state. "So will, I... however, that reminds, I was hoping that Kuma was still around..." His face changed from calm to angry. "Because I want to kick his metal face in!"
"Now, now, Sanji..." Brook said trying to calm the cook. "All of us had our share of troubles, before, I got into the concert deal, I was trapped in a cage, but, anyway, our voyage is awaiting."
Sanji continued his complaining.
"YOU DON'T KNOW MAN! YOU DON'T KNOW ANYTHING!"
On the Water Fairy Ship.
The Fairy Tail Pirates were enjoying the last part of their meal, dessert.
Erza was chowing on some Strawberry cake. "So good." She said with a happy expression.
Akame, Leone, and Chelsea returned to the ship, explaining what they told.
Mest went to talk to Makarov, explaining what he saw, the old man was quite shocked to hear such twisted people with inhumane stuff that was horrifying and disgusting.
"I never knew that some people would do such things to poor commoners," The former guild master said looking quite upset.
"Yes, I also got a bad feeling that there's more to the empire than meets the eye, however, considering that we're further down in the sea, we can talk more of this later, once we return to Fairy Tail," Mest said.
The former guild master agreed. "Understood."
Following the two ships were Caribou and his crew. "Brother, Fairy Tail, and the Straw Hat Pirates are up ahead!" Coribou pointed out.
"I know, once we get closer, we'll be able to take them on easy," Caribou said with a creepy smile.
Usopp was walking on the back of the ship. "Geez, talk about an unexpected, assassin from another world that fought against evil while in the other there's magic, something I never thought of coming up with for my stories."
He then looked further behind. "What's way back there?" He took out a telescope and looked ahead. "Guys, we got an enemy ship!"
Akame sensed the evil aura from the enemy ship. "We got company!"
Each crew member from the two ships looked ahead.
"Whose ship is that?" Mest and Nami questioned at the same time.
"It's Wet-Haired Caribou and his brothers!" Usopp and Chelsea replied together.
"They must've escaped from Sabaody!" Erza and Zoro thought.
Leone cracked her knuckles. "Perfect, I'll make sure those bastards get their skulls smashed."
"That's little overkill," Lucy sweatdropped.
"Meow...but at least we can show them the power of Mermaid Heel," Millianna said in a cat-like tone. "Right, Kagura?'
The female Swordsman nodded with a cold stare while looking at the incoming pirate ship. "Right."
Now the Straw Hats and the Fairy Tail Pirate decided to travel to Fishman Island to fight off the danger that threatens there, however, Caribou and his crew are now approaching both crews, what will happen next, find out next time.
