Chapter 43: Escaping the Flying Dutchman

During the past 2 years, the Straw Hat Pirates were busy doing their training.

Meanwhile, the Fairy Tail Wizards and former assassins of Night Raid end up in the One Piece World after trying to rescue the former guild master Makarov, despite going through some tough challenges, they all reunite with each other and earned some bounties.

While sailing through the Grand Line, they make new friends, Fujika member of the Kuja Pirates, Miyaka, a former member of the Navy.

Then they become friends with four Minks

Temukai the Water Buffalo Mink

Tigress the Tiger Mink

Usagi the Rabbit Mink

Pango the Panda Bear Mink

And lastly, Aquapad the Marlin Fishman.

Together with their friends, they meet the famous Straw Hat Pirates and team up to get to Fishman Islan after explaining the new threat that takes place there.

Now the two pirate groups face off against the Kraken.

"NOW THIRD GEAR!" Luffy inhaled his body and his right arm stretched up, then his left arm enlarged, and then power he inhaled to it went to his left arm which grew even larger than ever.

Due to his Devil Fruit powers, he began to struggle, but that wouldn't stop him. "Armament..." His right hand became metallic.

"Whoa, kind of move is that?" Usopp questioned in surprise.

The four Minks had jaw-dropping and were silent too.

Gajeel grinned. "Quite impressive kid."

Natsu was a little jealous. "Aw man, I want to do that too!"

Sting and Rogue were in awe. "Holy crap!"

"That's some move!"

Lector was taken off guard. "Holy, I heard that guy was strong, but, seeing something like this is new!"

"I think so too," Froch agreed.

Laxus chuckled with a small smile. "That kid's power is something alright." He chuckled again. "He might be a worthy opponent someday."

"That's some manly power!" Elfman exclaimed in surprise.

Mirajane just smiled. "He's strong alright."

Gildarts laughed. "That kid's power is something alright, he reminds of Natsu, such spirit and full of fire, sorta speak." Another thought occurred to him. "Imagine if he was a member of Fairy Tail."

Makarov heard that last comment which made him freeze with a gaping mouth. "Bills...raising...high...no...no..."

Erza was greatly impressed. "I heard he was training for the past two years, he must've gained a new power."

Aquapad wasn't too surprised. "No surprise from what Hatchen told me about him." He didn't expect less from the famous Straw Hat Luffy.

Leone put her hand under her chin with great interest. "Such power, quite intriguing." She saw the struggle he was going through, but, he kept going with the flow. "He's got such spirit, reminds of Tatsumi."

Akame was silent, but, she was impressed as a small smile appeared on her face.

The Kraken was getting impatient so he reached out with one of his tentacles.

"Crap, that octopus won't wait patiently... Alright, Blue Walk!" He dashed out of the coating in a flash.

"Oh my, Sanji left his bubble!" Brook proclaimed in awe.

"He's even faster in the sea like a Fishman!" Usopp added in amazement.

"He's running the sea!" Lisanna exclaimed in surprise.

"That's manly but reckless!" Elfman added.

"Yeah, he'll have to hold his breath," Usagi commented.

"Diable Jambe:Bien Cuit Grill Shot!" Sanji proclaimed as his right foot turned fiery red and delivered a strong kick at the Kraken's tentacle which burned it badly causing the beast to roar in pain.

"That was some kick!" Lector said with a gaping mouth.

"He's not called "Black Leg" for nothing," Rogue commented.

Sting grinned. "Despite his obsession with girls, he knows to kick some major butt,"

The Kraken reached out to Sanji with another one of his tentacles, however, Zoro get in the way. "Three Sword Style: Crossing the Six Path!"

He took out his three Swords and cut through the Kraken's tentacle into pieces.

Kagura was quite impressed. "Roronora Zoro, he's quite the skilled Swordsman." She placed her hand on her own blade's handle. "I hope we can fight someday."

Erza felt the same way and she smiled impressively. "I heard he wants to become the Greatest Swordsman in the world... I hope I get the chance to challenge him someday."

"That's so sweet!" Bickslow laughed with a huge smile. "Right babies!"

"Right! Right!" His dolls chatted.

"Whoa, that was so cool!" Pango exclaimed in a jaw-dropping expression.

"Geez, you guys have to be so loud," Carla groaned.

Sanji groaned in annoyance. "I could've handled that moss head."

Hearing that caught the green-haired man's attention. "You say something, pervert cook?"

The two glared at each other like they wanted to brawl.

"Those guys always to have to fight each other, talk about hotheads," Natsu said shrugging.

"Yeah, those two shouldn't fight like a couple of kids," Gajeel agreed.

"Talk about calling the cattle black," Sting and Rogue thought, plus remembering the two fist fighting during their match in the Grand Magic Games.

"Hey, I said no cutting it, I want to capture it!" Luffy shouted as he extended his enlarged metal-like hand towards Kraken. "Gum-Gum-Elephant Gun!"

He punched the Kraken's face with great force that made it cough out blood a bit and was seemingly knocked out.

Caribou was lost for words, he never knew that Luffy was so strong.

"He blew it away!" Usopp exclaimed.

Nami was trying to make sense of what she saw. "What kind of training to Luffy go through?"

"He attacked underwater too!" Brook added.

Fairy Tail and their friends were in awe.

"That little show-off," Gajeel huffed.

Natsu was so impressed. "That was awesome!"

Suddenly an animal came out of the Kraken's grasp.

"Do you guys see that?" Chopper and Wendy pointed out.

A huge shark was struggling to get out of the Kraken's grasp and was eventually freed.

Sanji noticed the strange shirt it was wearing. "Why is that shark wearing a shirt?"

"Not an average shark I saw before," Temukai said.

The giant shark swim over to the three Straw Hats Pirates and began to nod its face in gratitude.

"What is it doing?" Sanji asked.

"Perhaps for saving it may be," Zoro guessed.

"It seems friendly too, "Wendy said in amazement.

Aquapad gasped in realization after observing the shark. "Wait... is that... Megalo!"

Everyone from Fairy Tail heard that.

"Megalo?" Lucy wondered in confusion.

"That must be the Shark's name," Lily guessed.

"Megalo, over here, it's me, Aquapad!" The Marlin Fishman was waving his arms getting the huge to swim over to Water Fairy.

The shark had a huge smile on his face showing rows of sharp teeth.

"It seems friendly alright," Lucy said nervously.

Happy was a bit nervous too. "I like to eat fish, but, this one is bigger than the ones I eat."

Wendy walked closer to the shark. "Hi!" She greeted with a smile.

"Child, be careful, those creatures are very dangerous!" Carla lectured.

Wendy put her hand as Megalo got closer so that the child could touch it. "Feels strange, but he's so friendly." She giggled and began to pet the shark gently.

Suddenly there was a sound coming through the water.

"Hey, guys, we got a problem!" Gildarts yelled.

The four dragon slayers saw this.

"Crap, this current has gotten stronger!" Gajeel pointed out.

"Yeah, and it seems to pull us further down!" Rogue added with great concern.

"Damn, I hope the seasick pills we took last a little longer!" Sting said.

"That's right, we took since we got on Sabaody, which means we got an hour before the effects wear off," Natsu said feeling a bit sick at the moment.

"Damn it, the current is pulling us down too!" Sanji yelled.

"At this rate, we'll be pulled deeper, we need to get the ship!" Zoro added gesturing to the others.

"Right!" Luffy nodded in agreement.

However, the current was so strong that the eight pirates couldn't return to their ships, along with the unconscious Kraken were pulled deeper into the seafloor.

"Our friends are being swept by the Downward current!" Robin said.

"Those idiots should've kept their safety ropes on!" Cana added.

"Never mind that we must go after them!" Gildarts suggested.

"Right, Erza, take the hull and get us further down!" Makarov ordered.

"Right!" The scarlet mage saluted as she went to the ship's hull.

The Straw Hats did the same, but they including their new friends were flying around the coating.

"I'm getting dizzy!" Happy cried.

"Pull yourself together tomcat!" Carla spatted.

"I hope I don't lose my lunch," Temukai groaned.

"Me too," Pango said feeling a bit ache.

"Thanks for sharing that detail, you idiots!" Tigress spat in disgust comically.

"Talk about going around!" Fujika yelped with dizzy eyes.

"Erza, turn hard to port, at this rate the ship will take serious damage!" Makarov ordered.

"Right!" Erza turned the hull to the right with all her might.

"Keep the sails straight!"

Gildarts, Elfman, Laxus, and Temukai pulled the ropes that were attached to the sails and kept them straight.

Luffy was enjoying the ride while Zoro and Sanji kept their composure through the current.

A short time later.

Fairy Tail and their friends woke up.

"Where are we?" Lucy wondered.

"It seems we went deeper into the sea where it's dark," Erza answered.

"Damn, it's dark as a dark cave," Bickslow groaned.

"Like pitch black," Evergreen added.

"Meow, it's pitch black all around us, everywhere is darkness," Millianna commented a little scared.

"Yes, the Straw Hats are nowhere in sight," Wendy said looking worried.

"Guys, Natsu, Sting, Rogue, and Gajeel aren't in sight too!" Lector yelped in a panic.

"They gotten lost somewhere," Freed guessed.

"I suppose we can only hope that they're alright," Erza said. "Anyway, for now, we'll have to search while we go further down."

"She's right, they must've gone further down somewhere," Carla said.

"Aquapad, you were in the sea, surely, you must know where we are, right?" Tigress said hoping.

The Marlin Fishman began to sweat. "Unfortunately, I don't know, I haven't been to this part of the ocean in a while, not to mention, I took a different path after I left about a year ago, I would've told you guys this sooner, but, I was excited on meeting the Straw Hats that it slipped my mind."

"Great, so basically, we're lost," Chelsea thought.

"Don't worry, I got something," Fujika said bringing out a large bag. "It was from the mayor's daughter from Pucci Island, she gave some useful items that were said to be from Skypiea."

"Skypiea?" Lisanna wondered in confusion.

"It's the place that's in the sky, a sky island to be precise," The former Kuja pirate explained. "I heard they have quite the sights to be seen."

"An island in the sky, that's insane!" Bickslow yelled comically.

"That sounds interesting though," Wendy said looking intrigued.

"Anyway, I got this, Light Dial" It was a huge light bulb "It might help us if we have electricity."

"In that case..." Mirajane walked over to the former Kuja pirate and handed over a sheet of paper. "Here, Iceberg gave this to me and told me to keep it until the time was right."

Laxus had an idea, so, he walked over to the item and used his magic to power on the dial.

The light was so bright that it lit up some part of the darkness.

"Quite bright!" Lily said covering his eyes.

Fujika read it. "I see, so, there appears to be a hidden hatch in the center of its stomach, we must open it and put the dial-in and then clap two times."

"Let me handle that," Aquapad said taking the dial and swimming towards the front of the ship. "Let's see, where is the hidden switch." He felt every inch of the statue and then his fingers pressed a hidden button which opened a secret hatch, so he put the light dial inside.

"Fits perfectly," He said swimming back to the ship's deck and clapping two times.

The light glowed through the statue's wings including the eyes and shined brightly through the darkness, but, barely. "The light is bright, but, the light can barely shine through the darkness," Makarov stated.

"Considering we're in deeper into the ocean, that would be the case," Carla said.

Lucy had other thoughts. "Either way, that's incredible, our statue has glowing wings, I wish Mavis was here to see this."

"Aquapad, I got a question, how do you know that shark?" Lisanna asked.

Everyone looked at the Fishman. "Oh, Megalo you mean, he's the pet of Shirahoshi,"

"Shirahoshi?" Freed questioned.

"The mermaid princess," Aquapad answered.

"Mermaid Princess!" The entire Fairy Tail crew exclaimed.

"A princess huh?" Leone said a little interested.

"Yes, Megalo is the pet of the mermaid princess Shirahoshi, he's usually with her, but, to see him out here is another story," Aquapad said putting his hand under his chin. "Anyway, he's no longer around, so, I guess he went back home,"

Just then a swarm of Jellyfish was swimming by.

"Those are huge!" Bickslow exclaimed.

"Huge! Huge!" His dolls chanted.

All different kinds of sea fish were swimming by, all of them were freaky looking.

"Scary..." Lucy whimpered in fright.

"Ugly too," Tigress added.

"I don't think I could eat them," Happy said shivering. "Then again, I could go for a fish about now."

"Seriously!?" Carla questioned comically.

Cana began to drink a bit. "Man, I'm bored, I hope that Luffy kid is alright, he was kind of cute in a way."

"Seriously!?" Levy and Lucy questioned the card mage's words.

Leone had to admit that too. "I hope that rubber boy is alright too."

"Not you too," Gray said with a sweatdrop.

Megalo returned to Fishman Island.

The three Princes of Fishman Island were portraying the areas.

"Gee, brothers, there is still no sign of Vander Decker nor his ship either, no sireee~

"Hee-yah, this makes me want to dance through boredness,"

"Brothers, we need to keep searching, for our sister's sake,"

Their giant eel companion then looked ahead and came to a stop. "What is wrong?"

"Chaw! Chaw! Chaw!" Megalo was swimming towards the three Merman giants.

"Megalo, he returns, such a miracle to ussss!"

"That makes me want to dance all out in joy!"

"Megalo, glad you're safe, what happened to you?"

Megalo explained in his shark language.

Nearby in the water was a figure spying on the three prince mermen.

"Sounds like Aquapad is returning," Saizou said. "I must report this to Hordy and his men."

B

Fairy Tail continued through the darkness of the deep seafloor.

Seeing even more ugly-looking fish and giant crabs.

"This is getting scary," Wendy whined.

"The fish look even scarier!" Lucy screamed.

Akame thought otherwise. "They look delicious."

"Seriously!?" Carla questioned the former assassin's reaction.

Leone laughed as she pets the youngest female assassin. "That's my best friend for ya."

"I hope Sting and the others are okay," Lector said more worried than ever.

"I hope so too," Frosch commented.

Erza attempted to hug the frog-wearing suit cat or at least try, however, Akame took a plate of a strawberry cake. "I believe this might distract you."

The armor mage began to lick her lips. "A strawberry cake." She took it and began to chow on it.

They soon sailed through some underwater volcanos. "Volcanos, this becoming more insane!" Lucy yelled in a whimpering tone.

Gildarts hugged his daughter. "Don't worry Cana, daddy is here keep you safe!"

"Cut that out, old man!" She said in an annoyed muffled tone.

They eventually managed to get past the volcanos.

"Still no sign of the Straw Hats," Mest said looking through a telescope.

"They must've gone up ahead of us," Makarov guessed. "Considering that might be the only option in this situation."

"One thing puzzles me about the two strange eyes that Marumieta the mayor's daughter from Pucci Island gave us," Gray wondered. "How did she know about our ship and that strange bulb dial with light up our statue?"

"Perhaps Iceberg, he is a shipwright, not to mention Galley-La does get supplies from that island too," Mirajane guessed. "That, Iceberg told us that several years ago, he and his company were given a statue."

"You're referring to the one that's hanging in front of the ship's front?" Erza presumed.

The oldest takeover sibling nodded. "Right, Iceberg also wanted to add some modifications to the statue, so, he thought of adding some electric power, but, to keep the electricity stored in the statue would require something that can hold power."

"That's where the light dial comes in right," Erza said getting the idea.

"That's incredible," Lucy said.

"I wish Mavis was here to see this," Gray said smiling.

"That reminds me, Iceberg shared an interesting story that's been passed down from sailor to sailor," Mirajane said.

But, before, she could explain that there was a scream.

"AAHHHH!"

"What was that?" Wendy asked.

"We're screwed!" A familiar voice screamed.

"That sounds like Usopp!" Levy exclaimed.

Cana had another thought. "What is he screaming about-" She immediately stopped as she and her friends saw a giant strange man wearing a cloth and had black hair and beard, who just punched a giant angler fish.

"Is that angler fish?" Carla questioned.

"It's even bigger than our ship too!" Lily added.

"Another ship looks like captain Vander Decken will get more treasure!" The giant spoke.

"It talks!?" Lucy and Levy screamed in total shock.

"He's so gigantic too!" Temukai added.

Franky turned around. "Hey, guys, our friends the Fairy Tail Pirates have arrived!"

Brook was relieved a bit. "Our friends are safe, I bet the ladies are too."

Just then a ghost-like ship was coming from darkness behind the sea giant.

"FOOLISH PIRATES!" A voice from the wrecked ship spoke in an almost ghostly tone. "DEAD MEN TELL NO TALE, I SHALL CUT OFF YOUR HEADS AND TAKE YOUR TREASURE THEN LEAVE YOU ALL IN A WATERY GRAVE!"

"AAAAHHHH!" Usopp cried with his eyes popping out.

"No way!" Nami shrieked in fear.

"A ghost ship!" Lucy screamed.

"We're doomed!" Levy added while hugging the blonde girl.

"Great, just what we need!" Chelsea yelled frighteningly.

"A ghost ship!" Brook panicked as he was slapped by Brook. "Why are you screaming?"

Regaining their composure, Lisanna picked up the transponder snail, however, before she did, she noticed Caribou was missing, how, she would deal with that later.

Franky heard the transponder ring and answered it. "Hello, is this Franky speaking."

"Franky, you guys are safe," Lisanna spoke.

"Miss Lisanna, nice to know that you and your friends are safe," The cyborg said relieved. "Anyway, did you find your dragon slayer friends?"

"No, and from the looks of it, I guess you didn't find Luffy, Zoro, or Sanji," Lisanna presumed.

"Unfortunately no, however, I'm sure they'll show up, however, considering that we got a ghostly ship ahead of us, things just got ugly," Franky answered as he glanced at the wrecked.

"Hold it, that ship is not like the one that I was on," Brook spoke, hearing this, Franky eventually took the snail so that the Fairy Tail Pirates could hear.

"Listen up, look at their sail!" Brook was pointing at the ship's old torn sail.

Aquapad recognized it too. "The Flying Dutchman!"

"The what?" Leone wondered.

"As you all probably heard, the story goes the ship sailed the seas about 100 years ago, one dark stormy night, the captain of the ship lost his mind, consumed with madness he threw his entire crew overboard," Brook explained.

"The Flying Dutchman's owner threw his crew overboard?" Lucy questioned.

"Talk about a piece of crap," Leone commented in disgust.

"That's not all, he gazed up to the heavens and cursed the gods!" Brook continued.

Elfman thought that part was strange. "Cursed the gods?"

"Also, the captain name's was known as Vander Decker, he was also cursed for his actions, aimlessly sailing the seas on the vessel you all see there!" Brook concluded.

"That's scary!" Lucy whimpered.

Laxus scoffed and then glared at the wrecked ship. "Ghost or not, I say we deliver a message to the bastard that if he messes with Fairy Tail, he'll get some good Fairy Tail beaten,"

"You sound like Natsu," Evergreen giggled.

"That brat does have a habit of getting us fired up," Makarov commented with a smile.

Vander Decken was gazing upon the two ships. "Foolish humans, they think that they'll be able to pass through this area, but, this will be their last journey, though, their ships look fancy, they must have some good treasure."

Aquapad was glaring at the ship. "So, Vander Decken is here..." He turned to the humans and the minks. "Listen up, we must defeat that ship and take in Vander Decken!"

"What?" They wandered in confusion.

"Vander Deckin isn't just a pirate, he's also a stalker!" The Marlin Fishman answered.

"A stalker?" Lucy questioned getting a bad feeling.

"Who is he stalking?" Cana asked.

"The mermaid princess Shiraoshi," The Straw Hats heard this.

"Hold on, you're saying that ghost is in love with the mermaid princess!?" Franky exclaimed.

"Yes, but, this Vander Decken isn't a ghost, what you guys are seeing his descendant," Aquapad answered. "It's a long story, but, I can tell that this bastard has tried to ask Shirahoshi's hand in marriage, but, she never gave him an answer."

"So, how long was this Vander Decken trying to get the princess?" Usagi asked.

"For ten whole years," Aquapa answered gritting his teeth.

"Ten years!?" The wizards and minks exclaimed.

"Talk about being stalked," Happy said.

"There's more, you see..." But Aquapad stopped as soon as he felt some strange. "Whoa, has it gotten hot?"

"Huh..." Freed wondered until he felt some intense heat. "He's right, it's gotten so hot."

"Like being close to an oven," Bickslow added stretching out his shirt's neck.

Nami felt the strange heat in the air too. "It's getting hotter than before, that's not natural..." She saw some pointy stones releasing strong hot air from the holes.

"Listen up, Wadatsumi, give the two ships a knock and sink those humans with it," Vander ordered.

The sea giant turned around and raised his fists. "At once captain!"

"We must fight!" Laxus stated.

"Idiots, if we attack all at once, we'll create a lot of holes and the ship will be sunk for sure!" Makarov reminded.

"He's right..." Aquapad walked to the side of the ship. "I'll take him on, I'm the only one that can swim fast enough and fight in the water."

"You can't take him on by yourself!" Lisanna said in concern.

"She's right, not to mention that angler fish is out there too, you'll be outnumbered!" Freed added.

The Straw Hats were having problems too. "Franky, can you use that Coupe Burst again?" Nami asked.

"I can't, if I do, we'll use all our fuel, once I can refill the cola supply we can use it again, until then, we're on our own!" The cyborg answered.

The giant sea man's fists were almost close to the ship.

Suddenly a tentacle came out of nowhere and punched the sea giant in the face knocking him down.

"What is the Kraken doing here?" Usopp asked.

Juvia had a different question. "I think the question is, why is it helping us?"

Wadatsumi got up and faced the giant sea creature. "You big bully!" That earned a barrage of punches on his face.

"Alright, he's done, so stop," A voice called which made the Kraken stop his attacks. "Good boy."

"You're so strong, I think we fight sometimes, but, for fun," Another voice said.

The Kraken smiled.

Luffy was coming down and still in his bubble but had Sanji along with Zoro with him.

Natsu waved down with Gajeel while Sting had Rogue with him.

"Natsu!" Lucy, Fujika, and Happy cried with tears of joy.

Yukino was happy to see her two guildmates. "Sting, Rogue!"

"Sting! Rogue!" Lector and Frosch cried in joy.

Luffy, Sanji, and Zoro returned to the ship.

Chopper hugged his captain. "Luffy, I was so scared!"

Natsu and the other dragon slayers returned to the ship. "Gajeel's bubble popped so did Rogue's."

Fujika was able to hug Natsu, much to his surprise. "Natsu!"

Lucy was in awe of what she was seeing.

Happy had a sly grin. "She loves you."

"Shut up Happy!" Natsu snapped comically.

Levy hugged Gajeel, surprising the iron dragon slayer. "Hey, no need to get all huggy." He was embarrassed.

"Anyway, sorry we had you all worried," Sting said stretching out his body.

"Yeah, sorry about that," Rogue said rubbing his head.

Yukino hugged the twin dragon slayers. "Sting, Rogue, I'm glad you two are alright!"

Lector hugged his partner's head. "Sting, you had me worried!"

"Rogue didn't go bye-bye!" Frosch said getting all teary-eyed.

"Anyway, did you guys tame the Kraken?" Erza asked.

"About that, Luffy did it," Natsu answered with a grin.

"How did he do it?" Lucy asked.

Natsu's grin didn't leave his face. "I'll tell you guys later."

"Kraken, give us and our other friends a lift to Fishman Island!" The Kraken used two of his tentacles to carry the other Sunny and used two more to do the same thing to the Water Fairy.

"This is awesome!" Natsu cheered.

"We're going to get a ride on the Kraken!" Wendy added.

"This should be good," Leone laughed.

Akame smiled a bit. "Yes, it should."

"This is a manly ride!" Elfman roared excitedly.

Gildarts was laughing. "This is something I never dreamed of, but, it's worth it."

"Vander Decken, the Kraken is taking the two ship!" A Fishman yelled.

"I can see that, follow them!" The Flying Dutchman's captain spat.

Rumble

Just then there was a loud rumbling sound and glowing red light in the distance.

"What is that?" Luffy wondered.

Wadatsumi and Ankono were scared at what they were seeing.

"Captain, we need to leave!" A Flying Dutchman crew member suggested.

"It's an underwater volcano!" Nami proclaimed.

"Crap, this can't be good," Leone cursed.

"Wadatsumi, Ankoro, retreat, we'll plunder another ship next time!" Vander Decken ordered.

"Right captain!" Wadatsumi and Ankoro pulled the Flying Dutchman retreating.

"Luffy, get the Kraken to turn and hull us out of here!" Nami ordered.

"Right, Surume, let's go!" Luffy called.

The Kraken was already running away.

"It seems like it already had that idea," Lily said seemingly impressed.

"To think this creature has a name," Carla added.

"Quite a catchy name at that," Lisanna commented.

"A bad runner though," Robin said.

"Give it a break!" Franky spat at the black-haired woman's words. "Would you rather have a clumsy runner?"

Suddenly the volcano erupted creating shockwaves and releasing lava from within.

"Lava!" Happy, Lucy, and Usopp screamed comically.

Another shockwave occurred which sent Vander and his creatures flying away.

"He must go faster!" Lucy yelled in panicking tone.

"Right, Surume, if you die then someone will be eating your carcass!" Usopp informed.

Hearing that made the sea creature run faster than ever.

"Ooh, eating him by even better," Luffy suggested.

"I heard fried octopus tastes good," Akame said.

"Really!" Natsu said practically drooling.

Hearing those words made the Kraken run even more.

Lisanna picked up the transponder snail. "Hey, come in!" Nami answered the call. "Is this Nami, what direction do we go?"

"Straight ahead!" The navigator answered.

The Kraken came closer to a trench. "Jump into the trench now!"

"That's not a place to jump, it's an abyss!" Usopp panicked.

"Lave is getting closer too!" Lucy added.

The Kraken jumped off the trench but, the lave came in the last moment making several boulders coming down toward them.

"Crap, if those boulders hit our ship, we'll be crushed!" Chelsea shouted.

Zoro stepped on the edge of the ship. "Luffy, hang on to my leg, I'll cut the boulders down!"

Luffy smiled and held on to his friend's leg.

Robin did her stance and created several hands to hold on to the green-haired man's arms. "Hey, what's the idea?" He asked.

"The ship is under 80,000 meters below, if you guys go out there, the water pressure will crush you!"

Nami continued to talk through the transponder snail and informed the Fairy Pirates of the situation.

"Aquapad, can you use your Fishman Karate to knock those boulders away?" Laxus asked.

"Yes, but, I haven't mastered it yet, if I messed it up then the boulders will still come crashing onto us," The Marlin Fishman replied.

"Any ideas Nami?" Lisanna asked through the transponder snail.

"One, we need to buy us some more time to get away from the cliff wall," The navigator suggested.

"Leave it to me!" Usopp took out his slingshot. "Special Attack: Green Star: Sargasso!" He fired a green pop creating seaweed to slow down the falling boulders.

"Whoa, that's new!" Lucy exclaimed in surprise.

Akame and Leone were surprised. "He shot out..."

"Seaweed?"

Chelsea was just surprised as her female assassin friends. "Whoa, I heard he's a sniper expert, but, this is crazy."

"Snort...snort," Temukai said in surprise.

Usagi was impressed. "Quite impressive."

Cana laughed. "Usopp, he's pretty handy."

"Usopp, where did you learn to create something like that?" Chopper asked quite impressed.

"Yeah, but, it won't hold for long!" Usopp turned to face the Kraken. "Surume, get us out of there quickly!"

Usopp went to his friend and proudly laughed.

"That was awesome!" Luffy praised.

"Yeah, I wonder what else you have in that bag of tricks of yours," Brook said.

"Lisanna, how are you guys doing?" Nami asked.

"Fine, thanks to your friend Usopp," The animal soul user replied.

Cana took the snail from the girl. "Usopp, that was quite impressive..."

Hearing that made Usopp blush and chuckle awkwardly. "Aw, Cana, it was nothing."

"Yeah, but, Surume also deserves some credit," Nami said.

Erza agreed. "That's right, if it wasn't for him, we would be goners,"

Mest chuckled a bit. "I have to agree."

"Surume! Surume! Surume!" The two pirate groups cheered.

Out of nowhere, one more boulder crashed on the Kraken's head knocking him out.

They fell into the abyss.

A short time later.

There was light in the sky.

"The Deep" (The bottom of the ocean trench)

Nearby were different species of fish and creatures swimming by.

"Why is there light shining?" Rogue questioned.

"We're below sea level," Robin said noticing the strangeness in that.

"Aquapad is this..." Lisanna began to ask.

The Marlin Fishman was practically in tears. "Yes, Fishman is just up ahead."

"The island is in a giant bubble too!" Nami pointed out. "They have clouds too!"

Natsu was totally in awe. "I don't get it but, it's awesome!"

"So cool!" Pango added.

"Quite the sight too," Lily said admiring the scenery.

"I have to agree with that," Carla said smiling.

Akame was drooling at the nearby fish. "Food."

"Are you kidding me?" Lucy questioned the black-haired teen's behavior.

Sanji began to get all dreamy-eyed. "Mermaids, I'm so close..."

"Mermaids huh?" Loki came out of nowhere. "This should be interesting."

"Loki, I didn't summon you!" Lucy jumped in surprised.

"Look those roots are from the tree on Sabaody!" Usopp pointed out.

"He's right, those roots come from down here, quite interesting," Franky said with a grin.

Surume lift up the two ships.

"We made it!" Luffy cheered excitedly.

"The New World is next!" Franky added doing his pose.

Caribou was hiding in the cabin and peeking out the door. "The morons got here safely..." He was holding a key too. "Good thing that purple-haired Amazon had the key on her, I wouldn't have been able to snatch if the ship didn't spin around, now, once the coast is clear, I'll make my move on these Fairy Tail fools and then I'll go after Straw Hats."

"A mermaid for me! A mermaid for me!" Sanji, Brook, and Loki sang together.

Just Taurus appeared. "Moo, meeting other beautiful mermaids is enough to get me moo-ving!"

"Taurus, where'd you come from?" Lucy asked with shark teeth.

Gildarts smirked. "Perhaps one of these mermaids would like to hang out with me, giving me a chance to give Cana a mother."

"Dream on..." Cana thought.

Evergreen giggled. "I wonder if the mermaids have a beauty contest."

Sanji passed out again due to another nose bleed.

"You idiot, you can't pass out again!" Usopp yelled.

Luffy began to drool. "So hungry, fish I want... fish."

Happy was thinking the same thing. "I bet the island has a lot of fish for me to eat."

Natsu began to drool too. "That reminds me, I'm hungry too."

Akame was almost on the verge of drooling. "Fish meat..."

"Come you guys, let's get going to Fishman Island," Lisanna suggested. "Hear that, Surume get to-"

"Hold on you guys, we got company!" Elfman and Franky pointed ahead.

Six creatures approached them, Kraken roared in realization.

"Sea monsters, six of them!" Lucy and Nami panicked.

"No way, I thought we were safe for a moment!" Chelsea whined.

"Those sea beasts are a cat's meow!" Millianna said.

Natsu grinned. "Looks like we got some more action."

"Hold on, pyro, I call nibs on these sea beasts," Gajeel said pushing the pinkette boy aside.

"No, I call dibs!" The two started to headbutt again, until a certain scarlet woman approached them. "Problem you two?

"No ma'am!" The two dragon slayers whimpered in a corner in terror.

"Those sea beasts are huge!" Temukai yelled.

Usagi narrowed his eyes at the six sea beasts. " I sense something else."

Natsu got up and grinned at the monsters as his hands were covered in flames. "Anyway, I going to kick all of their butts."

Lucy karate chopped Natsu on the head. "Don't get any ideas!"

"That includes you too, Gajeel!" Levy added whacking the iron dragon slayer with her purse.

Luffy was amazed. "Wow, they look tough, I want one." He noticed a shadow was on one of the sea beasts that resembled a giraffe. "Looks like someone is riding'em?"

After managing to get away from the Flying Dutchman and escaping the underwater volcano, they finally arrived at Fishman Island, however, it seems that new enemies have approached the pirates, who are they, find out next time.
