Hello all Storm here with a new story! Yes a new story, deal with it, as here we'll be seeing Naruko once again in RWBY, but she won't be a hero this time around, instead taking a walk on the dark side. So, without further ado.

Within the abandoned and destroyed settlement of Mountain Glenn, three teenagers sputtered awake as rain began hitting them in the face.
The first was a slender girl with chest-length purple hair that has bangs swept to the left side, purple eyes, full pink lips, and an hourglass figure. Wearing pink slippers with pale purple frills around the edges, white leggings, a white dress with a black belt around her waist, and a long sleeved periwinkle shirt under her dress.
The second was another young woman with long auburn hair done up in a ponytail and amber eyes. With the girl's attire consisting of a black military-esque uniform with grey armor on her upper body.
The final person was a boy with curly blue hair, that resembled seaweed, and gray blue eyes. Wearing a white and black jacket, a black shirt, blue jeans, and black shoes.
These three were Rize Kamishiro, Seryu Ubiquitous, and Shinji Matou, second year students at Beacon Academy and members of Team RNSS (Rains). Though with them having since become a three person team, rather than the traditional four. Due to the disappearance of their fourth member, who hasn't been seen for little over a year by now.
Not any of them really cared, even preferring if the animal was dead in a ditch somewhere, or even eaten by Grimm.
Currently, the three of them had been sent out to Mountain Glenn to clear away the growing number of Grimm, something they believed would be a simple matter for them to accomplish. But the moment the three had arrived at the destroyed city, they had been rendered unconscious, when they were struck in the back of their heads. With the three only now waking up at the feeling of rain hitting their faces.
"What the hell hit us?! And where's my weapon?!" Demanded Rize, standing while scowling as she looked around for whoever, or whatever, knocked them; out only to see that her weapon was missing.
"Mine's missing too!" Shinji said, looking around for his weapon.
"What villain took my arms?!" Seryu shouted, looking at her mechanical arms, a result of her Semblance, Body Modification, only to see that they had been ripped off.
"None of you will be needing weapons where you're going."
Hearing the sudden voice, the three students looked around for where it came from, before a flash of lightning revealed a figure standing on the roof of a building.
"You?! You're the one who knocked us out! Do you have any idea who we are?! What we can do to you?!" Yelled Shinji, sneering at the figure, who remained silent before they suddenly leapt off the building.
Rather than falling to the ground, the figure had jumped towards another building with them surprisingly running across it on all fours. With the figure repeating this as it circled Team RNSS, running across the buildings around them, until finally they flipped off and down to the ground. Landing in a crouch in front of them.
With the figure revealing to be a girl, given her build, wearing armored black and red sandals with claws, navy blue thigh-high socks held up by a black garter belt with red designs leaving her pale thighs exposed, a black and red leotard with matching armor on her upper chest, an open hooded black and red cloak with the lower sleeves being skintight and the upper parts being baggy, and the hood pulled up, clawed hands, and a blood red scarf wrapped around her lower face. With the only thing being seen was her blue eyes with slit pupils, and hints of blonde hair poking out from her hood.
Though what had the three students sneering in disgust was when they saw the tail swaying behind the girl, a long tail with blonde fur and black spots. Showing the girl was a Faunus, a Cheetah Faunus specifically.
"Filthy animal! You'll be brought to justice for daring to attack your betters!" Seryu said, rushing towards the Faunus with a demented and twisted grin on her face, while activating her Semblance to summon her other weapons stored in her body.
Only to be momentarily surprised when nothing happened, with her surprise ending when the stranger rushed her in a burst of speed. Slamming her foot into the auburn-haired girl's stomach, knocking the wind out of Seryu, and sending her flying back towards Shinji and Rize. With the two attempting to use their own Semblances to shield themselves, only to also be surprised when nothing happened. Before Seryu crashed into them, knocking all three to the ground groaning.
While the Faunus smirked beneath her mask, before standing up and going over to the three.
"I'm afraid your Semblances won't be working either, given you no longer have Semblances." Revealed the stranger, as the three glared at her.
"What did you do to us, you worthless freak?!" Rize demanded, before gasping in shock and fear when three glowing crimson tendrils emerged from the girls back and wrapped around the three.
"I took them!" The girl said wickedly, before tossing them into a building where they crashed through a wall, as the Faunus jumped in after them while the tendrils receded back inside her.
"Body Modification, Umbrakinesis, and Kagune. Such powerful Semblances being wasted on trash like you. But don't worry, I'll make good use of them." Said the Faunus, before a wave of shadows slammed into the three, knocking them back outside.
With the three now cowering in fear, knowing they were helpless and had no way of defending themselves as the stranger approached them, while flexing her claws.
"St-stay back! Stay back you animal, you have no right to attack your be-AAAAHHH!" Shinji screamed, when the girl slashed her claws across his face, leaving five blood gashes.
"I can do whatever I want to insects, after all it's not unheard for Huntsmen to go missing or die on missions. And with you three being mediocre students at best, well…I'm sure no one would bat an eye, after finding you ripped apart enough that they'll think Grimm did it." Said the girl as she held up her bloody claws, as the three whimpered in fear while Shinji clutched his bleeding face.
"But luckily for you trash, I'm only going to ask you all one single question and I'll let you go." The girl said, making them feel a spark of hope that they'll live to escape.
Though also swearing to hunt this animal down and make it pay for daring to attack them.
"A-an-and wh-wha-what-what's th-that?" Stuttered Seryu, as the girl stood up and began circling them like a predator.
"I want to know, what happened to your fourth teammate, Naruko Uzumaki?" The girl questioned, confusing them before they scowled.
"That worthless loser? We don't give a damn what happened to her!" Rize said, with Shinji and Seryu nodding in agreement.
"Yeah, the weakling did everyone a favor when she left! Even better if she went and got herself killed!" Added Shinji, feeling no remorse or care about wishing his missing teammate was dead.
"All villainous animals like her, and her kind deserve for the hand of justice to be brought down and crush them into paste!" Seryu said with a twisted expression, despising all Faunus and believing all of them should be wiped out, but especially despising their former teammate.
The stranger stood still as she processed their words, before reaching up and lowering her head revealing long spiky and wild blonde hair. Before she then pulled down her scarf, revealing her face, showing three jagged whiskers on her cheeks and a dark fanged grin. With the Faunus looking at three students, taking in their shocked expressions.
"Hello teamies. Missed me?" Naruko said tauntingly, as their shock quickly wore off and glared murderously at her.
"You worthless animal! You think you can get away with attacking us, stealing our Semblances?! We'll make you regret ever being born!" Rize screamed.
"You'll face justice like the rest of your pathetic kind, when we slaughter you creatures like you deserve!" Seryu said madly.
Though the two screamed, when Naruko slashed her claws across their faces, just like she did to Shinji. Which also silenced the boy, not wanting to be hit again.
"You really don't seem to understand your current situation, do you? I'm the one with power now, while you three, you're helpless. And trust me I've had a long time to come up with plenty of ideas for what I'm gonna do to you." Naruko said, smiling sadistically while her eyes gained a golden glow around them, with the three once again cowering in fear.
"W-wa-wait! Yo-yo-yo-you s-sa-sa-s-said yo-you'd l-le-let us g-go, i-if we-we answered yo-your que-question! An-and y-you do-don't br-break y-your word!" Rize stuttered fearfully, with the other two nodding in agreement, knowing Naruko never broke her promises or went back on her word, no matter what it was.
With Naruko smirking as she stood up and backed up, while her eyes lost their glow.
"You're right, I don't break my word. However…" Said Naruko as her eyes glowed again as a knife made of black glass appeared in her hand.
"…I never said you'd all be in one piece." Naruko stated wickedly, making them pale before Shinji screamed when multiple Shadow Hands appeared from the ground and grabbed his arms and legs, lifting the blue-haired boy into the air.
With Shinji paling in sheer terror when Naruko pressed her knife right into his crotch, screaming when it suddenly heated up and burned through his pants and underwear.
"You know, out of the three of you, you are by the far the one that's the most disgusting. Tell me, how many girls did you rape at Beacon? How many before going there? How many?!" Naruko growled, knowing what the sick bastard did in his spare time, taking innocent girls, whether they had been civilians or students, and then raped them repeatedly.
All while Rize and Seryu covered for him, which is also why Shinji never tried raping them as well, while Naruko had been safe since he was disgusted at the idea of touching a Faunus in that manner. Beat them down and insult them, but never rape them, since he had "standards".
It's also why Naruko despised the Beacon teachers because they were so ignorant and uncaring, that they never even realized that female students had been raped right under their noses. They also never came forward, given they'd be ashamed of what happened, or didn't want anyone else to know.
Naruko couldn't even tell them since she had no proof, and who'd believe a single "animal" over three normal humans. Though she'd tried offering comfort to the victims, only for them to spit in her face and believe she should have been the one to suffer.
After that, she simply left them to cry and whimper at what happened, if they were willing to spite the only one who actually wanted to help them.
"I-I h-h-ha-have n-no id-ide-AAAAAAHHHH!" Shinji screamed, when Naruko pressed the knife in deeper, with it now starting to burn through his genitals.
"Lie again and it comes off. How many?!" Naruko demanded.
"Twenty! I've raped twenty girls!" Confessed Shinji.
"And why did you do that?!" Said Naruko.
"Because they were asking for it! Always walking around, dressed in skimpy and tight clothing! If I didn't do it, someone else would have! I was just helping them see what would happen anyway!" Shinji said, with the whiskered blonde sneering in disgust, not believing he was actually defending his actions.
"You are really the lowest of the low." Naruko stated in contempt, before driving the dagger straight into Shinji's crotch, making his screams grow even louder and higher.
"You said-" Yelled Shinji, only to scream again when Naruko began cutting how his genitals.
"I said if you lied, it'd come off. And you did lie, a lot in fact. You didn't rape twenty girls, you raped forty, twenty-five civilians and fifteen students, I kept count. And you didn't do it in some bullshit attempt to "help" them, you did it simply because you could. You always went after the ones you knew wouldn't be able to fight back, that you could overpower easily and hold down, and know they wouldn't say anything or know it could be covered up. Because no matter what you say, you are nothing but a coward who knows you're nothing but a sniveling, worthless, pathetic, low-life, WEAKLING!" Naruko shouted, before pulling her dagger back and with a single slash, cut off the remains of Shinji's genitals, as the boy could do nothing but scream in agony at the pain.
"But that's not all I'm taking." Stated Naruko as her dagger grew to the size of a short sword, before with two slices, she cut off Shinji's arms as well.
But she wasn't done yet, as she then cut off his legs as well, followed by his nose, then ripping out his eyes, and finally placing the heated blade against his face for a few moment. Before violently ripping it away, along with a good portion of Shinji's face as well.
"You took so much pride in being able to hold your victims down and take them again and again, now you can never touch another girl in anyway, ever again. And now whenever anyone sees you, they won't see some innocent student or "handsome" as you liked to think of yourself. No, from now on they will only ever see you as the hideous freak you are. I left you your ears though, so that every shriek of every child at seeing your hideousness will be yours to cherish. Every baby that weeps at your approach, every woman who cries out, "Dear Brothers! What is that thing," will echo in your perfect ears." Said Naruko, as the Shadow Hands dropped the whimpering boy on the ground.
"You worthless, evil, disgusting animal! How dare you injure a bringer of justice like tha-AAAH!" Yelled Seryu, only to scream when Naruko slashed her claws across her face.
"And you, you're even more disgusting and sick than he is! Shouting about "justice" and basking in your self-righteousness, when you happily protected this worthless piece of garbage while he raped dozens of girls, doing nothing as they screamed and begged for someone to help them! You just stood to the side and let it happen! You care so much about justice, well where was the justice for them?!" Naruko demanded, glaring at Seryu in pure disgust.
"It made them stronger! As now they'd be able to learn to fight off real villains, like you and the rest of your worthless kind!" Retorted Seryu, before she was suddenly grabbed by Shadow Hands as well, only to pale in horror when dozens of black tentacles also rose from the ground.
"In that case, what will happen next will just be me "helping" you get stronger. After all, that's what teammates do, they help each other." Naruko said wickedly, before cutting away Seryu's clothes and armor, until she was completely naked.
"So, for all the times you preached about justice and stopping evil-doers, here's a taste of your own justice!" Naruko said, before Seryu screamed as numerous tentacles thrust into her ass and snatch, only to be silenced when more tentacles forced themselves into her mouth and down her throat.
Naruko then moved onto Rize, who was shaking in complete terror at what Naruko already did to Shinji and Seryu, and what she had in store for her.
"N-Na-Naruko, pl-pl-ple-please, we-we're pa-partners, fr-fri-friends! I-I was th-the-the only on-one n-ni-nice t-to yo-you!" Rize begged, with Naruko smiling at the purplette.
"Yes, you were the only one nice to me." Stated Naruko, since it was true that Rize had supported her in the beginning and gave her a shoulder to lean on when she needed it, with Rize feeling hope she may get out of this unharmed.
Only for that hope to be dashed when she too was grabbed by Shadow Hands and lifted into the air.
"There's just one problem, my Sensor Semblance, the one you all though was useless. It also lets me sense emotions, so I can tell when someone's lying." Naruko revealed with her smile gaining a dark edge, while Rize paled given how she hadn't genuinely supported Naruko and was only nice to be able to beat her down even more.
"Now then, we're going to play a little game. I cut off parts of you, while you subtract a number from one I give you. If you pass out before getting to the negatives, you lose. Now, one thousand minus seven." Said Naruko, before grabbing Rize's left hand and slicing off the tip of her pinky, making the girl scream in pain.
"I'm waiting for an answer." Naruko said, slicing off the next part.
"AAAAAAAAHHHHHHH! N-Nine hundred n-ni-ninety-three, AAAAAAHHH! N-nine hundred eighty-AAAAAHH-s-si-six!" Rize cried as Naruko sliced off the rest of her pinky and started on her ring finger.
This continued on for several minutes as Naruko cut off Rize's fingers, one knuckle at a time, before moving onto her right hands and repeating the process. With her then moving onto her toes, only to stop halfway through the purplette's left foot after seeing she passed out.
"Aaaah, how sad. It looks like you lose." Naruko taunted before giving Rize a jolt of electricity to wake her up, before the Cheetah Faunus turned to Seryu and snapped her fingers, causing the Shadow Hands and tentacles to vanish.
Causing the auburn haired girl to fall to the ground, unresponsive but still very much alive.
"Tsk, tsk, tsk. Not so nice when you're one the receiving end of justice, is it?" Mocked Naruko, tilting Seryu's head, making the girl shiver as tears began falling from her eyes.
"Th-this-this…n-no-not…j-ju-ju-ju-jus-justice…" Seryu muttered, before whimpering when Naruko stomped on her face, breaking her nose.
"By your definition, this is the greatest form of justice of all. Where the villain suffers, while being left broken and crying!" Naruko said, smiling sadistically before stepping back to look at her broken and shattered former teammates.
"Well, I don't know about you all, but I believe this has been rather therapeutic. And I'm a girl of my word, I'm letting you all go now." Stated Naruko, only to hear them whimper and cry, since they couldn't even move let alone get far.
Only to stiffen when they heard several growls, making them look up and saw several Beowolves approaching Naruko from behind. Making them feel pleased that at least they'd get to see the filthy animal get ripped apart, before they die.
But rather than attack Naruko, the students were shocked and terrified when they walked up beside her and instead growled at them, while Naruko even went as far as to pet one on the head.
"H-ho-ho-how?" Shinji stuttered, horrified at what they were seeing and that they had no way of escaping.
"Let's just say, I got a new teacher in my absence. And she's taught me so many…interesting things. Along with making it so the Grimm don't attack me unless they have to. And right now, they don't have to." Said Naruko, smirking darkly as more Grimm appeared and surrounded them.
"But you said you'd let us go!" Rize shouted in fear.
"Oh my dear former partner, I said I would let you go…they didn't make any such promise." Said Naruko before turning around and walking away, with the Grimm immediately pouncing on the three students.
The Cheetah Faunus smirking as she heard her former teammates screams as the Grimm ripped them apart, knowing she'll treasure the memory her entire life. Plus, she didn't need to watch them die, as it gave her more room to let her imagination fill in the blanks.
'Three less pieces of trash in the world.' Naruko thought, having no regrets about stealing her former teammates Semblances and then leaving them to die slow and painful deaths.
Given the fact they never bothered hiding the fact they hated her. Even Rize, when they were first paired up during initiation, wanted nothing to do with her. Even openly admitting that the only reason she didn't injure her and leave her for the Grimm was because they were being watched by cameras. Of course, only admitting this after there was no worry of anyone overhearing them.
'Not that anyone at the damn Academy would have cared.' Thought Naruko scowling, knowing no one at Beacon would have cared, aside from a select few.
The only other team that had been kind to her had been Team CFVY, given their own Faunus teammate Velvet also suffered similar abuse and hatred due to being a Faunus. But not to the same extent as Naruko, since she had her teammates to watch her back, which the Uzumaki couldn't say the same about.
But the rest of the students they had no problem showing they hated her and pushed her around at every opportunity, whether it was due to her being a Faunus or being a failure. Since Naruko hadn't been the best student, not to say she didn't try, but she just never had anyone to teach her. She didn't even have her Aura unlocked until after she left!
Her Aura was only shown to be unlocked simply because she had so much that all the machines registered it as being unlocked. But since it wasn't, that meant all the bullying Naruko suffered was even worse since she didn't have her Aura to shield her or heal her wounds. With the whiskered blonde having lost track of how many times she had to go to the infirmary, sometimes even having to limp or drag herself there.
While the other students never held back when they were "showing the failure animal its place". Sure Naruko threatened to tell the teachers, but that never stopped them as they were under the belief the teachers were allowing it. While Naruko never went to the teachers, since she knew they left the students to sort out their own problems. Or it wouldn't solve anything and only encourage them to attack her more, along with how the teachers likely wouldn't believe her. Given how the students would have lied and given each other fake alibis for the "alleged" attacked.
Plus, Naruko doubted the teachers would hear her out, given how all of them simply wrote her off as a failure due to her poor grades, lack of combat experience or style, and falling asleep in classes.
'Not that, that idiot Port could even call what he does teaching!' Thought Naruko, knowing the only thing Professor Port did was talk about stories and things, he apparently did when he was younger.
One of the few teachers, that didn't write her off as a failure was Ozpin, which was ironic given who she's now allied with.
With Naruko's mind then drifting to how she left Beacon and became allied with her new mentor.
*Flashback*
Naruko stalked through the Emerald Forest with an empty look in her eyes, not caring that she was out here alone, projecting who knows how many negative emotions, or that she hadn't fully recovered from her last attack.
She had just been leaving the infirmary when she was cornered by her so-called team, with them having never resisted the chance to kick her while she was down. And while normally Naruko was able to ignore their words, having learned to just block them out. This time, the Cheetah Faunus wasn't able to ignore them, and could still hear them echoing in her head.
"Worthless animal, you shouldn't even be here!"
"Freaks like you must be brought to justice and eliminated!"
"I bet you only got into Beacon by being a whore for the teachers! That's all you could be good for, since you can't even fight!"
"Do everyone a favor and just die and save us the trouble!"
Naruko covered her ears as she slid down against a tree, but she could still hear all the insults, the taunts, the criticism, everything. And no matter how hard she tries, it's never changed, the teachers don't do anything to help her, the students seem to make it their personal mission to make her miserable. The whiskered blonde was at her limits and now she simply couldn't take it anymore, she's doing what they've always told her to do.
The only reason she came out here to the forest, was to let the Grimm have her, so they don't have to deal with the "filthy animal" anymore.
'At least that would be quick.' Naruko thought while looking down, knowing the students always enjoyed hurting as slowly and painfully as they could, with the Grimm it'll be quick and relatively painless.
Now all she had to do was wait.
"How…disappointing."
The sudden voice made Naruko stiffen and look around warily and a little fearful that maybe someone might have followed her out her.
"Wh-who's there?" Naruko said, looking around standing up as her claws came out.
"So much potential, and yet you're willing to throw it all away, all over a few petty words and insults?" The voice asked, with Naruko being unable to pinpoint where it was coming from, even with her enhanced sense.
"It's not just words and insults, it's everything! I'm treating as something worse than Grimm just because of something I was born with! I'm seen as a failure because I don't have training like everyone else! And the teachers don't care since they've never tried helping me! Seeing me as a failure, like everyone else! And why do you even care?! You don't even know me!" Demanded Naruko, angry that this person thought they had a right to judge her, when they wouldn't even show themselves.
"My dear girl, I know more about you than you believe. Naruko Uzumaki, daughter of Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki, your father was a Cheetah Faunus and your mother a Fox Faunus. They were a Huntsman and Huntress, Kushina from Beacon and Minato from Haven, they met while on a mission, before they fell in love and eventually had you, you were a Cheetah Faunus by had fox features from your mother. You lived in the City of Mistral until you moved here to Vale when you were eight-years-old. Your parents died when you were twelve in a tragic "accident", leaving you alone and dreaming to become a Huntress like them. It was hard and you were looked down on by many, whether for being a Faunus or being seen as a failure, but you persevered until you were able to enroll into Beacon Academy. Where you suffered discrimination, prejudices, and hatred, all leading up to this very moment." Said the voice, as Naruko's eyes widened and she began shaking at how much this person knew about her.
Before her eyes widened as the person finally revealed themselves as they stepped out from behind a tree.
It was a woman with deathly pale skin, dark purple veins lining her face and arms, a black diamond-shaped marking in the center of her forehead, with glowing crimson eyes and jet black sclerae in her eyes. With her hair being a bleached, pale white color, styled into a larger bun with six offshoots wrapped together that also suspends several obsidian-colored ornaments.
Her attire consisted of a very long, short-sleeved black robe that obscures her feet and partially drags across the ground, with its distinctive feature being a curved high collar with dark red trim bordering the outer edge of a narrow window exposing her bust in a vertical ellipsis resembling an eye, and completed with a long shawl emblazoned with three interconnected, maroon-colored vertical elliptic sigils resembling a trio of overseeing eyes above a series of maroon-colored diamond emblems. She also wears a ring resembling a beetle on her right middle finger, which have long fingernails with jet-black nail polish.
All in all, the woman looked like a human Grimm, yet still managed to retain a regal and frightening beauty about her.
"H-how do y-yo-you kn-know a-a-all t-that?" Naruko stuttered, as the woman smirked at her before she started walking around the Faunus.
"My dear girl, I always keep my eyes on those I believe are worth my time and have potential. And you, certainly have potential. Far too much to be wasted and thrown away." Said the woman, with Naruko gulping as she looked at the stranger.
"Tell me, what exactly do you hope to accomplish by becoming a Huntress?" The woman questioned, confusing the whiskered blonde for a moment before she looked away.
"I…I don't know. I dreamed of being a Huntress since I was a little girl, to be one like my mother. After my parents died, I wanted to become a Huntress so no child would have to lose their parents again, like I did. But now…I don't know, the other students all taunt and insult me, that an "animal" like me could never become a Huntress, let alone one who anyone would want help from. And the teachers, I doubt they even think I would survive as a Huntress." Naruko said bitterly, the woman's smirk widening before she stopped right in front of Naruko.
"And what do you want? Not what you dream to do or wish to accomplish. What does Naruko Uzumaki, desire most in the world?" Asked the woman, making Naruko frown since she wasn't even sure what she herself wanted.
Before she looked down at herself, at her clawed hands and her tail swaying behind her, things that she had been hated for, mocked for. Made to believe they made her lower than the dirt on the ground and something worse than the Creatures of Grimm. That she was just an animal, a monster, something that shouldn't exist.
With the answer soon coming to Naruko as she looked up at the woman.
"I don't want to be like anyone, anymore. I want to be number one. An apex predator, like nothing there's ever been before." Naruko said, knowing what she wanted, with the woman nodding pleased by her response before holding out her hand.
"And I can give you all that and so much more." The woman said, with Naruko looking at her offered hand before back to the woman.
"Who are you?" Asked Naruko, wanting to know just who she's potentially making a deal with.
"I…am Salem." Salem introduced, as Naruko looked at her hand before reaching out and taking it.
*End Flashback*
After that, Salem had taken her back to the Land of Darkness and Evernight Castle, where the Dark Queen revealed many secrets to Naruko, including the four Relics beneath the Huntsmen Academies, the four Maidens, the Brother Gods, as well as her and Ozpin's hidden war. Along with the latter's own power of reincarnating within like-minded individuals. While also revealing her own immortality and how it was impossible for her die, a fact Ozpin has conveniently not told any of his followers.
With Salem also revealing that she chose Naruko to become the vessel to hold the power of the Maidens and gather the Relics, while planning to train the girl to be able to contain that power.
But not long into her training, they were surprised when Naruko one day awoke and possessed magic herself, before realizing one of the Maidens must have died. With her power randomly going to Naruko, making her a Maiden already.
A surprise to be sure, but one that was welcomed.
With Naruko's training becoming even harder with it now, including her working on mastering her new magic powers. Knowing they'll be very useful when it comes time for her to track down the other Maidens and the Relics. Though the real deciding factor was Naruko's Semblance.
At Beacon, another reason Naruko had been seen as a failure was that everyone believed her Semblance was a sensory type one, that allowed her to sense a person's Aura and where they were located. Something that wasn't very useful when fighting Grimm, who didn't have souls or Aura's, making everyone believe she had a useless Semblance. But like she told Rize, it also allowed her sense a person's emotions.
What no one knew was that wasn't Naruko's true Semblance, having instead awakened it not long after her parents died, and she had been attacked by an anti-Faunus supporter. With Naruko unlocking her Semblance when she stole his sensory one. While it allowed her to escape the bastard, it also terrified Naruko that she had such a Semblance that let her steal others. The girl knowing that a person's Semblance was part of who they are, as if it was part of their body. And to lose it would be like losing a limb.
Which is why Naruko swore to never use her Semblance again, even when she entered Beacon and had to deal with her bullies and teammates, she never considered using her Semblance. But after allying with Salem, Naruko was no longer restrained by such thoughts and happily stole Semblance's now if they caught her eye. Like her teammates own, though she'd admit that it was also personal when she took their Semblances outside of also wanting them for herself.
"What's that old saying, All For One, None For All." Said Naruko smirking, knowing it was her Semblance that'd allow her to take the Maiden powers from the other Maidens.
It was after Naruko's training was complete that she was introduced to the other members of Salem's inner circle, Tyrian Callows, Arthur Watts, and Hazel Reinhart. Who all joined Salem for their own reasons that Naruko never really cared for.
She had also met one other person, who Naruko saw as an annoyance, while they saw her as a threat to what they believe is theirs by right.
Cinder Fall.
Apparently, Salem had recruited her long before she did Naruko, intent to use her as the vessel of the Maidens powers, with Cinder already possessing half of the Fall Maidens power, until she found Naruko. With Salem now seeing a chance to see which of them would succeed in gaining the power of the Maidens first. The chosen and true Maiden or the usurper and false Maiden.
With it having been decided not long ago, when Salem had Naruko and Cinder fight to the death, to decide who would become the sole possessor of the Maidens powers. The fight ending with Naruko coming out the winner, given that while she admits Cinder was a strong fighter, she's also arrogant. And given her hatred of Naruko and desperation to prove she deserved to have the power of the Maidens. It made her sloppy and focus solely on simply killing Naruko.
The Cheetah Faunus didn't even need to do anything, simply letting Cinder wear herself out, before moving in for the kill. Stealing her half of the Fall Maidens power and her Semblance, before tearing her head off and burning the body.
This also resulting in Naruko killing Cinder's followers, Emerald and Mercury, due to Emerald being loyal only to Cinder and Mercury having been too much of a wild card in her opinion. With Naruko also taking Emerald's and Mercury's Semblances as well. Finding despite Mercury's claim his was stolen by his father, he still had it, he just could no longer use it.
Shaking those thoughts, Naruko began running before vanishing in a burst of speed, to make her way back to the Land of Darkness.
*Timeskip-Three Days*
Thanks to her enhanced speed from her Faunus heritage, speed that's only increased thanks to her training and some Semblances that she stole. It only took Naruko a few days to reach the Land of Darkness and Evernight Castle to report to Salem. Finding the Dark Queen in the conference hall, gazing out the window to the Pool of Grimm.
"I take it, that your collection has grown even bigger." Salem stated, already knowing the answer, with Naruko smirking and nodding.
"Yep, shame about my teammates though. We had been so close." Said Naruko with mock sadness, which actually made Salem smirk slightly.
"Yes, quite the shame. You also arrived just in time; I have a new assignment for you." Said Salem, getting the Uzumaki's attention.
"What is it?" Naruko asked wondering where she'll be going next.
"You and your teammates will be infiltrating Beacon Academy for the new school year." Salem answered, making Naruko frown at hearing this.
During her training with Salem, Naruko had gathered together her own team of followers, knowing despite her magic and Semblance, it never hurt to have backup. But unlike Cinder and her pets, since that's all they really were to her, pets for her to order around and give treats if they obey. Naruko's team was loyal because they chose to be, not because she keeps them in line with threats or force.
"Am I going to be taking over Cinder's plan?" Naruko asked, knowing about Cinder's plan to attack Beacon during the Vytal Festival to get the other half of the Fall Maiden powers and kill Ozpin, the latter of which being an order straight from Salem.
At least it was, until Naruko killed her.
Along with the new allies she's made with the White Fang and the notorious thief Roman Torchwick and his partner Neopolitan, Neo for short. The latter two Naruko's met a few times, with Neo being the one she definitely preferred meeting and hanging out with. With it helping she was able to get under people's skin, with just a few expressions and gestures.
"Yes, you will recover the other half of the Fall Maidens power and ensure Ozpin does not survive. And rather than be undercover as Haven students, you'll be going as Beacon students." Replied Salem, knowing that while Cinder had been a useful Pawn, she was also a volatile one and needed reminders that just as she raised her up, Salem can easily send her crashing back to the ground.
With the Dark Queen having been pleased when Naruko was the victor in their fight, knowing while she can hold grudges, she can also control herself to make sure the assignments are completed.
Naruko nodded in understanding, before going to inform her teammates of the new plan, so they can get ready and head out for Beacon.

Yep we see Naruko, as a Cheetah Faunus, first "reuniting" with her former teammates, Rize, Shinji, and Seryu, and getting some well-deserved payback against them along with stealing their Semblances (with her own basically being All For One's Quirk from My Hero Academia). Before we get some backstory on Naruko and a flashback showing how she met Salem and was recruited by her, and that she's not only a Maiden but also killed Cinder and took her half of the Fall Maiden powers, killing Emerald and Mercury as well so they wouldn't cause her any problems, while stealing their Semblances as well. Finally, we see Naruko is being sent by Salem along with her own teammates, to infiltrate Beacon as students, taking over Cinder's plan to attack it, gain the full Fall Maiden powers, and kill Ozpin.
