I do not own Harry Potter or Dracula
Also this story is inspired by Dracula Rising and Heir of Dracula, both by the same author, ZenoNoKyuubi.
1476, Wallachia
In the humongous building known as Castlevania, 4 figures stood in a room. 3 of them surrounded a tall man in the middle of the room.
The man in question was Vladimir Tepes III or more commonly known as Dracula. He coughed up blood as he collapsed onto his knees. The three people surrounding him was a Vampire Hunter known as Trevor Belmont. A Speaker Magician called Sypha Belnades. The final figure was a Dhampir known as Alucard.
Dracula clutched his chest as he stared them down "Well done... You've defeated me..." He gazed his blood red eyes on Alucard "Son... Take care of yourself... More than I ever did."
He moved himself to lay against the wall and closed his eyes with a final breath. Trevor put a hand on Alucard's shoulder "We should leave. Now." He nodded before walking away from his father. The others walked away as well. Leaving Dracula in the coldness of the room.
A skeletal figure in robes wielding a scythe approached the man. This was Death, the Reaper of Souls. He spoke with a raspy voice "My master. This is not the end for you. For your spirit shall live on, within another body. The boy with lightning on his forehead. Your brides shall await your rebirth."
With that, Death held his hand out, taking Dracula's soul, leaving him to dissolve into dust. Death held the black and red mixed soul within his hand before dissolving into shadow.
And so Dracula's influence would disappear from the world... For now.
1981
Three women walked through the misty community known as Privet Drive, sensing their master's powers. It was a beautiful night for the vampiresses.
The first vampiress wore a green dress with bright green eyes and straight black hair, this was Verona. The second vampiress had curly brown hair and yellow eyes, she wore a yellow two piece dress, exposing her belly button, this was Marishka. The third vampiress had red curly hair and purple eyes while wearing a pink dress, this was Aleera.
They were the Brides of Dracula that have long awaited the arrival of their master.
Verona stared down the buildings with distaste "These mundane... Believing themselves to be normal as they fatten themselves." Marishka gave her fellow wife a toothy grin "More for us to feast upon~" Verona hummed in agreement. Aleera turned her head to stare down one particular building "This is it... This is where our master lives."
The three brides walked down the path towards the house. Verona grabbed the door knocker and knocked three times. Soon enough, a Walrus of a man appeared and sneered at the three women "What in God's name do you three women want? What are those horrid dresses you're wearing in this bloody time at night!?"
The brides suppressed a sneer as Verona used her hypnotism on the fat man. "Come now. You're a gentleman. Surely you can invite us inside?" Vernon's posture changed as his eyes dulled "Yes, of course. Come on in."
He stepped aside and let the three women inside "He's not worth feasting on. Kill him." Verona ordered which prompted Marishka to sneak her hand around his head before ripping it off with ease, blood pooled around the floor as Marishka raised his head above her mouth, her tongue sticking out as she drank the blood that showered from the severed head. A baby's cry could be heard from the second floor. Verona looked up before looking at Marishka and shifted her head to the stairs. The yellow bride nodded with a sadistic grin as she made her way upstairs.
Aleera stared at the cupboard under the stairs and opened it to reveal it crawling with cobwebs, even some spiders. She found a crib inside and there he was.
Aleera pulled the baby from the crib and out of the cupboard to stare at the child. Aleera looked at Verona "It's him... It's our master." Verona looked at the baby with a soft smile and her thumb brushed against the lightning scar. The baby's cries upstairs stopped suddenly as was a woman's screams as flesh being torn could be heard. The baby in Aleera's arms whimpered which prompted her to rock him gently "It's alright, little master. You're safe from these tormentors."
The baby opened his eyes to reveal, not the emerald green like her mother's, instead it was blood red. Like their master's. "You will become the greatest Dracul in the lineage of House Tepes." Verona declared as she brushed her thumb against the child's cheek. The kid gave a cute bubbly laugh as it reached for Verona's soft silky hair.
Marishka waked downstairs while licking and sucking on her fingers "Mmm, that child was positively delicious. That hag... Ugh there was nothing to her." She walked towards her fellow wives and looked at Harry. "Oh such a sweet and beautiful child." she cooed as she wiggled her finger in front of the child to which the child giggled and played with it.
Verona spoke "Let us leave." The others nodded and fled the home that would become a crime scene for a potential serial killer.
Harry Potter was gone. Instead, he would become Hadrian Dracula Tepes. The new King of Vampires.
The next day, Dumbledore looked at the bloody corpses of Harry's relatives. Dumbledore has seen brutal deaths at the hand of Death Eaters, however, this was not by the hands of Death Eaters... This was by something else. Nothing short of a monster.
Dumbledore only hoped the Boy-Who-Lived was safe.
Soon the Wizarding World would learn that the boy was safe and learning to come to Hogwarts. Let them be ignorant to what happened to the boy.
August 1st, 1991
Hadrian stared down the letter addressed to him from Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry while sitting on his throne. The name sounded absolutely rancid to the young King. His three brides watched from the side before Verona asked "Will you attend, My Lord?"
He hummed "Perhaps, depends on what they expect of me." Hadrian pulled out a cigarette from his pocket and scraped his fingernails together, creating a spark that lit it up.
About a year ago, Hadrian took up smoking, simply because he could and would intimidate people from speaking to him. His brides had no objections since they are undead creatures, meaning their lungs, heart and body did not function. Hadrian was on no risk of getting lung cancer so he does it because he can.
"I refuse to have them tell me to quit smoking, or to wear these horrid rags they call school clothes." Aleera smirked "Quite the rebellious child, My Lord." Hadrian released a chuckle before conjuring a paper and quill. He wrote his response and handed it to the owl that sat on his armrest. The owl flew away and Hadrian released a breath, the smoke escaping from his mouth as he spoke "Verona, I want you to accompany me to Diagon Alley."
Verona bowed at the waist "As you wish, My Lord." Aleera questioned "What of us?" Hadrian took a sideway glance at the other brides and spoke "Prepare my luggage. And make sure that Venom is given his food. He'll be my pet to take to Hogwarts. Aleera and Marishka bowed as well "It shall be done, My Lord."
Venom was the name of a special lizard that Hadrian raised since his time as an egg. The lizard was a Komodo Dragon that had black scales and red tribal markings. Hadrian named him Venom due to the dangerous bite a Komodo Dragon gives to its victim. One bite is filled with bacteria that will make the victim sick and he could wait for days until the victim dies. Then he will eat it.
The tribal markings are a mystery to Hadrian but he believes that it is a demon. Venom has been Hadrian's loyal pet since Hadrian was just a baby and Venom was a hatchling.
Diagon Alley bloomed with business as a new year at Hogwarts was on the rise. Hadrian got the few odd looks from witches and wizards. Verona walked behind her master as she looked at the list of things needed. He scratched wand, and clothes off the list since he needed none of those. He ready had his wand and said in his reply that he had his own robes and wand.
The business in Gringotts was rather interesting. Hadrian learned of the bank statements that weren't delivered to him, along with the fan letters and birthday cards from admirers. They were kept in a mailing house nearby, so Hadrian would have to visit them to see the statements and letters. He visited his birth parents vault and grabbed a few hundred galleons and left with Verona in tow.
Hadrian realized how easy it was to get what he wanted with the show of his red scar that shaped like a lightning bolt. So he had his bag that could carry endless items and gathered the letters.
Next, he searched for his specific books and perhaps some extra reading material. He noticed a girl with bushy brown hair and buck teeth searching for books as well. She seemed like the kind to have read everything to prepare for the school. Perhaps she will be an interesting one to have as a friend.
He decided not to get a cauldron as he had plenty in his Labs back in the castle. His ancestor was a tactical and scientific genius in his day, so Hadrian wished to continue his studies and advance more than any known scientist. So Hadrian decided to use one of his cauldrons from home. After their business was concluded, Hadrian and Verona stopped for some Blood pops that looked delightful.
It was the day that Hadrian Dracula Tepes, formerly known as Harry Potter, would enter Hogwarts. Verona pushed his luggage which carried his robes, his wand, his books and cauldron. Next to his case was Venom in a cage, staring around with his forked tongue sticking out occasionally. Hadrian stared at his ticket "Platform 9 3/4. You would think these fools would explain how someone is expected to find it." Hadrian pulled out a cigarette and lit it up, using his fingernails.
Verona looked at the pillar that housed the sign for Platform 10 and 9. Verona noted "There is magic coming from the walls." Hadrian stared at the pillar before seeing an obese red headed woman with her children "Platform 9 3/4 is this way. Go on ahead Percy."
Percy rushed towards the middle of the pillar and phased through it. "Ahh..." Hadrian realized and watched as two red head twins argued with their mother "He's not Fred. I am!"
"Honestly woman, and you call yourself our mother." Molly Weasley spoke "Sorry George." George walked forward "I'm only joking, I am Fred!" He laughed as he ran forward. The real George ran after his twin. Hadrian walked forward "Excuse me, ma'am." Molly looked to see Hadrian "Oh yes? How can I help you?" I am arriving to Hogwarts for the first time, so can you tell me-?"
"How to get onto the platform? Not to worry, dear." Hadrian had to suppress a scowl at being interrupted. Molly continued despite being uneasy at the boy having a cigarette in his mouth. "It's Ron's first time to Hogwarts as well. Now all you have to do is walk straight through the wall and you'll arrive at Platform 9 3/4." Hadrian bowed his head in acknowledgment "Thank you. Come along, Verona." Verona nodded and pushed his cart as they walked through the pillar.
They arrived at the platform where the Hogwarts Express Train sat, steam pooling from the chimney as coal was shoveled into the furnace. Hadrian had to admit, it was a beautiful train. Hadrian turned to his eldest bride "You'll be in charge until I arrive back." Verona bowed at the waist as she let several Commissioners grab his luggage, however Hadrian insisted on letting Venom be with him.
He turned to Verona who shifted like she wished to say something "Permission to speak, my Lord?" Hadrian nodded "Granted."
Verona, the usually stoic and stiff bride suddenly launched forward and wrapped Hadrian in a surprise hug. He was surprised but did not object. She spoke "I'm so happy, my Lord. It feels like a blink of an eye when we found and cared for you. I'm so happy that you are finally taking the first step into this world." Hadrian was touched at those words and hugged his bride back.
"You're very kind, Verona. I will always appreciate you, Marishka and Aleera for caring and raising me to become the King. Now, it's time I left. Make sure to take care of the others for me." Verona nodded and watched as Hadrian along with Venom made for the train.
Thus, started the journey for Hadrian Dracula Tepes. The Wizarding World was not prepared.
