It was a week after the incident with the troll and everyone gossiped about what happened to the Troll. Some said Hadrian used dark magic to destroy it. Others said his Familiar killed it to which many scoffed at the notion of a small lizard killing a full grown troll.

It mattered little to Hadrian.

It was currently a free period for Hadrian so he opted to walk around the school courtyard with Venom by his side. A burning cigarette in his mouth. It was a particularly cloudy day which was a benefit for the young King.

Venom stuck his tongue out occasionally to smell and sense those around him. "How was the troll?" Hadrian asked his Familiar to which he spoke in his head "It was positively delicious. I thank you for the kind gift, My Lord."

Hadrian smirked as he took the cigarette out and released a smoke-filled breath "Good, that should hold you over for a while."

Hadrian made his way outside to see a girl with Asian features and black hair talking to a girl with Indian features and black hair. Cho Chang and Padma Patil, the twin sister of Parvarti Patil, whom was in Gryffindor while her twin was in Ravenclaw.

He gave a small smile at the two as he remembered when he first met them.

It was about a month after Hadrian was sorted and it was equally entertaining and boring at Hogwarts. Right now, it was lunch time for everyone.

He received letters from a lot of people in the Wizarding World. Manly politicians that seemed to hate him simply because of his vampire heritage. The most hateful was a letter from Undersecretary Umbridge who seemed to shame him and threaten him with expulsion and to be hunted down like a dog.

Suffice to say, to the Wizarding World, he was not welcome.

Hadrian's expression was calming rage as he scanned the letter. His sharp nails protruding through the paper as he gripped it. His eyes burned blood red before taking a deep breath. "Don't get mad... Get sadistic." He muttered to himself, not caring if anyone at his table heard.

Malfoy asked with a shaky voice "Hadrian, are you alright?"

Before he could answer, Daphne released a gasp. The two boys looked at her to find her looking wide eyed at the Daily Prophet. Hadrian asked with a calm voice "What is it?"

Daphne looked at him with uncertainty before handing the King the newspaper. He took it and began reading it.

THE BOY-WHO-LIVED IS BOY-WHO-DRINKS-BLOOD

By Rita Skeeter

It was over a decade when He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named was defeated by Harry Potter, the Boy-Who-Lived. We always wondered where our beloved savior went to or lived for the last 10 years!

We were told he was living in the Potter Manor, training to be invited to Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Books were made of his adventures in the last 5 years including his wrestle with a Mountain Troll. His rule as the Mer-King in Atlantis!

For so long, everyone, including yours truly, wished to see the Boy-Who-Lived but no one could get to him.

Until now.

Yes, dear readers! Harry Potter, The Boy-Who-Lived has arrived at Hogwarts! And he is a vampire!

Harry Potter has been stated as calling himself Hadrian Dracula Tepes. The Dracula from the famous stories of the King of Vampires.Has Hogwarts degraded with the admission of a blood-sucking fiend into its walls along with the other children that could potentially be taken and drank from? How long will it be until victims start appearing throughout Hogwarts and the blood found in his mouth will be from who?

Spread the word about Harry Potter's monstrous return!

See pg. 8 for more information about Harry Potter

Hadrian scanned the newspaper before handing it back to Daphne who watched him, nervously anticipating his action.

He growled "So it's war then, Miss Skeeter?" He stood up from the table and began walking away from his house. He ignored the looks given to him from the other houses and his own.

He walked out the Great Hall and outside into the courtyard. In a shaded part of the outside, he closed his eyes and spoke in his mind "Aleera, attend me!"

In an instant, Aleera, the red haired bride in a pink dress appeared from the shadowed walls and bowed at the waist before her master. "How may I serve you, My Lord?" Hadrian looked at her with steeled eyes "Rita Skeeter. I want you to get close to her. Discover her darkest secrets. Once you've done that, report to me your findings."

Aleera could only give a sadistic grin as she bowed at the waist again "By your command, My Lord." She stepped back and phased into the walls.

Hadrian released a growling sigh as he fished out a cigarette and forced it into his own mouth and scraped his fingernails together to create sparks. They landed on the edge of the paper and begun to burn.

He closed his eyes and inhaled the smoke to calm himself from the insults against him and his House.

He pulled the cigarette out and the smoke escaped from his lips.

He heard laughing to see three boys picking on two girls. One had black hair and Asian features while the other was of Indian descent. They both had Ravenclaw outfit.

The three boys were surrounding them and laughing as they placed their hands on the girls.

Hadrian watched before looking away and began to walk away back into the entrance when he stopped. He released a growl and spun around to walk towards the three boys.

His boots released an echoing step that seemed to get the boys attention, revealing themselves to be Gryffindors. All within 4th year. The middle and obvious leader of the trio gave an arrogant smirk as he spoke

"Well well! Harry Potter! Nothing but a vampire. A blood sucking monster!"

"Silence, you Peon." Hadrian ordered with constrained anger as he glared at them. The boy could find that he couldn't speak so he placed a hand to his throat and tried to speak, only to find a strained voice.

Hadrian grabbed his face and brought it down to his own and spoke "Now, you will leave these two alone and never harass anyone again. I'm already pissed off, and I need a good reason to kill. So don't be my reason if you wish to live. Now leave."

He threw the boy away which prompted the two by him to run away as fast as humanly possible.

Hadrian watched them before turning his head to the two girls and held his hands out to them "Are you two alright?" His voice became soft as he asked them.

They took each of his hand and got back up. "Yes. Thank you so much." The Asian girl said with a little smile but her eyes held fear at the sight of the vampire.

"I'm Padma Patil. This is my friend Cho Chang."

He bowed his head before them "Hadrian Dracula Tepes."

After that encounter, Padma and Cho didn't exactly become friends like Draco or Daphne, but more acquaintances.

He enjoyed the debates and knowledge they craved. They sought to learn about his vampirism and the culture they upheld to which Hadrian gladly provided.

Back to Hadrian, he walked towards the two with Venom by his side to which Padma looked up and smiled "Hi Hadrian!"

Cho looked up and smiled "Hello Hadrian."

The Vampire in question smiled a bit and bowed his head "Padma, Cho. It seems Fate smiles upon me to be in your company once more."

The two giggled and blushed in the most unlady-like manner. It was rather cute. If he was honest with himself, perhaps something could grow from this. Perhaps they could become his concubines or perhaps just simple servants.

Padma scooted away from Cho to give Hadrian some space to sit down between them.

"So what is our debate for today, mi'ladies?" Hadrian asked after sitting down on the cold stone bench.

Cho suggested "What about vampires?"

Parma's expression brightened "Yeah! We've put that off for too long."

Hadrian chuckled "Very well. Speak your pieces."

And so they did.

Padma asked "What exactly is it about vampires that make them so dark? Why are they only seen as monsters and not human-like?"

Hadrian spoke "It's much like magic. You can call certain spells Light or Dark, simply because of the affects of that spell. However, it's about intent. You could use the Lumos Charm to find your way through the darkness or you point it into someone's eyes to blind them. The same can be said for Vampires.

The reason vampires aren't considered human-like is the same reason werewolves can't find many job offerings.

They see the beast and not the human behind it. Yes, vampires are known to drain the blood of humans. However, it is much like how you eat food. Or how a predator kills its prey. It's our instinct. There is only different circumstances. That's all humans are to us. Prey that are attempting to make itself the bigger predator."

Cho asked "So in the end, we're just cattle to you?"

Hadrian chuckled and shook his head "Not to me. But it seems the rest of my kind do not see your kind as thinking beings. They're the ones to see you as cattle. A small price for immortality, I suppose."

The two Ravenclaw's were thoroughly into his words. His surprisingly deep buttery voice entranced them as he spoke about what exactly it means to be a vampire.

Padma asked "Do you know who was the first vampire?"

Hadrian placed a finger on his chin as he thought "There have been many stories of the origin of my kin. The Greek Goddess of Magic, Hecate, created the Empousa. Vampire like creatures with the leg of a donkey and a bronze leg along with fiery hair. They too drink blood so it's safe to say, Empousa are our distant cousins. If she created them, then perhaps she created us.

Another Goddess is also rumored to have created us. Artemis."

Cho asked "The Greek Goddess of the Hunt?" Padma shook her head "Wasn't she the Goddess of the Moon?"

Hadrian smiled "Correct on both accounts. Now the story that I've been told was a tale of Selene and Ambrogio.

You see, Selene was a caretaker for the Oracle of Apollo who happened to be her sister. Ambrogio was an adventurer from Italy who traveled to the city of Delphi, home of the Oracle of Apollo.

Ambrogio met with the Oracle who warned him with the cryptic message 'The curse, the moon, the blood will run.'

Ambrogio couldn't sleep that night as he thought of those words in his head. He stayed outside the temple until the sun rose. When Selene was on her way to the temple, Ambrogio met with her.

Over the next few days, every morning, Selene and Ambrogio would speak and grow closer to one another. They fell in love and on the final day of Ambrogio's trip in Greece, he asked for her hand in marriage and to live with him in Italy.

She agreed and they planned to leave the next morning.

Apollo, the God of the Sun watched and grew enraged at Ambrogio for stealing one of his maidens away. And so on that night, Apollo cursed the young adventurer so that any touch of the sun would burn his skin."

Cho and Padma were listening in silence and felt sadness at Ambrogio and the curse he had to endure. Hadrian continued.

"Ambrogio was distraught as he could no longer see his dearest Selene. With no other choice, Ambrogio ran to a cave which led to Hades, Lord of the Underworld. Ambrogio told the God of his predicament and made a deal. Of Ambrogio could steal the silver bow of Artemis, he would offer he and Selene his protection. The term was to leave Hades his soul and he would give the adventurer a bow and 11 arrows. To offer his hunting trophies to Artemis and that would be his chance to steal the bow.

And so Ambrogio hunted Swan for 44 days using one arrow to hunt. However, he had parchments but no quill and ink to message his love. So he used the feather and blood to write her messages. He also wrote love poems for her.

Selene was devastated that Ambrogio was gone but saw the bloodied messages. She continued to work at the temple as to not anger Apollo.

Ambrogio had hoped that if he could not steal her bow, he could ask for her assistance to convince Apollo to remove the curse.

On the 45th night, Ambrogio fired his final arrow and missed, the arrow sailing off. Ambrogio wept as hope began to break from him.

Artemis, having seen how much of a good and dedicated Hunter Ambrogio was, she came down and he begged to use her bow and one arrow to kill the swan. She compiled and gave him the silver bow and arrow.

Seeing his chance, he ran off towards the cave. Artemis was angered at the deceit and cursed him so that any silver touched would burn him. Artemis quickly caught up and Ambrogio begged for the Goddess's forgiveness. He told Artemis his blight and she took pity on him.

And so she gave him one last chance. She granted him the strength of a god and fangs to kill the beasts he hunt and use their blood to write his love poems.

In exchange, Ambrogio and Selene would run away and serve Artemis and only her. However, Artemis, being a virgin goddess, her priests and priestesses had to remain chaste and unmarried. No touch, no kiss, no children.

Ambrogio agreed, at least it would grant him a chance to be with Selene. He killed the final Swan and wrote Selene a message to meet him at the docks before dawn. She saw the message and abandoned Apollo's temple.

When she made it to the ship, in the docks was a wooden coffin with a note to open when the sun has set. She had the captain set sail and when the sun set, she opened the coffin to reveal Ambrogio alive and well.

The couple made their way to Ephesus where they lived in a cave by day and worshipped Artemis by night. They lived happily, never kissing, never touching, and no children. Ambrogio never aged due to his immortality while Selene aged like a mortal.

Selene fell ill and knew she was near death. Ambrogio would not join her in the afterlife due to Hades taking his soul.

He went out at night and killed a swam and offered it to Artemis who came before him and offered him one last deal.

He was allowed to touch her only once. To drink her blood and mix his blood with hers. This would allow her to be an immortal like him and all who drink the blood of a creature such as him. He wanted to refuse in making her that kind of immortal but Selene, having heard of what she would become, begged Ambrogio to turn her.

And so he did. He drank her blood and her mortal body died but having drank his blood, she awoke. Her spirit met with Artemis every night and so Selene was made the Goddess of Moonlight. Shining down upon the Earth. Every night, she came down to finally touch her beloved and the children they made together.

And so Ambrogio and Selene became the first Vampires, created by Artemis, Greek Goddess of the Moon."

It was silent as Cho and Padma looked at Hadrian. Cho could feel tears threaten to spill while Padma was already wiping tears from her cheeks "That was... *Sniffle* beautiful and sad at the same time." Padma said which Hadrian brushed the back of his index finger to wipe her tears.

"Do you... Believe this story?" Cho asked to which Hadrian looked up to see the sky begin to darken. "Night is coming. We should go inside." He stood up along with Padma and Cho and made their way to the Great Hall in time for dinner.

"Ladies." He bowed his head and a hand on top of his heart before walking towards his house table.

After greeting a few of his housemates along with Draco and Daphne, he sat down and fished out one last cigarette for the night. He felt like hunting sometime before Christmas. For now, he would wait.

Wait until it was time for the hunt. His eyes glowed red with anticipation.
