"The Philosopher Stone? You're serious?"

It was the next day during morning hours in the Great Hall when Hadrian reported his findings to Draco and Daphne. It was lively within the hall, as in no one was staring at Hadrian, but if they did he did not care. Venom sat on the stool, enjoying a small breakfast steak while Draco and Daphne listened to his story.

He spoke about the lackluster trials and the surprise that was Quirrel's body being taken over by Lord Voldemort. They both shuddered at the use of his name but Hadrian reminded them. 'Fear the name only increases fear of the thing itself.'

Hadrian chuckled at Draco's exclaim "Indeed. A powerful object such as the Philosopher's Stone should not be taken lightly."

"It seems Dumbledore did just that." Daphne said with her hands hovering over her lips.

Draco frowned "But wait. You said it was a fake. Where is the real one?"

Hadrian gave his usual sadistic grin and opened his mouth before the cool voice of Snape's spoke behind Hadrain "Mr. Tepes. You are requested to visit the Headmaster's office."

The two looked up at their Head of House before Hadrian stood up from his spot. He looked at Venom "Stay here."

Venom gave a quick response in acknowledgement before Hadrian started following Professor Snape.

No doubt Dumbledore wanted to speak to Hadrian about the mirror and the encounter with Quirrel. Luckily, Hadrian knew what to do.

"So tell me Hadrian, what implored you to break school rules and go into the forbidden corridor?"

Professor Dumbledore asked as he stared down the Prince who sat down with his leg over his other leg and interlocked his fingers together.

The office was silent, even Fawkes, Dumbledore's Phoenix wasn't singing. To the left of the Headmaster, stood Professor McGonogall staring at Hadrian like a hawk.

Professor Snape stood on the right side of Dumbledore, waiting for Hadrian's answer.

Hadrian finally answered "You see, Professor, I was on my way to the dungeon when I saw Professor Quirrel mysteriously enter the corridor. Now being a curious child as I am, I sought to investigate it."

McGonogall perked her eyebrow at him "Why did you not seek out a teacher?"

Hadrian titled his head "By the time I told a teacher, it would've been too late. So I decided to follow Quirrel and watch him. I made it through your traps with ease, though your Chess was very entertaining. By the time I got there, I discovered him standing infront of the mirror. It seems he was after your precious stone."

Dumbledore brow lines crumbled as he was trying to think about why until he looked up at Hadrian. "He was getting the stone for him."

Hadrian smirked "Indeed, however, after the failed attempt at Gringotts, Quirrel's body was taken over. Behind that turban laid Voldemort himself."

The two teachers, except for Dumbledore shuddered at the name. Dumbledore himself frowned "Strange. All my spies say he is in Albania."

Hadrian's eyebrow cocked up. 'If you know where he is, then you should've crushed him when you had the chance.' He thought.

Dumbledore eyed the stone in Hadrian's hand "If you wouldn't mind, my boy, I'd like the stone back please."

Hadrian shook his head "I do not have it with me sir. It is still in that mirror.

"Are we finished, Headmaster? I'd like not to be late for class."

Dumbledore looked at Hadrian for a moment before nodding "Off you go, dear boy."

Hadrian stood up from the chair and bowed dramatically with a hand at his midsection. He turned around to the door and walked out of the office.

McGonogall looked at the Headmaster "Are we to do, Albus? The boy is brilliant but he knows more than he lets on."

Snape cocked his eyebrow at her "What do you intend on doing? Accuse him and send him to Azkaban?"

Professor McGonogall glared at him "You dare?"

Before more could be said, Dumbledore rose his hand "Enough. Enough... There is not much we can do. The boy is dangerous but Hogwarts is the safest place for him as of this moment. But we must keep an eye on him."

"And the others? Miss Greengrass and Mister Malfoy? They know him best. Do we keep an eye on them as well?" McGonogall asked.

Snake sneered "I will not tolerate you making judgements about my Snakes. Best leave it to me to handle what they are up to."

"I agree... With Severus. Leave it to him to see fit how he watches his students." Dumbledore said as he placed his hands together.

Hadrian couldn't help but smirk at the thought of the looks on the teachers faces when they realize the stone was a fake and destroyed. He fished out a cigarette and scraped his fingernails together, igniting the end of the tobacco stick.

From that point on, Hadrian went on perfect his school work. He often studied with Draco and Daphne. Though there were timed where he studied with Hermione who wanted to learn about vampire culture. Hadrian pondered the idea and simply told her that he would think about it.

Before long, Christmas arrived and Hadrian awoke to presents all around his bed. One such gift was a pair of snip toed boots. Ones found on cowboys in the Wild West. They were of Black Mamba scales which made Hadrian smile. Being one of the most dangerous snakes in the world. It seemed fitting that they would be found on the person of the Prince of Slytherin.

The gift came from one Pansy Parkinson. He felt rather touched by the sentiment of a girl he hasn't had any personal contact with. Perhaps he'll include her in the little group if she proves that she's worth anything to him.

He looked at another gift which turned out to be a bouquet of blood pops sent by Marcus Flint, the sixth year that Hadrian nearly murdered via Venom. A little letter asked for forgiveness, and permission to tinker with the Gryffindor Quidditch team's equipment. 'Bribing me to do what they'd like? How cute.' Hadrian thought with a chuckle.

Hadrian looked through more gifts until he came across two specifically from Daphne and Draco.

Daphne's gift was a beautiful metal necklace with a dragon dangling from it.

Draco's gift was very surprising. A black King Cobra. It was fully grown and had the necessary paperwork to make it legal to own one it came in a glass tank. The snake was currently asleep. Hadrian could tell by the subtle breathing.

Hadrian smiled and walked out from his bed to open the tank which made the cobra wake up and look at him.

$Excellent. Another soul to ogle me like a freak at a carnival.$ The cobra hissed in his head. It was a female voice. To which Hadrian smirked and spoke in the snake's tongue, Parslemouth.

$Is that anyway to speak to your owner?$ Hadrian hissed which made the snake perk up and look at him.

$A Speaker! Forgive me, my Lord.$ The snake bowed her head in submission. Hadrian reached into the tank and opened his hand to which the female cobra slid onto his arm and curled around in comfort.

$You are forgiven. Tell me your name.$ Hadrian hissed.

The cobra flicked its forked tongue and answered $My name is Nyx, my lord.$

'The Primordial of the Night. You flatter me, Draco.' Hadrian thought as he brushed his finger against Nyx's neck which she enjoyed

$Beautiful name, Nyx. Let's go find you a rat to eat.$

The end of the first year of Hogwarts had arrived and Hadrian was leaving the train after saying bye to Draco and Daphne as well as Hermione. The trio couldn't help but watch as Hadrian walked to a trio of women with different color coated dresses. They also watched as they kissed his cheeks.

"Are those..." Draco asked before Hermione guessed

"The three Brides? From the Bram Stoker novel?"

"They must've been whom he spoke of before. They're..." Daphne said before Hermione asked

"Intimidating?"

Daphne shook her head "No. Beautiful."

Draco and Hermione looked at her. She looked back in confusion "What?"

Hadrian sniffed the cold air of Romania as he stared at his beloved castle. "Ahh... Excellent. It feels good to be back."

The castle doors opened for him and his three brides before entering inside where a large group in black hoods parted like the Red Sea and bowed before their Prince. Hadrian smirked and walked through. Feeling the old sense of superiority he had missed.

Among the hooded figures stood five different clothed vampires that knelt down before him as well.

Among the vampires as well were several monstrous creatures. A Medusa with a snakes body below her naval and snakes hissing which to Hadrian was them celebrating the return of their master. She wasn't the only one. Her two sisters, Euryale and Stheno stood slightly behind their main sister. Stheno had black and yellow scales like a bee. Euryale had red scales and Medusa had green scales.

A Minotaur with an axe in the shape of the Greek symbol Omega knelt down.

Several Gargoyles watched from the top.

Several skeletons clattered as they knelt down. One lost its head but paid no need in fear of disturbing its master.

The most noticable monsters were a pack of werewolves. These were not wolves the size of bears. Instead these were bipedal wolf men with thick furs of different colors. One black, one grey, one chestnut, and one brown. Their gaping maws filled with sharp canines. They knelt down in submission to their true Alpha.

Hadrian made it to the throne where he sat down and took a deep breath "Rise, my subjects." All who knelt before him rose up and the three brides knelt down, leaning into his knees.

"My friends. It is good to see you all again." Hadrian began "For nearly a year, I was brought to arguably the most famous school known to magical kind. Hogwarts." Several of his subjects couldn't help but snort at the name to which Hadrian smiled "Yes, I too thought the name silly. But make no mistake, it certainly held its reputation. At least to the normal people."

"I speak to you because of one thing. Many of you have heard of Lord Voldemort. Unlike the magical kind, you do not fear his name. Not like you fear mine. What I will say is this... He has returned. He has attempted an attack against me a month before Christmas. That is why we will be preparing... For War."

The many creatures were excited for war. The Minotaur roared and slammed its fist against its chest plate. The Gorgon Sisters hissed and smirked at each other. Thinking of all the lovely statues they'll have in their gardens.

The wolves howled in excitement. The skeletons shook and rattled their bones.

Hadrian raised his hand and the excitement died down. Hadrian continued.

"We won't launch any attacks until I give the proper say so. But you are free to do and kill as you please. But if you do it under my banner... No place is safe from me."

He let that threat hang before finishing "Prepare your armor! Prepare your swords and spears. Stockpile your weapons. Await the call for war! Now go!"

Many of the monsters and vampires dispersed into deeper parts of the castle or outside.

Hadrian smirked as he put one leg over the other with his fingers interlocked together. He stared ahead with his eyes glowing red.

"Prepare yourselves, Voldemort. Dumbledore. Before you know it, it will be Checkmate on this game."

"So it has begun."

"That monster will be the death of us all!"

"No Father! His eyes are set only on the magical world. He has no care for the blissful ignorant mortals."

"I say it's about time the magicals get what they deserve for the bigotry and hatred they've sowed into their own world."

"You approve of the attack on your own creations?"

"I do. I'm ashamed of what they have done to their own world. Your champion will bring a new age, Artemis."

/Hey guys. I'm sorry about the hiatus. I'm sure some of you are aware of what happened in Texas. If you're not then brief summary. We got hit by an extreme snow storm that knocked out the power for about 1.4 million people. All in just Texas. I was one of the few and we lost power for 48 hours. We're back to normal... Well not really. A lot of people's pipes bursted because of the cold. If you live in Texas and your pipes bursted then stay strong my friend. They'll be repaired.

But yeah, I hope you all enjoyed this little chapter. If you have any questions or suggestions that'll benefit this story then please comment down below.

Also the last bit, who do you believe them to be? It'll probably be an easy guess. I'm not a very subtle person.

Anywho hoped you all enjoyed and I'll see you all next time.
