Hello all Storm here with a new story! Well actually a rewrite of my "Neopolitan Ninja" story, since that one really needed some improvements and changes, and hopefully this version turns out better than the first. So, without further ado.

I own nothing

Near the border of the Land of Fire and the Land of Sound, was the Valley of the End. The sight of the final battle between Hashirama Senju and Madara Uchiha, when the latter defected from Konoha. Only to return with the Kyūbi no Yōko under his control, and challenged Hashirama, with their battle having reshaped the landscape. Leading to the creation of the Valley of the End, with statues of Hashirama and Madara having been created to serve as a reminder of their battle.

Currently, another battle was being fought at the valley, between friends and teammates, Naruko Uzumaki and Satsuki Uchiha.

The reason for their fight, was due to the fact that Satsuki had attempted to abandon their home village, Konohagakure. In order to join the Snake Sannin, Orochimaru, so she could gain the power needed to kill her brother, Itachi Uchiha. While Naruko had been part of the team sent to bring Satsuki back, refusing to let her get away.

At the moment, Naruko had begun using part of the Kyūbi's Chakra sealed inside her, enough to turn her eyes red and make her whiskers become darker and more jagged. While Satsuki had black markings covering the left half of her body, showing her Curse Mark was activated. With their boost in power, both Genin were fighting evenly against each other, though they were also starting to feel tired from how long they've been fighting.

"Why, why can't you just leave me alone?! I chose to leave, I wasn't kidnapped, brainwashed, or whatever you think! I chose to leave!" Satsuki shouted while glaring at Naruko with her Sharingan activated, now possessing three tomoes in both eyes, angry that she wouldn't let her go, that she had to chase after her and get in her way.

"I already told you, no matter what happens, I'll never give up on you, or let you run away! Even if I have to beat it into your head! You can either come back willingly, or I'll drag you back!" Naruko said, refusing to let Satsuki join Orochimaru, and just become another one of the snake's hosts.

"I'm not going back! I need to get stronger to kill Itachi, and I can't do that in Konoha!" Retorted Satsuki, her last encounter with Itachi still fresh in her mind, how he easily defeated her, knocking her Chidori aside like it was nothing, breaking her wrist, and then using Tsukuyomi on her again.

No, Satsuki wouldn't get the strength she needed by staying in Konoha. But Orochimaru could give her the power she needs, and once she's learned everything the Sannin can offer, she'll kill him before he can try taking her body. Then once he's dead, she'll hunt down Itachi and finally kill him.

"If you run now, then you won't ever get stronger, you'll always be weaker than Itachi!" Shouted Naruko, with Satsuki's attention snapping towards her, as her eyes widened in anger at what she just said.

Satsuki charged towards Naruko and swung her fist at her, only for the blonde to grab her wrist, with the Uchiha proceeding to slam her knee into her chest. Making Naruko double over, gasping, as the wind was knocked out of her, with Satsuki following up with a spin kick to her head, knocking Naruko aside.

"Don't you ever say that again!" Satsuki growled, refusing to let anyone think she'd always be weaker than Itachi, believing she wouldn't be able to kill him.

"It's true, and you know it! Do you think Itachi or Orochimaru became as strong as they did by running away, to get power somewhere else?! They didn't, they trained their entire lives in Konoha to get to where they are, and you can do the same. You could be just as strong as them if you stayed in Konoha, you would even become stronger than they are." Naruko said, with Satsuki scowling in confusion at what she meant.

"What're you talking about? How could I become stronger than Itachi or Orochimaru by staying in Konoha?" Demanded Satsuki, doubting that was possible.

"Because look at them both. Orochimaru is a Sannin, just like Pervy-Sage and granny. But look at Itachi and how strong he is, and he's not even half as old as Orochimaru, along with what he did to Kakashi. Everything he can do, he learned it in Konoha, and so could you. You could learn even more than he did, and everything he can do, not only growing stronger than he is, but learning how he fights." Naruko said, with Satsuki's scowl fading slightly, as she began thinking over her words.

"And look how strong you are already, like during the Chūnin Exams. You were able to get passed Gaara's sand, something only Lee was able to do before, and he had to take off those heavy weights, just to do it. You were able to do it after just a month of training and was even able to get passed his sand and Sand Armor to wound him. You were also able to fight that bastard Aoi to in the Land of Tea, as well as Dotō in the Land of Snow." Naruko said.

"Yeah, but you were still the one to defeat Gaara and Shukaku, you were the one to kill Aoi and break the Raijin. And you were also the one who killed Dotō, as well." Retorted Satsuki, having begun feeling insecure about her own strength, when Naruko, the supposed deadlast, was able to defeat such opponents.

"I was only able to beat Gaara thanks to Gamabunta, while I could only beat Aoi, after you already managed to damage his sword. The same with Dotō when you damaged his Chakra Armor's core." Naruko said, with the Uchiha looking at her in surprise, having believed her Chidori had no effect on the Raijin, but now is hearing that she did manage to damage it, along with Dotō's armor.

"You may not think it, Satsuki, but you are strong, and you'll keep getting stronger if you really try. But if you run away to Orochimaru, then you won't surpass Itachi, or beat him. It'll be Orochimaru that does it, because he gave you the power to do it. Do you want that, to beat him because someone gave you the means to do it? Or will you prove that you surpassed them both, with your own strength and training, that you got on your own?" Naruko asked, with Satsuki looking at war with herself, as she thought over her words.

Satsuki wanted to find and kill Itachi, more than anything else, but to do that she needed to get stronger. And she could get that strength from Orochimaru, much faster than she ever could in Konoha.

But then what would be the point?

What would she prove, if she gained the power needed to kill Itachi, if it came from someone else? She'd finally step out from Itachi's shadow, but then she'd simply be stepping into Orochimaru's, always being compared to someone else, never being seen as just Satsuki.

'Except by her.' Satsuki thought, while looking at Naruko.

She always saw her as Satsuki, never the last Uchiha, never as Itachi's little sister, she was always just Satsuki for as long as they've known each other. And now she's saying that she was strong, and that she would even surpass Itachi and Orochimaru, if she stayed in Konoha to train just like they did, before they went rogue.

'I never did bother going to my clan's Jutsu library.' Thought Satsuki, knowing the Uchiha Clan has a large collection of Ninjutsu, Genjutsu, Taijutsu, Kenjutsu, and Bukijutsu Scrolls, whether it was from creating them, learning them, copying them, or taking them as spoils of war.

But she never bothered looking through it, having never wanted to return to the Uchiha Compound, after the last time, when she was let out of the hospital after that night. And yet here she was, complaining about not being strong enough, when she had the means to grow, but didn't take advantage of it.

"And if that's not enough to convince you, then I'll always be with you every step of the way, helping you get as strong as you need. Even if it's just to be beaten up and knocked around, I'll be there to help you, Satsuki." Said Naruko, with Satsuki looking at her in surprise, not even noticing as her Curse Mark began receding back to her neck.

"Fine…fine, I'll go back." Satsuki said, sighing while knowing that if she still left after everything Naruko just said, it'd only make her look more like a whining brat, that wasn't getting her way.

It also made Satsuki damn her teammate's/secret crush's stubbornness and unorthodox charisma. But Satsuki couldn't deny that she was also thankful for it, and her refusal to give up on her.

Hearing this, Naruko smiled in relief, glad she was able to convince her teammate to come back. And she intended to keep her word and help her with anything she asked.

Though suddenly, before either Naruko or Satsuki could move, they were surrounded by ten Anbu, wearing blank masks.

"Satsuki Uchiha, we are here to you bring to Orochimaru, whether you want to, or not. And our master requires your presence, Kyūbi Jinchūriki." One of the Anbu said with a blank and emotionless tone, with Naruko and Satsuki tensing at this.

"What the hell are you talking about? You're Anbu, shouldn't you be trying to bring me back?" Satsuki questioned, knowing something was definitely wrong, if these guys were actually trying to bring her to Orochimaru.

"Why are you even here?" Demanded Naruko, since Tsunade didn't say anything about sending Anbu.

"That is none of your concern. Now, you will come with us." The Anbu said, as they all pulled out their tanto's, before charging the two Genin.

Knowing that they couldn't let themselves be taken by these guys, Naruko began pulling out more of the Kyūbi's Chakra, as it began forming a foxlike cloak around her. While Satsuki activated her Curse Mark again, needing the power it provided her, right now.

Unfortunately, even with their power boosts, Naruko and Satsuki were still feeling tired and fatigued from their own fight. While these Anbu weren't just perfectly healthy, but also older and more experienced, as well. Satsuki had even resorted to transforming into the Second Stage of her Curse Mark, turning her skin pale white, her hair growing longer and turning a pitch-black, while gaining large, black feathered wings sprouting from her back.

The starting to put up a better fight against the Anbu, even managing to take down a few of them. Though Naruko then caught sight of an Anbu moving behind Satsuki and pulling out a kunai, making the whiskered blondes eyes widen.

"Get away from her!" Naruko roared, before rushing towards the Anbu while pushing Satsuki out of the way, stabbing her clawed hand right through the Anbu's chest

Only to gasp in pain and clutch her throat when the Anbu managed to slash her across the throat with the kunai. The Jinchūriki falling to her knees as she felt something wrong when her Chakra Cloak began wavering, along with how she could hardly feel the cut healing. With Satsuki's eyes widening in horror at the sight.

"Naruko!" Said Satsuki, quickly going over to see if she's alright, only for her attention to turn back to the remaining Anbu seeing they were closing in on them, making the Uchiha grit her teeth in anger since she couldn't fight the rest of them off and protect Naruko at the same time.

Thankfully however, help soon arrived when numerous Ninken burst out of the ground biting down on the Anbu, before Kakashi emerged from the trees with a Raikiri in his hand. The Jōnin rushing forward and stabbing his lightning covered hand through each of the Anbu's chests.

"What happened?" Kakashi demanded once all the Anbu were dead, looking at Satsuki who had gone back to Naruko's side, with her appearance returning to normal and try to slow the blood loss.

"Those Anbu showed up, they said they were going to bring me to Orochimaru and take Naruko to whoever their master is. Then one pulled out a kunai and tried hitting me with it, but Naruko took the attack instead. She'd needs help!" Satsuki said urgently, making Kakashi frown and narrow his eyes at the Anbu.

'Danzō!' Kakashi thought, recognizing the Anbu and who they served.

Going over to the Anbu with the kunai that hit Naruko, Kakashi grabbed it, knowing there's likely something different about it if it was meant for Satsuki. Before sealing up the bodies as well, as evidence for Tsunade to finally have an excuse to kill the damn warhawk, then lifting Naruko up and looking at Satsuki.

"Let's go now, but you will be answering for trying to desert the village." Said Kakashi.

"Fine, whatever, let's just hurry before Naruko bleeds out!" Satsuki said, not caring about whatever punishment she'll have as long as they got back in time to help Naruko.

Nodding once, Kakashi and Satsuki then took off through the trees back to Konoha

Though unknown to the trio, another being had been watching the fight, a humanoid plant-looking creature with a large venus flytrap around its head. Along with wearing a familiar black cloak with red clouds on it, showing they were a member of the Akatsuki.

This being was known as Zetsu, the spymaster of the Akatsuki.

Zetsu watched the Konoha Ninja leave with a scowl on his face, with Black Zetsu being particularly angry at what Danzō had done, with his actions potentially leading to the death of the Kyūbi Jinchūriki.

'If Konoha doesn't kill you Danzō, I'll make sure the Akatsuki ends your miserable life!' Black Zetsu thought as he sunk into the ground, refusing to let the warhawk get away with potentially ruining his plans.

*Timeskip-One Day*

When Naruko opened her eyes, she mentally groaned when she saw that she was in a hospital room. Looking around, the whiskered blondes' eyes soon fell onto Satsuki sleeping in chair, making her smile glad to see she was alright and back with her.

Sitting up in bed, Naruko opened her mouth to say something and wake Satsuki up, only for nothing to come out of her mouth. Confused by this, Naruko tried speaking again only to get the same result, leading to her simply trying to make any kind of sound, but still nothing happened.

Getting worried, the Uzumaki raised a hand to her throat only to feel bandages wrapped around it. That's when she remembered what had happened, pushing Satsuki out of the way of an Anbu, only to get her throat slashed with a kunai.

'Why haven't I healed yet?! I should have healed! Why haven't I healed and why I can't I speak?!' Naruko thought, starting to panic at the fact she couldn't speak or that she hasn't already healed from the wound.

Just then the door opened, getting both Naruko's attention and waking Satsuki up, with Tsunade entering the room. With both the Uchiha and Senju looking at Naruko only to see her awake and holding her throat.

"You're awake!" Satsuki said in relief before immediately going over and hugging her, which Naruko returned, but looked at Tsunade with a panicked expression while pointing at her throat.

The sight making the Hokage sigh before going over to them.

"First, good work on managing to bring the Uchiha back kid. And you should be thankful you aren't locked up right now." Tsunade said, while narrowing her eyes at Satsuki, having wanted to lock the Uchiha up for trying to defect to Orochimaru.

The only reason she didn't, was because after hearing what happened, with Kakashi backing up her story by giving the Hokage the kunai used on Naruko and the ROOT Anbu bodies. Something that pleased Tsunade, as now she could finally get rid of Danzō permanently.

Plus, she knew if Satsuki wasn't there when Naruko woke up, the Uzumaki wouldn't stop until she found out where she was. And given what she has to say next, it'd be good to have Satsuki present to help support Naruko.

"And…as for your throat. I was able to heal it in time, but…the kunai you were hit with was laced with a very powerful poison; one I've never seen before. It was powerful enough that it was even able to affect your healing factor. I'm sorry Naruko, but I wasn't able to repair your vocal chords, you're now mute." Tsunade said sadly, while Naruko's eyes widened in shock and horror that she could no longer speak.

"I'm sorry, if it wasn't for me, you wouldn't have gotten hurt." Said Satsuki while looking down, knowing it's only because of her trying to go to Orochimaru that Naruko got hurt in the first place, and lost her voice.

Only for Naruko to put a hand on her shoulder and shake her head, while smiling weakly at the Uchiha before pointing at her throat and then at Satsuki, before shaking her head then hugging her. Trying to convey that it wasn't her fault it happened and that she would have still jumped in to protect her. With Satsuki slowly returning the hug, still blaming herself, but was at least glad that Naruko wasn't mad at her.

"Here, you can use these until you can try learning sign language or find another method of communicating." Said Tsunade, while handing Naruko a notepad and pen, with the whiskered blonde nodding in thanks before writing on it.

"How could the poison be strong enough to affect me? Wouldn't the fox get rid of it?" Naruko wrote down before showing them.

Naruko wasn't worried about Satsuki finding out about the Kyūbi, given she already used its Chakra during their fight and against the Anbu, so she figured it's pointless to dance around the issue.

"Normally yes, but this seemed to be a custom made poison to affect those with powerful healing factors, like yours. And given everything I heard that happened and what those Anbu were planning, the poison was likely meant for Orochimaru. Since they were going to take the Uchiha to him as his new body, it's likely the poison was meant to kill him once he took her as his host. With it also being strong enough to affect you as well." Tsunade explained, while swearing she's going to nail Danzō to the wall and have him used as target practice.

"Another reason, is that due to your status as the Jinchūriki of the Kyūbi's Yin-Half, you possess a large amount of Yin Chakra, much more than any other Ninja. Creating an imbalance with your Yang Chakra, so your healing factor isn't at the level where it could fully heal your vocal chords either, even after I repaired most of the damage." Added Tsunade, making Naruko look down with a small nod.

That was something she was aware, given when she had first met the Kyūbi, after Jiraiya threw her off a cliff, she had actually been surprised when the fox seemed rather mellow and cooperative. The girl learning that she had the Kyūbi's Yin-Half sealed inside of her, with it being more calm than its Yang half. Along with being more willing to let Naruko use its Chakra.

Though that didn't mean the Kyūbi was her friend, since it still hated being sealed away, just that it was more willing to work with Naruko.

It had also lead to Naruko being rather talented in Genjutsu as well, due to her surplus of Yin Chakra, but also making her not as physically strong due to having less Yang Chakra than Yin.

"Who were those Anbu anyway?" Questioned Satsuki, wanting to know who those Anbu worked for and make them pay for what they did.

"Not a concern for either of you, since I'll be handling it." Tsunade said tersely.

Before either of the girls could argue against her, their attention turned to the window when Jiraiya appeared and sat down on it.

"Sup brat, glad to see you're still in one piece. And you even managed to succeed in your mission, congrats." Jiraiya said, with Naruko grinning and giving a thumbs up.

"But don't let it go to your head, there's still a lot more problems you have to deal with. And the currently at the top of the list being the Akatsuki, since they will be coming after you. So, you and I will be going on a three year trip to get you trained up and ready to face them." Added Jiraiya, surprising the two Genin, while Tsunade simply nodded, having already been aware of the planned training trip.

Though while she'd prefer if Jiraiya was here to help deal with Danzō and any tricks he has, she'd prefer it more if Naruko would be out of the village for the time being. Given she wouldn't put it past the mummy to try something with her.

"Can I go to?" Satsuki asked, wanting to make amends to her friend/crush for getting hurt because of her, with her question making Naruko smile in excitement at the idea of having Satsuki join them before writing down on her notepad.

"YES! You can come, this way we can train together and spar to help each other grow stronger!" Wrote Naruko, eager for the chance to spend more time with Satsuki, while Jiraiya frowned at this.

"I don't think that's a-" Jiraiya said, preferring if Naruko didn't have any distractions from her training.

"That's a good idea, this way Naruko will have a sparring partner and gain experience in fighting a Sharingan user, given Itachi and Kisame are the ones after her." Said Tsunade while giving Jiraiya a look.

The Hokage would like it even better if both girls were out of the village, since she wouldn't put it past Danzō to use either one or both of them for any number of reason.

While Jiraiya sighed in annoyance.

"Fine, you can come. Meet me at the gates in two hours after you head home and get packed and ready for a three year trip." Said Jiraiya, with Naruko and Satsuki nodding in response.

With Naruko eager at the chance to see what else the Toad Sage had to teach her, while Satsuki wondered if she could also be trained as well. Given how from what she heard, Itachi and Kisame had ran away after Jiraiya showed up after she was knocked out. Showing even her brother wouldn't want to fight Jiraiya, so the girl couldn't deny she wanted to see if she could be trained by the Sannin as well.

Both of them looking forward to the next three years to seeing what they'll learn and how strong they'll become.

*Timeskip-One Year*

Naruko and Satsuki wish they could go back and smack themselves for agreeing to go on this stupid trip.

Only a year has passed into the training trip, and so far, the girls haven't learned a single thing from Jiraiya. At first, he had Naruko begin focusing on dispelling Genjutsu, which was obvious given that's something Itachi specialized in, so she'd have to know how to dispel it. But rather than guiding her through the steps and how to do it, Jiraiya only summoned a toad named Gamakiri then left to do his own thing, meaning to go peep on women.

Though when Gamakiri tried using his Genjutsu Kiss on Naruko, the Uzumaki quickly Reversed Summon the toad, refusing to be kissed by the creepy toad. Plus the fact Jiraiya wasn't even aware of Naruko's talent in illusions and Genjutsu, so she would obviously know how to dispel them, already. Something that only further annoyed the whiskered blonde. Seeing that her "teacher" didn't even bother learning or asking her what she already knew. Just assuming she was terrible at Genjutsu and needed help.

This continued on for a year, with Jiraiya telling Naruko what to work on, then simply leave without giving her anything on what he wanted her to work on. Simply telling her to work on something, usually her Chakra Control or dispelling Genjutsu, then just leave. With the former being another thing she didn't really need help on, outside of maybe some of the more advanced Chakra Control Exercises. Given how Naruko's large amount of Yin Chakra gave her better Chakra Control than most Ninja, both Shinobi and Kunoichi.

Leaving it to Satsuki to help Naruko with what she knew, which wasn't much to begin with.

The only relief they had was that before they left, Satsuki had gathered as many scrolls from her clan's archives as she could. While initially being under the impression Jiraiya would actually train them, the Uchiha still took dozens of scrolls so they could make the most of the three years. But while the scrolls have helped them grow stronger, even with Jiraiya's horrible, and lack of, teachings. They still weren't as strong as they hoped they'd be.

Having thought Jiraiya would actually train them, rather than just leave them alone.

While Naruko was just thankful that Satsuki was with them, since she was able to at least grow a little stronger by training and sparring with her friend. But nowhere near as strong as she'd be after traveling with a Sannin for a year.

It also didn't help that anytime they tried bringing up something else to train in, Jiraiya would just ignore their suggestions, which made the girls even more frustrated. With Naruko being especially frustrated that the Toad Sage wouldn't even let her finish writing anything down, before he leaves.

Currently, Naruko and Satsuki were sitting in some old arena in the middle of a forest, both with annoyed and frustrated looks on their faces.

"This is pointless! What's the purpose of this stupid trip in the first place, if that idiot isn't even going to teach us anything?!" Satsuki demanded, not believing they've been traveling for an entire years and have yet to learn a single thing from Jiraiya.

She was taught the basics of Lee's Taijutsu, increased her speed to match his, how to use her Lightning Affinity, and learned the Chidori from Kakashi in a single month! Yet Jiraiya hasn't taught them anything for an entire year.

"Tell me about it. He didn't even teach me how to do the Rasengan, he just told me the steps and gave me the balloons and balls to figure it out myself, and that was after he stole my money. I'm lucky that I can even make it with a Shadow Clone. That's not even counting he threw me off a cliff to learn the Summoning Jutsu." Naruko wrote, just as annoyed that they haven't been taught anything, with Satsuki scowling while crossing her arms.

"What do you think of just going back to Konoha? Since there we could get some actual training done with my clan's archives of Jutsu and maybe see if Kakashi could train us. Because I don't feel like wasting two more years on this "training trip"." Said Satsuki, while saying "training trip" sarcastically, with Naruko nodding in agreement, having no interest in having even more of her time wasted.

Though before they could gather their belongings, the two stopped when Jiraiya showed up, while stumbling slightly.

"Okay brat, time for the next step in your training. Mastering the Kyūbi's Chakra." Jiraiya said with a slight slur, making Naruko and Satsuki look at him in disgust.

"Are…are you actually drunk?!" Demanded Satsuki, not believing this was actually happening.

"Yeah, what of it?!" Retorted Jiraiya, glaring at Satsuki before walking over to Naruko.

"Lift up your shirt, I'm loosening the seal." Jiraiya ordered, with Naruko scowling at him before writing something down.

"I'm not doing that! And you aren't loosening the seal!" "Said" Naruko refusing to let him anywhere near her seal, making Jiraiya scowl before he roughly grabbed her arm.

"Yes you are! You can do it yourself or I will! Either way the seal is being loosened!" Jiraiya said as Naruko fought in his grip.

"Let her go!" Said Satsuki, grabbing Jiraiya's wrist and glaring at him with her Sharingan, only to gasp in pain when the Sannin slammed his palm into her chest, sending her crashing into a wall.

The Uchiha scowling in anger and went to get up, only to find she couldn't move anymore..

"What the hell did you do to me?!" Satsuki demanded while glaring at Jiraiya murderously.

"Just a little seal to make sure you can't get in the way anymore, than you already have Uchiha. Now, show me the seal!" Said Jiraiya grabbing Naruko and trying to lift her shirt to see the Eight Trigrams Seal.

Only to grunt in pain when Naruko immediately headbutted him, knocking Jiraiya back and tearing her clothes in process. Glaring at the Sannin, Naruko ran over to Satsuki to free her from the seal.

"We're getting the hell out of here." Satsuki said, Naruko nodding in agreement, neither of them wanting to be anywhere near Jiraiya at all, since he's gone too far now.

But before she could free Satsuki, Jiraiya had recovered and grabbed Naruko by her shoulder and threw her to the ground.

"Stay the hell away from her!" Shouted Satsuki glaring heatedly at Jiraiya, only to be met by a backhand from the Sannin.

"Shut up you damn brat! You think you two can insult and attack me like that?! I'm a Sannin, I'm not going to pushed around by snot-nosed runts like you! And what?! Now I'm giving you the training you want so badly and you're throwing a fit about it?! And you thought you brats could just go back to Konoha?!" Jiraiya shouted while glaring at them, having heard about their plans to leave.

"At least we'd be far away from you and actually get some training from a competent sensei!" Naruko "said" before Jiraiya knocked her notepad out of her hand, before her eyes widened in horror when the Sannin pinned her to the ground.

"You wouldn't have gotten far. Now I'm gonna show you damn runts what happens to little bitches, like you! But first, I'm loosening the seal!" Jiraiya said, then to Naruko and Satsuki's horror and fear, he began tearing off Naruko's clothes.

"Leave her alone! Get away from her!" Satsuki screamed, wanting desperately to save Naruko but couldn't move a muscle.

"Don't worry, once I'm done with her, you're next Uchiha!" Said Jiraiya, before punching Naruko in the stomach to stop her struggling.

Naruko gasping silently in pain with tears in her eyes, terrified of what was going to happen. While Satsuki fought desperately against the seal holding her, but it was useless has she was forced to watch what was happening to her friend/crush.

"I'm gonna kill you if you touch her!" Swore Satsuki, while glaring at Jiraiya murderously, not even noticing as Sharingan began transforming into three overlapping ellipses, swearing if he touches Naruko nothing will stop her from killing the Toad Sage.

"You aren't gonna do anything! And after everything I've done for this stupid brat, she should be grateful I'm even helping now!" Jiraiya shouted.

"You haven't done anything for her! You threw her off a cliff, you stole her money to pay women to be around you and get drunk, you did nothing to teach her anything, and now you're trying to rape her!" Satsuki retorted, with Naruko nodding in agreement.

"She wouldn't even have a damn name, if it wasn't for me!" Shouted Jiraiya while glaring at them, making the girls eyes widen at hearing this.

"Yeah that's right, I'm the reason she even has her name! Her parents took the name from my first book and named her godfather!" Jiraiya revealed, much to their shock and horror, that he not only knew Naruko's parents but they named him as her godfather.

"You knew?!" Satsuki said, while speaking for Naruko.

"That's right, I've known the entire time, Minato Namikaze and Kushina Uzumaki, with her own father being my student! And the person who sealed the Kyūbi into her!" Revealed Jiraiya, his anger and drunken state making him not even fully realize what he was revealing at the moment, while Naruko's horror grew to learn her own father was the Yondaime Hokage, the same man that sealed the Kyūbi into her.

"And now you bitches are trying to stop me from making her use the gift they gave her!" Jiraiya yelled.

"Gift?! Do you even known what she's been through her entire life?! What she's suffered because their so-called "gift"?!" Demanded Satsuki, while glaring at the Sannin.

"So what?! They knew the life Jinchūriki live and they still chose to seal the Kyūbi into her! The least she could do is be grateful they even chose her to hold it, instead someone who'd appreciate the power!" Jiraiya retorted, while Naruko shook in shock and horror at everything she was learning.

'Fox? Tell me he's wrong, please tell me he's wrong?!' Naruko mentally begged the Kyūbi, hoping that Jiraiya was lying and that her parents didn't make her a Jinchūriki, knowing the life she'd live.

Only for her hope to be shattered at the Kyūbi's words.

"They knew. Namikaze knew exactly what kind of life you'd live, and so did Kushina since she was my previous host. And while Kushina's Jinchūriki status was kept a secret, she was still treated poorly for not being native to Konoha, having been born and raised in the now destroyed Uzushiogakure. Having only been brought to Konoha to become my Jinchūriki, when the one I had prior to Kushina was reaching the end of her life, due to her special Chakra. But he didn't care, he only cared about preserving the balance and some stupid prophecy. While Kushina caved rather quickly and agreed with him." Said Kyūbi, much to Naruko's horror along with anger that her parents did that to her.

All just to "preserve the balance" and for some damn prophecy!

"Now I'm done talking, that seals being loosened right now!" Shouted Jiraiya, refusing to be stopped anymore.

Neither of them being able to do anything as Jiraiya made the seal appear, before he began loosening it. But just as he did so, Jiraiya cried out in pain when his back suddenly erupted with black flames, while Satsuki's left eye started bleeding as she glared at the Sannin. With this also resulting in Jiraiya ending up loosening the seal more than he intended.

Unfortunately, this proved to be the Toad Sage's undoing as not a moment, later a burst of dark red Chakra threw Jiraiya off Naruko and slamming into the wall. Groaning, Jiraiya looked only for his eyes to widen at seeing Naruko on all fours with six tails swaying behind her, while her body now looking like a miniature version of the Kyūbi with a foxlike skeleton on top of her. With Naruko glaring at him with bloodlust in her eyes now void of any pupils and irises.

Then before Jiraiya could react, Naruko appeared in front of him stabbing her fist right into his stomach, making the Sannin cry out in pain, both at the attack and the corrosive Chakra. With Naruko then digging her claws into his head before throwing him across the arena. With the transformed girl stalking towards Jiraiya, intent to rip him apart.

While Jiraiya looked terrified at Naruko's approaching form, before weakly pulling out an experimental Space-Time Seal he'd been working on. Having been working on a new Teleportation Seal to send people or things to new locations. Having based it off the Summoning Jutsu, without the need for a contract.

It wasn't finished, but if he hoped to survive this, he needed to use it, and he was desperate enough to not care about the risks that'll come with using it. But just as Jiraiya activated the seal, Naruko rushed him and slashed her claws deeply across his chest, making the Sannin cry out in pain again. With this also leading to the seal hitting the ground, while coming in contact with the Kyūbi's Chakra, making it start glowing as it was activated.

Not a moment later, a bright light enveloped the area, with it soon fading, showing Naruko and Satsuki nowhere in sight, while Jiraiya's corpse laid on the ground.

*Remnant-Anima*

Satsuki groaned as she struggled to get up, relieved that she could move again, while looking around the unfamiliar forest.

"N-Naruko!" Satsuki called out, worried about where her friend was and where they even were, only to groan and collapse to the ground.

Hearing the sound of approaching footsteps, the last thing Satsuki saw was a woman wearing a white full-face mask/helmet with red markings. With the mask vaguely resembling the shape of a bird's skull.

*Vale*

Meanwhile, within the city of Vale, a single person could be seen walking down the dark streets of the city, whistling as they walked.

The person was an adult man, with pale white skin, slanted, dark-green eyes and bright, long, orange hair, with long bangs covering his right eye. Black eyeliner traced his visible left eye. He wore a red-lined white suit with long black pants and black shoes. His accessories included a small gray scarf, black gloves with buckled sleeves, and a black bowler hat with a small feather tucked into its red band.

This was Roman Torchwick, a rising criminal in Vale, having begun building a reputation for committing several heists and having eluded numerous attempts of the Vale Police Department to arrest him.

Currently, Roman was enjoying a late night stroll while spinning his cane/weapon, Melodic Cudgel, around while also making mental notes of any place that he may rob later.

Though suddenly Roman stopped walking and whistling when he heard something from nearby alley, one he vaguely recognized as the quiet sound of someone crying.

"Hey buddy, you mind crying somewhere else, you just interrupted my walk." Roman said, only to frown when there wasn't a reaction from the person and they still kept crying.

Annoyed, and even a little curious, Roman went down the alley to see who exactly was crying, only to stop short when he saw just who was crying.

It was a girl, who couldn't look more than thirteen or fourteen, though maybe younger with how short she was, with long stark white hair and pale skin, sitting curled up against the wall. Though Roman scowled at seeing her torn and ripped clothes, being able to guess at what happened, the only relief being he could she still seemed to be wearing her underwear.

He may be a criminal and not care about hurting anyone that gets in his way, but even he had standards. And he definitely crossed the line at a child being touched like that.

"Hey kid." Said Roman, slowly approaching the girl, only stopping when the girls head snapped up and looked at him fearfully as she moved away.

"Easy, I'm not gonna hurt you. Here." Roman said, holding his hands before tossing her Melodic Cudgel, making her flinch before she hastily picked the cane up and pointed it at him.

"There, you have a weapon, and I don't." Said Roman while slowly approaching again, before he slowly took off his jacket, pausing when she swung his weapon at him, before quickly tossing it to her.

The girl looking at him in confusion, suspicion, and wariness.

"Well you can't exactly go around dressed like that." Roman stated as he motioned to her current state of dress, making the girl flinch again before she stood up and began putting the jacket on, never once letting Roman out of her sight.

"So…you like ice cream?" Roman asked once she had the jacket on, with the girl looking at him before nodding slowly.

*Later*

After managing to get the kid out of the alley, Roman had taken her to an open ice cream place he's familiar with and knew would be open. Luckily with it being empty aside from those behind the counter, who wisely didn't say anything at recognizing the known rising thief. With Roman getting the girl a big bowl of ice cream with several different flavors.

It took a few moments for her to try it, acting like it was poisoned or something, but after seeing it was safe the girl began eagerly devouring the ice cream.

"So, where are you from?" Roman questioned, wanting to see where this girl came from and how she got where she was.

Only for her to flinch at the question and shake her head rapidly.

"Okay, how did you end up in the alley and dressed like that?" Asked Roman, getting another panicked headshake in response.

"Can you at least tell me your name? I'll even go first, the names Roman Torchwick thieving extraordinaire." Roman introduced with a smirk and a tip of his hat, only to frown when the girl shook her head again, while looking terrified.

"Well can you tell me anything?" Roman said, the girl shaking her head again while pointing to her throat, as realization dawning on the thief after a moment.

"You're mute." Stated Roman, getting a nod from the girl this time.

"And you don't want to talk about yourself because I'm guessing of whatever happened to put you in the state, I found you in." Roman said, getting another nod in response along with the girl flinching.

"Well shit." Muttered Roman, knowing that may be a problem.

"Well I can't exactly keep calling you girl or kid, and if you don't wanna tell me your name, then I guess I'll just give you one. Is that fine?" Roman said, with the girl seeming to think it over for a few moments before nodding in response.

"Okay, now what name could work." Said Roman, looking around while trying to think of a suitable name.

His attention soon turning back to the girl, seeing her eating her ice cream again, paying the most attention to the Neapolitan in particular.

"Hmm, how about…Neopolitan." Roman suggested, with the girl looking up at him.

"Neopolitan since you seem to enjoy it so much, why not have it as a name. It can even be Neo for short." Said Roman.

The girl looking thoughtful for a few moments, before she eventually nodded with a small smile.

"Neopolitan it is then. A pleasure to meet you Neo." Said Roman while holding out his hand, which the newly named Neopolitan shook without hesitation.

With Neo swearing she will never be Naruko Uzumaki ever again.

So, what did you think, good. Yep this time around Naruko is an orphan and manages to convince Satsuki to come back, only for them to be attacked by ROOT Anbu, with Naruko ending up getting her throat cut to protect Satsuki, with Kakashi soon arriving and taking care of the rest before they rush Naruko back to the village. Then we see Naruko waking up where she learns she's now mute, along with revealing she contains the Yin half of the Kyūbi rather than the Yang half, not only making her talented in illusions and Genjutsu, but also giving her the more cooperative fox. Before Jiraiya arrives and reveals the training trip they'll be going on, with Satsuki tagging along to make amends to her friend. Only for Naruko and Satsuki to regret going as they learn nothing for an entire year, only being able to train with each other and the scrolls Satsuki brought, leading to them deciding to return to Konoha to get some actual training done.

Only for Jiraiya to arrive, being drunk, with things getting worse as he tries to loosen the seal against Naruko's will, before they get even worse as Jiraiya plans to assault them thanks to his lecherous behavior, current mood, and drunken state, along with revealing plenty of secrets, which while not entirely true is how he sees things with the Kyūbi confirming them in its own bias opinion. Before the seal is loosened, more than Jiraiya intended after Satsuki hit him with Amaterasu from her newly awakened Mangekyō Sharingan, resulting in Kyūbi taking control and attacking Jiraiya for what he tried to do. With the Sannin using an experimental Space-Time Jutsu, which sends Naruko and Satsuki to Remnant, while Jiraiya is killed. Leading Satsuki to be found by a certain Bandit Queen, while Naruko (who doesn't have amnesia) is found by up and coming thief Roman Torchwick. And due to the trauma she's just suffered and everything she's learned, Naruko refuses to speak about her past or ever be Naruko Uzumaki again, leading to the birth of everyone's favorite ice-cream girl, Neopolitan! So, review if you liked go away if you didn't.
