Hello all Storm here with a new story! Not really much else to say other than hope you enjoy the story. So, without further ado.

Naruto looked at the graves of Zabuza and Haku with saddened expression, the two having been buried on a cliff, overlooking the bridge that was still being constructed. Along with having Haku's mask and Zabuza's sword added to their graves as markers, to honor their memory.
Sighing, Naruto turned around and began heading back to Tazuna's house. Despite the mission technically being over with Gatō's death and there not being a threat to Tazuna finishing his bridge. Team Seven decided to stay another week, due to Satsuki having been put in a death-like state by Haku and needing time to recover. Along with having to deal with the remaining bandits and mercenaries under Gatō's employ, ensuring that none of them could take advantage of the power vacuum that was left with Gatō's death.
Once he reached Tazuna's house, Naruto headed upstairs to check on Satsuki. Entering the Uchiha's room, Naruto saw Satsuki was still lying down, but was relieved to see she was now awake, glad that his friend was alright. The two having been friends since they were little, before the Uchiha Massacre happened. With the two having become a light and a life-line for each other, to keep the other from falling too far into the darkness they had inside them.
"Hey, glad to see you're alright." Said Naruto, while entering the room with Satsuki turning her head slightly, the only movement she was capable of, since her body still felt numb and sore from her fight with Haku.
"Aside from the fact I can barely move at the moment, I'm just peachy." Satsuki said dryly, before taking notice of Naruto's downcast expression and could guess what was bothering him.
"What about you, are you alright?" Questioned Satsuki, knowing Naruto had taken Haku and Zabuza's deaths hard.
"I'm fine, just…numb right now. Given everything that happened, with how Zabuza and Haku died, along with thinking that you were…" Said Naruto, stopping himself from finishing, since he had been terrified at the idea of Satsuki dying as well, with Satsuki nodding in understanding at what he meant and the feeling of being numb.
"I'm not going anywhere; someone has to be around to make sure you don't do anything stupid. And even then, it's a challenge." Satsuki said, smirking, with Naruto smiling at the ravenette.
"Thanks, Satsuki." Said Naruto, as Satsuki nodded with a smirk before closing her eyes.
"Anytime. Now if you don't mind, I'd like to go back to sleep. And I swear if you tell anyone, you'll regret it." Satsuki threatened, with the Uzumaki chuckling at her before going to the door.
"Right, can't have anyone thinking you're not just a brooding emo ice queen, can we." Said Naruto, smirking.
"Laugh it up, just remember I know where you sleep." Stated Satsuki, with Naruto not saying anything, but still kept smirking as he exited the room.
Deciding to turn in as well, Naruto went to his room and laid down before falling asleep.
*Mindscape*
However, Naruto's eyes opened a moment later, as the boy blinked in confusion at suddenly finding himself in a sewer.
'What the hell? How did I get here? Wasn't I just in Tazuna's house?' Naruto wondered, confused as to how he somehow woke up here.
"We're in your mindscape brat."
Naruto froze at the familiar voice, while his eyes widened in shock in disbelief, before he turned around, only for his shock to increase dramatically at who he saw.
"H-Haku? Zabuza?" Naruto said, not believing that he was seeing the two here, somehow, and not just them either but five other people.
Aside from Zabuza and Haku, Naruto recognized four of the people that he knew shouldn't be alive. Those people being Mikoto Uchiha, Hitomi Hyūga, Shisui Uchiha, and Izumi Uchiha.
"How's it going Whiskers." Shisui said, grinning and giving a two-finger salute.
"It's good to see you again Naruto." Said Izumi, smiling at the young blonde, with Naruto looking at them dumbfounded.
Naruto had met Shisui and Izumi when he was younger, having met them and Itachi after being introduced to them by Satsuki. With Shisui and Izumi having become older sibling-figures to Naruto, like Ayame, along with helping him in his training. The whiskered blonde having always been amazed whenever Shisui used the Shunshin to teleport around or leave afterimages.
While Mikoto, Naruto knew her through Satsuki, but never actually met or interacted with her. Though from the few times Naruto's seen her, it looked like she wanted to talk to him, but something was holding her back from doing so.
And Hitomi, Naruto only knew that she was the mother of his old classmate, Hinata, and that she died not long after giving birth to her sister, Hanabi. Other than that, he didn't know anything about her, but like Mikoto, he'd sometimes see her looking at him as if she wanted to talk to him.
"Naruto."
Hearing his name, Naruto turned to the fourth person, a woman he didn't recognize. With her most striking feature being her long bright red hair, along with how she was smiling at him. Though despite not knowing who she was, Naruto couldn't help but feel that he should know her, along with the way she was looking at him.
'And her face, it kind of looks like…' Naruto thought, before he began shaking as he started realizing who this was.
"K-Kaa-san?" Naruto asked hesitantly and hopefully, while the woman's smile widened.
"Naruto, you've grown so much." She said, Naruto looking at her with teary eyes.
"Kaa-san!" Said Naruto, rushing forward and hugging her tightly, which she happily returned with tears in her own eyes.
"Yes, yes, I'm your Kaa-san." Said the woman, happily hugging her son for the first time since he was born.
"I-I-I don't ev-even know yo-your name." Naruto said his voice muffled.
"My names Kushina Uzumaki." Kushina said, smiling as she rubbed his back gently.
The others smiled at the heartwarming scene, aside from Zabuza who merely crossed his arms and looked away, not wanting to show that he was actually affected by the emotional moment. With Haku smiling at her mentor, knowing he was trying to act tough.
After a few moments, Naruto reluctantly pulled away from his mother and wiped his eyes, before looking around at everyone.
"As much as I'm glad to see all of you again, how are you here? Aren't you all…dead?" Naruto asked, confused as to how they were all here in his mindscape.
"We'd also like to know what's going on as well." Haku said, just as confused, given the last thing she remembered was taking Kakashi's attack meant for Zabuza, then suddenly finding herself here.
"Yeah, cause one minute I'm killing that midget Gatō, the next I'm in a damn sewer. And seriously brat, why the hell is your mind a sewer?" Questioned Zabuza, looking at Naruto, before feeling a cold chill go down his spine as Kushina, Hitomi and Mikoto glared heavily at him, with the Kushina's hair starting to float up into nine strands, while Mikoto and Hitomi had their respective Dōjutsu activated.
"Don't. Swear. In. Front. Of. Children." Mikoto said, her Sharingan glowing menacingly, with Zabuza gulping before wisely shutting his mouth, not wanting to anger the three women.
Kushina then looked back at Naruto, while her smile vanished, knowing it'll be hard for him to hear what she has to say.
"Naruto, the reason we're here, it all goes back to the night you were born. The night of the Kyūbi Attack…" Said Kushina, as she began recounting the events of that night, of the Masked Man who released the Kyūbi and controlled it with the Sharingan, his father being Minato Namikaze, which shocked Naruto to the core that his father was the Yondaime, who fought the Masked Man that freed the Kyūbi, before using the Dead Demon Consuming Seal to seal half of the Bijū in himself and the other half into Naruto.
"This is actually part of why we're here now. The Dead Demon Consuming Seal was developed by the Uzumaki Clan to summon the Shinigami to seal something or someone away, usually into the summoner themselves to trap them into the Shinigami's stomach together. But what your father did was seal half the Kyūbi into you, a being that was touched by it, and exposed you to the Shinigami's power just after being born. It had an unforeseen consequence, where those that form some kind of connection with you Naruto, when they die in close enough proximity of you, they'll be pulled into your mindscape rather than the Pure Land. And the only way to leave, is when you eventually die yourself." Kushina explained, with Naruto gulping at this before looking at Haku, who smiled at him.
"So, it looks like we'll be staying with you for a while, Naruto." Stated Haku, with Naruto relaxing slightly at her words, along with seeing that no one present looks like they'll try and kill him to move on.
"Okay, so…are you all just here then for me to talk to?" Naruto asked, wondering if there was anything else that happened with them being pulled into his mindscape.
"There is something else. You'll also gain the Kekkei Genkai or special abilities of those that are pulled in here, if they have any that is." Answered Mikoto, Naruto looking at her in surprise.
"Then that was real." Naruto muttered, before both he and Haku remembered what happened after it seemed like the latter killed Satsuki.
*Flashback*
Naruto looked down at Satsuki's limo form, his eyes wide open in shock and horror at seeing that she wasn't moving or breathing.
"Is this your first time seeing the death of a comrade?" Haku said from within her ice mirrors.
"Shut up." Muttered Naruto as steam began swirling around him, before suddenly erupting into a burning red Chakra swirling around Naruto and carving into the bridge.
Haku looking at the sudden change in shock, her shock only growing when Naruto looked over his shoulder at her, but rather than his normal blue eyes, his right eye was now crimson red with a single tomoe circling the pupil, while his left eye was a featureless white with veins around.
'The Sharingan and Byakugan?!' Haku thought, shocked to see Naruto's eyes transform into the Uchiha Clan's and Hyūga Clan's respective Dōjutsu.
The red Chakra then seemed to be sucked back into Naruto's body, before suddenly dozens of golden chains erupted out of Naruto's body. With Haku's shock continuing to grow, when they smashed effortlessly through her ice mirrors, destroying them.
'Those chains, they aren't physical weapons, they're solid Chakra!' Haku thought, unable to believe what she was seeing.
Though she didn't have time to think on it any further, when one chain came shooting towards the mirror, she was in. The girl quickly jumping out of the mirror to escape, only to gasp when another chain wrapped around her and found that she couldn't access her Chakra anymore.
Before Haku could react, she was then jerked towards Naruto, who slammed his fist into her masked face, launching her back and shattering her mask. The whiskered blonde only coming out of his rage when he saw her face.
*End Flashback*
"That was real." Naruto said, having thought he had just used the Kyūbi's Chakra and was just seeing things with the chains coming from his body, or seeing the Sharingan and Byakugan in his reflection.
"Yes, it was real boy. And isn't that just wonderful, I'm now not only stuck dealing with three Uchiha and my former host. But now, my current one not only has those damn eyes, but those chains as well!" Kyūbi growled, making its presence known as it glared down at Naruto, Kushina, and the three Uchiha's, with the Uzumaki woman giving the fox an annoyed look.
"Yeah, and don't forget I can bind you again with those chains, you talking rug. And I will if you keep up with that attitude to me, my son, as well as Mikoto and her clansmen." Kushina retorted, with the Kyūbi growling again and glaring at her.
"Damn you and your chains Kushina." Said Kyūbi, before moving back into the darkness and going back to sleep, not wanting to deal with any of them.
"What was that?" Naruto asked, looking at them in confusion at how easily the Kyūbi backed down, having expected it to threaten them some more.
"We and the Kyūbi have a "you leave us alone; we'll leave you alone" relationship. Because it knows that I can kick its ass!" Kushina said, while shouting the last bit into the cage, with Naruto sweatdropping at his mother's attitude, but also couldn't help but think of how awesome she is to say that to the Kyūbi of all beings.
Shaking his head, Naruto looked at Shisui and Izumi, smiling at being able to see them again.
"It's really great to see you guys again." Said Naruto, with the two Uchiha smiling at him as well.
"It's good to see you too, Naruto. Though we definitely weren't expecting to meet you this soon again." Shisui said, having been surprised at finding himself here and meeting Kushina, having been the third person to be pulled after Hitomi, while being followed by Izumi and Mikoto.
"Yeah, but despite the circumstances, we're glad to still be around to help you." Izumi said, with Shisui nodding in agreement, since this would also be a way to help fix some mistakes, like dealing with that old bastard Danzō who took his eye and help Naruto grow stronger.
"We'll be able to help you learn to better use your new Sharingan, since you could now be considered an Uchiha. The only thing missing is learning the Grand Fireball." Shisui said smirking, Naruto smiling in excitement at the chance to learn that.
"And I will help you with your Byakugan and train you in using the Jūken." Hitomi said, with it helping that since she's dead, she won't have to worry about getting any flak from the Hyūga Clan on teaching their techniques to an outsider.
After catching up with them for a while, Naruto then went over to Haku and Zabuza.
"You know runt, I thought that I had seen it all in my life. And yet the moment I meet you, I just keep finding out something else I didn't know." Said Zabuza, seeing how crazy things have gotten since his first encounter with Team Seven, while now finding himself in someone's mindscape.
"I've been known to be unpredictable." Naruto stated with a grin, while Haku giggled lightly.
"I think that's an underestimate Naruto. By the way, when you manage to awaken my Hyōton, I'll help you work on learning it. But we'll have to start on Wind and Water Manipulation first." Said Haku, wanting to help her friend master her Kekkei Genkai, with Naruto nodding happily at getting the chance to train with Haku.
Once he finished talking to them, Naruto looked to his mother, Hitomi, and Mikoto; eager for the chance to finally learn more about his parents. Though one thing did confuse him.
"Uh, Mikoto, Hitomi, not that I don't mind you two being here, but why are you?" Naruto asked, not wanting to sound rude, but he's confused why the two women were pulled into his mindscape since they never interacted or knew each other, so he didn't know why she was here with the others.
Mikoto smiled sadly at this, having always wanted to interact with Naruto, but was unable to. Having been lucky just to see him interact with Satsuki, Itachi, Shisui, and Izumi.
"That's because I'm your godmother." Mikoto revealed, Naruto looking at her in shock.
"Wh-what? Y-you're my…my godmother?" Questioned Naruto, shocked and hurt at this revelation, that she was his godmother and even knew who his parents were, but never even talked to him once.
"Yes, but I swear I didn't purposefully ignore you! I wanted to take you in after the Kyūbi Attack, but after the attack, tensions between Konoha and the Uchiha Clan began rising. Leading to the Sandaime blocking me out of your life, whether it was taking you in or even interacting with you." Mikoto said, with Hitomi nodding sadly in agreement.
"The same happened to me, as Kushina, Mikoto, and I had been best friends growing up, and I would have taken you in had Mikoto been unable to. But I was also blocked by the Sandaime and the Elders, leaving me unable to do anything either." Said Hitomi, both of them saddened that they weren't able to take in their friend's son, and godson in Mikoto's case.
Kushina scowled at hearing this and began muttering to herself all the things she'd do to Sarutobi. Most of which involving the use of a rusty kunai, for isolating her son from two of the few people that genuinely cared about him.
"The old man, he knew. Why?!" Said Naruto, angry, shocked, hurt, and betrayed that the Sandaime knew and kept him isolated, taking away his chance at having a family.
"The village was always distrustful and feared the Uchiha Clan. All the way back to when Madara Uchiha first controlled the Kyūbi, with no one forgetting that an Uchiha could control the Bijū. And if we wanted to, unleash them on Konoha." Shisui said, knowing the Sharingan made the Uchiha truly dangerous clan, even more so if one unlocks the Mangekyō Sharingan and the abilities they gain from it.
"And with the Kyūbi Attack, everyone began pointing fingers at the Uchiha Clan as the ones responsible. Making them even more fearful and distrustful of us." Said Izumi while looking down solemnly. knowing what it all lead to
"Eventually that fear and distrust turned to hatred, hatred that spread to both sides. And a person can only take so much before they eventually snap." Mikoto said, having blamed herself for what happened with Itachi, knowing he had been pulled in too many directions and divided loyalties, until he only had one option left that would keep Satsuki safe.
Though none of the Uchiha told Naruto the truth of the Uchiha Massacre, for both his and Satsuki's safety.
Naruto gulped at this, assuming that's what had led to Itachi doing what he did.
"As for me, the Hokage told me that as Konoha's Jinchūriki, you can't grow to favor one Shinobi Clan over the entire village. With my husband and the Hyūga Clan Elders doubling down on the decision, especially once your Jinchūriki status was leaked. Not wanting to risk their social and political status in the village, for one boy. And one that was considered a pariah in most of the village as well." Hitomi muttered bitterly, since that was something that strained her relationship with Hiashi and the Clan Elders.
"Wh-what?!" Naruto exclaimed, having thought that the village knew that he was the Kyūbi Jinchūriki the moment it was sealed in him, but Hitomi was implying that may not be the case.
"You may not remember it Naruto, but there was a point in your life where you weren't feared and hated by the village. While having a rather normal childhood, despite being an orphan, and was treated like any other child in the village." Hitomi told Naruto, much to his shock at learning that there was a time that he wasn't hated.
"Yeah, it was around the time your were four-or-five, that you status at the Kyūbi Jinchūriki was leaked to the village. While making it sound like you were responsible for the death of your father, the Yondaime Hokage." Mikoto said, as Naruto clenched his first and shook in anger at learning this.
"Do you know who did this?" Naruto asked, while trying to restrain his anger at learning he once had a normal childhood, only for it to be robbed from him.
Kushina, Mikoto, Hitomi, Izumi and Shisui all looked at each other, debating on if they should tell Naruto the identity of the person responsible for leaking his Jinchūriki Status. Before deciding that it would be best to wait until he was older and less prone let his emotions get the better of him.
"We do Naruto, but we can't tell you. Not because we don't want to, but because the person in question has close ties to the Sandaime and Village Elders. And while the Sandaime has stripped him of most of his political power in Konoha, he's still a very dangerous man and would no doubtfully be able to spin it to where you were aggressor." Kushina said, knowing that despite how much she wanted to see Danzō get his just desserts for what he did to her son, Mikoto and her clan.
She knew that it would only result in Naruto being killed or captured by Danzō, while being made into his own personal weapon. Or he will be forced to flee Konoha as a traitor, for attacking a citizen and retired Shinobi of Konoha.
Naruto couldn't help but scowl at hearing this but decided to trust their judgement for the time being. But that didn't mean he would just drop this, as he swore that he will find out who the man that ruined his life is and make him pay.
Just then, the boy felt himself starting to wake up, making him look down.
"Guess it's time to leave." Naruto said sadly, having hoped for more time with them, before looking at his mother when she put a hand on his shoulder and smiled at him.
"This isn't goodbye Naruto. Now that you've entered your mindscape, you've made a connection with it and can visit whenever you want. Along with communicating with us through your thoughts, just think it and we'll hear it." Said Kushina, with Naruto smiling at this, glad that he'll be able to see them whenever he wants.
"One more thing. Take my sword with you; it was meant to be used, not left lying around." Said Zabuza, while glad at his sword was being used as a marker, he'd prefer it still being put to use.
"And take my mask as well Naruto, which I'm thankful you had repaired, since I'd like you to have it." Haku said, with Naruto nodding at the two, before Shisui put a hand on his shoulder and had a rare serious expression.
"Naruto, before you go, I need to ask one thing of you. Something vitally important." Said Shisui, with the Jinchūriki looking surprised at this, but nodded.
"What is it?" Naruto asked, wondering what Shisui wanted him to do.
Only to gain an annoyed expression at his next words.
"Please, for the love of Kami, get your mind out of the gutter! None of us want to spend the rest of your life in a sewer before we can move on!" Shisui said, losing his serious expression and grinned teasingly at Naruto, with the boy giving him an annoyed look at the jab at his mindscape.
"Okay, I'm leaving!" Said Naruto as he finally woke up and vanished, leaving the seven amused spirits.
So, what did you think, good. Yep we see Naruto at the end of the Wave Mission standing over Zabuza and Haku's graves before returning to Tazuna's house where he checks on Satsuki to see how she's doing, with them both soon going to sleep. Where Naruto then gets the surprise of entering his mindscape and encounters not only Zabuza and Haku, but also Shisui, Izumi, Mikoto, Hitomi, and his own mother Kushina. Learning that due to the Shinigami having been summoned the night he was born and sealed the Kyūbi in him, Naruto now has the power to absorb the souls of those that have a connection to him and die in close proximity to him, along with gaining access to their Kekkei Genkai and special abilities. Which will certainly prove interesting, especially with everything Naruto now knows and will eventually learn. So, review if you liked go away if you didn't.
