Author Note: Yes, The Story Lives!

Oh no, not the dreaded author note. I'm sure when a lot of you saw the title of this chapter appear in your alert for this story, you thought it can't be good. Not that I can blame you, I know it's been almost a year since my last update and I am truly sorry about that. Unfortunately, I've had some serious health issues I've been dealing with, so my time and energies have been focused on that more than anything else in my life. However, after over a year of battling, my doctor is very pleased with the numbers that came back for me on my last visit to him. So good news, I can finally renew working on other aspects of my life again like writing, rather than constantly focusing on my health 24/7.

I do appreciate everyone's support of the story and can only ask to please stick with it. I'm very close to having the next chapter finished and ready to post by August 2nd. Which coincidentally is my birthday, so consider the chapter a reverse birthday gift from me to all of you, lol. I decided to send out this Author Note to express my thanks and give all of you a chance to get reacquainted and or caught up with this story, before the release of the new chapter.

I also want to thank everyone for your monumental patience and I hope that I haven't lost any of you as readers to my story. If I have lost some of you, I understand, a year is a long time to wait. But I do hope that you can find it in your hearts to return and continue to read and support this tale. I can honestly say that one of the main reasons I've continued to write this story over the last 10 years is the amazing support and reviews I've received from many of you over the years about it. The positive responses I've gotten in your reviews really do help to give an author the motivation to continue to work on their stories.

There's really not a whole lot left I can say other than to thank all of you once again, for your patience, support, and my appreciation that all of you enjoy reading my story. I will carry on writing this tale and strive diligently to still produce chapters that will continue to bring enjoyment to you all.
