Theme: 11-11-2021 (Veterans Day and Chance's Tenth Birthday)

Scene: The Connor Reese- The Garage

Action: Kyle catches Derek having an emotional moment in the garage. Derek has been pouring all his anger and grief out on the punching bag.

Kyle: Hello, brother. You have been creating quite a commotion. I heard you from within the house.

Derek: My ptsd is getting worse. Please leave me alone. I don't want you to see me this way.

Kyle: I will not go away that easily. I understand that you are in pain. Today is Veterans Day after all.

Derek: We fought in the same war together. We lost many friends back then. How have you dealt with your ptsd?

Kyle (choked up): My anger and grief have come and gone in waves. Focusing on the positive has helped me.

Derek: I loathe your happiness. Is there any good that can come out of my suffering?

Kyle: I love you. You have a family that cares about you. Today is Chance's tenth birthday.

Derek: I can't believe Chance is ten. I remember when he was born.

Kyle: It was a crazy and yet memorable time when Chance was born. He has a special place in my heart.

Derek: What are Chance's birthday plans?

Kyle: Chance wants to eat dinner at Chilis. You can join us for dinner if you want to.

Derek (embracing Kyle): Thanks, Brother. Happy Veterans Day.

Kyle (holding Derek tightly): You are welcome. Happy Veterans Day to you too.

(Derek decides to join his family for dinner at Chilis. They wear their masks except for eating inside the restaurant)

Scene: Chilis

Event: Chance's birthday dinner

Sarah (to Chance): How do you like your Buffalo Chicken Sandwich?

Chance: I love it

Sarah: How old are you again?

Chance: I am ten

Sarah: I pushed you out my body ten years ago

Chance: What do you mean by push?

John: I am eating my dinner. Now is not the time for any birth stories.

Sarah: I am sorry, John

John: I forgive you, mom

Chance: But still I want to know

Kitty: Me too

Sarah: We will watch your birth video when we get home

Cameron (to John): What is a birth video? Do I have one?

John: What the hell?

Kyle (to John): Watch your language

John: I am sorry, Pops

Kyle: I forgive you

Derek (to Kyle): I thank you for inviting me to dinner.

Kyle: No problem, brother

(After chilis, desert time is split between Dunkin Donuts (Veterans Day Sale) and Dairy Queen (Chance's favorite place). They watch a G rated version of Chance's birth video back at the house)

Scene: Chance's birth video (a G rated version)

Derek (examining Sarah who is laying in the bed): You are fully dilated

Sarah (squeezing Kyle's hand): Kyle, I am scared. What if something goes wrong during the birth?

Kyle (massaging Sarah's shoulders): Sarah, you can do this. You are going to give birth to a special baby on a very special day.

(With her family's love and support, Sarah gives birth to Chance. The movie then ends. Sarah and Kyle end the day with making love and watching an unedited rated R (the real and raw) version of Chance's birth.)

Scene 1: Kyle and Sarah's bedroom

Action: Sarah and Kyle have been making love and watching Chance's birth video (the unedited rated r version) at the same time

Kyle (getting off Sarah's body): I am tired now. That's enough lovemaking for tonight.

Sarah (taking the DVD out of the DVD player): Chance's birth was surely a crazy time for us

Kyle (heading down stairs with the DVD): I will take this movie downstairs

Sarah: Just make sure the others especially Chance doesn't watch it

Kyle: I will

(Little did they know the others would watch the movie and become traumatized by it)

Date: 11-12-2021

Time of Day: Breakfast Time

Scene: The dining room

Chance (traumatized): The birth canal

Sarah (referring to Chance): My son didn't embrace me this morning. He keeps on referring to the birth canal. Why is he acting so strange?

John (lying): Nothing is wrong with Chance

Sarah (suspicious): You are too quick with that answer. What is going on here?

John: What do you mean?

Sarah (livid, she stands out of her chair): JOHN KYLE CALEB CONNOR REESE

John: Mom, please calm down. Chance is acting strange because he saw something inappropriate last night. I was also traumatized last night.

Sarah: What the hell happened last night?

Derek: We watched the unedited rated version of Chance's birth last night.

Sarah (shocked): OH MY GOD

Derek: The video was simply bloody and disgusting. I felt nauseous at one point. I may need therapy after witnessing you give birth.

Sarah (to Kyle): You were supposed to make sure that they didn't watch the video.

Kyle: Sarah, I am sorry. Kitty and Chance assumed it was apart of the G rated version. The G rated version with the baby doll ended on a huge cliffhanger. We should've labeled the two dvds more better.

Sarah: You are right

Kitty (to Sarah): Can you please explain the birthing process to me?

Sarah: Not now, but someday you will understand

Kitty: Whenever will that day come?

Sarah: When you are a teenager or older

Kitty: Okay

Chance (hugging Sarah): Mom, I am sorry for giving you pain.

Sarah (hugging and kissing Chance): I love you. You were worth my pain and agony ten years ago.

Cameron (to John): Do I have a birth or built day video?

John: Maybe, Cam

Sarah (restarting her mini van): Our family members are at home. I wanted to spend time with you alone.

Kitty: I hope that I am not in trouble

Sarah (exiting the school): You are not in trouble, sweetheart

Kitty: What is on your mind?

Sarah: Your birthday is coming up soon. I bet you are wondering how you got here.

Kitty: What do you mean?

Sarah: I am referring to your birth story. Chance's birth video has increased your interest in the birds and bees?

Kitty: I am eleven ongoing twelve. I recall you said you wouldn't discuss the birds and the bees until I am a teenager or older.

Sarah: I have changed my mind. We can discuss the birds and bees over milkshakes.

Kitty: Are you serious?

Sarah: Yes. Today is Friday and I want to do something different.

Scene: Post The milkshakes- The Connor Reese House

Kyle (welcoming Sarah and Kitty home): Where have you two been?

Sarah: I treated my daughter to milkshakes

Kyle (taken aback): Your daughter?!

Sarah: I am sorry. I meant our daughter. You helped me to bring her into this world.

Kyle: Thanks

(Sarah discovers they are running low on milk. She decides to go to the store. Meanwhile, Kitty does homework in her bedroom. Later on, a huge commotion beckons Kitty downstairs.)

Kitty: What is going on here?

Kyle (choked up): Your mom has been involved in a car accident. Someone hit her car from behind. I must go and pick her up.

Kitty (choked up): Is she okay?

Kyle: Your mom called me. I think she is okay.

John (to Kyle): I will go with you to get mom

Kyle (exiting the house): You should stay home. Your siblings need you.

John: okay

Kitty: I can't focus on anything else except for mom

John: I understand

Cameron (scanning John): Your blood pressure is up

John: I am worried about my mom

Cameron: Thanks for explaining

Chance (crying on the couch): I miss and need my mom

Derek (hugging Chance): Everything will be okay, buddy. You will see your mom again.

Chance (sniffling): What if she never comes home?

Derek: Buddy, I heard your dad was going to bring your mom home.

Chance: Really?

Derek (gives a teddy bear to Chance): This teddy bear will comfort you until she gets home

(When Sarah arrives home, she is shaken up but appears to be fine. The family loves on her extra hard and longer. Her mini van was damaged, but at least she is alive and uninjured).

Kyle: John has been in his bedroom all day long. What exactly is wrong with him?

Cameron: John received his booster shot on Monday, November 22. I went with him to CVS Pharmacy.
His side effects have been the following: a sore arm, hearing loss, headaches, and body aches and chills.

Sarah (choked up): Poor John

Kyle (to Sarah): Our precious boy will be okay. His side effects except for the hearing loss are normal.

Derek, Kitty, and Chance: Goodnight, John

John: Thanks

Cameron (following behind John): Can I come with you?

John: No, Cam

Cameron (sitting back down in her chair): Why not?!

John: I need and desire alone time

Cameron: I thank you for explaining

Scene 2: John's bedroom

Action: John is sleeping on his bed when Sarah enters his bedroom

John (startled by Sarah's presence): MOM?!

Sarah (sitting down at John's bedside): I wanted to make sure you didn't die in your sleep

John: You are paranoid for no reason.

Sarah (choked up): I am grateful that you are alive
