Hey y'all! Here is the next chapter! I hope you enjoy! I was going over past chapters and realized that in the second chapter it was alluded that only Georgianna and Leopold were going to be in the nursery with the Bennet girls and then in chapter three I mentioned that Anne and Richard are in there as well. I'm going to have it be that at ten you are still in the nursery until your parents say you can leave.

Lady Catherine De Burg decided she was going to speak to Mr. Bennet today about the children needing a governess. She had been observing the girls for the past two days while they had been at Pemberley, and while the girls were well behaved, she believed that they needed a governess to be respectable young women when they get older.
Lady Catherine looked out across the lawn at where the children were playing. The adults decided that a picnic was in order for the day. Leopold decided that he wanted to play and dragged the other younger children into playing as well, all except the younger Bingley girls. The Bennet girls were quick to join in on the fun, it seemed like the longer they were in Pemberley the more they acted like children. Even Jane started acting like a young child. Lady Catherine was impressed when the Bennet girls were able to convince her nephews to join them. As her nephews grew older, they also grew quieter. It usually took Georgianna and Anne working together to get them to join in their schemes. All it took was the Bennet girls to ask them to play for the boys to join them. It seemed like the boys realized that the girls were not going to take no for an answer. She had nearly laughed aloud when she saw Miss Amber simply grab her nephew Benjamin and pull him up.
While the children played the adults sat down and were discussing different topics when Lady Catherine decided she was going to broach the governess subject with Mr. Bennet. Turning the woman observed that he was watching the children with a smile on his face, "Mr. Bennet I wanted to discuss a topic with you of great importance." Mr. Bennet turned to face the great lady and smiled at her, "Yes Lady Catherine?" The woman decided the best course of action was to dive right into the topic, "Your daughters need a governess. I know some admirable young women who would make a great governess for your girls." Mr. Thomas Bennet let out a silent breath, he knew this conversation was coming. He nodded his head, "Yes Lady Catherine, I believe you are right about the girls. I have tried to convince Mrs. Bennet that the girls need one, but she believes she knows how to educate the girls. Though I have decided that the girls are going to have a governess. This trip was in part to see my old friend Darcy, but it was also a chance to think and come up with a decision. Would you mind recommending someone for me Lady Catherine?" The woman nodded and began trying to think of young women that she knew that could be placed with the Bennet family.
The rest of the adults could hear the conversation between the pair and Mr. George Darcy was curious about something, "Bennet, I seem to recall you mentioning in one of your letters that you were teaching your girls, but you have stated that your wife teaches them." Mr. Bennet had a wry smile on his face, "Yes, I teach the girls to read, write, and sums. I also teach them anything they wish to learn. The girls know that I will let them learn anything they wish. If I do not have a proper book in my bookroom, then they know I will order it for them. Mrs. Bennet is teaching them how to keep a house and how to be a proper young lady." Mr. Darcy nodded and Lady Anne was curios about what the girls knew, "What have they learned?"
Mr. Bennet simply smiled, "Since they are different ages, they are learning different subjects. They are all learning Latin and will soon be learning Greek. They are learning advanced sums and the older three girls even help with my books from time to time. They are also learning different areas of history. They are also each learning different subjects. They are also learning the pianoforte and drawing." The others were impressed with the scope of knowledge that the girls had.

Fitzwilliam Darcy was confused. The Bennet daughters were like no girls who had met before. Most young girls he had met rarely spoke of anything but clothes. Even the very younger ones that he interacted with. The only little girls that did not were his sister and cousin and the eldest Miss Bingley. He had heard the Bennet girls speaking about Napoleon! Even Miss Lydia had some ideas on the topic, which surprised him since she was three. He was currently sitting in the library reading a book about farm management when he heard the door open. Looking up he saw that it was two of the Bennet girls. From where he was sitting, he could see them but they could not see him until they were further into the room.
He could see that it was Miss Elizabeth and Miss Catherine. The two girls moved to the two shelves where his father kept the books on horticulture. The two girls each looked at one shelf before each picking a book. He observed them both moving to sit down on a small couch and open their books. He figured that Miss Catherine was simply looking at the pictures, but he was quickly proven wrong when she turned to her sister and pointed to the page and told her sister about what she was reading. Fitzwilliam was a bit shocked; he did not know much about horticulture when he was her age. He did not start his major lessons until he was Miss Elizabeth's age and Miss Catherine was years younger. The Bennet girls were definitely unique, but Fitzwilliam Darcy knew that as long as he knew the girls, his life would never be boring.
*Pride&Prejudice* (This is a bit of time jump back)
Mrs. Hill watched as Betsy put the final dish for breakfast on the table. Since it was only Mrs. Bennet at home, breakfast was a small affair. Though since it was her first morning without her family Mrs. Hill thought that Mrs. Bennet would appreciate having breakfast like they normally did just smaller. Since breakfast was now prepared and set up Mrs. Hill decided she would go alert Mrs. Bennet. Normally she would just wait for the family to come down, but again Mr. Bennet and the girls were gone and breakfast had not been discussed with Mrs. Bennet. She wanted to make sure Mrs. Bennet knew that breakfast was ready.
Climbing the stairs Mrs. Hill was struck with how quiet it was in the house. Usually, the girls were already up and dressed so Mrs. Hill was used to hearing noise throughout the house as they descended to breakfast. Knocking on Mrs. Bennet's door, Mrs. Hill was slightly concerned not to hear anything. Opening the door Mrs. Hill was greeted by the sight of an empty bed. She looked around the room and saw that some of her dresses were missing from her room as well. It was not until she looked at her dressing table and found it nearly empty that it sunk in. Mrs. Bennet was gone.
Hey y'all! I decided to end it here. Don't forget to review and tell me what you think please! I'm curious to see what you think!
