Starting as a CPU from Zero

After nearly losing his life Nise wakes up in another world missing some of his memories. With his appearance slightly altered and having met Subaru, he resolves to help him but also find a way home. But most of all, to achieve a happy ending.

1. Prologue

The Re:Zero characters and original storyline belong to Tappei Nagatsuki. This is written solely for entertainment. Inspiration for my OC's abilities come from TrapMaster20 on Wattpad. Give their books a read if ya don't mind.

Prologue

"Hang on Nise, their has to be another way right?" ??? asks, "You don't have to try to play the hero anymore, so please... stop placing yourself in harms way!" I heard the words of K* but I ignore her anyways. Right now my focus was on the giant mass of pure energy that would soon wreck * if not stopped. But just because I ignored her doesn't mean I didn't hear the truth or those words. And believe me those words hit home. Still though I can't ignore this threat, because... "What you say is true but even still, if I don't do this then, no one else can." I reply back. This statement isn't me being arrogant, it's me being honest. There is no one else capable or that deserves to deal with this. The requirements to deal with this are huge.

So I grab my little sister and pull her in a hug before I freeze her in place using a similar technique to Goku's God Bind, and push her gently but firmly away. Then I turn my attention to the ever approaching massive meteor. Breathing deeply, I focus my remaining energy into my right fist. Soon it begins to glow first white, then purple. I grit my teeth and draw more energy out until my form flickers back and forth, with said energy going to my final attack. My fist is now glowing a bright whitish rainbow color. My preparations complete, I face the mass of destruction heading our way, now in the atmosphere. 'Here it comes'. I think to myself. "Aura...," I begin, "Pillar!" And with that I launch my right fist at the meteor. Upon punching my fist releases the stockpiled energy in a wide pillar of light, so I'm now punching the pillar forward in a clash. The pillar and the meteor connect and I immediately can tell this is going to be a struggle. "Aaaaaaaaaaaaaggggggggggghhhhhhhhh!" I scream out. Fuck, my arm feels like it's close to being ripped from my body! The vibrations alone are rattling my whole body and I can feel the edges of my vision growing dark. I can feel myself being forced back. Maybe I bit off more than I can chew? "Nise!" But this is nothing. Nothing compared to letting this touch the others. And of course Ko* as well. So if I can't stop this then they'll get hurt. 'We can't have that now can we?' I think while grimacing to myself. I can't let them get hurt. So I begin forcing myself forward bit by bit. More, I need more! Forcing the last of my energy out, my form fades back to normal completely. I close my eyes and take a deep breath once more. I then snap them open and push as hard as I can. "Haaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!" I push with all I have left. My body is soon in wreathed in gold as I let loose a final roar before my pillar triples in size and intensity before exploding, along with the meteor. The sky is soon colored gold as well. But that's not the end. Due to me using all my energy, I'm drained. So I can't escape the now approaching residual blast. This is why no one else deserves this cause the price is most definitely death. Resigned to this, I look at the locket hanging around my neck, and view the photo inside. It shows me and a girl posing next to each other with victory signs, laughing together. The same girl behind me. I look back at her and smile. I love you Kotori. I whisper before I'm about to be consumed by the blast. The last thing I see is Kotori struggling to escape, to try to save me. Upon realizing she can't she cries out one last time, "Nise!". I smile one last time and push her away telekinetically with the meager amount of power I have left.

"Take care of her. Shidou."

And then I was consumed by the blast and knew no more.

So any thoughts on my new story? I've introduced my OC and a major hint on where he is from. If you don't get the hint... uh, sorry?

Anyways this is just the Prologue so it's much shorter than I hope my other chapters will be. Anyways that's all I have to say. Oh, please leave a review on what you think of my story. Any and all criticism is appreciated. Except for blatant rudeness.
