In this world, the Scarlet Guard is gone with only few pockets of red resistance. Cal is dead. And no one dares challenge the Nortan throne, even newbloods. Elara Diana Calore is the Norta's Whisper Princess. She's the daughter of Maven Calore and Mare Barrow. The story is written from the perspective of a diary and from herself on her life in a very different future.

Note: She was named Elara because she had a similar resemblance to her Maven's mother (except her hair colour which is river brown not ash blonde) as well as sharing her ability, despite being a newblood. Mare did not like the idea of naming her daughter after the Merandus Whisper so her middle name is Diana, which is Farley's first name.

Elara inherited most of her features from her Father than her Mother, making her look more like Elara Merandus. She is also described to have pale blue eyes, high cheekbones, straight nose, V shaped face, straight eyebrows, and straight river brown hair.
