Now with the giant robot fight coming up, only Crimson Ninja is left and what happens next the world is never the same. Finally able to move on the next world will be a double feature of Spyro the Dragon and Crash bandicoot series. There will be series that have this combination either by traveling from two worlds in unheard of methods or the fictional series are combine into one world.
Before continuing I do want to say thanks for sticking around for this long and sorry for not working on this as much. Most of the time there has been more personal problems then me trying to write stories, but these recent times have been different. And I do know the recent year hasn't been kind for any of us, with many suffering from Isolation. But now we have chances to change any personal problems that linger or things that can be fix up. So with that, here is the chapter and soon proper completion of this world.

Chapter 17: City of Apes - Crimson Mecha
Moon Base - Earlier
While the battle down below with Specter has started, Crimson had other plans in mind. Looking around the interior of this great machine, he could see great potential and what he could with this machine. While Specter has played his part, the fact he wasn't consume by the darkness shows his own strength of will. Yet Crimson had this sense that the darkness is not strong enough to defeat these outsiders. He does not know why, but the one in Straw Hats feels much more different then the others. While he ponder this, much of what has happen ruined their plans, granted it was more collaboration then actual planning. Still to see all these outsiders somehow destroy them is insulting at the least, but now he plans on giving them what they want.
"You had ruined my plans, but now I will ruin your world." Crimson said as he place himself inside the core of this Mecha suit, charging it up using the power of darkness at his command.
Moon Base - present
Luffy, Tifa, Spike, Chopper, Jake and Specter watch as Crimson Ninja slowly started the machine of destruction. Everyone quickly moved from their spot as to not be in it's way. as it turn to face the doorway marching off to leave this base.
"Is that robot moving... THAT IS SO COOL!" Luffy shouted with stars for eyes, Chopper joined him as he too enjoyed robots like some of the boys.
"What is it with you boys and robots?" Tifa asked. However before they could act something strange is happening to the mecha, as the darkness started to spread outside of it's body.
"Oh no, the darkness. It's trying to consume the machine and this base!" Tifa realize in shock as they tried to move. Luffy would have rushed towards the wall for an quick escape along with Tifa trying to help, Spike and Chopper grab both Jake and Specter respectively, but the darkness spread too quickly before they could come up with some defense or counter for what is about to happen. However Specter had already been awake watch with both shock and horror as the memories of his actions flood into his mind. Remembering all what he has become and how he treated his monkey companions, something in him change. With this strong memories attacking his mind, he used his new found strength and power to created some shield over each of them as the darkness soon consumed not only the robot, but also the moon base.
In the midst of this transformation, the base had change of color and form as it no longer was just some random building. Now with the darkness used by Crimson Ninja, the base slowly is converted into a giant robot big as the base. But now it has purple like color, with blue like veins that travel throughout the entire base, some parts of the body is colored reddish-pink from it's hands and feet, and on the back is some forms of jets along it to move around flying, but the eyes are then yellow with the chest showing an heartless symbol on it, and antennas on the head. This was mech Shadow, inspired by the weakest shadow form yet still can be many as it's size.
When the darkness is finished consuming everything, everyone believe that they would have died then and there. But when they look around they saw everything is okay, even saw the shield created by Specter as they turned to him when he brought it down.
"Specter?" Spike finally said surprise by his actions.
"Don't thank me yet... I just didn't know why I did that." Specter reasoned to himself and everyone around, for now they accepted his answer but also must focus on what is happening now.
"WHOOOOA, THAT IS EVEN MORE COOLER!" Luffy, Chopper Spike couldn't help but admit to this new machine.
"WILL YOU TAKE THIS SERIOUS FOR ONCE!" Even though Tifa knows they can take care of themselves, she couldn't help but realize how much stress Nami and Robin must feel from all this nonsense.
Specter
Everyone turn to face Crimson Ninja who is operating the machine, yet when they look at it once more. Everyone is utterly shock by the change of design, the mecha no longer had any monkey design, now is replace with some ninja in red battle armor with a short swords on both sides and some gear strap on the shoulders and back. The pilot look down on them as it saw their shock expression.
Surprise, guess you outsiders haven't seen what my kind can do.
Not that I blame you, most of them have lost their intelligence, and can no longer feel or think for themselves.
"So your the guy in charge? Surprise that you came up with this scheme, even more so how you united everyone to fight for this cause, or do you even have any?" Tifa said both to mock and curious about his being.
Believe it or not, this was not all my plan.
Most of it was suppose to gather enough heartless from this world, find the keyhole, and convert others into our heartless allies who haven't change by the darkness. Specter and his monkeys would have made good addition to our growing numbers.
"So basically you would have went out, followed your instinct and force others into being what you are?" Tifa assumed about Crimson Ninja, knowing this is basic instinct for heartless.
Don't act so high and mighty with me, it's because we are heartless our instincts have no reason to change or stop ourselves.
"Yet you are intelligent enough to realize your wrong for forcing others into darkness. Our hearts may contain both sides of light and dark, but we can't control or use the darkness like some would believe. We would destroy ourselves when abusing the darkness. Now I can't say if you were a good person or you did this to yourselves. But I do know that you are aware of this and have done these acts out of spite." Tifa accused him having some intuition that Crimson Ninja knew and just didn't care about what others felt or chose for themselves.
You have no idea how much we have to control our urges to take hearts then and there.
How everyday of our lives is like living some nightmare, where you have to always eat people's hearts day in and day out.
Worst of it, is we have no idea why we craved for people's hearts.
Most of us just do this out of some instinct, like some command we have to obey or else be destroyed by our own violation.
I do remember that I was a proud ninja, meant for greatest the world has ever seen.
I don't remember what happen, nor remember why I became like this.
Yet I do know that our world is destroyed by these... heartless as everyone called them.
When the world fell into darkness I do know that everyone tried to destroy them.
Yet no matter what we did or how we fought, they just kept coming.
That is until I was killed by them, I remembered the feeling.
My heart being taken, rip out as it slowly consumed by darkness.
This then led to me being change into something I wasn't aware or have control of my body.
Yet it was only when this world through some unknown means I and others have regain some form of intelligence.
And with this new found intelligence and power, I intend for everyone to not only experience my grief, but also show the worlds it's power.
"So your just some spiteful man, deciding that others should suffered for your own problems?" Tifa said unsurprised by his scheme.
That's only for me, the others had their own plans.
But because how our powers operated by instinct, we couldn't leave this world without using our abilities.
For using too much of our natural bodies changes us into mindless monsters you slay.
One thing that has been common for us is our hidden desires we seek.
For me, this plan and scheme is my hidden desires, knowing my fate and destiny has been sealed with no escape or hope.
The others like Marine Virtual, wanted to study and collect information on all worlds without hinderance.
As you can guess all of us had our reasons, yet the only reason we had unity is because our goals to leave this world is fully agreed.
Everyone listening can now confirmed their theory about these intelligent heartless and how their powers more so operated on instinct instead of control. This is both good and bad news for both different reasons. Good news is that if they encounter more of these guys, they know how to fight them and know they would have to train themselves to use their powers again. The Bad news is they are much more smarted and if they had more time, no doubt they would destroy this world in months without effort. Having some confirmed or questions answered about their nature is relief, interesting and sometimes frightful for anyone listening or hearing this from Crimson Ninja. But one thing is certain is because their hearts are consumed by darkness, no doubt their own personality is transformed into something negative or outright self-seeking. Knowing this they would have to be careful when see more like him and others. While Specter is indeed a threat, he most likely was a puppet unknowingly being used for their own gain.
"Since your plans are no good, I assume your going to consumed the world somehow?" Tifa wasn't too surprise by all this, having some to few experience dealing with heartless and world conquers that this just seems like those Taco Tuesday for Tifa.
Haven't you figure it out, your own the very machine that will destroy that world.
I call it Shadow Mech.
This declaration brought everyone alarmed and realization that this base.
"So wait, we're inside a moon base, that literally transformed into a robot, with a robot that is somehow controlling both of them." Luffy stated, but then shouted with excitement, "This is beyond cool!"
"Would you cut it out already, we have a situation!" Tifa scolded Luffy trying to keep him focus.
"I can't... control myself..." Luffy turn to face Tifa with tears of joy flowing out along with Chopper and Spike joining them, "Thank you Tifa, this day is the best day of my life."
"I DON'T CARE, HURRY UP AND FOCUS ON THE TASK AT HAND!" Tifa both shouted and punch Luffy at his head, slamming his head down and back up stretch.
Regardless, none of you will be able to escape.
For this time, you will be trap here with me and you will die.
When hearing this Specter couldn't help but feel dumb for not realizing he was being used so easily. But didn't have time to think as Luffy, Tifa and Chopper had help them moved away from their spots, where Crimson almost crushed them with his foot. Now in his robotic form he is more limited with his movement and combat, yet for this purpose he plans on using the now transformed base as his meteorite to destroyed the world below.
"There's no way out!" Spike told the others as they double check only to find he's right.
"So what do we do?" Chopper asked.
"We kick his butt." Luffy then charge at CN new robot form as he jump avoiding another stomp from him as Luffy brought his two arms back to launch an Gomu Gomu no Bazooka at the chest. While Luffy is successful, he was also swatted aside by CN with his right arm. This made Luffy launch back against the wall while CN fell backwards. Tifa took this moment to run towards CN and jump up to attack from above slamming her right fist hard on his chest before CN could get up or block in time. With this happen, CN tried it again only this time actually made the robot roll aside, at this point Tifa jump away safely from this as CN got back up now ready for combat.
I underestimated your strength, but not this time.
Somehow CN phase through the wall disappearing from sight.
"Oh great, we lost him." Tifa said, annoyed that CN got away.
"We have to find him somehow." Spike said.
"Hold on, I know that a lot has happen, but could you guys at least tell me what has happen?" Jake shouted suddenly everyone notice he is okay, up and moving again.
"Jake, your okay." Spike said in relief.
"Look as much I like to say I'm okay and now free from Specter's control, I can't help but notice this isn't your normal situation and like to asked, WHAT THE HECK IS GOING ON HERE!" Jake express his frustrations as he felt most of this is Specter's fault yet somehow knew it was also his own fault.
"Short story, you were controlled by Specter who been empowered by the darkness and used your inner darkness to channel that power into some weird persona. Leading to you almost killing your friends and us, who are trying to help save the world from monsters called Heartless that are born from darkness in people's heart. And are now in the final boss battle that is using Specter's resources to destroy the world and us along with it." Tifa explained, causing more confusion then necessary.
"...That is THE most dumbest explanation I have ever heard in my entire life!" Jake shouted in annoyance.
"Trust me, it doesn't get easier to accept." Spike tried to calm his friend's nerves.
"It's a mystery darkness." Luffy said with a grin.
"As much as I would disagree, Luffy's own simplistic answer makes more sense then Tifa's explanation." Chopper sigh at this conversation.
"Boys." Tifa groaned at them, but couldn't help smiling as she ventures with them, "Anyway, we need to somehow get out of here and stop CN from destroying your world. Only problem I don't think we can bust it open." Tifa admits.
"Maybe I can." Specter moved forward, floating in the air without his chair. Then using both hands somehow created an opening that can be walk through by everyone. At that demonstration, both Spike and Jake's jaw drop at his display of power, with Spike weakly commented, "T-That'll do." Not wanting to argue or question why, everyone got out only to realize the entire base is now transformed into some human body and they were the blood cells inside someone. They saw purple walkways in some cylinder circle with blue veins traveling through one direction.
"Okay, we're screwed." Tifa admits not knowing what to do next.
"Which way?" Chopper express everyone's thoughts on the matter, not knowing what to do next even with their heartless expert, they are both powerless and clueless for this matter.
"Allow me." Specter once more demonstrated his new found power and created some sphere surrounding him and everyone gathered together. With all his will power, Specter lifted everyone up and blasted them towards the opposite direction from where the veins are traveling.
"Where are you taking us?" Spike asked confused by Specter's actions as of late.
"To where we should be, I know where CN is located and I want to meet him again." Specter explained.
"Again?" Tifa suspiciously asked.
"Don't take this the wrong way, I'm not joining him nor helping you lot for free. I just want to ask him something for personal reasons." Specter said concentrating on the task at hand. At the moment the ride was quiet as they probably had a long way to go towards the top, but seeing they have the time Spike started the conversation.
"So Specter... feeling good to talk?" Spike wondered.
"I will admit this is something unexpected, granted I always thought I would be a mindless monkey once I lost that helmet." Specter admits.
"I'm actually surprise you accepted your new abilities and able to talk now, I figure you were someone that would want an answer to everything kind of guy." Tifa said to Specter.
"It's something I always wanted." Specter confess as he explained further, "Yes I am shock by this new abilities and power of speech, it shouldn't even be possible if logical dictates the world. But ever since I had that Pipo helmet on my head, I always knew that once I lost that power, I would... When those things attack my laboratory, somethings happen that lead to them gaining intelligence. Then I was offer power from that, at first I wanted to test their powers of how much I can do, after some practice I even took off my helmet and was able to speak. I don't know how but I was able to finally speak without the helmet on my head. When offered to free my kind, I thought that with this power I could do what it takes to free my kind from the humans.
But that power... it consume me. I even was aware of this and I allowed it because being able to have this over being cage was better option. Maybe I was fooling myself to the believe I can control it, but when you spoke about the darkness and how our hearts couldn't control it. I was foolish... I even hurt my kind because I just wanted to finally be free from my shackles. But now, now I want to know if everything I did meant something, or was it just me being selfish. I maybe some evil tyrant to you humans, but I had the best interest to my kind, now... I can't even face my kind for what I done." When Specter finish his explanation, some of them couldn't help but feel sympathetic towards Specter, now free from the darkness.
"Then go see them." Luffy said, making some turn to see Luffy with his eyes shadowed by his hair.
"If you cared for them, you should at least face them head on. We wouldn't have gotten here if they didn't help us fight those monsters, they wanted you back to them the way you were. If you cared about your kind, then you have to face them. They are your friends right?" Luffy bluntly said with small hints of seriousness and understanding. Tifa at this moment starts to see Luffy in different light as she's realizing why he's captain of this crew. He's own personality not as a leader or some stereotype pirate isn't what makes him in captain, it's how he treats others as his friends and see them past their pains and troubles that bother them most. Tifa couldn't help but smile at this and knows this was just the beginning for their adventure. Which is lot to take in as they haven't even explored 5 worlds and already this feels like some third to last world boss battle on the adventure story. She would have to talk with others about the world's state as of late.
Shadow Mech - Crimson Ninja main control room
At the head of the New robot created from parts of Moon Base. A robot is sitting on some chair controlling the Shadow Mech. using it to guide towards the world. While he could have easily destroyed the people down below, he didn't want to take some minor chance those outsiders would interfere. So far they have proven to powerful for his own good, along with some individual most likely the brains of their operations. Which is why this time CN would pilot this new giant building size mech at some distance and launch his most powerful attack from space. The only problem is he doesn't know where it would be most effective, not being smart to figure this out the only conclusion is to somehow launch an powerful attack from a distance to destroy and consume the world into darkness.
Now the world will suffer, knowing what true darkness lays ahead.
If Marine Virtual was here, he would have figure out the controls of this weird contraption.
As CN look over the controls once more, sensors went off around the inner control. Realizing they are approaching his location, CN had his own little surprise. With one snap and silent command, barriers are activated until Specter and his newfound powers to trap them. The only problem he can focus on the controls of this ridiculous machine. CN never thought he would have to control this machine by himself, mostly because some of the tech savvy was left to the brains of this operation. Knowing this would take awhile, he decided to look into the manual control to figure out what he should do next.
Shadow Mech - Luffy, Tifa, Chopper, Spike, Jake and Specter
While they waited for their arrival towards their destination, Jake is informed of the recent events. Specifically to what happen after he was mind controlled, this has led Specter actually informing Jake on some parts that have happen and actually making conversation with everyone. Even though Specter seems out of character for him, his behavior is at least strange and weird for them. More so for him to actually help humans, granted for both Luffy and Chopper they are both animals of part monkey and reindeer for either of them.
"Whatever, have it your way." Luffy enact Leon's whatever attitude making Chopper laugh at his silly impression. Luffy has done some impressions of not only Leon, but also Auron, Cloud, and others from his crew. Tifa, Spike and Jake couldn't help but laugh at his impressions as Luffy's fun loving nature had soften the seriousness of this fight.
"Man, for pirates you two don't act like one." Jake comment at both Luffy and Chopper.
"Luffy not one to start fights, usually we just have fun and go one adventures. But we also have dreams as well." Chopper said and with Jake turning to face Tifa.
"I assume you are part of this pirate crew, but I get the feeling your not." Jake stated though observation.
"Your right to think this, I am part of the Radiant Gardens restoration Committee." Tifa said, but Luffy then interrupted.
"They are so cool, they have swordsmen like that Squirrel Leo, Cody Strike, and Aero." Luffy is then smack upside the head by Tifa shouting and correcting him, "THAT'S SQUALL LEON, CLOUD STRIFE AND AURON YOU IDIOT!" Tifa made a quick mental note of her reaction, realizing she did what Nami would have done in this situation.
"Somehow I feel that's too common for you people." Jake comment by their interactions.
"Actually... that was new." Tifa lost in thought, she knew they needed the pirates help to return home, but to have their own positive atmosphere to effect her this easily. They really aren't bad people at heart she thought, if anything they could have been adventurers on the seas. Suddenly they felt themselves being shaken by some force from Specter making movements that are to radical for them. As they are pushed around back and forth, they come across what appears to be some barrier Specter tried to avoid, but has them trap between the two barriers.
"Great, looks like CN has us trapped." Specter lowered them down, but just as he did some heartless started to appear mostly the basic heartless like powerwild and bouncywild.
"We'll take care of these guys." Tifa said annoyed by this development as they are running low on time.
"I'll take care of the barriers, I might be able to break this barrier, but I will need time." Specter told them, he began to work on the barriers. The others took care of the heartless. Tifa look at Specter with some concern and uncertainty.
"How would you be able to break the barrier? Nobody has been able to preform that when these guys appear?" Tifa asked.
"That's because you don't take the time to study this stuff. I was able to know and discern the barrier when using the powers of darkness, especially when you guys went off fighting. Once I understood it's effects and the material to create them, I now can use my psychic abilities to rip it apart. But this will be temporarily, once I make a opening you guys need to get through and stop Crimson from fulfilling his plans." Specter told Tifa.
"What about you?" While not concerning to the point since he's the bad guy, she still cares enough for life and people in general.
"I... I messed up. I thought having the darkness would have been good for monkey, but it turns out I was willing to hurt others because I didn't get what I wanted and not cared about the freedom of monkeys. If anything the darkness brought out the worse of me, showing I was doing this for myself. I even treated those around me with this... know that I would be taken back and lock up for good. So if anything I least allow me to make this up by helping save the world." Specter pleaded as he work on the barrier, Tifa look back at the others fighting the heartless and at Specter. She nodded in okay and went back to help the others.
Tifa always favored hand to hand combat as her go to fighting style. While at times she would need magic to increase her abilities, she always had a handle on the situation. For the most part, Tifa is able to knock them out with only one jab or two. The heartless types they are facing are much weaker then what they have face on this world. She would sometimes used her magic from fires to thunders, but her most expert magic is gravity. Able to not only use this to flatten enemies, but also extended her magic to create some gravity blast from her fist. This would send many heartless flying if they try to block or have direct contact with her fist.
Chopper stick with Spike and Jake using his heavy point to fight off the heartless. Spike is unsure of this fight as he did what he could with the gear presented with him along with trying to fight with all his might. But regardless of this Spike felt much of his courage is raised thanks to fighting alongside Chopper, the two would have each other's back. Spike taking out one heartless from striking Chopper in couple of hits while Chopper would pick up two and slammed them together. Jake however is the surprising as he not only was punching with much more strength then usual, he also was moving faster, jumping higher and is considered much stronger then before. Whatever he gain from removing the darkness in him, it certainly empowered him to the point of actually being superhuman.
For Luffy this wasn't too hard as he was actually trying some new tricks with his monkey form. One of them is using his tail in certain situations and his feet for attacks, he learned at to use Gomu Gomu no Galting with his bare feet while standing on his hands. When he jump higher then before, he did this same trick but with all five limbs from his two hands, two feet and tail for extra effect. This move is then called Gomu Gomu no thunder, an devastating move that left nothing except for bumps and dents in the entire base. With the fight continued, Specter did his best to break the barrier. After some effort he finally did bring the barrier down, but only for a moment since it's trying to close the open area.
"There not stopping!" Spike shouted, feeling overwhelm by the number of monsters.
"We have try, if we don't then everything we have done would be for nothing." Tifa told them.
"Man, this feels different." Luffy said while fighting the heartless now standing side by side with Tifa.
"Well fighting in that form must be rough-"
"I don't mean that." Luffy then punch and kick another heartless staying focus on the task, "These heartless, they have this weird feeling about them. When I fight others animals, marines, pirates, it always felt exciting since we normally fight those that attack us, but then there are times they made me mad. Those times I just wanted to help my friends and stop them. But these things, I don't know why, but fighting those heartless always felt like... why do we need to fight." Luffy said about his feelings, Tifa wonder if he's somehow sensing something they wouldn't on their own. Whatever the case, she still has to focus on the task at hand.
"Everyone get through now!" Specter ordered. Seeing he has actually open the barrier. They run towards Specter as quick as possible except for Tifa who stayed with Specter to make sure eh gets through. Once they reach the small gateway, they ran through as Tifa and Specter as the last ones.
"What are you doing, you need to get through now!" Specter ordered.
"Can't, got to make sure you make it through this as well." Tifa said to Specter.
"What are you talking about hurry up and get through." Specter shouted, but before the two can argued, Luffy had grab both of them and with quick hard pull, both manage to get through before it closed on them faster before Specter or Tifa realize what happen. When they got up Tifa took note he used his tail grinning like a monkey.
"You know, for a moment I would swear you were raised by monkeys." Tifa said to Luffy.
"Why..." Everyone look to see Specter confused and frustrated with them saving him, "Why did you save me, I messed up and tried to atone for my sins. Why would you-"
"Because your being a coward." Luffy bluntly said with a straight face. Specter look at him with both confusion and anger if it was possible, "You wanted to save your monkey kind, bringing freedom for them and yourself. But you also did bad things that nobody would forgive you for them. But even though you shouldn't run from what you did and are trying to achieve. Keeping looking for your freedom along with your friends, and don't run away from it. I don't know you as much as the others, and I heard you have done bad things. But at least you were willing to help your friends for a time. " Luffy told Specter, when looking at Luffy he couldn't help but gain insight to who Luffy is as fellow monkey.
"Luffy right, we all have our own problems and demons we don't want to face. But that doesn't mean we try to run from them because we quit, you gave your kind hope and wanted freedom for monkeykind. At the same time, you didn't have to rule the world just to prove something. I was once like that, I wanted people to know me but I was a monster to them. Yet when someone gave me a chance, would learn hot to be a great doctor. Then Luffy came into my life and now I have friends and meet people both good and bad. I maybe a monster to everyone, but that doesn't mean I gave up. You will be labeled a monster, but you shouldn't give up because of your mistakes, keep on fighting for your dreams, for your friends and family, for those who you came to know and love. Don't run from yourself." Chopper told Specter, many of them are surprise by Choppers words to Specter. Luffy couldn't help smile for him as Chopper has grown from his days on drum island to what he's become now.
"Both of them are right, I mean what you did is bad, but that doesn't mean you get to walk away from it. You can still make up for this and your kind when you return, look at Jake, he turned against us even if he was mind controlled, but we gave him a chance, you can do them same." Spike gave some encouragement which then nailed the coffin for Specter as he couldn't help but shed some tears at the amount of kindness they are offering.
"Thank you, even when I don't deserve it, thank you." Specter said grateful for their kindness. While Luffy and the other Straw Hats can be unforgiving, this was a time they could see Specter is being sincere with his apology. After all someone like Franky was once a bad guy towards them, but since they got to know him better, they became friends and he help give them a ship. Luffy and Chopper are giving Specter that same chance, unfortunate that there is stuff going on as they need to save the world from Crimson Ninja.
"Yosh, let's go." Luffy shouted, Specter then raised the shield as they venture off towards where Crimson Ninja is located. What traps and heartless they might face is unknown at this point.
Shadow Mech - Crimson Ninja
After finally looking over the controls through the manual instructions, CN then input some codes for calculations for where be the best place to strike or hit the world from outer space. To say this would have been done easily is sorely misunderstood, while technology has progress for this world, it has not improved to the point of speed.
30 percent power till fully charge
Just what I need, if only I had kept better eye on Marine Virtual this would have been much simpler.
I don't think the world I came from had this much complications.
But this technology is much more improvement then using the darkness for wasting energy.
Still, using the dark powers Specter had gathered and now converted into this machine.
I will move on from this world, using the heartless to seek other worlds so that they may experience what I have to endure.
"HEY DARKY NINJA!" Luffy shouted, gaining his attention as he face towards where Luffy and the others appeared. In his new robot suit, Crimson Ninja turn to face them standing on a platform big enough for him. When everyone saw their surroundings, it was mostly an empty head with only one platform big enough to have many control panels for this big mech. Yet above them at the center is another platform floating above with a hole underneath.
"Whoa, this place is huge!" Luffy shouted in awe.
"Somehow I imagine this is how your head looks like." Jake sarcastically joke.
So you lot manage to get in here.
I would have imagine you would have some difficulty reaching this place.
But the fact you, Specter betrayed me is expected of someone like you.
"Betrayed?! Your the one that has betrayed me." Specter shouted.
Oh please, we both know you would have backstabbed us the moment you got what you wanted.
After all, isn't this what you wanted the most.
The humans to suffer, to destroy the world from how they oppressed you and monkeykind.
"Not the destruction of the world! I only did those bad things for my kind, even when becoming a bad guy I wanted to help my kind be free for once and enjoy themselves. I honestly thought I found kindred spirits in you guys. But you... all you wanted was just to destroy worlds out of instincts and fulfill some dark desires. I maybe the bad guys, but I didn't want to outright kill people for no reason. That is why we will stop this, not for just monkeykind, but for those who you would taken and left them lost in darkness." Specter declared, taking his stance he prepared himself for battle. The others did the same as they had to be ready for anything. When Crimson Ninja jump down in his robot form. Everyone scattered about as they couldn't get close to him.
You lot have been getting in the way of my plans.
And Specter, I would have welcome you as our own if you have given your heart away to darkness.
But because you chose this life over the next, time I showed you what your true potential would have look liked.
With one wave of his hand, some small dark specks floated towards where Crimson Ninja was, but not before taking shape of Specter in his suppose heartless form. Everyone is surprise by this as some wonder if this would be for them if they gave in to darkness. This is known as Shadow Specter, a non-heartless form that has some abilities and powers of it's own. It is mostly a blackish-blue shadow of Specter(like the KH game for Sora), with yellow eyes, but has some creepy dark aura around it.
Now you lot will have to face me.
I couldn't beat you and your other outsider friends as one of you is too powerful to fight. But now in this robot form, you will be killed in a instant.
Without warning, CN draw his dark powers and summoned shuriken's throwing them at the group. Specter quickly used his telepathic powers and stop them midway towards them. This both shock CN and everyone at how Specter is this powerful.
"Awesome." Luffy muttered, as Specter threw them back at CN making the heartless move away from his own attack.
"I got this, you guys deal with my shadow self. This is my mess, making this my fight." Specter told everyone. Luffy and Tifa could see the resolve in his eyes, while this would be for heavy hitters. The two respected his wishes and went up to confront the Shadow Specter knowing that thing will use what powers remain to blast the world into pieces. But those stood beside him are Chopper, Spike, and Jake who didn't leave his side.
"Your not fighting this alone, if we work together we can do anything." Spike said.
"You always had me on your side when mind controlled, I can only guess you always want someone by your side other then monkeys." Jake added as well.
"We came this far to stop you, but now let us help you stop him." Chopper also said to encourage Specter.
"...Alright, but don't say I didn't tell you." Specter and everyone remained focus on CN, but while they talk and sorted out their differences, CN didn't just stand around and did nothing as most stories would portray this moment. Instead CN actually gathered darkness energy into his two short swords and place them on his sides holding them as he launches some sort of energy blast towards them.
"MOVE" Specter shouted everyone got down in time. Only for CN to have jump high up with his two swords ready to cut them down. Specter teleported everyone away from where CN almost killed them.
"Okay less talking, more fighting." Spike said, then CN had place smoke pellets around the area blocking their few from the fight. Then Specter is struck once more, as he couldn't hold back CN sword from above trying to Stab Specter. But then Jake with incredible acrobats ran on the side of the sword and jump towards CN robot chest with some force great enough to push him off of Specter. With the smoke gone, Jake then charge at the robot once he landed and jump once more ready to deliver a blow. But CN manages to teleport using the darkness underneath, surprise by this Jake is left in mid-air only for CN appear above him ready to cut him into pieces. Seeing this Specter teleported Jake away from the attack. When Jake appeared beside Specter, the two couldn't help feel they work well together if they weren't always acting evil all the time. For the moment only Specter and Jake seemed to be the only ones able to fight toe to toe with this giant monstrosity.
"Man I feel very useless in this fight, I don't have gadgets that would be useful for this robot." Spike said to himself, then look at Chopper, "Couldn't you use that rumble ball for that fancy transformation?" Spiked asked Chopper.
"No." Chopper appear more hesitated at the mention of using the rumble ball more then once, "If I use it more then once I wouldn't be able to control it. I don't want anyone to get hurt if I change." Unsure what Chopper meant, Spike look at the fight now CN focus more on Specter and Jake as the two are able to fight him off in most superhuman way. This made him feel powerless and wanted to help.
With determination, Spike look at Chopper and said, "Look I don't what you mean by changes or these powers, but we need to help them somehow and the only one that has something is you. Now I can't say how we can defeat that, but we have to at least somehow knock it down." Spike said, trying to be inspiring yet that didn't felt right. His words however have impacted Chopper and it was at that moment he'll have to place lots of trust with the people here.
At the same time Luffy and Tifa had taken Specter's advise and jump up to face the Shadow Specter, who is controlling the entire robot powering up. Without any words, Tifa and Luffy charge at the suppose Shadow Specter with barriers raised up preventing them from escape. First thing that happen is SS had raised a shield to prevent both Luffy and Tifa punching it. Then created a shockwave that blasted them back towards the edge of the barrier. SS then shot some blast towards them, both of them are stuck hard by this Shadow Specter as smoke blinded SS from seeing them. Yet what appear out of the smoke is Tifa charging in fast to land a punch strong enough to send SS back towards the shield slammed against the barrier wall.
This then vanish as it soon revealed more then one Shadow Specter, circling around Tifa wanting to strike with no mercy. Yet this is taken away when Luffy used his Gomu Gomu no Whip from his leg. Tifa saw this coming and duck in time for Luffy to destroy all except one that is blasted back. Turning invisible once Luffy stop his attack.
"Huh, where it go?" Luffy questioned, the two prepared themselves for what may come next. Yet as Shadow Specter was about to strike Luffy, his instincts kick in and duck in time to avoid what could have devastating if he didn't watch where Shadow Specter would have strike. But at the same time, stood up to charge at the Shadow Specter, yet it was punch by Tifa blocking with it's raised shields, when it blast towards Luffy, it missed as Luffy jump over it and punch using his gum gum powers. Unable to block in time the Shadow Specter tried to move away by teleporting. Yet despite this effort, Luffy and Tifa charge at the SS and continue to fight it.
"I feel we aren't getting nowhere with this thing, we need a new strategy and fast." Tifa said, this would be a bad idea to asked Luffy as she will learn quickly his ideas can be crazy if not outright insane when he thinks it's a good idea. The two then scattered once more, Tifa charge at the Shadow Specter, yet only Luffy jump higher as he then launch his leg up extremely high.

Luffy then slammed his leg against the ground, harder and faster then he usually does with his attacks. This shock Tifa and Shadow Specter as they both couldn't comprehend what Luffy had just done. Just as he did this Luffy decided to use his new trick as he charge at Shadow Specter from above.

Now at multiple enemies this would have been a devastating blow for the average, yet for someone as strong as Shadow Specter, this is going to painful. As Luffy punch, kick and tailed at the Shadow Specter without slowing down. As for Tifa she used the debris to climb back up. She watch as Luffy finished his special move he pulled his arm back and launch a Gomu gomu no Pistol smashing the Shadow Specter all the down towards the bottom where the hole is located from where they arrived. Luffy then quickly used his tail to grab the edge, only for Tifa to grab his tail as Luffy is rocket up slingshot past Tifa and landed on his feet behind her. Now with the shadow Defeated and the platform destroying the controls. The Shadow Mech shuts down as it couldn't maintain power anymore.
"Well that work out nicely, did you planned that from the start?" Tifa asked.
"Hmm, well you said we need a plan so that's what I came up with." Luffy answered.
"Really, so you planned on destroying the platform we were standing?" Tifa asked in almost innocent way.
"Yep." Luffy grinned, only to receive Tifa smashing his head down on eth ground causing cracks.
"THE NEXT TIME YOU COME UP WITH SOME IDEAS, AT LEAST TELL ME ABOUT IT OR BETTER YET DON'T DO IT!" Tifa shouted with shark teeth.
"O-Okay." In that instant Luffy is reminded of Nami in a way Tifa as well as calm like Robin is frightening to say the least.
As for the others on ground, Specter and Jake fought with all their might, as the two are able to match CN despite their size difference. Jake and Specter felt some of their power has been drain. Quiet frankly they are even surprise they have lasted this long against Crimson Ninja. Through the fight Specter had used his shield for both Jake and himself while also making fake copies to confuse the Ninja. But that didn't last as the illusions have been dispute without effort, yet for Jake he manage to climb himself on top of the robot Jump high enough and land a direct punch on top of it's head. This only lasted for a little bit as Jake is then grab, but is then teleported away as Specter then did something crazy as to break apart the platform into small chucks of debris. While he flung some towards the giant robot, he reshape some of the pieces into two shuriken blades, and launch them at fast pace towards the robot. However this wasn't enough as CN had destroyed the debris without much effort as his two sword style did the trick. Right now Specter raised a dome shield to block CN next attacks in order to come up with plans or strategies to defeat this robot.
"Dang, as much as I like to test my new powers, we need to take him out and fast." Jake said.
"I don't think any of us have the ability to fight much longer. If anything we could use something big and strong to knock him out." Specter said.
"Can't you invade his mind and try to control him like you did with me?" Jake asked.
"As much as I like the suggestion, the minds of these monsters are way too much to handle. The darkness would overtake my mind before I could react or take control." As Specter and Jake are trying to come up with a plan. Spike had some concerns for Chopper, as he couldn't help feel that this was the worse idea at the moment. Chopper explained to him about what he taking two rumble balls will do to him. When explaining the third time, Spike became worried for his safety and others.
"You sure about this? I said we need to help, but nothing about making things worse then before." Spike admits.
"It's the only thing I could think about. Tifa and Luffy are doing their best to stop the Shadow Specter, while we have to support Specter to beat that robot. All of us have to give our all, so for a time being. I must do the same, just make sure your away, I don't want to hurt you." Chopper warned, taking his advise Spike steps back as Chopper took some breaths looking at the two rumble balls. Ready to embrace what came next, Chopper bite down two of his rumble balls, as this happen Specter had teleported Jake, this time giving him enough distance as Jake planned on using his new found powers to strike the Robot. This came in energy slashes from Jake as he sent them towards the robot.
Throughout the battle CN couldn't help but be impressed with them, not only that he knew the robot couldn't handle much more. Thanks to the Shadow Specter he created it was enough to maintain control of this shadow mech while allowing it to empower this machine. All in all this has taken some toll on his being, yet remained strong as the darkness that has been gathered has allowed him more power then he was capable of doing before.
As interesting as to see your new found powers, I must assist that you give up.
I am willing to forgive your transactions, if you allow yourselves to embrace the powers of darkness.
Become what all beings are destine to be instead of this... misguided forms.
"You honestly believe we just surrender like that?!" Jake shouted angry at both the power and himself for easily allowing it to change him. While his best friend Spike maybe able to endure what happen, some parts of Jake will remember he did this and couldn't help reminded of this fact.
You have no idea what powers the darkness has over beings like you.
While I am sure the outsiders understand this fact, you all will soon learn that darkness is greater then this realm of light.
Before CN continued, something roared extremely loud, taking the attention from them. All three of them are then shock as Chopper is standing taller then before, in his monster point. Everyone that hasn't seen this before are both scared and frighten by this being. The only exception is CN who is looking at this being with confusion and intrigue.
What are you?
Before his question is answered, Chopper charges in his monster point, stomping the grounds making even the robot jump from his shaking stomps. Seeing this thing as a threat, CN went to strike the beast, but in that moment Specter did something that wasn't possible before. Taking some of Jake's advise, he went to control the robot body hoping to force it to stand still. This gave Chopper enough time to strike at CN as it was enough to place a dent on it's chest.
What in the name of?!" Is all Jake could say shock by this monster's appearance.
"Is that... Chopper?!" Specter slowly realize it was base on the appearance of said monster, the hat is a dead giveaway and his appearance no doubt is similar to his base form.
"Guys!" Spike shouted rushing towards them, "You have to help Chopper, he's trying to fight that monster."
"Wait, that's Chopper!" Jake examined.
"Kind of obvious, but yeah that's Chopper. Still I can't believe he transform into that thing." Specter said.
"He said it was something with his rumble balls, if he ate three of them at the same time he transform into that thing." Spike said.
"That's Chopper!" Tifa heard Spike mention of the monster. Both her and Luffy returned as they saw the chaos being unfolded by this beast.
"I wasn't there before, but I heard that Chopper gave his all when he went into that form." Luffy said in seriously, since he wasn't there to see it, he heard from the others when asking how Chopper got into his hurt state. Now that he see it, Luffy and Tifa need to work fast before something bad happens to Chopper.
"So you guys manage to defeat the shadow me." Specter said between holding the Robot back and trying to speak.
"Well mister smarty pants here had destroyed the platform, but I figure that wasn't what was suppose to happen." Tifa pointed at Luffy using her thumb.
"HE DID WHAT!" Now normally Specter isn't one to freak out, but to hear someone be this reckless and stupid is absurd even for him.
"What it work, we beat that weird shadow and sent it packing." Luffy shrug it off.
"OFF COURSE IT'S A BAD THING, WITHOUT THE CONTROLS WE HAVE NO WAY OF STOPPING THIS THING OR SOMEHOW STOP IT FROM DESTROYING THE WORLD!" Specter yelled in anger.
"Oh, that's it." Luffy bluntly said with one hand in fist smacking his palm.
"That's not it!" Specter shouted not realizing he somehow is crushing the robot while Chopper is destroy it. This brought them back on track hearing Chopper roar much louder.
"I seriously don't know what we should do, I hope one of you guys might know." Spike look at Luffy and Tifa pleading for some guidance.
"Specter, you said you couldn't control the mind of heartless, so what about him instead?" Jake suggested further explaining, "If you could somehow reach towards the mind of Chopper, and somehow stop his actions we could try something from then." Jake explained his plan.
"You would need to place him in some sea water, but we would have to somehow get him at the world." Tifa added, since working with the Straw Hats, they wanted to at least know them even if it was small. To say they learn decent amount about the crew in short days is amazement itself as not many people can be friendly as these pirates.
"That all sounds find and dandy, BUT WHAT ABOUT THE ROBOT!" As much as Specter can pride himself in patients since he work with monkeys, these people are somehow more insane then he is and his monkeykind.
"Don't worry, I already have that covered." Tifa then look at Luffy with a smirk.
Back at the battle, CN couldn't help feel powerless as Specter is somehow showing more power then he would normally display. At the same time his robot form is being destroyed bit by bit as the monster in front of him is somehow destroying him easily.
If this keeps up, they will destroy me in no time flat. Still at least the power charge is almost finish by at least 95 percent. Soon it will fire and destroy the world below.
But just as it thought this Luffy and Tifa had their plan set in motion. First Tifa would be far distance away from Luffy aiming at the robot, then Luffy would grab hold of Tifa stretching his arm back, with one mighty pull launch her towards the robot as Tifa would use the speed to her advantage.

Unknowingly Tifa created a combo move that the Straw Hats would utilize in situational battles. When she launch from Luffy pulling her forward, she landed at the Robot's back so hard it blasted it away towards the wall. They made sure to not aim at Chopper as he has no control of his actions and made sure not to aim towards the glass. When CN smash against the wall the robot torn itself apart, weakening Crimson Ninja in it's robot, then exploded as the robot and Crimson Ninja is no more. With it's defeat, all they now have to focus on is Chopper and this shadow mech.
"Well now that is taken care of, what should we do with this robot." Spike asked, Specter did what he could to hold Chopper back, as he made it tried weaken it enough as Specter thought about the next plan of action, so far their plans have been reckless, risky and most of all stupid in his mind. Yet they seem to work out fine for them, so taking a page from them, he replied, "I have an idea."
And done, with a cliffhanger of all things. Well until next time.
