The Gymnasium - A few minutes later.
At last, their grand tour brought them to the gym. As the doors opened up, at first Kyuu couldn't say she was impressed. The large auditorium looked very rugged compared to the rest of the building. The basketball goals were out of repair, some of the lights were missing, the wood panel floors creaked with every footstep they took, it had an old moldy smell to it, and the bleachers were old and looked condemned. It was clear this area saw the least amount of renovation over the years. But the foxes kept walking, saying nothing as they led her towards another set of doors at the end of the room. These opened up and what was inside was much more impactful.
The lagomorph's heart fluttered as her eyes took in essentially a fitness paradise. The gym rat in her felt very much at home. Store-bought punching bags, blue floor mats, actual weights and lifting benches, dumbbells, exercise bikes, a few actual treadmills. There was even stuff for small animals like Lùn and her. Then of course the aforementioned training dummy Lùn had mentioned earlier. She had said they had fished it out of the trash, but in reality, it looked way better than the one San and she had made from mere dumpster diving.
The room itself still looked old, much like the rest of their hideout, but a lot of care had gone into fixing it up. The main room held a lot of equipment and even had an octagonal cage set up similar to but much smaller than the one at the arena as well as, to her surprise, a fighting ring in the middle of the floor. These foxes really were some fancy beasts, Kyuu thought. As if that fancy casino floor wasn't proof enough.
She gauged it was a boxing ring, judging from the turnbuckle and rope set up, but all the same, it looked inviting to the lop. It'd been a long time since she'd stepped in a proper ring. The last one she could remember was a fight club, a year ago at the most, on the edge of the market district in the Madaragumi's turf back when she was freelancing the clubs. That one was a poor beast's excuse for one she remembered, basically just a square platform with literal ropes for the ring. This one however looked much more professional. Like something you'd see in a gym or in the movies. Dark red colored ropes and black turnbuckles, dark canvas. She'd ask how the hell they could afford all this, but it was a very obvious answer. A boxing ring , she thought. Normally she much preferred something more simple akin to a cage, though she wouldn't have minded stepping in the ring to spar if they were allowed. Hell, she'd never really officially boxed with anyone before. That'd be an exhilarating experience, she could already fantasize it. Her and the pygmy just duking it out in the squared circle. Her clenched fists fidgeted, she just wanted to throw them forward, hit something, she wanted to move, swing her leg up.
This place. It was all stuff that Kyuu could only dream about having access to. A real ugly feeling of envy began to creep up behind her like a stalker, but she was careful not to let it give her council. Kyuu didn't need to be seen gushing about this stuff openly. Her earth-toned sienna eyes drifted to her right to the pygmy as she jabbered on about something. The complacent smile on the vixen's face, proud of how better she had it, bothered her. No, Lùn had proven to be real opportunistic with her snipes and she felt the fox lorded enough over her. No, she already had a big head , the rabbit thought.
" -And this is where we all train and stay in shape. So what do you think? " She heard as she finally listened to what the pygmy had been talking about. "Amazing ain't it?"
"It's… adequate ," She said in a nonchalant, nearly unimpressed tone as her eyes finished exploring the room. As if on cue, the lop's assessment was met with a very irritated response.
"Adequate?!"The pint-sized red fox fur turned the shade of chili peppers as she quickly turned on the rabbit. "Where the hell do you get off with just adequate ?"
"That's the fancy word for good enough right?" The rabbit remarked, rather aloof. "I mean I can see how you got better in such a short time using this place. But it's adequate. Yeah. That's the word." She said with certainty.
"Where the fuck have you seen better?" Lùn growled as she got nose to nose with her, an inferno burned in the retinas of her emerald eyes as she snapped her sharp fang-filled jaws in front of the rabbit. "Compared to your stuffy little hole in the wall, this place should be a world-class gym to you, Carrot muncher! "
Kyuu raised an eyebrow as she stared down the fuse-lit powderkeg. "But it's not a world-class gym is it ya barking Chihuahua?" A hint of amusement inflected her voice, as she inched even closer to the canid, the canid's wet nose rubbing into her own fuzzy snout. "It's just some old school's gym that you foxes decided to take roost in that you fill with some decent equipment and stuff. This whole place is like that. Just something old and forgotten you're passing off as brand new. Of course, it's a step up from my cell, but did you honestly think that I am that poor that you could present me with something so sub-par and I would just believe it to be perfect?"
"Oh, now it's sub-par?!" Lùn growled, her shoulders hunching up as she pressed into the rabbit who pushed back just as hard. "Why is your opinion degrading?!"
"Cuz I just felt like you could use some seasoning as well. That face you got now is how you say... delicious ." The rabbit said, her brown muzzle slowly twisted up into a crooked grin.
Lùn's fire was extinguished as it dawned on her. She was being played, this rabbit was screwing with her. She threw back her head in laughter as she cackled and laid her hand on the rabbit's shoulder. "Hehehehe! You bitch!" She said, slamming her skull into the rabbit's, knocking her back slightly. A grin spread across her maw. "You catch on quick, rabbit."
"Course I do," Kyuu said as she pushed her back and coolly flicked one of her floppy ears off her shoulder. "Wouldn't still be alive if I didn't."
"You're a bitch, but you're my kinda bitch." The fox said.
Suddenly two massive claws dropped down on both of their shoulders, they looked up and it was Loba now suddenly wearing a sleeveless dark instructor's gi. "Oi, you two. Enough chat." She looked at the rabbit. "Snack, I want to see a demonstration of your spirit. The both of you get out of those dirty clothes then report back here for a short exhibition."
"Yes, Sensei." Lùn yapped dutifully before heading off towards the locker rooms while Kyuu stood there with a confused look on her face.
"Exhi-Exhi-Exhibitchin?" She struggled with the word but knew what the real word meant. What really bugged her was the carnivore's request that she change clothes. She didn't have anything else. With her at least. She only had the red tracksuit and dirty and bloody white undershirt she'd worn since this morning. She didn't even bring her rope.
"But I only have what I'm wearing!" Kyuu insisted.
"You heard me Snack ." The wox said with a face devoid of any sympathy for the lagomorph. "Lùn should have something for you to wear in your size in there, now go clean up, get dressed, get back out here ready to spar. And make it snappy."
Less than twenty minutes later, both girls were walking out of the locker room clad only in sports bras, crop and tight-fitting shorts, fingerless padded gloves, and foot protectors. Both of their fists were wrapped as well. Lùn wore a green top and gloves and black bottoms while Kyuu had herself clad in a white tank and red number with matching gloves she had dug out of the wardrobe that was similar to her usual fashion. The pygmy's hand-me-down clothes fit her well enough, she found the tail hole a bit too loose for her cotton-like tail, but the sports bra was the real pain. It was really tight on her girls because of the two she had a larger bust. The rabbit found herself constantly adjusting it because the underlying band chafed like no one's business.
Just then she heard the fox whistling at her. "My my! They must have wanted a lot of extra meat on you at that tower." She teased. "Guess we all know where most of it went, huh bunny babe?"
"Keep talking bitch…" Kyuu growled lowly, pounding her fist at her. "Keep talking."
"I ain't complaining! Least I got a nice view to look at! Hehehe." Lùn remarked with a raucous cackle, licking her lips as she eyed the lagomorph lustfully. Kyuu returned her gaze with a death stare, as she adjusted her breasts in the damn bra one more time.
"I'll see about getting you some better gear by next week." Loba suddenly appeared behind the rabbit, almost startling the herbivore. "Just don't go and piss me off by dying in the near future before I waste the cash." She said, folding her arms.
"Yeah, staying alive. I'll be sure to put that in my list of priorities." the rabbit said, rolling her eyes like a wiseass. "Pretty bold of you to assume I'm coming back here anyway."
"Oh. You are, actually." The wox said matter-of-factly. "Your friend has another date with our Onésan tomorrow, which means your fluffy little tail will be right here as per the agreement. 'Yer mine now." She said, with a big toothy smirk.
"Agreement?!" The rabbit uttered with a low growl, thinking about San and his girlfriend. "Of fucking course, there had to be a catch." The lop-eared rabbit grumbled. "Course that succubus leader of yours needed some kinda excuse to fuck his brains out before she'd ever dream of doing me a favor."
"Watch your fucking mouth when referring to our Onésan in our company again, Snack," Loba warned with a growl.
Kyuu rolled her eyes but didn't press the matter further. She just wanted to get this over with. Loba strolled in between them and carried herself with the airs of an instructor. Kyuu didn't buy it at all. Gouhin would have folded this wannabe, easily, she thought.
"Now, you two are going in the cage for this trial run. Hand to hand, no weapons." The wox specified. "So hand 'em over." She requested, holding her large clawed hand out.
Lùn of course did as she was told, but Kyuu was understandably reluctant. Her knives were one of the only things that put her on a somewhat even playing field here. She hadn't even bothered bringing her rope. "That's your idea of the basics?" She asked their new supposed sensei, skeptical. "No exercise, no warm-up?"
"I said I wanted a quick evaluation of your fighting skills." The wox explained. "I already know that the both of you are accomplished fighters in your own rights given your respective histories. Hell, I'm the one that cleaned her wounds today so I know how dangerous you are, rabbit."
"Then what's your deal, Wolf Face ?" The rabbit asked.
"Because I want to actually see it. I'd like to see what your style is like, critique, and then perhaps I can work our training and exercise around that. So the both of you, in the cage, hand to hand, let's go. Lùn will refrain from using her claws and fangs. After that, then maybe we'll have a more detailed workout and regime planned for tomorrow."
"Well not sorry to burst your bubble, Wolf Face, but my knives stay right where they are!" The rabbit exclaimed at her, defiantly.
The wox's fangs poked out of her muzzle as she frowned at her. "Difficult, huh?"
"You've been eying me like I'm dinner since we met." The rabbit replied, jabbing her finger at the vixen. "So I don't fucking trust you!"
The wox just burst into a wild laugh. "Trust? Hehehe! Well, we've trusted you!" A playful tone inflected the normally brooding wox's voice. " Don't you think that warrants some trust coming our way?" She asked, rather mockingly.
"Pfft, give me a break." The lop said, rolling her eyes.
"Poor choice of words, Miss Defiance. " The relatively massive wox darkly joked, looking down at the short herbivore, flashing her fangs. "You may talk big, but I am big. Snapping your neck will be easy if you don't comply."
"You think it'll be easy." The rabbit confidently muttered under her breath. "Look, I sort of trust her." Kyuu scowled as she thumbed behind herself at the pygmy. "But I sure as hell don't trust you." She hissed, continuing to jab her finger up at Loba.
The cream and pepper-patterned wox didn't fret and continued to grin at the herbivore. "Okay then, I want you to think about it like this." The wox said, lightly tapping the side of her head for effect. "You only have those knives now, because we allowed you to keep them. A sign of good faith. Normally you'd have been stripped of those long before you entered our building. But we didn't bother. Why? We trusted you on Lùn's behalf. I'm only giving you a choice now, because of her. Now, how about you do the same and hand over your knives? " The wox requested again, folding her arms as she practically bore a hole in the dark-faced rabbit's forehead with a focused stare.
"Screw you..." The lop quickly responded, unmoved. "You still ain't getting them."
"Fine, we can do it the hard way. I'll just rip your ears off, brat! " Loba growled menacingly, her pupils shrinking to the size of pin needles heads. "If you don't comply in the next 30 seconds, I'll just have to come up with a very tragic cover story for when your friend gets back!"
"Fuck you!" The rabbit furiously spat, again unmoved and refusing to cower. "C'mon and get them the hard way then. I'll be more than happy to die with my fist rammed down your throat!" The rabbit threatened, gritting her flat teeth together as she produced her blades and flipped them over her hands in an expert display. "This livestock meal will be the toughest meat you ever ate!"
"Well, you certainly have an indomitable spirit. I can respect that. You seem so confident, but are you taking into account that it will be both me and Lùn coming at you all at once? Huh?" The wox reasoned coldly as she brought the rabbit's attention to the pygmy standing behind her at 8 o'clock, popping her own sharp claws to back up her bigger sister.
"Fucking try it." The rabbit snarled, beckoning them both as she swiveled to put her gaze on both canids, fully ready to cut the first one who came the closest.
"Kyuu." The pygmy fox growled her name. "I brought you here so we could have fun ! If I wanted to do you, I'd have done it while you were passed out on the floor at that tower!"
"Listen to her." The husky-voiced vixen cackled lightly as her longer-than-average claws opened up to reveal sharp crescent-shaped nails that would render her flesh like butcher's knives. "I'll commend you again for having a spine in that soft rabbit body of yours, Snack… but I'm giving you one last chance. Hand them over… now."
"Don't make me kill you. This ain't how I want you to go out, damn it!" Lùn implored. "Stop being so fucking stubborn and stop holding us up!"
The brown-snouted rabbit looked hard into the pygmy vixen's green eyes and only saw anger and frustration. As well as hesitancy, an unwillingness to act. This would be cheap for her. Kyuu finally relented. "Fine," She huffed, surrendering her lethal earwear. "Better get these back..." She muttered at the hulking hybrid, who cheerfully placed their effects on a nearby table.
"There. See? Not so bad," Loba said, as she turned around and flipped a switch on the nearby wall. The main lights above quickly shut off, but another loud click and then the spotlights above the cage and around the room shot on. The wox clasped her hands together and pointed towards the metal octagon. "In you two go."
"Finally," Kyuu said, entering the octagon.
"Was gonna say that myself…" Lùn said as she walked beside her and separated just a meter or two from her. "You paranoid bitch. Are you ready for the real Round 4?" She asked.
Kyuu just rolled her shoulders and limbered up, her shadowboxing and warm-up kicks served as her answer. She was ready alright. Ready to finally pay the pygmy back in full for all the prodding she had been sending her way since the tower.
She and the canid were truly kindred spirits, she could see it on her grinning fanged maw as she put up her dukes and started throwing warm-up combos herself. They were going to have a real knockdown of a fight for sure.
It almost felt official. The enclosure really did remind her a lot of the cage down at the Show Arena. Only more sanitary looking; no old stains of blood and other various fluids. Fewer leftover claw marks. And of course, there wasn't some deafening crowd screaming and cheering them on, beckoning for more bloodshed. She particularly liked the fact there wasn't some loud mouth raccoon screaming over the mic giving her a headache. This was definitely going to be more intimate, she was thinking as she eyed the pygmy beginning to stretch.
"Not so fast!" The wox announced as she stepped in with them, much to the rabbit's surprise. "I have a few ground rules. So listen up." Both girls gave her anxious looks as they stood there, raring to go.
"1. Obey my commands at all times," Loba said with authority.
"What are you? A referee?" Kyuu asked.
"Precisely." The wox answered. "I'm the Law in here. I know you two are probably used to fighting with rules to the wind until your opponent is finished and the announcer calls you the winner, but as Lùn knows, in my dojo we will have order. It's very important that you don't seriously harm one another during practice. Both of you are the boss's assets down at the arena. So you stop when I say you stop. You take a break when I say you take a break. Got it?"
"I know how to stop…" The annoyed lop-eared rabbit grumbled under her breath. This carnie was acting like a pale imitation of Gouhin-sama, she thought.
"Got it, sensei." Lùn chirped compliantly, getting a 'confused as hell' expression out of the rabbit who was not used to seeing the mini vixen behave so obediently.
"Yeah… sure," Kyuu replied, hesitantly and unenthused. She still didn't trust this hybrid any further than she could throw, and she didn't expect her to play fair with her over her precious student.
"Good." The wox said, clasping her hands together. "Now, the next one is one I really want you to take to heart: playing dirty is grounds for retaliation." The wox said with a certain smile, much to Kyuu's surprise. "Make no mistake. I want you both to fight dirty. Hell, I encourage you to fight dirty to your heart's content. As small fries, fights will never be easy the bigger your opponent is so you will need every edge that you can get." The wox had a sadistic zeal about her as she instructed them. "But I want to make it clear, if you fight dirty, there are consequences. Expect your opponent to respond in kind. It's only fitting after all. That saying, an eye for an eye. That's how it usually works. So! You get slapped hard in the tit, I expect you to hit the other girl back even harder! Go for the throat, kick them in the balls or ovaries, whatever the hell they have! Do what you have to! Just don't get too carried away in there . I don't need you both getting too overzealous. You're already banged up as is."
Lùn's mischievous smile grew as she flashed Kyuu her fangs. " You got it, sensei."
The dark-faced rabbit just flashed her back a slight smile of her own. "I'll be just as gentle as her."
"And that's about it." Loba finished. "Lùn, remember what I taught you. Snack , I expect you to impress me." The wox skirted them on the edge of the arena and raised her hand shaped like a knife's edge to get them ready. Her eyes were like a hawk's eye as she gazed at both girls. She could hear them both breathing, panting, both of them chomping at the bit to get started. The two were back in their element and the anticipation was mutual. "Hajime!" Begin! The wox barked, filling the room as she chopped her hand down to signal them to start.
As her voice echoed, it strangely wasn't followed by grunts and the slaps on flesh meeting. No, instead, there was silence. The over-eager pair, with all their earlier bluster and hot-blooded hostility, were going in slow. Analyzing each other. Probing and poking at each other's defenses and openings, keeping their forms shifting fluidly as they circled.
This took the rabbit back to their first meeting, the anticipation for the right move. Back when they had no clue who each other were. Each time since then, their starts had always been fast and aggressive beginnings; Lùn decking her in the store or how she herself ambushed the fox from above. Here they had time to think.
Lùn was much wiser, cool-headed, Kyuu observed. It was strange. Lùn's green predatory eyes studied her quietly and serene like an experienced huntress stalking her prey. She must have gotten all that shit-talking out of her earlier, the lop thought to herself as she kept their slow merry-go-round going. Good, fewer things to be bothered by , the lop reasoned. Focus on where she is coming from. She was already thinking of ways the vixen would come. Maybe for her legs or maybe she'll rush her and start hammering away. She kept her feet light as she bounced just in case she would swing a kick.
After a few false starts, the fox suddenly began to snicker uncontrollably, gaining Kyuu's attention. "Okay, this is just distracting. That top... it ain't not doing you any favors." The vixen joked, pointing with her off-hand.
"W-what?" The rabbit found herself asking.
"Just bouncing all over the place! Hehehe!" The fox continued to joke.
Self-conscious just for a second, Kyuu glanced down at her bouncing chest. A mistake. The rabbit's large eyes widened in shock as they came back up and the canid was already toe-to-toe with her in the span of seconds, fang-filled smile on full display as she unloaded, hurling fast hands the bunny had mere seconds to react to. Kyuu's muscles and ligaments worked overtime as her still weary body moved as fast as it could, shifting flexibly from side to side as she skipped backwards, trying her best to dodge some of the incoming canid's offense. Prey senses had her jerking and slipping under most of the frantic assault, but reaction time only got her so far. The fox's speedy barrage eventually proved too fast and eventually, a green and orange blur landed right on target, the first of many.
"Ughh!" the rabbit grunted as the pygmy had scored a lucky hit that allowed her to nail the lop with a gutshot that sent her reeling back. The rabbit grunted hard again as the fox's fist ripped away and she backpedaled. She forced her vision back up to keep her eyes on her opponent, just in time to see the fox aggressively pushing in.
The pygmy was practically nose to nose with her once more, her determined emerald eyes followed and tracked Kyuu as she shot a hard right barreling right for the brown-snouted lop's eye. Kyuu only had time to see the punch coming, no time at all to properly defend against it. She jerked her body, demanding it to move if only to minimize the damage. It ended up grazing just under the eye, but all the same, the fox sneered cruelly in the rabbit's face as she pressed her advantage.
Kyuu continued to retreat backwards, the cage rushing up to meet her back. The fox was leading her. She stopped just seconds away from the wire mesh recognizing the space she had to breathe, space to maneuver. The fox got eager, swinging with a swift uppercut. Kyuu was ready, the lop sidestepped and tagged the fox right in the back of the head as she pivoted and hopped behind her to the left. The fox swung a desperate haymaker to catch her as she turned. It hit nothing, and like that Kyuu was out of range, having survived the onslaught. The rabbit bounced in a semicircle, planning her next move while the fox put up her guard.
Well... that opening sucked, Kyuu thought wincing. As pissed as she was at herself she couldn't say she wasn't excited. Finally, she and the vixen were mixing up again and she could already feel the pleasurable high of the burning hot adrenaline coursing through her veins.
The fox said nothing else as she rushed in again, fist raised to bring down an overhead right hook, however it was canceled halfway into a feint. Kyuu's eyes tracked and caused her to shift postures as the vixen reversed with a low kick trying to sweep the rabbit off her legs. Hardly any time, Kyuu reacted with experience with the monkey and jumped over the kick cleanly. It was too telegraphed.
Hitting nothing, Lùn's head was exposed as the lagomorph hung in the air, just enough time to swing her wrapped shin and slam it right into the fox's face with the grace of a car collision. The fox tumbled and flipped backwards over herself before managing to land on all fours with cat-like agility. She rose back up just in time to defend herself as Kyuu became the aggressor, running in and swinging her leg up with a clean roundhouse kick that Lùn somehow managed to hastily block and counter.
The fox snarled as she nailed the vicious rabbit dead on with a hard jab to the left breast, nearly launching the cream-colored orb out from its ill-fitting home. Kyuu grunted sharply, almost faltering, but grit her teeth as she didn't even think of bothering with petty modesty. She just wanted to hit her back. She came back on the fox with another swift kick, much lower this time, right in the ribs and near the fox's wounded midsection. It landed earning her a satisfying pained yelp from the fox, all Kyuu needed to hear as she began dishing out more of the harder kicks she could muster in earnest to the vixen's side.
Loba, standing a healthy distance off to the side of them, frowned at the pygmy while the rabbit continued to tear away at her failing defense with a barrage of kicks and odd punches. "Do something Loony! What are you going to do, Lùn?! What did I teach you?" She lectured.
The fox's long ears flickered like radar as the rabbit came in for more, aiming for her snout. The mini-vixen angled her head and tanked the hard punch on her cheek like it was nothing. Just like their pharmacy store brawl, Kyuu lamented. The fox's retaliation was swift and had the rabbit hopping back defensively as the pygmy's fist came swinging for her ribs with the force of a hammer.
The lop, frustrated by the carnivore's durability, went low herself but her shin bounced harmlessly off of the fox's elbow as the vulpes blocked and lunged forward. The rabbit's eyes went wide as the fox suddenly became an orange and green blur and tackled her hard. Kyuu tried to kick her away, but Lùn's hands shot through the lop's legs and grabbed hold. In seconds the bunny found herself hunched over Lùn's back and getting lifted off the floor. Soon the bright lights and the gray cage mesh blended at a breakneck pace as she quickly found herself at the mercy of the fox and gravity, slamming down hard to the mat with a loud thud.
The pygmy stood tall in front of her and the rabbit was at her mercy. Lùn leaned over and began pounding the living daylights out of the herbivore, but the rabbit instinctively put her legs up to fend her off. Kyuu had an ugly snarl on her face as she kicked her legs at the fox like crazy in a panic trying to both keep the fox off and land a decent strike but to no avail. Lùn had a smug grin on her face as she caught hold of one of the wild legs and struck Kyuu with a hard kick of her own to the bunny's thigh. The pained wincing Kyuu made was amusing as hell to the fox who couldn't help but snicker as she briefly gained control of the lop's other leg which allowed her to hammer more and more at the lop's face.
"Good job, Loony." The wox's voice spoke to their right, "Snack, is that all you got?"
Kyuu could hear the big one barking at them, barking at her. As she weathered the barrage of fists bouncing off her face, her blood started to heat up with rage. You're judging me, are ya? she thought, as she jerked her head to the side just in time to avoid an oncoming punch. Let's see how you both like this! She fumed, just as she managed to wrench her legs free of Lùn's grip and latch them snuggly around her neck. Remembering the maneuver she had done to the monkey in the park and how effective it had been, she used this leglock to pull her opponent down just enough to start laying in some punches of her own. Lùn instinctively pulled back trying to escape the rabbit's wrath, but inadvertently gave Kyuu a lift off the floor as the lop grabbed hold of her retreating hands, grasping at the wraps on her wrists.
Kyuu then sat up and draped her left arm around the back of the fox's head for stability and began pounding the fox's skull with her other fist, holding on by one of the fox's large ears and burying the vixen's snout into her crotch. Lùn however was having none of it as she began prying the rabbit off, yanking at one of her own loose floppy ears. Eventually, Kyuu lost her grip and fell back down towards the mat. She wasn't finished just yet however, clawing for anything to catch onto, she grabbed hold of the fox's wrist and held on for dear life.
"You fucking…" Lùn found herself cursing Kyuu as she struggled to balance. It was too much to bear, they crashed down to the hard mat. Lùn landed first, the weight of the lapine fighter smashed her down flat on her back. Now she ironically was in the same defensive position she had had the rabbit in just seconds ago and the rabbit was well aware, seizing the advantage, pummeling the vixen's face mercilessly.
"Ya-me!" Stop! The wolf mixture's loud authoritative barking voice filled the empty room with an echo, causing both fighters to pause.
Breathing hard, Kyuu suspended her clenched fist as she looked down at the fox she straddled. She fought the urge to follow through, but memories of their store brawl and her recent scars persuaded her not to sucker the fox this time. Lùn panted profusely as well, wincing as she opened the tender eye Kyuu had been targeting. "Ugh, what is with you and the eye? Damn it."
"It works, don't it?" The rabbit replied.
"Damn it." The pygmy swore again, looking up into the lop's dark face as the herbivore's sweat began to drip down like rain. "And just when did you learn how to grapple?" She inquired, surprised.
"Just something I'm trying out," Kyuu answered earnestly, winded as well as she rolled off of the vixen. "You're the first one I've been able to really try it on, at least." She said, trying to rise up. "My cellmate, San, is much too large for it to effectively work during our spars."
"Well, I'm on notice for any more of your surprises, bunny." The fox said with a slight smile before she sat up. "That monkey wasn't kidding when he said you were a force to be reckoned with when pushed."
"Wait..." The rabbit suddenly had a puzzled look on her dark face. "Monkey?" She asked, heart beating just a tick faster at his mention.
"Yeah, I met this -" Lùn started to say, catching her breath, but the wox interrupted their little conversation.
"Good work, both of you." The bigger canine interrupted with a stern voice. Loba was smiling, impressed at the lop's quick thinking. "You're an aggressive rabbit, an aggressive kicker, which is good, but that aggressiveness might pose an issue while sparring, so I think we should slow it down to just some burst sessions. We don't need you both brawling too hard as you both have matches soon." She looked at the pygmy still sitting on her butt. Kyuu noticed that Loba looked at Lùn much harsher "Lùn you need to watch your opponent's limbs! Doesn't matter if they are down or not! They are still a threat if you are within their range. Next time stop playing." She barked, poking her finger in the little fox's face.
Kyuu suddenly felt struck by a funny case of déjà vu. A smile started creeping across her face as the wox verbally tore into the smaller fox for her mistake.
"You relaxed long enough," Loba said, telling the pygmy to get back up. "Get up and prepare to go again." Lùn almost instantly shot up to her feet and dusted herself off. She stretched and cracked her neck before getting back in the ready position.
"Now about this monkey…" Kyuu started as the fox walked past her.
"Uh uh. I'll tell you later," Lùn whispered, much to the rabbit's disappointment as she took up her ready stance, waiting to start again. "How about after I pay you back?" She proclaimed threateningly, all business.
"More like after I knock you on your ass again, Chihuahua ." The rabbit responded to the fox's cockiness with her own brand as she began to shuffle back and forth with her dukes up again.
"Yeah, whatever you say Tits ." The fox rebounded, pointing before raising up her dukes. The two were both ready to lock horns once more.
" Hajime! " The wox barked again.
The two combatants cut the formalities this round, Kyuu rushing in hopping in to blitz the fox and finish her work on her eye. Lùn instinctively swung a low kick for the lop's ankle, but the rabbit lunged forward and started serving up some hard jabs right to the canid's face. Lùn's head snapped back hard as she took one of the rabbit's heavier blows right in the snout.
Pissed, the fox swung a retaliation kick to the rabbit's thigh that sent the herbivore hobbling back a half step and giving the fox room to start swinging with her own heavy fists. The two began to rain blows at each other like a meteor shower until they got so aggressive that they locked up in each other's arms.
Kyuu kept her head a healthy distance away from the panting fox's snapping jaws, trying not to accidentally get her ears caught in her mouth so she wouldn't have to worry about the vixen accidentally taking a bite. The hindsight that she should invest in a hair clip for her floppy appendages was not lost on her as she and vixen continued to wrestle for dominance.
It wasn't an ideal situation at all. It was clear in a test of strength and Lùn held the natural advantage as the carnivore. Not even ten seconds had passed before the rabbit felt her knees starting to buckle. Kyuu could see the cage wall behind Lùn becoming more and more distant which meant she was getting closer and closer to being pinned on her back. If that happened she'd be trapped and the fox could wail on her at her leisure.
"So when is Monster Girl coming out, huh?!" She heard the fox suddenly ask between the grunting, referring to Kyuu's absent Chimera. "Don't you usually pop that freaky beast thing right about now?"
Surprised, Kyuu just glared back at her. This had to be an attempt to distract her, she thought. Not that she could effectively use the technique anyway, she didn't have her knives or rope. Nor did she want to. "I... don't... need it," She growled, straining as she continued to try and slow them both down, the soles of her feet began heating up very quickly from the friction of the mat.
"Is she scared?" The fox asked her, snickering sadistically as she put more effort into overpowering her. "Did I scare her?"
"Shut it! I don't need it to beat you!" Kyuu grunted, risking more ground just to kick at the fox's legs in a bid to weaken her stability. The fox winced with each blow but still had a determined look as she continued to shove the bunny even closer to the mesh wall.
"Bullshit!" The fox snapped at her, leaning in closer, her pointed snout burying itself in the rabbit's shoulder. "Come on. Give me a scare!"
"Shut up!" The rabbit growled back looking over her shoulder, she could practically see the cross loop pattern of the mesh wall mere inches away.
The fox nudged her even closer and snarled in her face. "Do it!"
"SHUT UP!"
"Ya'me!"
The two had heard Loba's call for them to unclinch, but it took the wox physically prying the two apart to get them to fully separate. Even then, they were a task to keep from going back at it. "I said break it up!" She barked before slapping the hot-blooded duo upside the head.
"I just about had her, Loba!" The pygmy snapped at the larger vixen, panting hard.
"Sure, but you spent too much time trying to pin her down. You were letting her target your ankle. A sprain from practice is not worth you trying to corner her."
Kyuu scoffed at the fox's words. Yeah right, like this was practice. She and I are going at this trying to put the other down. And Lùn was trying her damndest to get in her head!
The pygmy just grumbled at the instructor as she got set again. "Just making excuses…"
"How's this for an excuse?" The wox interjected. "You were giving her time to fight back and rest with that clinch. Time to turn the tables . If this were life or death, you could end up with someone's claws in your gut. Stop showing off." The wox continued to lecture. "You're a fox, think like one. You're not some hulking bear or hippo trying to wrestle."
"But she's my size!" The pygmy pointed out. "We can afford to fight like that."
"Yeah, but what do you accomplish by proving what we already know? You're a carnivore and she's a herbivore. You're obviously stronger." Kyuu scowled at both of them for the slight. "Stop. Trying. To. Show off." The wox tried to drive home into the pygmy's skull. "Now, the both of you get back into position."
The fighters did as they were told and began circling for another go.
"Alright, bunny girl! Let's see the monster, huh?" Lùn asked, continuing to prod.
The rabbit growled with a cold stare, not paying her any mind as she threw some opening punches aimed to bop her right in her smartass mouth. The fox danced around them and they began to get a typical rapport going of kicks and punches as they fenced with one another for a while. Lùn still poked at her, however, trying to bait her into responding with the Chimera.
"C'mon! How else are you going to beat that monkey clown?! " The fox snarled as she brazenly lunged forward with a kick to the rabbit's side.
Suddenly enraged, the rabbit, however, sidestepped just narrowly avoiding the vixen's clawed foot then in one quick motion grabbed hold and left her hopping on one foot, taking her by surprise. The fox was open and Kyuu began punishing her insolence with some more jabs to the snout before finally sweeping Lùn's leg out from under her and sending crashing down on her back.
The wox barked for them to stop once more, awarding Kyuu the win. "Something like that, asshole! " Kyuu answered coldly as she stomped her foot down on the fallen pygmy's face just before Loba pushed her back.
Lùn, frustrated, slammed her fist on the floor before jumping up to her feet. "Alright, you clever bitch." She snarled, seeking swift retribution.
"Very good, Snack. Lùn, be more careful next time." Loba commended the rabbit, who barely registered the comment or the nickname. The rabbit's eyes were still hyper-focused on Lùn with whom she shared a similar peeved look. The two paced back and forth from each other like carnivores itching to tear into each other.
" Hajime! "
"When are you going to use it then?" The fox shouted at her as she skipped closer towards the rabbit who aggressively defended her space with some fast combos of punches and kicks.
"Enough!" The rabbit roared as one of her punches flew past the fox's grinning face.
Lùn bounced and hopped around the rabbit with a sadistic playfulness that really began to eat away at the rabbit's nerves. "When are you going to bring out the wolf girl or whatever the hell that thing is?" She teased, rushing back in and swinging hard haymakers trying to pressure the herbivore. "Huh? Huh? HUH?!" She shouted, her jaws snapping in the rabbit's face. Suddenly her eyes shot up into her skull, and her jaws slammed shut. The vixen had gotten too close. Ever the opportunist, the rabbit waited for the right second and shot her knee right up in the fox's pelvis. The pygmy made such an anguished yelp as the rabbit grabbed hold of her shoulders and pulled her in close.
"Fuck you!" Kyuu screamed defiantly in her ears, as she brought it back up again like a piston for another, striking the vixen right in the gut. The vixen's pained reaction was a thing of beauty for the lagomorph as phlegm from the canid flew over her shoulder. Lùn's arms went limp to her sides as she leaned over on the rabbit. Kyuu took advantage and hooked her arm under the fox's armpit and hurled her into the cage.
The fox hit the mesh with a loud rattle and Lùn, dazed, looked like she had completely checked out. She somehow managed to push herself off the barrier and turned just in time to see the rabbit barreling towards her at great speeds.
"I don't need that imaginary crutch to beat you or him!" Kyuu shouted at her before viciously spinning with a jumping roundhouse kick that sent the fox smashing snout-first back into the mesh.
Lùn weakly moaned, slobber dripping her maw as she almost stumbled, turning around just in time to face the rabbit's next attack, a heavy haymaker. The fox was hurting, but not completely helpless, she swatted away the rabbit's next kick and started to throw unfocused haymakers of her own to retaliate and regain her wobbly footing.
"I'm strong on my own!" The rabbit furiously shouted, ducking and dodging the fox's wild punches. "I don't need it!" Kyuu bellowed just as she tagged Lùn hard in the face. "And I'm tired of letting what species I am define me!" She screamed, kicking the fox hard three times in three different spots in quick succession, aiming for the groin gut and face. The fox slumped back against the cage, panting hard, but still hanging in there literally as the rabbit came in to finish her off.
Loba stood on the sidelines observing them and was very impressed by the rabbit's tenaciousness. She was tempted to call the match right here and now before things got too heated, but she wished to see if Lùn could pull through now that her opponent was enraged.
"You hear me? I don't need it!" The rabbit screamed again, rushing in with a hard and fast right hand going for the decisive knockout. Her punch however hit nothing but the cage. She blinked confused and her head swiveled to find the predator zipping to her flank with lightning speed, the still very much conscious canid's fist shot at her like a rocket-propelled grenade and slammed dead-on in the rabbit's cream and brown-furred stomach. The abrupt stop almost made Kyuu's eyes nearly bulge out of their sockets and her insides felt like they shifted around.
The fox had lured her in and she had fallen for it just like a sucker. As she hunched over, gasping for much-needed air, the fox yanked her in close herself and paid her back with a hard knee right between the rabbit's legs. The image of a glass pane shattering came to mind as a huge riptide of pain washed over the rabbit. Kyuu uttered a weak groan as she nearly doubled over in pain, her legs almost gave out but the fox almost sadistically kept her standing.
She snatched the hurting herbivore up by her bra's strap, nearly ripping it off, and pulled her in close. "If you don't need it, you better convince me then!" Lùn snarled right before she shoved Kyuu back and rocked her with a hard uppercut to the jaw.
Kyuu clumsily staggered back dazed, confused, and her vision fuzzy and unreliable. Her brain was completely rattled and her legs were numb, she had no control over where she stepped. She caught sight of a messy orange and green blur speeding at her, but she couldn't move. Next thing she knew she was hitting the mat with a resounding thud! The weight of the fox crushed down on her and found it harder and harder to breathe. Her neck was being constricted by the fox's thighs. She fought as hard as she could to pry them loose or slip free, but they had slammed shut almost like jaws. Her vision dimmed by the second, her air was running out, she used up the last of her energy trying to pound at whatever she could before her gloved hand limply fell to the mat. The last thing she heard was the so-called referee shouting for the end before she drifted off into a forced tranquil slumber.
~Oi, Oi, Oi! Didn't we talk all that trash about not needing Chimera? A familiar voice spoke, bouncing around her skull like an echo in an empty house.
Shut up. The rabbit responded to no one as she saw just a black abyss of nothingness. She was alone, yet not alone.
~You want us to shut up? The voice asked, amused. ~ Looks like we don't need any help with that, huh? Lùn did a fine job with that, huh?
I don't need your commentary.
~Just like you don't need Imaginary Chimera? Or San? Just blitz the problem on your own, right? That has worked out splendidly, hasn't it?
Shut up!
~Make me.
If I ever figure out how to kill a figment of my imagination, your ass is so grass…
~Hahaha. That'll be the day.
Kyuu woke up to a very cold and very wet splash. She shook her head which felt like a pounded drum. She opened her eyes again and was met with a bright and blinding light and a dark obscured figure standing over her. At first, she thought it to be San or even worse her imaginative shadow back to rub it in. No, instead to her mild surprise it was Lùn. The battered fox had an empty pail in her hand as she looked down at her. Then she realized she had just got water dumped on her. She really had been knocked out cold.
"Ah, fuck…" Kyuu swore, still shaking her head trying to clear it of the cobwebs. As her vision focused, she peered back up to the fox expecting to see a cocky smile or a gloating expression, but when things stopped having triplets she saw instead a relieved smile on the canid's visage.
The vixen was a completely different animal now. "Um… sorry." She said, "Got a little too hot there, and uh… well." She twiddled her thumbs as she bit her lips. The vulpes bent down and extended her hand to her. Kyuu hesitated, but finally grabbed hold of the fox's wrist and allowed herself to get pulled up to her feet.
Dusting herself off and trying to fix the nearly destroyed top, glanced over at the fox. "Don't sweat it. You're alright. Nothing I wasn't going to do." Kyuu said silently. "I should control my anger better. It made me sloppy and unfocused, too greedy." She insisted. "So, good on you for exploiting I guess."
"You did well Sn- um… Kyuu. " A huskier voice said, behind them. It was Loba who had come back with some towels in her hands which she tossed to the both of them. "Consider me very impressed." She commended her. You're a bit rough around the edges, but I can see how you made it so far in the arena landscape."
"Uh… thanks, I guess." The rabbit said, groggily rubbing her face clean of cold sweat and blood. The praise felt surprisingly nice. "You weren't such a bad referee. Wish you could have stopped it before she choked me out, but hey… 'least I ain't dead or hurt…so much." She then gave her a thumbs up.
The wox chuckled at the herbivore with a warm smile on her brutish face. "I'll take that praise." She said cheerfully. "Now, how about you girls hit the showers?" She offered, pointing towards the locker room. "I'll get your clothes together. Lùn, you be on your best behavior."
A few minutes later… (NSFW)
The cold water falling upon their naked bodies felt like a godsend. This was probably the best shower she had had in years, the nozzles at the tower were very old and some of the holes didn't work anymore, but the full blast of the newer model felt heavenly to Kyuu as she scrubbed her bruised body. The soap they bathed with was nice too, she had no clue what fragrance it was but it was very pleasing to the nose.
The view as Lùn said earlier wasn't so bad, Kyuu started feeling a bit damp downstairs as she peeked glances at the vixen as she bathed and it wasn't the shower. The water glistening off of the tiny fox's toned abs was just mesmerizing to the rabbit. She had a really bad… perverted urge to just walk over and just place her hands on her soft cream-colored belly, just run her fingers on her soft short fur. The admiration seemed mutual as well, as she occasionally caught glimpses of the fox's head glancing her way periodically. Usually, such looks meant someone scoping her out as a potential meal, but Lùn's flushed expressions told of something far more… flattering .
"You gonna keep looking over here, huh Loony? She just flat out asked, trying to bait her over, as she began brushing down her breasts. "Want me to help? Get your back?" She jokingly offered.
Lùn immediately freaked, covering her snout. "No, uh…" Her head drooped towards the floor to hide her blushing. "I-I just want to say sorry. Again, you know? I was a real bitch earlier."
"I told you don't sweat it," Kyuu replied, rolling her eyes as she returned to scrubbing her arms. "It is what it is. You won. It hurts, but I can deal with it. I'll just get you next time ." The rabbit said, narrowing her boastfully with a competitive flair. "Oh and uh… sorry for stomping on your face too… I guess." She said as she scrubbed the inside of her ears.
"No, I mean…" The fox said, inhaling sharply. "You know with the whole Monster Girl thing… I shouldn't have gone there."
"Oh, that," Kyuu said softly, her eyes drifting down towards the floor. "Yeahlookdon'tworryaboutit…" She trailed off.
On one hand, she didn't really want to reveal too much about her techniques, and on the other, she didn't wish for the fox to make such a big deal out of it. She just wanted to shelve Chimera and focus on relying on better things. The technique had always been more of a self-defensive measure that she stretched out to aid her in fighting used to project her desire and jealousy at others' strengths.
"Hey uh, Lùn? How about you forget about that and just help me get better at grappling? Just show me how to get better at that flying scissors move you did and we can call it even? Deal?" She asked, trying to drop it.
"No, ugh. Look I am… I'm-" The vixen groaned frustrated.
The rabbit closed her eyes and sighed heavily. Of course, she couldn't let it go.
"I'm worried about you, okay?" The fox blurted out. "Um, I did all of that because I wanted to push you to be at your best for your fight. If that freaky stuff helps, then use it I say."
"Lùn," the rabbit started to say with a real tired look on her face. "Stop worrying about me. Don't need you breathing down my neck, telling me what to do." She said, turning around to resume scrubbing.
"I do worry!" The fox said. "I know how you're fighting that monkey guy, the foreigner."
Kyuu quickly turned around, glancing over at her with a curious look. "That's right. You never did tell me how exactly you know monkey jerk." She pointed out, "You know him from the arena or something? Did you see him fight?
Lùn's ears fell to the side as she bit her lip. The 'how' she found to be rather embarrassing. "I uh… met him last night after his fight. I cornered him after he left the booking office. He had tried to bust in on your friend and my Onésan's private time. Dumbass had the balls to ask your friend about you. Loba pretty much beat the dogshit out of him."
"Yeah, Pao was his name." The rabbit replied, looking visibly frustrated as she thought about the smarmy simian.
"How exactly do you know him?" The vixen inquisitively rebounded, shaking her loofah at the lop with intent to get to the bottom of this. "Fess up. He seemed to know you relatively well."
The rabbit took a second to figure out where to begin but eventually decided to give her the short version. "Okay, you remember the night we met in the store?" She said,
"Yeah, that night after we…" Lùn stopped herself short, deciding it best not to divulge her role in the heist. She doubted Kyuu would tell anyone important, but she'd likely get into a lot of trouble if it got out to her superiors that she blabbed. "Uh, yeah that night we met up." Her ears drooped down as she looked off into the distance. "You were pretty beat up when I saw you. I remember being very pissed at you for being so damned reckless." She snapped.
"Yeah, well… he's the one that beat me up." The rabbit begrudgingly admitted. "We met in one of the parks earlier that day." Kyuu took a second to really think about how she wanted to tell the story but just decided to give the basics. "I challenged him to a fight and well… I didn't win." She said under her breath.
Lùn didn't ridicule, strangely enough, just rolling her eyes. "I figured."
"He had this weird fighting style and I admittedly wasn't fighting smart or at my best. So he won. I ended up hurting myself in the long run." A look of anger quickly took over her darkened face. "I only found out after I woke up that he was the contender at the Arena and that he had technically beaten me. Now me and him obviously got unfinished business." Kyuu lightly banged her head on the wall as the cold water flowed down her backside. The truth was even colder to bear. "So I'm gonna kick his ass!" She growled into the wall, turning around, flicking her swaying wet ears off of her shoulders and face.
"Well, he seemed real eager to- Ah!" the fox exclaimed, quickly noticing that she was being given a full view of the lop's buxom body, and almost instantly she started to blush. She had to avert her eyes, just to focus. "Please… could you turn the other way," She requested, nose redder than her orange fur as her brushtail started to wag rapidly, inadvertently splashing water everywhere, including on the rabbit.
Kyuu just frowned at her and snapped her fingers. "Oi, cut it out, you're splashing me with that feather duster!" She said, shielding herself from the spray coming her way.
Lùn quickly snapped out of it and got her tail under control. A tinge of embarrassment overtook her as she scratched the top of her head. "Uh, yeah just turn the other way please." She requested.
Kyuu had a slight content smile on her face as she obliged. "I thought you liked me," she said, eying her smug with her hands on her hips. "Don't you like what you see?"
"I'm trying to get my story straight and I can't concentrate with you… like this!" The fox said, looking away embarrassed. "Ugh, as I was saying, he seemed really eager to fight you again all the same." She gulped and made a deep sigh. "Which is why I… uh told him to take a hike. " She muttered low and under her breath, hoping Kyuu wouldn't have heard it over the running water.
No such luck, the lop's hearing wasn't exactly the best a rabbit could have anymore, but she totally heard that tidbit and gave Lún a look of disbelief before facepalming. "What? You told him what? Are you serious?" The shower room was soon filled with the lagomorph's laughter as could barely contain herself. "What? Are you jealous or something?" She asked with a skeptical look.
The fox had a hard time answering that, only muttering a few words and groaning as she went back to scrubbing.
Kyuu's face lit up as she pieced it together easily. "Oh my God, you are!" She exclaimed, laughing. "You really tried to strong-arm him because you wanted to fight me next, didn't you?"
"Lùn frowned, saying nothing as her gaze went back towards the floor.
"That is so childish! Hahaha!" Kyuu exclaimed.
"Look, I didn't want to lose you to him, alright?" The fox angrily grumbled, gazing down at the drain. "Can't you see that?"
The rabbit had a confused look on her face as she looked at the fox. "... I'm not trying to fuck him if that's what you're worried about," Kyuu said. She then started grinning after thinking about it more. "I mean he is attractive for a monkey and all, but-"
"That's not what I meant!" The pygmy quickly snapped, starting to lose her temper. "I just didn't want him to ruin what we have."
"What we have- We just started trying this out like a few hours ago!" The rabbit spouted flustered. "What is the real reason huh? She asked, eying the fox skeptically "Do you care so much about kicking my ass that you're worried about me losing before we clash in the cage? Is that it? Don't. I'll be fine."
"Fine?!" The pygmy snapped. "You should have seen the guy he took out last night. He was even scarier looking. He broke his nose just by kicking him. The guy was bigger than the both of us combined!"
"Jeez, you're beginning to sound just like San. I saw the fight highlights on his little phone. I can take the slick-talking jerk with his fancy dancing. He might have gotten the better of me before, but I'm going in much wiser this time. Plus I know he's got a weakness, he lacks killer instinct, so I sorta got an edge on him there."
"What if that's not enough? You just fought me and I beat you, remember?" The fox pointed out.
Kyuu rolled her eyes. "Sure, sure. But we were sparring."
"Bullshit!" The fox snapped. "You know we were both going all out. If Loba wasn't playing it safe, one of us would be in the infirmary and you know it. And it would have been you! " She said matter-of-factly, jabbing the loofah at her.
Kyuu's brow raised at that statement. "Now you're just being too damn cocky."
"You thought you had me on the ropes." Lùn pointed. " You thought. We all saw how that turned out huh? And Loba stopped me again before that. I was going to pin you in that corner and let's be real here, I'd have demolished you if she hadn't stopped me. Face it." The fox said, jabbing at her with the loofah again. "You're not as infallible as you think you are."
"Okay, okay." The rabbit said, slapping it away. "So what? You just beat me those times."
"And in your little basement." The fox quickly interjected.
"Okay, that too." The rabbit begrudgingly acknowledged.
"And the store."
The rabbit just groaned in frustration. "Fucking… look. Stop worrying about me." She huffed. "Alright? Fuck… I'm going to fight him my own way alright."
"I just want you to win." The fox insisted, folding her arms. "It's in my interest that you win. Because you are who I really want to fight. I want to be the one that beats you at the arena. Not some outsider. Me. You're my prize to claim not his. Not his ."
"Prize? Are you for real? Oh, now I'm your possession?" Kyuu said, giving the fox a wide eye as she stepped closer to the vixen, who noticeably squirmed at the sight of the rabbit's fully uncovered voluptuous form. "So this is what this is all about? I'm some prize for you, huh fox? Do you want me or my title so bad that you're scheming to try and weaken me through my heart? Is that what this is?!"
"No! No!" The vixen turned tomato red as she quickly denied the accusations. "I like you! Okay? I really do."
"Oh Suuuure."
"Our relationship is weird, okay? You're like a partner. You're not like Fa or the rest of my sisters. You're like another half of me. Someone that takes me seriously. Someone that doesn't just write me off as some half-cooked runt. I feel like you're like a crucial piece of my puzzle."
"Yeah, I can see why you were expecting all that poetry jazz earlier." The rabbit said offhandedly, rolling her eyes at the fox. "I get what you mean… at least I think so."
"But despite all of that I still have the burning desire to be better than you! I know I'm better than you. I feel that's why my hunger doesn't affect me anymore with you. I don't look at you like just meat. Rex, I don't even want to eat rabbit meat anymore. You're my rival and I just want to beat you, one decisive battle where we go all out. And call it a kink, but I just want everyone to know it. I want you to know it. " The fox had a more comfortable look of confidence on her wet face.
"So you want to humiliate me on a grand stage? Huh?" The rabbit asked, staring at her. "That's what drives you?"
"Well…"
"No, no. That's it." Kyuu interjected. "You want to beat me. You want to take away one of the only things I have left in this world, the little amount of pride that I earned on my own, and just take it away from me huh? With everyone watching."
"Er...Yes," Lùn reluctantly answered. Her ears drooped down the side of her head.
"Well then… good luck, Loony. You're gonna need it." The rabbit growled, poking Lùn right in the chest and leaning right into the fox's face with no fear. Lùn found herself backing up, trying not to look down in the rabbit's cleavage. "Because I'm gonna prove you wrong! I'm gonna prove that you're not better than me! How about that?" She asked.
"You…" The fox stammered at a loss for words. Water continued to trickle down the fox's wet and soggy head as she stood there, staring in the rabbit's earthly toned eyes in disbelief. Suddenly a grin formed on her muzzle. "I wouldn't want it any other way."
"So the challenge is on Loony." Kyuu declared. "You keep winning your fights. And I'll be damn sure to win my own. All I ask is that you give me some faith and I'll do my damndest to win. And when that day comes and I face off against you on that grand stage, we will see who comes out on top. We'll have a big showdown that will make our little fracas earlier look like practice. That good enough?" The rabbit replied, backing off. "Now… in the meantime, stop staring at me and get over here." She said, beckoning the fox over.
"What?" The fox asked.
"Don't be coy…" The rabbit said as she squeezed her wet and round cleavage together. She backed up towards the tile wall and beckoned for her to come closer. "I know you've been wanting me since the tower. That kiss you gave me earlier had me thinking. If you hold that much power over me, then you have an advantage. That kind of distraction can make me soft, and I can't have that. So it's obvious that I need to build up my tolerance to it. So come on…" She beckoned.
The pygmy vixen then just erupted into wild laughter, much to the rabbit's chagrin. "HEHEHEHE! You stupid bitch. Training? Training?!" She mocked, sauntering over and slamming her paws on both sides of the rabbit's face, leaning in even closer, staring Kyuu right in the eyes. "If you're so damn horny. Just ask." She said, the rabbit glancing at her fangs as she spoke. "Don't make up such lame excuses!"
The rabbit's ebony brown eyes veered towards the fox's large hands. "Whatever happened to Miss Red Nose huh?" She muttered, as Lùn came in close and planted her soft lips up to the rabbit's mouth. The initial fear faded away quickly. Her face felt like it was still burning, but the fox's wet nose and lips mashing against her face made all of the pain melt away like wax in the sun. Finally, the fox pulled back with a smug grin on her face.
"I was trying to concentrate before, but now… now you have my full attention ." She answered. "Also, in case you haven't noticed, I got you cornered again, Kyuu, and there ain't no one telling me to break it up." The vixen said half-menacingly as their wet bodies mashed together. Kyuu started to slide down to the floor as Lùn became more aggressive. The canid's fangs nicked the side of her face a bit as her head drifted down towards her neck, causing her to shudder.
Not one to be outdone, Kyuu got involved as well; her hands found themselves grabbing tufts of fur on the fox's neck and shoving head away from her face and away down into her bosom before wrapping her legs around the fox's waist and her feet felt along the soft cushiony fur of the vixen's ass. Her free hand ventured down, squeezing between their bodies, and began caressing Lùn's clit. The panting fox pulled off briefly for air and then began running her warm tongue along the side of the rabbit's neck again. Kyuu gasped softly in her ears as the stimulating sensation overtook her body.
"Y'know… I'm kinda tempted to take a bite."
Kyuu just gave her a look that screamed "I bet you won't." Lùn just smirked and continued licking.
"You know, It's kinda funny. I finally got your neck like I've always wanted," Lùn remarked, as she ran her tongue down the brown strip of the lop's throat.
"Heh, yeah well I did say you had beat me first." Kyuu joked, her large eyes gazing down enticingly at the vixen with a slight smile forming as she continued to run her toes along the fox's backside. "I think this counts." Amused and pleased, the fox's fluffy tail began wagging back and forth rapidly, feeling like a feather duster in turbo mode. "That tickles," Kyuu commented.
"Oh yeah?" The fox said, looking in her face with a sultry look. "Well, I bet this will too." She said confidently as she began to lick at the lop's wet breasts, her tongue massaging her areolas and taking the lagomorph to a higher plane of pleasure. The rabbit's wet taste and moans were just encouragement for the vixen as she slurped her cat-like tongue on her nipple and began to suck. Her toes jerked at the feel of stimuli, rubbing against the vixen's calves. The soft soles of the herbivore's feet rubbing along the fox's bumps and tender flesh felt akin to a sensual massage. The fox then slipped free of Kyuu's legs and scooched up next to her on the wall.
"Let's take your training to the next level, hmm?" The fox said mockingly as she turned and leaned over, planting her lips on the rabbit's mouth while her hand drifted down south. Kyuu felt the fox's paws spread her legs open and soon felt the big finger spread the folds on her labia open. She couldn't see what was going on down there, but she could feel it. The fox was playing with her clit. Her big thumb massaged circles gently on her little bean, while the fox tilted her head trying to keep her fangs in check as she pushed more into the rabbit's mouth.
Suddenly Kyuu let out a soft gasp, separating their mouths as two of the canid's middle fingers slid into her fleshy orifice. "Careful with those." She whispered weakly in the fox's ear. "Watch the nails."
"Trust me, I know what I'm doing." The sly-looking fox said confidently. "You're definitely a lot tighter than me, but I know what I'm doing."
The fox's large and long fingers began to vigorously slide back and forth down her narrow tunnel, while the fox's palm rubbed roughly against her tiny fleshy nub. The rabbit shivered and quaked as if she had been shocked by static electricity as the fox started to thrust even harder. Lùn's thick fingers felt akin to a nice and warm phallus. Sweat began to mix with the dropping shower water as Kyuu started to heat up like a fever. The canid's other hand found its way to her right breast, cupping and squeezing. Her fierce-looking hands were gentle and soothing against her bruised flesh. The pygmy vixen took extra care of the rabbit's stiffening nipples as she locked lips with her once more.
"Mmph…" The lop moaned as the vixen's tongue invaded her mouth, "God, your fingers are so big . Keep going, don't you stop," she begged as the fox's digits pumped into her faster. "Rex…" She whined. If she only used just one more, she'd almost feel as big as...
"Don't tell me what to do," Lùn snarled, as she lightly slapped the lop's tit. Kyuu quivered and shook, perspiring and becoming even more of a wet mess as the shower water crashed like a waterfall on top of the both of them.
"So how do you like your training so far, huh?" The fox asked, grinning mischievously as she picked up speed. "Think you can handle this ?"
"Ugghhh, fuuuuuck!" The rabbit's mind was completely frazzled as she closed her eyes and threw her head back with a moan of pure ecstasy. Her feet slid erratically across the slick wet floor as if trying to gain purchase as she jerked and squirmed. It was not long before she had finally hit her spot. The image of a levee bursting under pressure flashed in her mind as her warm sticky juices flooded out of her onto the cold wet tiles. She had masturbated on her own plenty of times since she matured, but she never expected to cum that fast. The prowess of a female carnivore, she thought, panting heavily as her chest shifted up and down as her heart pounded like a piston engine in overdrive.
"Well, well. Are we still training or do you want to fuck for real?" The fox quipped.
*pant* *pant* "Screw it. You made your *pant* -made your point." *pant* The rabbit said, winded, heart racing.
"That's what I thought. Hehehe!" The fox chuckled, as she pulled her drenched fingers from the flushed rabbit's pussy and put them up to her mouth, slurping them clean right in front of her. She licked her lips. "I take it back. I think I still do have a taste for you. Hehehe." She joked as the two of them fell to the floor for more.
Soon after…
"Okay, girls. You've been in here long enough. I got your clothes ironed and pressed and your weapons and… oh." The wolf/fox hybrid stopped right in her tracks and just stared. She quickly covered her mouth and ducked out of sight. She could hardly believe what she had seen.
She could hear them moaning on the other side, just the feeling of embarrassment overtook her. The wox quickly backed away from the doorway and pressed her back against the wall, just listening to the two. She peered around the door frame and saw the pygmy lying on her back, Kyuu's face buried between her legs. The rabbit was practically eating her out like a ravenous carnivore. It was almost ironic. The pygmy's legs squeezed harder, pushing the rabbit in even closer.
Sweet Rex. She felt like she should stop them, but… given what the pygmy had said when she had confessed her feelings for the rabbit, this should have been expected. It could be much worse, she thought, at least they weren't killing each other in there. Backing away nice and slow, she decided to just give them a bit more time and pretend she saw nothing.
Meanwhile in the city center.
San still had a forlorn look upon his face as he slouched on the patio table outside the parfait shop, his vanilla caramel ice cream treat melted before him in its cup. The uneaten dessert was starting to resemble him in a way both in how he felt as well as the blending toppings with his own blonde locks.
The brown-furred vixen sitting opposite of him couldn't help but feel concerned. "You know," Pris joked, "You're just going to need a straw for that in a bit, you know. Ice cream doesn't last very long in the hot sun." she joked, trying to lighten the mood.
"Yeah I know," he said rather deflated. "I just- I think this was a mistake. Maybe we should go back home,"
"Cut that shit out," she snapped at him. "I told you over a hundred times now, you did nothing wrong."
"I mean. Yeah, I just still feel like my appetite is out of whack." He said rather somberly.
"Oh, come on!" She said, "You were raving all about trying new foods this morning, now you're just letting that Italian gelato go to waste. At least take a bite. Alright?" She said, "Seriously, are you going to let your stomach suffer for your conscience?"
He sighed. "Oh, alright…" He grumbled, reluctantly sticking the scoopful of the salted caramel treat in his mouth. As if on cue his whole expression performed a complete 180. His eyes widened as the delectable flavor touched his taste buds. "Oh cripes… this is so good!" He quickly admitted. "This is really good!" Soon he began scarfing it down, much to Priscilla's dismay.
"Hey Hey!" She quickly tried to warn. "What did I tell you about eating too fast? Don't want to get brain freeze."
"It's so goooooood thoooooough! Mmmmmmmm!" He moaned with unbelievable satisfaction, turning the heads of many of the nearby patrons. And then also as if on cue his face twisted with an ugly pained expression as the chilly delight punished his over-eagerness. "Ack! My head! Soooooo cooooooold arrrrgh!" He screamed, clutching the back of his head.
"I told you, you big dummy." She said half-embarrassed, getting up and rubbing the back of his head. Suddenly, her phone began to ring. The caller ID read, 'Fa.'
"Business?" He asked, still rubbing his nape, wise to such things.
Priscilla just smiled and nodded. "I will be back shortly." She told him, rushing off and secluding herself in an alcove to take the call. "Speak." She said, putting it up to her ear. The bat-ear greeted her with a serious tone, which meant there was something up. The first thought went towards the rabbit. "San's friend hasn't given you any trouble has she?"
"Not that I know of," Fa answered back, her voice had a cheerful inflection that Pris was quick to notice. "We got her down here at the Den. I left her in Loba and Lùn's care. She's been on her best behavior believe it or not. Takano-kun at the door tried to start something with her though, but Loba disciplined him before things got out of hand."
"Something else then?" Priscilla asked.
"Well… we got a call for you from the Madaragumi," Fa answered, her tone more serious.
Priscilla sighed, "What the hell do they want? Are they still pissed about last night?" She said, looking over her shoulder at San, still eating. The llama was going to town on the ice cream which made her grin grow even bigger. "The monthly Day of Depravity is in two weeks if they want to settle anything petty like that."
"No real clue, Onésan," Fa answered. "All they said was that they wanted you to call them and that they had an offer . I'm pretty sure it was the leader from last night. Ponzu. I'm texting you the number now."
"That pious windbag…" She mumbled. "Anything else?"
"No. The books are in order. Revenue so far is pretty steady. Guest satisfaction is booming." Fa droned on. "Everything is green , Onésan."
The brown vixen just smiled proudly at her protege's efficiency. "Very good, Fa. Just keep the rabbit there then, I'll probably be back with her friend before noon." She said before hanging up.
The notification came in no time at all. The Madaragumi. Her enthusiasm plummeted as she thumbed the numbers in. She could really only bear the pathetic ego of the proud spotted felines for so long when she was loaded, now she was calling them bone dry sober. Just wonderful. As she got a dial tone, she just sighed. What the hell could they want now?
