I knew right away that Ben was gone. I didn't know why.
I looked at my watch. It was normal.
I fell back across my bed. "Was it all a dream? I don't even have proof it happened."
I flipped on the tv. "Same stuff about my favorite Alien Hero. Same stuff that doesn't involve me. Stupid girl, you should've known."
Upside down I looked at my watch again.
"Dream or not, this is a sucky ending." I flipped back over and sat up, clapping my hands. "Alright, back to reality."
Looking at the watch again, I muttered. "I'm not his type." A tear fell on the surface of the smart watch. "I'm not that girl."
I took off the watch, unable to look at it anymore.
"Ben 10." I breathed, looking out the window at the snow. "Sayonara."
