"You're still Kuri." Darren said, touching the symbol. "You got into University?"
I nodded. "That's why I came here. I wanted to celebrate. Relive the best date ever." I squeezed his hand. "It's been a long time. I'm a graduate now."
"And I sort of…just became a man." He gestured to his body like it was a surprise to him too.
"You look younger than me." I smiled. "That's alright. You'll definately live longer."
"You still think all this is possible?" Darren groaned. "We can't, there's a war and—"
"I know all that." I said dismissively. "The Princes and I have been in contact since you left the Mountain. I'm a priestess, they needed my help. I'm a graduate—of Lady Evanna. That's why she allows me to be called Lady Priestess."
Darren sucked in a breath. Was it possible. He let himself take my hand. Clearly this was difficult for him. But I knew for certain.
I pulled the vampire with the eyes of a killer to me and kissed away the pain.
