In a world where Exterminators aren't a threat, and Charlie is now queen, she rules to make Hell a little more like Heaven. And nowhere is that more apparent than the newly reformed Lust, now the Ring of Love. Here Asmodeus and Fizzarolli run Ozzie's with the goal of bringing people together, and on this particular day a familiar face shows up hoping to make his love known. (For the last day of Fizzarozzie Week I made a fun little AU which has no connection to the previous stories)

Hell is a plane of suffering and agony to those who have been cast down here; every day they live under the constant threat of a final death, or a far worse fate. Such horrors are not limited to just those deemed as sinners. Even the populace that was born in this realm are subject to this torture, or are themselves perpetrators. This is how it has always been since the dawn of its creation, and what most believed it would forever be. That is until Charlie Magne, daughter to Lucifer and heir to the throne, finally took power over the seven rings.

Under her rule, she proposed a change, one that would alter Hell and the fates of everyone in it. Tired of seeing the constant suffering her people went through each day, she decreed that those who held power in the rings would strive to make their lives better; a so-called Heaven in Hell. Such an idea was seen as ridiculous at first but, as the years went on, she used her newfound influence to enact her plan. These efforts did not come without resistance; it took time, but eventually the rings realized her dream and found a new way of life as a result.

While some power swapped hands, most in control before kept their seats and saw more benefits from the changes than they initially believed. Although the afterlife still isn't perfect, the denizens lead greater lives as a result. Arguably the ones who lead the best lives are those who reside within the Ring of Love, once known as Lust. Here Asmodeus, now the embodiment of romance, rules. Of all the Goetia to hear Charlie out, he was the most amicable to her cause, and one of the first to implement change in his ring. Compared to the other Goetia it wasn't hard for him to do, for what is lust if not a physical kind of love?

He made sure that, as long as he holds sway, his subjects are guaranteed happiness. And happiest of all of them is the demon Fizzarolli.

Once a poor imp who left his home heartbroken, he went to Asmodeus during Love's infancy hoping to heal the emptiness he felt inside. Although he only meant to soothe his melancholy state, Asmodeus surprised both of them when he later confessed feelings for the imp and they quickly fell into each other's arms. They had been together ever since, Asmodeus promising he would be there for him until he inevitably passed on. Such is the unfortunate fate of mortal demons like Fizz. But until that day comes they have spent every moment together, making the most out of their relationship, and helping others find the love they deserve.

But where, you might ask, can one find Asmodeus? Well, the answer to that is easy. If you are in Love, whose newly pink skies have never seen a single cloud nor a drop of rain, you can find him at his usual place of business. Ozzie's. This enterprise used to house demons who craved only the simplest carnal desires, but Asmodeus now welcomes those who want more than a physical connection.

While it's still a place of entertainment with its own line-up to keep its audience happy, they have become well-known for one reason in particular. Love confessions. Here, anyone can come to confess their feelings to a friend, express their love to their partner, or make a proposal. They'll even host the wedding if you can afford it. But if you find yourself getting cold feet, Asmodeus will be there to make sure you get your feelings out. Because at Ozzie's, nobody leaves with a broken heart.

But it wasn't just its clientele and business that changed, the entire club got a makeover to reflect its new state. Ozzie's was now an establishment colored in beautiful reds and pinks, to reflect their business in everything romance, from the ceilings to the floor. Hearts patterned themselves along the walls in white, popping against the pink background. These walls were intersected vertically by pillars, at the top of which were beautiful fixtures that provided a soft glow for the interior. To complete the look, in the middle of the side walls, sat towers of pink flame encased in cylinders of glass. Ozzie's may have undergone massive revision, but it still kept its extravagance.

Other pieces of altered decor include the tables, which are evenly-spaced around the room, draped in a luxurious pink cloth, with two heart-shaped seats positioned at each table. As usual, they were all taken. Despite the transformation, demons across the rings still flocked here. This time with those they loved to get a chance at spending a romantic evening together, or maybe putting on an aforementioned special performance of their own. Which they would do on the grand stage that took up the center of Ozzie's.

Matching the theme of this current business, the stage took the shape of a large heart, with the bottom tip extending back along the floor until it hit the wall directly opposite the entrance. This wall was cut open into an even bigger heart with the walls behind it cut into progressively smaller hearts; these openings between walls led into the backstage area. Lights shone brightly from small bulbs that dotted the edges of the stage, leading all along the runway and up the heart-shaped edge of the wall, and were more than capable of illuminating anyone who stood on it. The sigil of Asmodeus was burning in the center of the main platform, letting the patrons who used it know who to thank for their time here. It was brilliant and eye-catching, which is important when you're trying to make a confession of love. And for that purpose only a microphone stood on the stage, although Ozzie's encourages those who want to use props or instruments to bring their own.

Overlooking this grandiose enterprise from a private viewing balcony above one of the flame towers was Asmodeus himself. His pink boots stretched along the length of his legs, ending in white edges. His suit was a vibrant red with pink sleeves and had glowing white pinstripes running vertically down the front and back. And finally, to complete this extravagant personage, a tall pink and white hat sat atop his head. He intentionally chose this dress to match his business, and fully embody the spirit of romance he had adopted.

But he wasn't the only one. As he sat back in his chair, mechanical hands extended out from behind his back and wrapped themselves around his chest. Feeling them, Asmodeus smiled, knowing who they belonged to. A second later, Fizzarolli peeked out from above his shoulder with a grin. Then he pulled his entire body over and flipped around so he was kneeling on Asmodeus's thighs. He kept his hands on his chest, while Asmodeus encircled Fizz with his arms.

He was dressed in the same colors as Asmodeus, viewing the matching colors as a silent expression of his love for him. Although his garb wasn't a suit, but a jester's outfit. A design he wanted to keep from his days at the circus before he worked for Ozzie's. As he knelt on Asmodeus, his eyes easily found his like they have so many times before. Then he leaned forward and met his lips with his own. This connection easily escalated as their tongues moved in to explore one another's mouths.

They sank into the passionate kiss for a moment, but it was not to last, as Asmodeus just as easily pulled him away. "Baby the next act will be on in thirty minutes, you need to prepare. We can do this later."

Fizz groaned and pouted, "But Ozzzzieee it's the same thing with every person today, just the names change."

He held a fist in front of his face as if he were holding a microphone, "Hello everyone! Hope you've been having a lovely and loving day. And speakin' of loving, this gentleman/lady has something they want to say to their significant other. So I hope you'll join me and give a big hand to… insert name here."

Fizz leaned forward to try and kiss Asmodeus again, only for a large finger to stop him and push him back. Asmodeus chuckled, "And this is why I say you need to prepare, because I know you never actually read the schedule. This next act is a special one."

Fizz perked up at this and tilted his head so he could see Asmodeus, "A special one?"

Asmodeus pulled his finger away, "That's right, we got a good old love confession. He came in person yesterday to tell me all about it. From what I remember, the two have been together for a while and grown quite close, but nothing's been made official yet. Well, he's about to make it official today, right here on stage."

Fizz couldn't help but smile wide. He loved seeing people confess their love to another; it always brought him back to the day Asmodeus finally confessed his feelings towards him. They never went bad either, it helped that Ozzie's reputation is well-known so if you were being taken here you had a good idea why.

Fizz turned away from Asmodeus so he could look into the scene spread below them. "So, where are they?" He asked.

Asmodeus stood up from his seat slowly, allowing Fizz to whip himself around onto his back, then walked over to the ledge of the balcony. Leaning on it, he peered around for a few seconds before pointing to a table by the end of the stage.

"There he is… wait is that Stolas?" Asmodeus asked in slight surprise.

"Woah, someone trying to scoop up Stolas already?" Fizz asked, looking at Asmodeus from his shoulder.

He shrugged, "He didn't mention that to me, but I guess so. I mean, I know he's a popular guy so this isn't too surprising, but so soon after his split from the missus?"

"Yeah, I remember reading about that," Fizz said, finally looking over to the table where Asmodeus was pointing, "this guy will definitely have his work… cut out… oh my god."

His voice drifted off as soon as he recognized who sat across from the Goetian prince. His old friend and partner from the circus, Blitzo. The sight of him came as a shock to the imp; he hadn't seen him since their break-up and they went their separate ways in life. Now he was here, and he was courting a Goetian too?

"Fizzy? What's wrong?" Asmodeus asked, all three heads noticing the look of disbelief on his face.

Fizz looked over and shook his head slightly, "It's just… the guy trying to get with Stolas is my ex."

All three faces gave a look of surprise, "Are we talking about the same ex you told me about when we first met?"

Fizz nodded as confirmation, "Yeah, the same one."

Asmodeus looked between him and the table a couple times. "Huh, well it looks like Ozzie's is about to experience its first heartbreak."

Fizz's eyes widened as he saw Asmodeus pushing on the ledge, ready to jump off and charge after Blitzo. "Wait!" He exclaimed, quickly swinging himself around so he was in front of the Goetia and planting his legs on his chest. This action gave Asmodeus pause, allowing Fizz time to convince him to calm down.

"Ozzie, I love how protective you are of me, it's one of your sweeter traits. But before you go do something I'm going to regret, I don't feel like I used to about him anymore." Asmodeus tilted his head, both confused and disbelieving of his words. So Fizz explained himself.

"I know, I was pretty messed up after the break-up. When I came to you I said a lot of things, things I probably didn't mean but that's how I felt. But as I lived with you I managed to get over it and really look back. He ain't a bad guy, it's just… things out of our control took us apart and we could never really get back together. It was hard to accept that for a while."

Fizz looked into Asmodeus's eyes, placing a hand on his cheek, "But now I do, and I have you. So please don't go down there and kill him. Just tell me what he wanted to do tonight."

Asmodeus looked into his eyes, then past him at Blitzo. He could tell what he told him was true, or at least what he felt was true. So with a sigh he sat back down.

"Alright, if that's how you feel." Fizz smiled at his understanding, causing Asmodeus to smile back while his hands drifted up along Fizz's body.

"Ok, well he wanted to try and make this a surprise."

Fizz cocked an eyebrow, "A surprise? Really? I'm pretty sure that's hard to do considering, y'know, everyone in Hell knows why people come here."

"True, I even told him that. But he was insistent, so we worked on a plan to make the announcement as inconspicuous as possible. Until he gets on stage at least."

Fizz nodded through all this, then an idea popped into his head. "Let me guess," he said, "Blitzo is going to come up with some excuse to leave the table, then he'll be pulled into the back while Stolas isn't looking?"

"Well that's the first part, yes," he corrected, "then we would flood the stage with fog to mask his approach to the stage. Only once he reaches the heart will we put the spotlights on him-"

Fizz interrupted him with a wave of his hand, "And then he does his confession, yeah yeah. But what if I pulled him away from the table? It's been a while since we've seen each other, and I'd like to catch up. Plus, it wouldn't arouse suspicion from Stolas that way if I took him away for a chat."

Asmodeus let out a hum as he thought about it. "Actually that would be better than the bathroom excuse. Especially if you make it seem like you'll be 'talking' for a while." His hands tightened slightly around Fizz's form, "Just as long as you're okay with doing that. I don't want to see you heartbroken again."

Fizz blushed at his concern, then he stretched his arms around so they held Asmodeus's face. The heads in his mane looked lovingly at his touch while Asmodeus kept his eyes on him. "You don't have to worry about me babe. As long as you have my heart I know it will never be broken."

Asmodeus beamed silently at his words, acts of romance like that fueled him and Fizz was always more than happy in indulging him. But he didn't let the moment go on for too long this time, because now he had a job to do. Extending his arms back in an arch he grabbed the edge of the balcony and pulled himself out of Asmodeus's hold and towards the ledge. He landed in a squat, then looked up briefly at his love to give him a parting wink. Then he looked behind him to spot the table where he saw Blitzo and Stolas at and he pushed himself in their direction, vaulting over the other patrons as he did so.

With a single backflip, he extended his legs back to the ground and connected between the two talking at their table. Like Asmodeus he had a flair for the dramatic, so he wasn't surprised his act got their attention, as well as the attention of nearby tables who caught him mid-flight. Once his legs retracted to normal length, he got a good look at the two of them.

Prince Stolas, despite the events he learned he had been through, was looking pretty good tonight. If he was still upset about his divorce he certainly wasn't showing it, neither on his face nor in how he dressed. He was suited up in only the finest regal garb, whose dark purples complimented his natural blue feathers; even the cape that lay draped behind him was impressive, containing an entire galaxy within its cloth. Goetia always seem to go all out when it comes to their clothing, Fizz thought.

Conversely, Blitzo wasn't as fancily dressed compared to the owl sitting across from him. He wore simple black jeans paired with a red shirt, and a jacket Fizz recognized as something he would wear when they used to go out. Not much had changed in their time apart. But even in all that time he knew Blitzo hadn't forgotten him. That much was clear by the stunned look on his face upon seeing him.

Fizz gave him a wide smile in return. "Blitzo! I knew that was you I saw! Man, it's been forever since we've seen each other, how have you been?"

Blitzo opened his mouth, stammering to give an answer, only for Fizz to cut him off, "Actually, you don't have to tell me, I can see clearly you've been doing very well for yourself." He rolled his head over to look at Stolas, then gave a small bow, "Prince, it's an honor to have you here at Ozzie's."

Stolas gave a polite chuckle at the gesture, "Well I'm happy to be here, especially with Blitzy."

Fizz's head snapped back over to Blitzo with a grin. "Blitzy?"

This caused Blitzo's face to turn more red than it already was, and he finally managed to get a few words out. "W-well, it's not, I mean it is but… why are you…?" None of them managed to form a complete sentence however.

Fizz could only giggle at his response, "Relax… Blitzy, I was just messing with you. As for 'why am I', I work here! Have been for a long time now."

Blitzo put his face in his hands, "Of course you have."

Fizz noticed his expression of dismay, believing it stemmed from memories of their prior relationship. Before he could ask about his current condition, Stolas spoke up again.

"I'm sorry, I don't mean for this to come off as rude but… who are you?"

Fizz feigned a large gasp, "Blitzy, you never told him about me? I'm… actually not surprised."

Blitzo groaned, "Please stop calling me that."

Fizz ignored him and bowed once more to Stolas. "The name's Fizzarolli your highness, me and Blitzy go way back. We used to be in the circus together, right buddy?"

Blitzo slowly pulled his face out of his hands at his question, looking between him and Stolas. Then he sighed and nodded sheepishly. "Yeah, we were."

Stolas let out a delighted coo at this new information. "You never told me you were in the circus before."

"Yeah, well," Blitzo grimaced, "that's a time I'd like to forget."

Fizz's smile dimmed as he looked at Blitzo. He eyed his hunched form, until his eyes settled on a familiar pendant around his waist. A red skull that he recognized as once belonging to Blitzo's mother. He could feel a tingling run up his arms as he looked at it, something he hadn't felt for a long time. For a brief moment, he thought he could hear the crackling of fire.

He quickly blinked out of his thoughts and looked between the couple. When he noticed the awkward look on Stolas's face, he forced out a small laugh and walked closer to Blitzo.

"Come on, it wasn't all bad. There were still some good times we had there, right?" He asked, putting a hand on Blitzo's shoulder. He looked up at him to be met with a warm expression.

"Yeah," he whispered, his look somewhat softening at his touch.

Fizz gave a nod and patted his shoulder. Then he snapped his fingers and moved behind Blitzo. Looking over at Stolas he said, "Y'know, I hate to ask this of you prince, since you're clearly doing your own thing together. But do you mind if I steal him for a few minutes so we can catch up? I promise it won't take long. I'll even get you some free drinks to make up for it."

Stolas shook his head, "That's all right, you two take as much time as you need."

"You sure Stolas?" Blitzo asked.

"Of course!" He laughed, then he leaned forward and asked, "Those free drinks include anything on the menu?"

"Yep! Anything you want," Fizz responded enthusiastically.

Stolas reached out and smoothly picked up a menu. Putting it in front of his face he opened it and began looking through all the drinks listed. "Then take your time, really, no rush! I'll be here!"

Blitzo tried to make a comment, but was once again interrupted by Fizz. "Perfect! We'll be heading backstage so we won't be too far!" He emphasized 'backstage', hoping Blitzo would catch what he was trying to imply.

When Blitzo looked up at him with surprise he knew he did, and he pulled him out of his seat and walked them around the stage towards the back of the room. They followed the wall until they reached a door labeled "Employees Only", and Fizz walked through it with Blitzo following closely behind. The door led into a short hallway, wide enough for two people to walk side-by-side, that held the same color scheme as the greater room outside. It contained multiple other doors leading to private rooms, which Fizz ignored as he and Blitzo walked left towards the backstage area.

For a few steps they were silent, nobody else was in the hallway with them so the only sounds came from the people sitting outside. To break the growing uncomfortableness Fizz was beginning to feel, he tried to casually talk to Blitzo.

"So…Stolas, huh?"

For a second Blitzo didn't answer. But then, having realized by now that Fizz knew why he was here, he exhaled a soft, "Yeah."

Fizz smirked at his response. "We've always had the same taste in men. Goetia, incubi, or even…" His voice trailed off as he thought about their relationship and he decided not to finish his sentence, leaving the hallway back in the uncomfortable state it was in before he started talking.

Blitzo caught this, and he stopped walking with Fizz. When Fizz saw this he stopped walking as well, looking back at him to see what was wrong. Blitzo was visibly nervous now, his eyes darted around the walls looking at nothing in particular, his legs shook slightly. It was clear something was on his mind, and Fizz believed it was because of him.

"Blitzo, are you ok? I'm sorry if I surprised you-"

"I'm an asshole," Blitzo blurted out, cutting Fizz off.

His simple outburst caught Fizz off-guard, and he couldn't help letting out a brief chuckle. "I'm sorry?"

Then it was like a dam had burst, and Blitzo's troubles were the water that was being held back. "I'm an asshole for leaving you. I know I should have been with you after what happened. Hell I wanted to be. But when I learned about my mom… I just couldn't. Nothing mattered anymore." His eyes widened as soon as he said that, and he attempted to correct himself. "Not to say you didn't matter, you were my best friend! But, I couldn't do anything for a while after that. And you needed someone to be there for you, and that couldn't have been me. I was barely there for myself."

Fizz walked closer to Blitzo, "Blitzo…"

"I broke up with you because of that. It was the shittiest thing I could have ever done, especially when you were still recovering. I don't know if you're still mad at me for that, fuck I know I am. Although I'm happy with Stolas, if I could change what happened I-"

"Blitzo," Fizz said, grabbing the regretful imp's arm. This cut him out of his ramblings long enough to allow Fizz to give his response.

"You're good Blitzo; we're good. I forgive you."

"You do?" Blitzo asked, confused.

"I was pretty heartbroken after you left, and a little bit angry. That drove me here to Love to find Asmodeus, ask him what went wrong. I… may have embellished some details while talking to him. Again, I was angry," he said sheepishly, rubbing the back of his head. He dropped his arm, "But then he told me that, sometimes, it just wasn't meant to be. Sure the accident played a role in screwing things up, but we would've found a way past it eventually. The fact we didn't just showed we weren't meant to be together. Not to say there was never any love, it just wasn't with the right person. I've thought about that a lot, and after a while, all that anger and sadness I had eventually… went away."

His arms then snaked around Blitzo's back so he could pull him in for a close hug, which Blitzo didn't reciprocate. "I don't hate you man. Hell, I've missed you. You're my best friend."

Hearing him repeat his words back to him caused Blitzo to tear up. He was so worried he ruined everything between them that day, so to hear him call him friend after all this time was a lot to the imp. He finally hugged him back, happy they reunited. Fizz knew they had a lot to talk about, but that could wait for another day. This wasn't their time, he needed to get Blitzo ready for Stolas. And he knew he had his work cut out for him, since Blitzo was still shaking and he could tell it wasn't because of him this time.

Pulling away from him he looked his friend up and down. "Alright Blitzo, what's eating at you? I know this isn't just about seeing me again."

"It's… it's nothing, I'm good," he lied.

"C'mon, you just opened your freakin' heart out to me. I'm sure it won't kill you to tell me what's making you nervous."

Blitzo forced a small laugh, "Yeah, I don't know what came over me just then…" He paused, noticing Fizz wasn't going to let him go until he told him, then sighed, "Fuck, alright, it's about this thing I wanted to do for Stolas."

"Right, the thing," Fizz said, his tone implying that he should give more details.

Blitzo continued, "Stolas loves romantic shit, he's sat me through so many Hella-novas I nearly felt my eyes bleed. And in each one of them, the main guy would sing a song to the other chick and they would always get together. Always. Despite all the crazy shit that happens in that show it never failed."

Fizz chuckled at his incredulousness towards the plot of an overdramatized show. "So you're going to sing huh? Never took you for a singer."

"Outside of my usual jams I'm not. But one of my employees is, and he gave me a lot of pointers on how to sing the way Stolas would like it. He even allowed me to borrow his guitar for this," he said, pulling it out from his coat.

Fizz crossed his arms and looked at him disbelievingly. He knew Blitzo well enough that that was a lie. When he caught his look, he instantly gave in and shrugged his shoulders. "Ok, so maybe I took it from his apartment while he was sleeping. But he won't miss it; it'll be back before he knows it's gone."

Fizz rolled his eyes, somewhat amused, "Alright, I got it. So what's the problem?"

Blitzo's nervous laughs escalated at the inquiry, then he grabbed Fizz's shoulders roughly and said, "I forgot everything I was going to sing."

Fizz shrank back from his sudden hold on him, causing Blitzo to let him go and fall back into rambling. "I had this whole thing planned out! I stayed up all night writing lyrics that were some of the most romantic shit I've ever thought up. But it's all gone! And I left my lyric sheet at home so I can't remember them, I'm totally fucked! I can't go out there; you know me! I hate making an ass out of myself in public, I prefer doing that in private."

"Blitzo!" Fizz exclaimed to once again stop his ramblings, and he grabbed his shoulders for extra measure. Once he had his attention, Fizz said, "Relax, alright? You don't need lyrics for this. All you need is the guitar, and to speak from the heart."

The silent pause that occurred between them after Fizz's advice was deafening. Slowly, Blitzo's eyes squinted and he looked suspiciously at Fizz. "This… is one of your jokes, isn't it?"

Fizz ignored the question and tried to encourage Blitzo, "Come on, you literally spoke from the heart about our relationship. It's literally the same thing, just do it for Stolas."

"Um, actually," Blitzo said, pushing Fizz's arms away, "it's a completely different thing. That stuff I said had been building up for years, plus I had some drinks earlier that may have contributed to it, I don't know. But as much as I like Stolas I haven't been with him half as long as I've known you. How do I tell him how I feel so soon?"

"You want a couple years of prep time?" Fizz asked jokingly.

Blitzo, however, answered seriously, "Actually that would be nice, yes."

"Blitzo, listen to me," Fizz said with a shake of his head. "You act like you don't know how to express your feelings well, but the truth is you can easily do it. Hell you do it all the time. It's just with love you force yourself to hide away. Well Ozzie's isn't the place for that, and I know you know exactly what to say to him. You didn't shy away when you first asked me out."

Fizz stepped closer to Blitzo, and he could hear him start to breathe heavily from their closeness and his reminder of their time together. "That… that was a long time ago Fizz."

"And yet, you still know how to work your charm, considering you got a Goetia to go with you to Ozzie's. So relax. Just speak from the heart, like you did with me."

Fizz placed a hand on his chest and he could swear he felt Blitzo's heart skip a beat. Blitzo closed his eyes at his touch and he attempted to control his breathing. After a few seconds, he had calmed himself down and he opened his eyes again to Fizz's expectant look. He gave him a nod.

"From the heart… guess it's worth a shot. Thanks Fizz."

"No problem," he said, pulling his hand back. Raising it up to his face he pulled the sleeve on his arm back to look at a watch underneath. "Alright, now that you got your pep talk, it's time to get out there."

As soon as he said that, the color drained from Blitzo's face. "Now?! Wait, I need more time."

Fizz looked behind him towards the stage and he could see fog creeping into the backstage area. He clicked his tongue and looked back at Blitzo, "Sorry, no can do. Fog machine is on and those things don't pump out clouds forever. Plus the cotton candy smell makes people sick if it's left on too long."

He hooked an arm under Blitzo's and led him behind the walkway. Like Asmodeus said, the view of the audience was completely blocked. The only visible thing in sight was the brightly lit stage. Fizz gave one last look to Blitzo, hoping to calm him down.

"Alright, all you have to do is walk down the runway once I start the announcement and stop at the main stage in front. When I say your name the lights will come on and that'll be your moment to say your piece." He unhooked his arm and walked into the fog, "Remember, from the heart! I'm rooting for you man!"

As soon as he left the fog and spotted Asmodeus's viewing balcony, he stretched his arms up to it and pulled himself back into the space. He was sitting in his seat waiting for him.

"So, how'd it go?" Asmodeus asked him.

Fizz bobbed his head side-to-side, "Well, good and bad. Good catching up with him, but we may have a problem."

Asmodeus's heads looked at him questioningly, "Problem?"

"Yeah, guy's nervous as all hell. Hoping for the best, but you better keep an eye on him out there."

Asmodeus got up from his seat and joined Fizz by the balcony ledge, "Alright, I'll do that. Well let's get this show started then."

Fizz smiled and produced a microphone from within his outfit. Putting it up to his mouth, he began his introduction. "Hello lovely guests of Ozzie's, I hope your day has been sweet as honey so far, because it's about to get sweeter. We have an announcement of love coming up, a special surprise for a very special person. So please, join your hands together as we hear a confession of love," he paused for dramatic effect, "to Stolas from Blitzo!"

As soon as he said his name, the spotlights shined dazzling pink lights onto the stage, clearing out the fog and presenting Blitzo in all his nervous glory. From their view on the balcony, they could see Stolas shoot up from his seat in surprise while the club bursted in applause. Fizz laid down on the railing, keeping his eyes on Blitzo as the applause died down. Once the building was quiet again, Blitzo stepped up to the mic with the guitar in hand.

"Stolas," he stuttered, "I um, fuck, I a… wrote this song for you. It's… it's not the best but, I tried so I um, hope you like it…"

With that, one hand grasped the neck of the guitar while the other strummed the strings. The trouble became immediately apparent. As his fingers slashed across the strings the notes that flowed out sounded all wrong, as if he had never touched an instrument before this moment. This only made Blitzo more self-conscious, as was apparent to Fizz, and the words he spoke into the mic carried no rhythm or rhyme.

"Stolas you're the… coolest guy. If you were gone, I'd be… really sad. But when you're here I'm… fuck what's wrong with this guitar…"

The audience were being as polite as demons could be, at least under the rules set by Ozzie's. Meaning most had their hands over their ears and their eyes closed, while some others stepped outside for air. Asmodeus's eyes were wide at the display. "Oh dear you weren't kidding. This poor soul is going to melt on the stage if he sweats any more. I don't even need to mention his performance, and Stolas is seeing all this… we're going to have to give him a little encouragement Fizzy. Preferably before he vacates my entire club."

Fizz looked up to see Asmodeus extend a hand down to him. With a smile he hopped on it. "After you, my king."

Placing him up on his shoulder, Asmodeus leaped from the balcony onto the stage behind Blitzo. When he slammed down it caused Blitzo to pause his torturous song and turn around. Stolas's face morphed to one of concern, while the patrons that still remained inside let out an audible gasp. He rarely stepped out from his perch above the club, so if he was on stage they knew there was a good reason for it.

Nothing was said for a few seconds, Asmodeus held a hand up to his face as if he were inspecting his nonexistent nails. Then a new beat kicked in from seemingly nowhere as music swept through the building from invisible instruments. Hearing this, Asmodeus looked down and addressed the nervous imp below him, with Fizz chiming in occasionally with his own comments.

You having some trouble there, lovebird?
We think it's time for us to have a little word
I know a thing or two about doing this dance
Your demon host, Asmodeus, embodiment of romance!

Just take one chance
Show him romance
It lies deep in your heart
Life's too short to stay apart
In this world of broken hearts

Little imp, it's obvious why you came here today
This relationship you want is slipping away
Well, don't worry we're about to change all that around
We're not gonna leave you yearning so sit your butt down!
You wanna walk around wondering what could be?
Or do you wanna tell him how you feel, the future you see?
Just sing about that clear-cut connection
The cuddling! The loving! The apparent affection!

So just take one chance
Show him romance
It lies deep in your heart
Little imp, don't just part
Don't leave here with a broken heart

Come on sing us your song!
Make sure your point doesn't take too long
Make it sweet and tasteful like wine
Be sure to rhyme "mine" and "divine"
Go ahead, it's your time

Blitzo was twisted around to face the microphone again. With their insistence, and the eyes of Stolas and the whole club on him, he tried to sing again. "I... I really… really like hanging out with you…"

He felt so close to saying something, but once again he lost heart. But Asmodeus wasn't about to give up on him that easily. Leaning down next to him he expressed more impassioned lines of motivation.

C'mon, I see passion inside
There's no need for you to hide
Tell him your feelings and open your heart wide

Blitzo felt Asmodeus's hand on his shoulder and noticed Fizz standing beside him. When he looked at him, Fizz simply placed his hand on his chest, a reminder of what he told him to do before he stepped on stage. Turning from him he looked at Stolas still in his seat. He was looking at him expectantly, waiting on him to say what he had been trying and failing to say for the past five minutes. In that moment, as he gripped the guitar with renewed strength, he finally figured out how to tell Stolas what had been on his mind.

"Stolas…" His voice drifted off as his hand strummed the strings again, this time finding a rhythm that carried a beautiful sound around the room. "Stolas…"

Stolas, I want you
There's just no other way to say
how much I need you every day
You make my soul burn like the brightest flame
We were meant to be!
You are absolutely divine
And I'm asking that you'd be mine
I can only hope that you feel the same
A lot is riding on this chance
This is my song of pure romance
Stolas, I love you, I love you, I love you, I love you, I-

His song was paused yet again, but this time it wasn't due to a lack of will. Stolas had walked up to meet him on stage and grabbed his arm, stopping him from playing the guitar. Blitzo's head tilted up so he could look at the man he had been serenading, and he stared down at him with eyes as big as saucers. The entire room was quiet once more, as the audience, Fizz, and Asmodeus looked on to see the response. Not a single movement was made, the few seconds that ticked by felt like hours with the growing tension.

Slowly, Stolas's hand moved up to grab the guitar. Silently, he pulled it out of Blitzo's hands and threw it off the stage. Then, just as quickly, he picked him up and pulled him close, kissing him hard on the lips. This surprised Blitzo at first, but he immediately gave into the loving embrace and kissed him back. With that, the tension was cleared and the room once again exploded into applause. People stood up from their seats to congratulate the new couple, as well as Asmodeus and Fizz's rousing performance that led to this result.

While they got lost in each other's embrace, Asmodeus and Fizz turned their attention away from them and towards each other.

"Looks like another match made in Hell, all thanks to you Ozzie," Fizz bowed.

Asmodeus chuckled and picked up Fizz, "Thanks to us Fizzy, you were just as important in making this happen." His other hand came over to pet Fizz, eliciting a blush from the imp.

Smiling, Asmodeus tucked him into his chest and cradled him. "Now why don't we leave these two alone? They'll find their way back to their table eventually. And after all your hard work today, you've earned some attention yourself."

Fizz gave a toothy grin at his suggestion and nodded enthusiastically. Asmodeus carried him away, leaving Blitzo and Stolas in each other's embrace; it would be another ten minutes before they remembered to take their seats. And so ends another successful pairing in the Ring of Love. Only the future can tell how far it will go.
