While the all high and mighty God was busy chillaxing and enjoying his sort-of 'retirement' from his duties regarding running and managing the stresses that his big 'creation' project had brought on him; his right-hand man, Sanjay was growing more and more suspicious of what was going on in that lone Department of Answered Prayers.

For weeks now he neither saw nor heard of any angel coming or going- he did manage to catch a glimpse of a scraggly looking angel slunk out of that dwelling once, but, turns out that he just was hunting for a bite to eat plus he managed to get away with housing a few hundred little travel-sized packages of mustered.

The angel, by the name of Craig, was known around heaven as a bit of a recluse and sort of a hermit- for as far as Sanjay was concerned, he was a bit of a nobody otherwise, kept to himself a lot of the time, rarely came out of his little 'cave' during the day, and when he did manage to do so he always had that same dark-brown tattered cloak on around him that covered his head... and if that wasn't eerie enough; the few times Sanjay pasted that department, the lights were either always dimmed or they were turned off completely.

... and if that was shocking enough, Sanjay heard that a new transfer angel all the way from the Department of Dirt would be starting there fairly soon- he could only hope and pray that the new transfer wouldn't get sucked into the current 'hermits' strange and bizarre ways.

Once everyone was asleep, Sanjay placed his plan into action; slinking out of God's living quarters and over to where the department's door was- he gently poked his head up and looked in the small window in the middle of the big cast-iron steel door. Craig the hermit was sound asleep at his old-timey looking desktop computer, his head on the desk that the keyboard was on as well, Sanjay gently went about opening the door... to his horror, however, he heard an all to familiar and horrifyingly loud creek sound emulating from the door. it echoed off the walls, as Sanjay held his breath hoping the Craig bog hadn't heard, unfortunately though, he had. Sanjay stood motionless as Craig jolted awake with a start.

Looking around the room, his eyes still glossed-over and ached in groggy sleepiness that it took a little for his eyes to adjust to his surroundings.

"Hello, stranger" he slurrily greeted the grey-ish somewhat sadiki dark silhouette of a blob that stood back slunk cowardly in a corner.

"Ummm... hello Craig, long time no see" Sanjay replied, putting up a chair.

"S- Sanjay..." Craig replied, once his vision came to. "Wh- what brings you here?"

"Oh, just wanted to see what you were up to, I guess, heard you got a resent transfer from the ground floor- how's that working out for you?"

"Well... we don't see eye to eye, that's for sure"

"Ah," he nodded. "Well if you ever need help with anything- I'm your man"

"Thanks, Sanjay,"

"Yes, well... I'd better be going before God realizes I'm gone and sends out a search party"

"Mkay, bye Sanjay"

"Bye Craig" they shared a wave before Sanjay headed out the door. What do I have to be suspicious about? Craig's fine, and anyway... he knows that I'm always there if he needs me.
