It has been three days since we freed Riverclan but that came at a price of Graypool's life. Just five after we derailed that train and we were outside of Paris itself.

"We are the first ones to reach the city and one step away from freeing everything within Paris itself. We need to take out the Shadowclan garrison there as they came for everyone, including Oakheart." Mistyfoot described the situation that was currently happening. Bluestar looked at Mistyfoot and began speaking.

"We need the explosives and you will blast your way in? We've set up a contact that is wavering in Shadowclan's lines and is part of the garrison of Paris. You must make the switch." Bluestar told Mistyfoot of the overall plan. Onewhisker came forward next.

"Using the documents that we've captured from the train, me and Mistyfoot will pose as Shadowclan officers to tell the officer that he will be sent to Berlin. When we blow the gates, that's your signal to advance." Onewhisker explained his plan of infiltration on how they were going to move in and take over the garrison.

"Everything we have fought for will be decided on this one night. We need to enter the wolf's den." Mistyfoot mewed. She turned away to get herself ready while the others turned and walked off.

"These Krauts aren't going to give up so easily." Ashpaw mewed about the plan's feasibility.

"I mean if we can survive Bluestar, we can survive anything." Cloudpaw reassured Cloudpaw that everything will be alright. Onewhisker looked at the apprentices.

"Hey I fought with Bluestar in Kasserine Pass, we sacked their general and replaced him with Patton. We can survive anything." Onewhisker told them. They walked away to get ready for the infiltration operation.

Tawnyfur was busy escorting Onewhisker and Mistyfoot to the checkpoint and the building they were going to be infiltrating and getting their objectives done.

"One more checkpoint." Tawnyfur reminded them as they were driving in the drizzling rain. Onewhisker looked around before he saw Shadowclan cats shoving Riverclan cats out of his way.

"Shadowclan thugs." Onewhisker hissed quietly in disgust. The Shadowclan cats cleared the way and waved impatiently to allow the car through. Tawnyfur slowly drove through before she reminded Onewhisker.

"We're going, we're going." Tawnyfur whispered to them while she slowly drove on. Onewhisker turned his head to Mistyfoot as he wanted to go over the details about it. Mistyfoot was holding a small knife disguised as a pen.

"This nightmare will be over." She mewed before she placed the knife away.

"Remember if you're stopped, your plan must be iron-clad strong. Let's go over it one last time." Onewhisker began as he slipped some papers to Mistyfoot. "Your name is Foggaze, you've been sent as an attache to meet a cat named Snakeeye who is on the third floor of a garrison building for his safe return trip to Berlin. Read over the attache one last time." Mistyfoot began reading the papers as she had to remember the name of her fake identity. "This is our chance, recruiting that She-cat came at a terrible price, your contact name is Littlecloud he will hopefully have the explosives from the basement we need to blow the gates."

"You shouldn't be worrying so much Onewhisker." Mistyfoot told him.

"I'm just doing my job." Onewhisker replied with a small smile, the car then stopped as Tawnyfur gave the instructions.

"I'll meet with you two here at the gate when the operation is finished." Tawnyfur mewed as they had arrived at their destination. Onewhisker and Mistyfoot got out as they walked along to the front door. They decided to cover the story one last time.

"Remember, who sent you here?" Onewhisker asked Mistyfoot if she remembered the name.

"Whiteleap." Mistyfoot replied if the name was correct.

"Good. Whatever happens, once you make the trade, maintain the briefcase with you at all times." Onewhisker instructed her. He handed her the briefcase as it was part of the instructions.

"I've come this far, I'll be sure I will finish it." Mistyfoot replied. Onewhisker nodded with approval as they began to move up the stairs.

August 25th, 1944, Paris, France: 20:42

Mistyfoot and Onewhisker walked to the entrance building as two guards holding shotguns greeted them.

"Papers please." The first guard told them. Mistyfoot and Onewhisker handed their papers over with their fake identities. Once they knew who they were, they stepped aside. "Have a good day." He mewed. Onewhisker and Mistyfoot walked forward as they had one last thing to go over.

"Like I said before, your contact's name is Littlecloud. He said he was going to be in this building tonight. Tell me the pass phrase." Onewhisker whispered to Mistyfoot if she knew the code word.

"Verlaine." Mistyfoot whispered back. She had come so far and there was no point in getting caught. Onewhisker looked at her with a satisfied smile.

"Good luck." Onewhisker replied. He opened the door for Mistyfoot as she walked inside. Onewhisker followed her.

The garrison building was huge and luxurious. Many Shadowclan cats hovered around as they were enjoying their company. They were oblivious to what was going to happen tonight. Onewhisker had split off to mingle with the She-cats at the front desk while Mistyfoot walked further into the building. She was on her own for now. Mistyfoot snuck around as she wanted to keep a straight face and not start a stabbing spree. She huffed, trying to keep herself together. She opened the door and went inside. A Shadowclan cat was busy sorting files as he was enjoying his work. Mistyfoot walked up to him and noticed something loosely clipped around his belt. She fumbled around and took the key that was loosely secured. She began walking away as the Shadowclan cat didn't know he had been robbed.

Mistyfoot walked into another room as she spotted the document. She decided to look it over. The basement was used for relaxation for the Shadowclan cats. The North wing was the war room and the West Wing housed the Shadowclan cats. Mistyfoot looked up to see a Shadowclan cat reading some maps of the current fronts. She wanted to see if this was Littlecloud. The Shadowclan cat turned to greet Mistyfoot.

"Excuse me sir." Mistyfoot began. She wanted to try to work the disguise out to avoid suspicion.

"Ahh… do you need something?" He greeted Mistyfoot with a warm smile.

"I've heard mention of the Autumn song from one of your guards and it's stuck in my head but I don't remember it too well. Can you tell me what it is?" Mistyfoot began as she tried to work the disguise.

"What an odd question. A poem is not relevant to your duties. Can I see your papers please?" He asked Mistyfoot for the papers in a polite manner.

"Sorry, I'm having a poor attempt at a conversation. Here you are." Mistyfoot handed the Shadowclan cat her papers so he could read them over.

"So… your name is Foggaze… where are you originally?" He asked. He handed the papers back to Mistyfoot.

"I grew up in Hamburg." Mistyfoot lied as she gave Foggaze's birth place.

"Ah Hamburg. The Elbe river is beautiful in the spring with the flower petals floating down the river. Now I must get back to my work. It was nice chatting with you." He mewed. He needed to get back to work.

"Wait before I head off. Do you know where Littlecloud is?" Mistyfoot asked as she wanted his location.

"He said he was going into the basement to play cards. I bet that will be much help." He mewed. Grateful for the information. Mistyfoot nodded as began to walk away.

"Have a nice day." She mewed. The Shadowclan cat waved goodbye before he turned and continued to study the map.

Mistyfoot made her way to the doors that would be leading into the basement. The gate was locked as it was going to be off limits to anyone going down. Mistyfoot got out the key she had and placed it into the lock, she hoped that the door was going to unlock and much to her surprise, it did. The gate slid open as Mistyfoot went down into the basement. Mistyfoot made her way into the basement to take a look around. A Riverclan she-cat was dragged into another room as Mistyfoot knew she had to contend with her. First she went to one of the cages where a Riverclan tom was being held captive. She walked over to the cage and she began to unlock the door with the key.

"Thank you miss." The Riverclan tom mewed.

"Shh, not so loud, our friends are coming. Vive la resistance." Mistyfoot whispered. She ordered the tom to stay out of sight while she moved into another room. Mistyfoot opened the door to see a Riverclan She-cat and a Shadowclan tom being rowdy. Mistyfoot knew the She-cat was in trouble.

"Leave! This is none of your business!" He shouted. Mistyfoot ignored him before she walked into the room.

"It's your business no more." Mistyfoot replied. She got out the knife from the pen holster and was ready to attack. The Shadowclan tom knew what was happening and braced himself for a fight. Mistyfoot lunged at the Shadowclan cat as he grabbed her, the two of them tried to wrestle off the other in an attempt to save their own lives. Mistyfoot jabbed the pen knife into the Shadowclan cat's front leg as he knocked her to the ground in rage. Mistyfoot pulled the knife out and stabbed him in the throat. Blood leaked over the She-cat in droplets as he was choking away. Mistyfoot pushed him off of her from this messy affair and got up.

"What is this?" The female Riverclan cat asked.

"Stay out of sight, your friends are coming." Mistyfoot instructed as she put the knife away.

"Vive la Resistance." The She-cat responded. Mistyfoot nodded. She walked back out into the basement and walked up to find some assistance on where to find Littlecloud. She could've sworn he was down here. A Shadowclan cat was having a bit of a drink.

"Good evening." Mistyfoot greeted the cat. He looked up to her as he was figuring out what she wanted.

"What can I do for you. You shouldn't be down here in the cellar as the privates can get rowdy at this time of night." He mewed as he was wondering what Mistyfoot wanted from him.

"I was told that Littlecloud was down here playing cards by another officer I met. Is he anywhere down here?" Mistyfoot asked as she wanted to figure out where Littlecloud's whereabouts were. The tom looked up to Mistyfoot and began speaking to her.

"I'm sorry but he's nowhere down here. He left a couple minutes ago for a meeting." He responded. "He should be on the second floor getting ready."

"Thank you very much." Mistyfoot responded. She turned around and left. Her disguise was covered with splatters of blood and she knew she had to cover it up somehow to avoid suspicion. She made her way to the elevator and pressed the button for the second floor, that was the next spot to look for Littlecloud. The elevator door opened for the second floor as she walked out to find him.

Mistyfoot walked all over the second floor's office. Toms and She-cats were busy working and giving their orders in the garrison. Mistyfoot was fortunate that she wasn't being watched. She continued to walk along before spotting a tom she thought was him. He was hunched over preparing some reports.

"I'm sorry to have bothered you sir." Mistyfoot told him.

"How can I help you?" Littlecloud asked. Mistyfoot wanted to ask if he was the contact.

"Are you Littlecloud?" Mistyfoot asked.

"Yes, that is my name." Littlecloud responded to the question.

"Have you read the works for Verlaine?" Mistyfoot asked. Littlecloud smiled before he gave his answer.

"Yes. The Autumn song is one of my favorites." Littlecloud told Mistyfoot.

"It's one of my favorites as well." Mistyfoot mewed as she was working the disguise.

"This way please." Littlecloud mewed as he gathered his papers and lead the way. Mistyfoot followed him to see what he was going to need from her. The two cats walked along to the room ahead. Littlecloud opened the door ahead. Mistyfoot walked inside with Littlecloud following behind. He then closed the door behind him. Littlecloud had lead Mistyfoot into a dark storage room before turning to her. "We must be brief." He whispered.

"Are you ready to make the exchange?" Mistyfoot asked him if he was ready.

"No, you're early and I'm late for a meeting." Littlecloud responded that he wasn't ready just yet. "I'll have the explosives in a briefcase matching yours. We'll make the swap at the War room."

"Lead the way." Mistyfoot mewed to Littlecloud. Littlecloud wasn't too sure about this.

"No, they're watching me. We can't be together. If you want to get to the war room, go to the third floor and cut your way through the checkpoints by taking the roof. We shouldn't be seen together. Go now I'll meet you in the war room." Littlecloud instructed on how she could reach the War room. Mistyfoot nodded as Littlecloud opened the door for her and she walked out. She knew where she needed to go next. Mistyfoot made her way to the main staircase and made her way to the third floor. She walked out ahead as she came to the office to the leader of the garrison. It read Tigerstar and not Snakeeye. If Tigerstar found her, she would be in big trouble. She turned to a Shadowclan She-cat who was working a typewriter.

"Excuse me, do you know where Tigerstar is?" Mistyfoot asked the She-cat.

"Tigerstar's at a meeting, what do you need him for?" She asked.

"Nothing, I just wanted entrance into the office." Mistyfoot replied.

"His door is open, you can enter the place and stoke the fireplace. He would really appreciate it." She mewed. Mistyfoot nodded as she was grateful that the door was open, she could cut across there to get to where she needed to be. Mistyfoot walked over and opened the door. She walked inside to take a look around.

Tigerstar's office was simple yet gorgeous. It was clear he had spent the past few weeks here while commanding the Shadowclan cats in the area. Mistyfoot looked around as she picked up a picture containing Tigerstar, his wife and their child while he was holding a baseball mitt. She found another picture of him with Goldenflower, Lionheart, Darkstripe and Longtail to name a few. Mistyfoot continued to look around. Two folders containing information were neatly stacked next to the desk lamp. Mistyfoot went to check those out when she heard pawsteps coming to the office. Mistyfoot needed a way out. She looked at the window as she decided to escape through there. Mistyfoot snaked her way out of the window and tried to find somewhere to hide in the drizzling rain, she hoped it would wash the blood off of her disguise. She laid low as Tigerstar, Blackfoot and Sasha entered the office.

"I'm telling you, the Balkans are unstable, the Bears are deploying more forces to Hungary and our Hungarian, Croatian and Slovakian allies are nothing but cannon fodder. We're exposed and those supply trains that were supposed to make it to Warsaw never arrive, we're running out of everything and no amount of Panzerfausts will save the situation." Blackfoot told Tigerstar that the situation was looking desperate.

"So what do you suggest, let the air and land forces dominate while we try defending whatever territory we have left?" Tigerstar asked Blackfoot if he was willing to accept defeat. "Kitler will never accept defeat, we can still pull out a win, all we need is two hundred more tanks and plenty of oil."

"I'm sorry but all of those are in very short supply and we can't recuperate our losses so easily as one cat killed means that that's one less cat fighting for Shadowclan. Shadowclan will be wiped out as there is no one inhabiting it at this rate." Blackfoot expressed his concern that Shadowclan will lose all of its cats by the time this war will be over. "It's best we surrender now while we still can."

"We have to keep fighting, we might launch our attacks on Thunderclan in the winter. Remember Blackfoot, the wolf may be bleeding but Thunderclan has yet to learn that the wolf still has its teeth." Tigerstar responded. "Sasha, continue observing the front lines and tell us where there will be a weak spot where we can strike this winter." Tigerstar ordered. He then looked at his watch before he began to say: "Oh we are going to miss the cuisine as of tonight and we don't want to be late." Tigerstar and the others walked away while Blackfoot closed the window as Tigerstar's office was to stay dry. Once done, they all left the office. Mistyfoot was thankful that she hadn't been discovered and began to walk along the roof in the drizzling rain. She held her briefcase though she was starting to get soaked. She walked into another room to take shelter and regather her thoughts. Once those thoughts have been gathered. She walked out. Several cats were playing billiards in the room ahead of her. They then left the game unfinished as they heard they were needed elsewhere. Once they were gone. Mistyfoot opened the window and stepped inside.

"Well it was foolish to leave this game unfinished." Mistyfoot muttered to herself. She grabbed the white ball and rolled it along the table as fast as she could. The white ball slammed into the eight ball, sending it flying across the table. It landed in a small hole ahead of her as she managed to finish the game. She walked off as she was going to find the war room. Mistyfoot then entered the war room and was ready to make the exchange. A reel of footage was playing, demonstrating Shadowclan's earlier successes as the meeting was about to start. She spotted Littlecloud sitting by. "Sir those reports you wanted just came from Berlin." Mistyfoot told Littlecloud about the reports.

"Thank you, I will attend to them at this very moment." Littlecloud replied. He then turned and spotted several Shadowclan cats pointing at the room believing they found what seemed to be an impostor. Littlecloud turned back to Mistyfoot. "Leave now."

"Very good sir." Mistyfoot replied before she grabbed the briefcase containing the explosives and hastily made her departure. The door opened to several Shadowclan cats pointing to Littlecloud.

"Seize that spy!" One of the Shadowclan cats shouted while pointing at Littlecloud.

"What is the meaning about this?" Littlecloud asked the Shadowclan cats what they wanted.

"You were the last one in the storage room right were the explosives were. You were the last one seen!" The Shadowclan cat responded. Mistyfoot picked up her pace as she continued to walk away. She didn't want to seem suspicious.

"This is absurd." Littlecloud replied.

"No matter. EVERYONE! SHOW YOUR PAPERS!" The Shadowclan cat shouted as he wanted to see everyone's papers to make sure everyone had the right information. Mistyfoot climbed back down the stairs as she wanted to get this mission done as fast as she could.

Mistyfoot was walking down the hallway with the briefcase. The headquarters were antsy and were now on high alert. Two Shadowclan cats blocked her path.

"Halt, give me your papers." The Shadowclan cat called out to Mistyfoot. Mistyfoot handed him the papers while he read them over. He then handed them back to her. "Is that blood on your sleeve?" He asked.

"Ink I'm afraid, it's one of those days." Mistyfoot awkwardly responded as she wanted to give off the impression she got squirted with red ink. the Shadowclan cat pointed to the table.

"Put your briefcase on the table for inspection." He instructed her. Mistyfoot didn't want to know about this and wanted him out of her way. She didn't want to be found out.

"I'm late for a very important meeting." Mistyfoot told the Shadowclan cat.

"Fraulein! Your briefcase now!" The Shadowclan cat shouted, waving his MP40, he was going to shoot her as Mistyfoot backed away. The second Shadowclan cat who was Onewhisker came up, placed his paw around the Shadowclan cat's neck and stabbed him to death with the knife he had. Onehwisker began dragging the body back into the adjacent room.

"You never seem to disappoint." Mistyfoot began.

"We've been compromised. The whole bloody place is on high alert." Onewhisker addressed the mission was going downhill.

"They've captured our contact." Mistyfoot told Onewhisker.

"Tell me you made the switch?" Onewhisker mewed.

"Yes I have the explosives." Mistyfoot responded.

"Then, we're staying on mission. We'll rendezvous in the courtyard after you plant the charges." Onewhisker instructed. The Shadowclan cats had the searchlight out forcing Mistyfoot to stick to the shadow's. She knew that she couldn't be noticed.

"We have to be very quiet." Mistyfoot muttered to herself pulling out a silenced Welrod pistol. Mistyfoot nudged herself onto the ledge as she knew that they needed to be silent to plant the explosives right under their noses. Onewhisker gave her several magazines of ammo she could use to pull this off. Mistyfoot waited as a Shadowclan cat came within shooting range where a kill was guaranteed. Mistyfoot raised the silence pistol and fired. The first Shadowclan cat fell with a shot into his skull. Mistyfoot moved back onto the balcony as she was going to get closer to the next target to avoid getting noticed. She cocked the bolt to ready another shot up, pointed the Welrod up and fired, taking out another Shadowclan cat with a shot to the head. Mistyfoot knew they had been dealt with and decided to slip down into the courtyard. Mistyfoot spotted another Shadowclan cat, prepared the bullet into the pistol, raised it up and fired, taking out that cat as well.

Mistyfoot slipped her way through the shadows as she heard a voice calling for help. She opened the window to see what was going on.

"I don't know what you're talking about!" Littlecloud whined. Mistyfoot prepared her Welrod to fire another shot. "I did nothing wrong!" Mistyfoot crept in while a Shadowclan cat was prodding Littlecloud with his MP40. Mistyfoot raised the pistol into the back of the head, killing the Shadowclan cat. She went over to Littlecloud after preparing the pistol to fire another shot. "Thank you. I'll be here if you run into trouble." Littlecloud mewed as Mistyfoot freed him. She undid the lock as his paws were now free once again.

Mistyfoot crept her way around to avoid the Shadowclan cats if they were needed. She slipped off to one of the gates and spotted a Shadowclan cat guarding the truck. Realizing he wasn't going anywhere. Mistyfoot pulled out the pen knife she had, crept up behind him and placed her paw over his mouth before quickly jabbing the knife into his throat, killing him. Mistyfoot opened the briefcase before getting out one of the explosives. She sets the timer on it before sticking it to the first door. Mistyfoot closed the briefcase up as there was still one more to do.

"Just one more…" Mistyfoot muttered to herself as she tried her best to be quiet. One gate had been prepared and it was time for the other one. She walked off to the northern gate.

Onewhisker and Littlecloud were going off on killing sprees of their own to assist Mistyfoot although they had to remain quiet. Mistyfoot crept along the shadows to avoid getting spotted. She got up on some junk and climbed up, they were preparing to fortify this building in particular but this made excellent climbing ground for Mistyfoot. She reached the top and crept her way along the balcony. She spotted another Shadowclan cat partially camouflaged in the night. At least the rain stopped. Mistyfoot crept up to him and sliced his throat open with the pen knife. Mistyfoot decided to move on from there.

Mistyfoot tumbled off the balcony as she continued to creep her way around the area to get to the next gate. More climbing junk for her to try to scope out. Mistyfoot began climbing up onto the junk as she wanted to silently make her way to the other gate. Climbing on some of the roof. She came close to being spotted, she recoiled back and gathered her thoughts and crept on through. Mistyfoot spotted the same cat again and raised her prepared Welrod and fired. The Shadowclan cat had been taken out with another shot to the head. Mistyfoot slid down the roof as she knew she was very close to finishing her job. She walked over and found another Shadowclan cat, she prepared her Welrod and fired, the next Shadowclan cat had been killed. Mistyfoot made her way outside spotting a Shadowclan cat to her right. She slowly crept around in front of the truck before she spotted the second gate, she made sure no one was around before opening her briefcase. She got out the last of the explosives and attached them to the gate.

"Now it's up to you and your team Fireheart." Mistyfoot muttered. Her job was done and now Fireheart needed to finish the rest.

Fireheart and his group were waiting around for the explosives to go off. They were getting impatient from this and demanded they were to move in at that very moment.

"They're late." Cloudpaw muttered as he was looking at his watch. "We should go now." Cloudpaw told Bluestar that they needed to move out now if they were going to reach the garrison.

"No, hold your fire until they blow the gates. Get ready." Bluestar told them. Then the gates exploded from the distance as it was their signal to move. "That's the signal, let's move." Bluestar told the group. The others got up from their positions as they had taken the Shadowclan cats by surprise. Cloudpaw raised his M1 Garand and began firing away at the Shadowclan cats.

"Yeah!" Ashpaw called out with excitement. Suddenly a Shadowclan jeep drove down the street only to be lit by Molotov cocktails. The Thunderclan cats looked above to see that the Riverclan Resistance was aiding them.

"Leave forever!" One of the Riverclan she-cats shouted. Fireheart nodded while firing his Carbine.

"We got to hurry to the garrison, those Shadowclan cats aren't going down without a fight." Fireheart told them. They began to run to the Garrison while being supported by Riverclan resistance fighters.

"That Garrison can't hold without us." Bluestar told the group. She sprayed her M1A1 Thompson around in an effort to cover fire while they continued to race to the garrison. They came to a corner in the street as they continued to pour fire onto their targets.

"Count on us we're going to be the first ones in." Brightpaw called out with excitement. She raised herself and shot down an incoming Shadowclan jeep with her Carbine.

"Spot on!" Whitestorm called out. They continued down the street as automatic fire began to pour onto them as they got to the bridge.

"Machine gun, take it out." Graystripe called out. Fireheart turned to his friend's defense and shot the machine gunner dead.

"Taken care of." Fireheart remarked with a smug look then shots rang out from above.

"Sniper, second floor of the garrison." Bluestar called out. Longtail took his aim at the Garrison where the sniper was and fired. The sniper fell out of the building as Cloudpaw crawled up to his uncle.

"We're getting close, we should move in." Cloudpaw told Fireheart.

"Yeah but it's up to the apprentices to secure the second floor." Fireheart told Bluestar that the apprentices were going to have to go up the stairs to get that second floor secured. Cloudpaw picked up an FG42 while slinging the M1 Garand over his back.

"Make your way to the garrison!" Cloudpaw shouted. He began firing away with the automatic Paratrooper rifle. He motioned Brightpaw, Fireheart, Ashpaw and Fernpaw to follow him. They nodded while Dawnpaw went after them. "Let's go let's go!" Cloudpaw called out while firing small bursts to the Shadowclan cats. They had been cut down along the way while they made their way to the garrison. Bluestar followed while leading the others to secure their section of the street.

"They must be in here." Fireheart told the group. They turned and went inside of the Garrison to see Windclan had got there first and were setting up defensive positions.

"Onewhisker." Cloudpaw called out. Onewhisker and Mistyfoot looked at Fireheart with relief.

"The garrison is almost clear." Onewhisker began.

"But it's not over yet." Mistyfoot added on.

"Krauts are preparing to counter attack and we need to establish our defenses. Let's go." Onewhisker told them that they knew the counter attack was imminent so they needed to prepare. Cloudpaw slung the FG42 over his back before making his way to the entrance. Onewhisker pushed the body of a dead Shadowclan cat and picked up an M1897 Trench gun. "Shadowclan's still inside, we need to clear them out so we can prepare our defenses." Onewhisker instructed the group. He handed Cloudpaw the shotgun while Mistyfoot pulled out a smoke grenade and threw it into the building, the glass shattered as Cloudpaw braced himself with the shotgun. Ashpaw nodded before he went up to the door and kicked it in with his paw. They stormed inside.

The Shadowclan cats had their minds paralyzed from the smoke so they were coughing, unable to hold their guns up to fire. Cloudpaw went up to one of them and… bang! Cloudpaw had scattered the guts of the cat before pumping the shotgun. He turned to see another cat and fired. Pumping the shotgun again, he felt good about himself. Fireheart noticed the smoke clearing up and the fact that several shadowclan cats were dead on the floor.

"Room cleared." Fireheart told the group. The others gathered around as Fireheart began laying out instructions. Cloudpaw, you take Ashpaw, Brightpaw, Fernpaw, Gorsepaw and Dawnpaw to secure the second floor. We'll stay down here and clear this one." Fireheart instructed.

"All cats follow me." Cloudpaw called his friends. He began to make his way up to the second floor as the warriors were going to sweep the floor clean. They then got to the door as Cloudpaw raised the shotgun and blew the lock off of it. He kicked the door in and pumped the shotgun. Two shadowclan cats fired back as the apprentices began to clear the second floor. Cloudpaw raised the shotgun and fired. Another Shadowclan cat down. Another one tried to fire at Brightpaw with a pistol but Cloudpaw got close and blew its face open. He ejected the last spent casing of the shotgun. The remaining Shadowclan cats in the room threw their paws up. "Keep them up where I want to see them!" Cloudpaw shouted while the rest of the cats secured the prisoners. Mistyfoot and Onewhisker came up to see the prisoners.

"We'll take the prisoners for you, just set up defenses for the counter attack." Mistyfoot told the apprentices. The apprentices nodded as the three remaining shadowclan cats were escorted away. Cloudpaw placed the shotgun down and grabbed the FG42.

"Don't know if this will be enough to hold them off?" Cloudpaw asked.

"With a paratrooper rifle, no. We need to find an Mg34 around here somewhere." Gorsepaw told Cloudpaw that they needed to find a better machine gun.

"I only got one magazine after this," Cloudpaw mewed before he slung the shotgun over his back. He got out the M1 Garand as he was going to be using that as he had a few rounds left in it. Brightpaw came back with an Mg34 and Fernpaw a belt of ammunition. Ashpaw got out a few bottles of molotov cocktails as they were going to be their personal defense weapons. Dawnpaw reloaded her sniper rifle.

"We use the Molotovs when Shadowclan gets close. The whole city's fighting back and we're almost there." Ashpaw instructed them. Brightpaw pushed the Mg34 bipod out while Gorsepaw loaded the machine gun up.

"Feed my gun Gorsepaw. We're holding this position." Brightpaw told the group. The Thunderclan cats got into position while the cats got ready to fight with the Riverclan resistance. Nobody was going to fire until Dawnpaw took the first shot. Smoke clouds then began to appear on the street.

""They're throwing smoke down the street. Get ready to open fire." Cloudpaw instructed. He braced himself, ready for the counter attack. A jeep was driving down the street as the shadowclan cats were using the smoke for cover. Cloudpaw spotted the jeep before it disappeared into the smoke cloud. "Dawnpaw, aim for the driver." Cloudpaw instructed. Dawnpaw nodded as she raised the rifle. She then fired and killed the cat driving the jeep with a shot to the head. The jeep skidded to a halt as more Shadowclan cats entered the scene. Once the smoke cleared, they had them right where they wanted them to.

"Everyone open fire." Ashpaw instructed, all the cats from the streets and in the buildings opened fire onto the cats charging down the street. "Keep them off the bridge." Ashpaw told the group to keep them clear from the bridge. Cloudpaw fired the FG42 in bursts once again as he wanted to take down as many Shadowclan cats as he could tonight. Brightpaw and Gorsepaw were doing their best to hose down the Shadowclan cats that were massing assaults to get across. A few were getting close so Fernpaw lit one of the molotovs up and chucked them at the Shadowclan cats while Cloudpaw was reloading.

"Nice throw." Dawnpaw told Fernpaw. Fernpaw smiled as they continued firing down the street.

"Sniper in the building across the river." Ashpaw called out. Dawnpaw raised her rifle and quickly found the sniper. She fired and took him out. The others were fighting hard as Cloudpaw slung the FG42 over his back and grabbed the M1 Garand to use whatever ammunition was left.

"Halftrack incoming." Brightpaw called out. The Halftrack was going to break through and mow down the cats in the street. Cloudpaw raised the M1 Garand and fired a single round into the gunner's helmet. The gunner of the Halftrack was taken out while the others continued firing away. The Shadowclan cats knew this wasn't working so they resorted to using their Panzerfausts.

"Panzerfausts incoming!" Fernpaw shouted, two Panzerfausts were fired as this knocked the cats in the area off balance. This also had the intent with lighting all the molotov cocktails on fire as they were rendered a loss. The fire was now eating up the garrison building as the cats began to jump out of the building. Cloudpaw was staggering to his paws while Brightpaw carried Cloudpaw's guns.

"We have to get out of here!" Ashpaw calls out. He then jumps out of the building with Brightpaw. Cloudpaw got up from being dazed as he then tumbled out of the building. Feeling weak. He began to crawl forward as another Halftrack was coming. "Halftrack incoming!" Ashpaw told him. Fernpaw helped Cloudpaw up and handed him a Panzerfaust.

"Use the Panzerfaust to destroy the halftrack." Fernpaw told Cloudpaw. Cloudpaw took the Panzerfaust and aimed for the halftrack while Fernpaw set it up for him. Cloudpaw then fired, the warhead flying into the halftrack and destroying it. The remaining Shadowclan cats began to fall back as any further attacks were hopeless.

"It's over." Brightpaw muttered. They then turned and began to rally with the others while the Riverclan cats celebrated. Onewhisker and Tallstar were talking to Fireheart and Bluestar. Fireheart turned to the apprentices

"Outstanding work Thunderclan! Outstanding!" Fireheart told the clan that he was happy for the fact that they had taken the city and driven Shadowclan out.

"Charles' forces are entering the city." Mistyfoot mewed that Riverclan was entering Paris.

"Looks like I'll have my Champagne and Caviar with a silver spoon." Bluestar mewed to Mistyfoot as Stonefur joined her side.

"Hey Cloudpaw, any single apprentices looking for a handsome tom?" Ashpaw asked if those She-cats were going to be crazy for him.

"Sorry buddy, that was just a morale booster for you." Cloudpaw told Ashpaw that the She-cats wouldn't be crazy for him.

"Oh now he tells me." Ashpaw sarcastically remarked, then several explosions were heard in the distance, the cats got down to see it was just fireworks. Tawnyfur walked up to the crowd and joined them.

"City of lights. Finally something to celebrate, eh Onewhisker?" Tawnyfur asked Onewhisker if there was something to look forward to.

"There's no turning back, Riverclan has reclaimed Paris." Onewhisker mewed while they looked at the fireworks.

"This isn't exactly over yet, the war is not done." Bluestar wasn't so sure that they should be celebrating as of now. The war wasn't finished as of yet and they still had a long way to go.

"Come on, let the Riverclan cats have this." Tallstar mewed to Bluestar to at least have a bit of a celebration. Bluestar turned away as she wasn't happy with just taking Paris.

"That's what Fireheart's here for." Bluestar mewed before she walked away from the scene. Cloudpaw looked up to see the fireworks lighting up the sky.

Taking Paris is something that we'll never forget. I might have even seen Bluestar smile. We're going to ride this momentum all the way into Shadowclan. However we were dead wrong.

[A/N]: Sorry for the delay, I did a side project first and then I ended up getting sick but I've quickly recovered from it and tried getting this done as fast as possible as I want to get this done by mid-February. Hopefully I don't get too distracted and keep doing this.
