I don't own any of this Loud House belongs to Nickelodeon.

It took a week of pure concentration, sweat, and many hand cramps. But at last, Lincoln and his friends have finally done it. They had finished their work on the first comic of the new world, sure it took many thoughts and small arguments on where the direction of the story should go. But in the end their hard work is finally finished and they are rewarded with a colorful comic book that has Lincoln in his Ace Savey attire and his friends in their own superhero forms.

Rusty is The Hunk; a superhero with large muscles and a great fanbase that Rusty can only dream of.

Zach is Martian-Boy; a martian that was raised by scientist after finding his egg on a mars mission. They raised him to help humanity and with his large brain he can make all sorts of things with only a few items, he also has the power of telekinesis.

Liam is The Farmer; a once normal boy who after eating a radioactive piece of corn, gain the abilities of super speed, x-ray vision, and the ability to talk to animals.

Stella is Fly-Girl; the daughter of the Fly, who after fallowing her father's experiment on teleporting which history had really repeated itself, a fly has gotten in the teleporter as it was about to turn on. After the teleportation the fly's DNA mixes with her's and made her into what she was today. A half girl, half fly being who can shrink herself at well, fly, stick on surfaces, and spit out acid.

And although Clyde wasn't here with them, Lincoln put in his character anyway as you couldn't have Ace Savey without his trusted partner; One-Eye Jack. It's like having Tom and Jerry with no Jerry, Batman and Robin with no Robin, or Scooby Doo with no Shaggy. The point is the classic duo needed to be together no matter what.

The comic's title is called, "The New Adventures of Ace Savey!" The story is about Ace and Jack meeting up with Stella's, Rusty's, Liam's, and Zach's superhero personas and learning to be a team in order take down the evil Dr. Ren and his army of robots.

"Oh boy! Are comic is finally finish!" Liam exclaimed in excitement.

Zach rubs his sore hand as it is still in the grip of a killer hand cramp. "That was tough work, my pencil is utterly up to the eraser by now."

Rusty meanwhile looked at his superhero self in admiration, he had to admit his drawn-self looked great! Now if only he had those muscles in real life, then things would be a lot more different for him.

"You planning on taking a picture Rusty?" Stella called out. Rusty looked around in surprise as he got out of his gaze. "Huh? What?"

Stella smirked at him. "You were looking at your own drawing for so long, you might as well get a camera and take a picture of it. Or frame it on the wall at the very least."

"Come on, you gotta admit that he's really buff. He's so strong that he could lift up a mountain with one finger." Rusty defended.

"What exactly is his origin again?" Zach asked.

"You know the usual, he gets hit by toxic waste, then after two days he awakes with those strong muscles." Rusty replied.

"And his weakness is?"

"Amethyst gems."

Zach thought about it, it's a reasonable weakness as it's not the first time a superhero's weakness is a gem of some sort.

"Anyway guys." Lincoln called out in order to defuse a upcoming argument that might come out from this. "We finished with the comic, now we can copy it and read it together before deciding to share our comic to the others."

"Lincoln's right. Let's get copying!" Stella stated in excitement.

Lincoln grabbed the comic book and he along with his friends raced out of the Art's and Crafts room, down the hallway where they dodged people, when they got to a corner Lincoln had to suddenly screeched to a stop as Luna and Sam suddenly appeared.

Lincoln's sudden stop caused his friends to bump into him, the bump from them caused him to let go of his comic which landed right next to Sam's foot.

"Whoa!" Luna exclaimed in surprise from the near collision they almost had. "Where's the fire bro?"

"Sorry Luna, we were just on our way to copy the comic book we've been working on." Lincoln explained.

"Oh, you finally finished it?" Luna question, for Lincoln had been mentioning about it for a while now. She found it nice that her little bro was creating something that he enjoyed during these dark times.

Sam picked up the comic and looked at it very impressed. "This looks very great. Luna take a look at it." Sam hands the comic over to her, Luna inspected the cover first, then flipped through several pages.

Lincoln watched in a bit of nervousness, he knew that his sister wasn't much of a comic book fan, so it made him anxious on what she might think of it.

Luna looked through several more pages, she then closed it and handed it back to her brother. "It's a good comic bro."

Lincoln perks up from the compliment. "Really?" Luna playfully noogies his head with a chill smile. "Yeah little bro, you gotta share that rad comic to the rest of the Sanctuary."

"I will." Lincoln turned to address his friends. "Come on guys! We got a comic to copy." They quickly rushed passed the two rocker girls and disappeared around the corner, Luna smiled proudly with her hands on her hips.

"That's my bro, always looking for something to entertain himself and others." She stated in pride.

"Yeah" Sam said lowly, she then sadly looked down as the thought of Simon crossed her mind. "Must be nice to have such a brother."

Luna smacked herself on the forehead, she just had to remind Sam that she no longer has a little bro. "Nice going Luna, you bonehead!" Quickly Luna places a comforting hand on Sam's shoulder. "I'm so sorry Sam, I didn't mean to."

"It's alright Luna, it's just that seeing you being so supportive of your brother and his comic." Sam sighed, "It made me think of the times I supported Simon." Sam's frown went deeper. "I wish he was here."

"At least he isn't suffering through this like the rest of us." Luna said softly.

"True, but still I really miss the little guy. I remember last Christmas when he got that new game he really wanted." Sam let's out a chuckle upon remembering that day. "I swear, he was bouncing like a jellybean."

Luna smiled as she could already see that happy scene during that Christmas day in the Sharp household. "You know, he may not be here in person, but the memories you have with him will always be with you."

Sam wiped away some tears from her eyes, she turned to Luna with a cheeky smile. "Are you being cheesey to make me feel better?"

Luna gave her girlfriend her own cheeky smile. "Did it work?"

"A little bit." Sam suddenly pulled Luna into a hug. Taken by complete surprise, Luna blushed as red as a tomato with her arms hanging open, she soon wraps her arms around Sam and closed her eyes as the warm hug envelope her.

The hug soon ends, leaving the two to look at each other in the eyes. "Wanna try again in the band room?" Sam asked.

Luna smiled warmly as it has been quite some time since they last been there. "You know it dude."

With hands holding each other tightly, the couple walked off towards the band room.

"Alright here it comes guys!" Lincoln informed his friends excitedly.

The copy machine's top glowed left to right as it copied the comic that Lincoln had placed in earlier. From the side four copies of the comic came out neatly, the machine turns off and the kids grabbed the copies while Lincoln grabbed the original from the top.

Holding the comic in his hand, Lincoln looked proudly to his friends who proudly looked down at their own copies. "Well guys let's find somewhere nice and quiet, and read the first comic."

"Oh, there you are Linc."

Turning to the door, Lincoln saw Luan entering the room with a yellow piece of paper in her hand. "What's up Luan?"

"Well Lincoln, as you know I'm planning on a comedy show for tomorrow."

Lincoln does recall Luan making plans of this comedy show, saying how she was going to brighten up everyone's moods among this grey world. Doing so meant that Luan was telling jokes and puns non-stop throughout the week, while their dad laughed at them, he along with the other sisters felt like they were going insane from how much of Luan's puns they endured. Lincoln was 99% sure that Lola was going to stick duck tape across her mouth last night.

"So I've been thinking." Luan continued.

"Yes?" Lincoln asked, though he had a strong feeling where this is going.

"That maybe you can attend the show." She replied happily.

"Me?" Lincoln didn't know about that, he remembered the last time he was on stage making everyone laugh, it was nice and all, but that was when he was preforming in front of kids that were up to the twins age. He couldn't deny that he got a little full of himself during that time, it wasn't until attending that girl's (who he believes her name was Maggie) birthday party, that he wasn't ready for making more aged up people go into a fit of laughter.

"I don't know Luan, I'm not sure I can bring the Sanctuary down with my humor."

"Don't worry Linc, I got something else in mind that will definitely get you interested." She reassured.

"Which is?"

"Well a show needs entertainment, so perhaps you can do a magic act before I step up on stage."

"Magic act?" He said in interest. It really was a long time since he did anything with magic thanks to the chaos from the disaster, along with the work on the comic. But hearing that Luan wanted him to preform a magic act for her show, it made him have a spark inside him that quickly grew into a unstoppable fire.

This could be his chance to make a come back and show everyone on what a great magician he is. "Sure Luan! I would love to show my magic skills to the rest of the Sanctuary."

Luan rubs his head in happiness over his answer. "Great Lincoln! Now make sure that you practice your act and be ready by eight tomorrow."

"Got it." Lincoln and his friends then leave the room. Luan smiled proudly as things were running smoothly, soon by tomorrow the Sanctuary will remember what it's like to be entertain.

She went over to the copying machine as she needed to copy some posters in order to spread the word to everyone, after all you can't have a show without a audience.

After placing the poster on the machine, Luan placed the amount she wanted then waited for them to come out. As she waited for the posters, Luan began to wonder on what other forms of entertainment she should have for her show?

Perhaps Luna would like to provide music for the show, she knew that her sister was busy with comforting Sam for the loss of her brother, but perhaps, (and this is a small chance) that they could preform if she asked them.

The machine soon stops and the last copy came out. "There we go." Luan happily picked up her copies of the posters along with the original one, she quickly leaves the room to start on hanging up the posters around the place.

"Looks like I got a magic act tomorrow." Lincoln exclaimed to his friends as they walked down the hallway. "What are you planning to do Lincoln?" Stella asked.

"I don't know, I lost all my magic stuff when my house got destroyed." Lincoln replied feeling a little bit troubled as those were the best magic supplies he had.

"I'm sure you can think of something." Liam reassured.

"You think so?"

"Well yeah, you are the third best magician in Royal Woods, after all you actually showed us what you can do at the talent show." Rusty reminded.

"True" Lincoln thought about it, he would have to do a lot improvising, but he'll find a way to do it as he is the man with the plan.

They then pass by a window which showed the newly, fully constructed greenhouse that glowed dimly next to the much brighter Sanctuary.

Lisa stood inside the warm greenhouse, placing the last of her genetically modified seeds into the ground. "Perfect"

"Lisa! I put in my super-seeds!" Darcy cried out happily.

"That's nice Darcy." Lisa replied while patting the dirt. Darcy went up right next to Lisa looking at the ground curiously. "How long does it take for these super-seeds to grow?"

"About one day."

"Wow! That's fast!" She exclaimed in wonder.

"They need to be, considering the fact that we are up to the last cans of food." Lisa gets up to her feet, she turns to Darcy while clapping her hands together. The laughter that suddenly came out from her friend gets her attention. "What's so funny?"

Darcy couldn't reply as she is too busy giggling much to Lisa's surprise, eventually Darcy managed to control herself for the time being and spoke up in-between giggles. "Your dirty Lisa."

Looking down at herself, Lisa does indeed see that the shirt and pants Leni gave her is covered by dirt stains. Darcy goes into another series of laughter, this prompts Lisa to look up at her with an amused grin. "I wouldn't be laughing too much Darcy, considering your more covered in soil than me."

Looking down at herself, Darcy discovered that Lisa is telling the truth as her clothes is almost completely covered by dirt. After a moment of looking at herself in surprise silence, Darcy goes into another fit of laughter which is so loud that Lisa began to chuckle herself over this whole situation.

The whole greenhouse is filled with their laughter, at first they both held onto their stomachs, but soon they wrapped their arms around each other that eventually caused the two to fall on their bottoms which made them laugh another few minutes before their laughter comes to a slow stop.

Lisa huffed heavily from the amount of laughter she endured. "Goodness" Lisa began but stopped as she huffed some more to regain her breathing. "I haven't laughed like that for a long time."

Darcy who already regain her breath smiles cheerfully at her friend. "Doesn't it feel nice?"

Lisa thinks about it. She is a girl that doesn't display that much emotions as emotions get in the way of her studies, she couldn't deny however that the laughter she shared with Darcy felt great, in fact it felt the most great she ever felt in her life. "It does indeed Darcy, but I don't understand how though."

"It's because laughter is the best medicine." Darcy innocently replied.

"Yes, I believe I did hear that metaphor from Luan."

Darcy didn't know what a metaphor was exactly, but it sounded like Lisa's sister was right and she's proud to make her friend laugh.

It's just too bad that her clothes won't be clean anytime soon, but oh well she can live with dirty clothes.

Lincoln and his friends have situated themselves at the library, they sat at a table near the back corner. They weren't the only ones in the library though, nearby Leni and her club is hard at work in sewing some more fabric. The two didn't mind that they had to share the space, just as long as they don't disrupt each other's activities that is.

Leni happily worked on the blue socks that she had began working on earlier in the day. Instead of using a sewing machine however, Leni is doing it the classic way with needles and yarn, and she's been doing a good job on doing it as she had finished one sock and now is halfway done with the other one.

Leni happily hummed a tune as she knits, her friend Jackie who's busy sewing a shirt, looked over to the second oldest sister of the Loud siblings. "Those are some nice socks Leni."

"Thanks Jackie and your shirt looks great."

Jackie smiled, then proudly lifted up the shirt to her friend. "I feel like, I got the right amount of magenta for it."

"You totes do, I also like that adorable cat face you put on it."

"Oh good, as I feel like that it gives the shirt a little personality." Jackie stated.

"And it does a good job on that." Leni sweetly said.

The two go back to work on their sewing. Awhile later they both finished their clothing, they set them aside and began work on the next set of clothing.

Leni's club had made several clothes for the past few days, they happily gave their creations to a few people in the Sanctuary. The ones they had given the clothes to were very grateful as the clothes they wore is falling apart, so it was great to be wearing something that didn't have holes, dirt, and sweat stains on them.

Of course the first people Leni gave the new clothes to were her family. Lola absolutely loved the new version of her princess dress that Leni had made her, it was a great improvement from the raggedy ones she wore ever since they were sheltering inside the bunker.

After her family, Leni gave what she had left to other people she saw. It made her feel great on making people smile once they received them. Leni simply couldn't wait to finish with this batch of clothes, the will to give out her designs is strong within her.

"I like just know that they're going love these!" Leni thought happily to herself.

After reading their comic, Lincoln and the others were walking down the hallway. It maybe a bit prideful on their part, but they thought that their comic was great! The introduction of the characters were nice and simple, the villain is intimidating, the way they met and the battle between them and Dr. Ren was fun. It's just too bad that since they were the ones that made it, they weren't surprised on what happened in the story as they expected it.

Overall after reading the comic, it made them confident enough to make more copies and hand them out to others. They were just passing the cafeteria when Rusty stopped in his tracks and looked at the door with a growl coming from his stomach. "Boy, I can go for a snack right now."

"You might as well forget about it Rusty, Lynn and her roller derby team are guarding the food and trust me when I say that when Lynn is guarding something, she tends to take it seriously." Lincoln warned his friend.

"But I'm hungry." Rusty cried.

"Trust me, it's best to wait till meal time."

Sighing in exaggeration, Rusty folded his arms together to show his utter annoyance. "Fine, but I hope I don't starve."

"Should you really be really be saying that? I know that we're not living in luxury and aren't eating as we please, but we should consider ourselves lucky that we are getting food as I'm pretty sure that out there are people who did starve to death, or are slowly dieing from it." Stella stated firmly.

Taken aback by how firmly Stella spoke up, Rusty backed up a bit with a raise of his hands. "Alright, alright, those were a poor choice of words on my part, sorry about that." The area soon became an awkward silence that neither of them could speak up.

Wanting to break this silence and stop Stella from giving him a stare that made him shrink Rusty now spoke up, though with a bit of a babbled. "Why are we standing around here for? Don't we have a comic to copy some more?" Rusty quickly rushes away from them, they watch him go down to the end of the hallway where he stopped and turns to them, motioning for them to come along.

They looked at each other blankly, then went off to catch up with him.

Inside the vents; Lola looked down at the kitchen, watching her older sister and her roller derby team standing guard in front of the freezer door.

This is a delegate mission that Lola must be careful with, for if she gets caught, not only will her older sister and her friends pound her into next week, she'll also get in a lot of trouble with her parents for swiping food from the freezer turned pantry.

She wouldn't be doing something so reckless as this, but she had to as one of the kids she and Lana have been playing with dared her to. They were playing the classic game of truth or dare when the girl dared her to raid some food. Lola wasn't sure if that was a good idea as she still felt like that despite how most of her family had gotten over the whole bunker incident, she could feel that a few were still mad over it.

If they knew that she raided the Sanctuary's pantry, they'll be even more disappointed with her. So Lola declined to do the dare, but that changed when the girl called her a chicken. No one calls Lola Loud a chicken, her twin backed her up and told the girl that Lola could do it, and so that's how Lola found herself in the vents, looking down at the guarded kitchen.

Carefully in order not to make any noise that would alert her sister or any of her friends, Lola slowly crawled over to the grate that looked down into the pantry. Grabbing it Lola slowly and carefully lifted it up and lightly placed it down in front of her.

Now with that part done, Lola now has to do what she believed to be the most difficult part. Getting in there and then getting back out, it's going to be a great challenge but Lola brought something that will help her.

Lola takes out a rope and some duck tape, she holds the end of the rope to vent ceiling with her hand then used the duck tape to hold it in place. With that done the next thing she does is slowly sent the rope down until it touched the floor.

Lola grabs onto the rope and descends down until her feet touched the floor, Lola is officially in and now all she had to do is choose which cans of food she should take, she supposed that the best thing to do is to just take one. Carefully inspecting the cans to see which would be best, Lola chooses to take the can of pineapples.

Taking the can, Lola stuffs it into her pocket, she then gets back on the rope and quickly climbed back up into the vents. Once inside Lola pulls the rope up and places the grate back into place.

Lana grew nervous as she sat in the circle of kids. Lola seemed to be taking a long time on her dare, this worried her as what if Lola got caught and is now facing the wrath of Lynn and the other guards. Lana didn't want her twin to get in trouble, but also didn't want her to be called a chicken. If things go wrong, Lana would just have to do her best to defend her twin from the trouble she'll find herself in.

"I bet princess chicken out." The girl who dared her twin suddenly spoke up.

Lana immediately jumped to her feet in anger. "Lola wouldn't do that!"

The girl smirked, amused that she got a reaction from the tomboy. "I bet she just ran and hid under the covers."

"She would never do that! My twin can do lots of things, she can even be scary when she wants to be!" Lana exclaimed in anger.

"Oh yeah, then where is she?" The girl smugly asked.

The gymnasium doors suddenly burst open, everyone looked over to see Lola coming in with the can of pineapples in her hand. Seeing her twin with the can it was now Lana's turn to smugly look at the girl who is completely taken by surprise. "There she is."

The girl crossed her arms and huffed in annoyance as Lola just proved her wrong. Lola meanwhile places the can in the middle of the circle. "Read em and weep fellas." Lola sat down next to Lana who gave her a high-five as the other kids awed at Lola's achievement. Lola then looked over to the girl with a evil smile. "Now it's my turn."

After her work at the greenhouse, Lisa retreated to the science lab at about four in the afternoon. Lisa felt herself relax upon being in her comfort zone, yet she couldn't be distracted as she had some work to do.

The genetic plants were finished, so no worries about that. Lisa had something more important to observe, something that will ultimately decide on their current living conditions.

Coming to the window Lisa looked at her temperature equipment, studying them closely, she notes on how it was five degrees cooler than yesterday; about 59°.

Lisa wrote this information on a clipboard, this was troubling as she knew that it's going to get much more cooler to the point that she estimated that by June or early May, the ash that's still falling from the sky would be join by snow.

Snow during that time of year sounded strange, but Lisa knew that it was another consequence of the aftereffects of impact. Soon the planet would be in the embrace of an impact winter, the temperature is going to be below freezing and no doubt it's going to kill more.

Lisa is very concern about herself, her family, and everyone else's living condition. The Sanctuary may provide the shelter from some of the cold, but since they are in a northern state, they'll get extreme cold temperatures that'll force them to leave and travel down south.

Lisa dreaded for when that day comes, as they'll loose people during that journey, including her family and she definitely wanted to avoid that.

She needed to do something, the obvious choice is to leave right now, but she has a strong feeling that her family wouldn't want to leave and will put up a fight about it. The second thing she could do is get them prepared for cold weather, she wasn't a designer in clothing like Leni is, but she's going to make them warm clothes no matter what, before it's too late to do so.
