Him and Shun bolted before the public could come for them, using their newly evolved Bakugans.
They both made it home and proceed to enjoy the rest of their weekend.
On Monday morning, Nadja Chamack was on the news talking about the battle in the stadium.
Imagine getting on the news for a battle that was the size of an akumatised battle but instead of terror and fear, it was awesomeness.
It must have been a breath of fresh air to not have to run for your life, when something is attacking.
Dam went to meet with Shun in an alleyway, completely missing the news report of Shun Ninja heritage and saying his granfather trained genuine Ninjas in his youth.
When they encountered one another, they teleported together to the front of the school and walked in.
He showed Shun to the Principal office and then he went to class, where he was stunned to hear students ask about the Bakugan battle and Shun.
Minutes later, Shun came in and introduced himself.
The class lost its damn mind as soon as they realise what was happening.
They had THE Shun Kazami!
Welcome!
He purse his lips as he didn't have this big of a welcome when he showed up.
The day begam and Shun proved to be an all rounder.
Good looking, Intelligent, athletic and his personality was just the coolest.
He never thought he would see both males and females crushing on one person but apparently Shun ticked some serious boxes.
The power of his new mother was really on display here because he didn't think a person like Shun Kazami would have naturally existed otherwise.
Shun was the friend you wished you had, but everybody in real life was far to awkard for that and was trying hard to be accepted.
Shun genuinely did not care who talked to him and didn't go out of his way to try and be noticed.
So imagine the shock when Shun went with him outside for lunch, instead of trying to seek out validation from teens who can make his life sweetsr.
Eating lunch, on a wooden balcony, gazing at the lush forest, with a friend and bakugans by his side was something special.
He always thought you needed to spend money to truly have a good time so this was a welcome surprise.
Shun taught him how to Fish Ninja style in the nearby River.
He was terrible.
The fish schooled him.
But they had a good time, while posting pictures and videos on social media.
Both of them came back to school in noticeably different clothes due to their former ones being wet.
Then Shun schooled every dude in PE while girls cheered the guy on.
It was like Shun was the main character in his own show.
After school, Shun had to do something with his grandfather while he went home.
At home, being in Shun shadow dissappeared as he took a look at his social media account and saw a billion people following him.
Verified celebrity accounts showed up,companies contacted him about if he was willing to sell Drago or produce merchandise.
There were videos of children acting out the Bakugan battle.
It was wild, a stupid amount of money can be made if Bakugan were on sale.
He asked.
His new mother said. "Absolutely not."
He said why.
She said. "Because Bakugan are living creatures who don't deserved to be pawned off like they're property. And secondly, have you met the human race?"
He was stunned.
She said. "If somebody like Hawk Moth got his hands on a Bakugan, what do you think would happen?"
He thought about it and then paled.
Death.
Death everywhere.
That kind of man will not use Bakugan for children level fun, he will make sure a massacre happens.
She said, reading his face. "And when the massacres start happening, guess who gets blamed for it? Not the selfish humans. Us. The world would use this as ammo to seize everything we have and shove us into a testing facility for the rest of our lives."
She then said. "The only reason this hadn't happen yet, is because of backlash. Your a public figure. If you dissappeared along with those connected to you, half the world would probably riot"
He could see that.
The fallout would be huge if Drago died or if Shun was taken away by the government for simply existing.
She said. "And speaking of connections. How would you feel, knowing a super cute lively alien girl who come to do a report on life on Earth?"
He said, instantly. "I would love that"
She said. "Let me finish the preparations and you'll meet her"
And he waited.
He waited all week, while the world breathed down his neck and Shun proved that he did indeed have his own life away from him.
Shun recieved incredible opportunities to model, got to know famous and influenctional people and walked out on Chloe and her mom.
Apparently they thought, Shun would be so far up their ass that he would ignore their disrespectful nature.
They honestly did not think he would have that self respect.
Then Adrien Agreste was chosen as the most fashionable male in school.
Those without the rose tinted glasses called Bs secretly.
There was tons of guys in school with way better style, Adrien clothes looked like the cliche cool guy outfit that had been done to death way before his dad was even born.
However, Adrien was rich and even had Chloe Bourgeois kissing his ass so he got the award and nobody dared to complain.
The ceremony was optional and on the day Julie was supposed to get here.
Shun asked if he would go, because he would rather wait for their new friend Julie Makimoto.
Honestly, when Dan thought about it, he didn't want to go to the ceremony.
But you feel you had to go in hopes the guy may notice you and shower you with his blessings.
Wasting your life for a moment that would never happen and if it did, it would never be as great as you wanted it to be.
So it was a huge moment for him, when he told Shun, he didn't want to go, he would much rather play in Shuns forest with the Bakugan and wait for Julie to show up.
And besides, it wasn't that important to the school weithet they showed up or not, none of their guardiens were powerful enough.
So when the time came, both of them left.
They didn't come back.
Instead they spent a good hour in Shun forest before a spaceship showed up and the next thing he know, he was being knocked over by a suntanned female with gorgous silver done up in a poney tail, silver eyebrows, blue eyes and in revealing pink clothes that showed her stomach.
She said. "Dan!"
He blushed as he realised what was against his face.
A deep male voice said. "Don't squish him, Julie"
Julie said. "Sorry" as she got off him and they got up together.
Drago said. "You must be Subterra Hammer Gorem." To Julie Bakugan.
The Bakugan said. "Please, just call me Gorem"
Drago said. "And you can call me Drago and this is Skyriss"
Skyress said. "Nice to meet you, Gorem"
Shun gave a yo in Nino language.
You must have bulls of steal. He thought seeing the beautiful Julie in front of him who was wearing tight revealing clothes and Shun didn't bat an eye.
He didn't think he would ever see a chick with genuine silver hair but his new life made impossible things possible.
Julie then insisted on all of them taking a picture together for social media and her blog.
He didn't mind and they posted with the caption 'Julie is here and slumming it in Paris for a week' with love hearts.
You could tell it wasn't him who wrote it.
Then they talked and got to know each other, while Julie image was unknowingly going viral as dudes came over to look with wide eyes.
Julie was staying with him, since she cringed hard at Shun lack of carpet as the house was all wooden and hard.
Moving her in, it was then he discovered they had spare bedroom.
In a new post Julie said she was happy to be staying with the Kusos and how his mom was chill.
The photo uploaded was her snapping her fingers and winking at the camera.
Dan woke up to his viewers losing their minds and asking desperately to get Julie on camera.
It didn't take long for the world to discover she was real because she showed up all over Paris to interview.
With her energetic and bright personality, she quickly made friends.
Not with everybody though.
Chloe Bourgeois looked like she absolutely hated her.
However, Julie strength was handling rejection and not being there to be torn apart.
Suddenly it was like the city was in festival mode as Julie spread her joy.
Julie happiness was contagious.
Over the next few days, happiness truly loomed over Paris as she got to know and compliment people.
Even the Akuma attacks had ground to a halt.
People were coming to Paris again, Julie was going on dates and even did some modelling on the side.
Everybody seemed to know Julie.
But she was going to leave eventually.
For those who hated the new Paris, it was music to their ears.
To kick it off, he announced on social media that Julie last day was going to have a Bakugan battle with him in the afternoon.
It was no exaggeration that people flow in for this and came in costumes and support merchandise.
Again, Dan was really not feeling the love for him when he entered that stadium.
The city had allowed them to use the biggest stadium for this, as long as they get to charge a little admission fee.
There was so many people showing support for Julie, while his fans were like a blimp, extremely hard to spot.
He didn't know it but the whole world was watching this go down.
Then they began, they launch their bakugan and the world got to feast their eyes on Godem's true form at last.
The being wasn't a flying beast like Skyriss or Drago but some kind of astec looking gorem from ancient times.
Everybody screamed at the coolness as many people saw Bakugan in person for the first time, including supermodel Adrien Agreste, who managed to get promission to go.
With his bodyguard and his father assistant, present of course.
The two of them began and the coolness didn't stop.
When Drago took to the air, making it hard for Gorem, Julie had a card for that forced Drago to stay grounded.
The crowd roared with approval.
However, by far the highlight of the match was when Gorem materialised his Hammer infront of the world.
The swooning was real.
Even he swooned a bit when he saw the weaponary.
Julie and Gorem really put up an amazing fight but he and Drago beat them with experience.
Both he and her shook hands at the end, not knowing that something had finally replaced Earths centuries long obsession with supers.
The Bakugan.
Julie stayed behind.
With security of course to sign autograph and thank people for supporting her.
He got a text from his mom to teleport to Shawn's forest.
He did just that and was stunned to see luggage on the forest floor with the smiling woman.
He said. "Are you going somewhere?"
She said. "We are. We all are"
His eyes were wide.
She then said. "So here's the deal. The world couldn't wait and destroyed our lives this morning"
His eyes were round.
She said. "People broke into our bank account and emptied everything out. We can no longer afford to live"
He open his mouth.
She said. "Nobody protected our infomation so now we have random strangers in our house waiting for his to come home"
His mouth got wider.
She said. "Paris is crawling with Area 51 and FBI right now, waiting for us"
His mouth hit the floor.
She said. "The same thing happened to Shun family, except his grandfather was attacked on top of that because they thought he would be easy to take down since he was so old"
Then she said. "And finally I called you here, because this is the only place the world truly does not know the location of. But make no mistake. There are people currently combing through the area trying to find this place"
And she was still smiling!
She said. "Now, let me tell you good news."
Please!
She said. "I finished making a planet for us to escape to called New Vestoria. They want our help to help free the Bakugan"
He stared at her like she was growing two heads.
She said. "What? You said you wanted to be interesting. Now, are you going to stand here and wait for the world to get you, or are you going to escape with me to a planet with an awesome new alien outfit?"
Silence.
He then said. "So...what was the planet name again, for my followers sake?"
They had hit rock bottom, the only way is up, right?
