"… In a single day and night of misfortune, the island of Atlantis disappeared into the depths of the sea."
- Plato, c. 360, B.C.

The waves upon the ocean churned at a very calm and quiet pace when suddenly, a bright light came upon the horizon, and then… BOOM!
The calmness of the ocean disappeared, and some floating, hammerhead-shaped objects sped away with a giant, lobster-like creature called the Leviathan. Behind them was a giant wave!
"You fool!" one pilot chastised to another pilot, "You've destroyed us all!"
One of the pilots turned and gasped with fear, "The wave is gaining! We have to warn Atlantis!"
The speeders tried to avoid getting drenched in waves by the tsunami, but it caught up and began to engulf them one by one. "Too late!" one pilot cried out before he was engulfed.

The remaining fleet of speeders flew hastily over rivers and bridges as they arrived at the large and prosperous city of Atlantis. The Heart of Atlantis, the city's protecting gem, glowed a bright red as the giant wave came closer and closer. A guard in the watchtower saw the wave, and then realized that action needed to be taken. He announced into a speaker, "Everyone to the shelters! Everyone to the shelters!"
Two more guards rang bells to sound an alarm for the citizens to evacuate to their shelters. In the streets, people ran and screamed with terror as the skies grew dark and structures began to fall.

A royal guard turned to the rulers of Atlantis and called to them, "This way, your highnesses! Quickly!"
King Kakeshim Nedakh, his queen, and their two daughters noticed and decided to run to safety, too. The queen cradled her infant daughter Meela in her arms as Kida, the older daughter, dropped her doll and reached for her mother's hand. "Kida, come on!" the queen cried.
As the royals ran off, Kida realized she left her doll behind, and wanted to retrieve it. The queen handed baby Meela to her father, and then told Kida, "Kida, just leave it! There's not much time!"
Just then, a beam of blue light shone through the city and rested upon the queen. The queen looked upward as her crystal necklace floated upward, and then her eyes glowed bright blue. The king turned and saw his wife staring up at the Heart of Atlantis. Soon, the queen began floating slowly and lightly as her crystal pendant gave a bright glow with another beam of light.
Kida couldn't understand what was happening until she felt her mother's immobile hand leave her grip. "Mahtim!" the young princess cried as she looked up and saw her mother floating away. As the queen went higher and higher towards the Heart of Atlantis, Kida cried out tears of desperation and yelled, "Mahtim!"

As the citizens frantically scrambled to reach for safety, some blue shields soon surrounded the city's center, trapping a few people out. After desperately pounding on the shields, the remaining citizens looked back and saw their coming fate within the tsunami.
"Mahtim!" Kida cried out desperately as she looked up.
Just then, her father, cradling her baby sister, covered Meela's eyes with a cloth, and then embraced Kida as he ordered her, "Close your eyes, Kida! Look away!"
The king looked up at the Heart of Atlantis, and then some stones spun rapidly as the shields closed, and then there came another blast of bright light!
And then, in a matter of seconds, the waves engulfed the city of Atlantis, causing it to sink towards the bottom of the sea, never to be seen again.
