Sarah and Daniel were sitting together on a private CIA plane heading to Paris. She didn't want to sit next to him. In fact, when they first boarded, she chose a seat far away from him. He then decided to get up and sit next to her. He smirked as he sat down. It drove her up the wall. But, she had to find her calm center and pretended that it was alright.
It wasn't.
Their mission, was to find and destroy the Ring's Cypher facility as per Daniel's suggestion. Sarah wasn't too thrilled about going to Paris with Daniel. She wanted her man Chuck to have traveled with her. She wanted to see Paris and finally explore the city just as Chuck requested. She was more than happy...no ecstatic about the idea. To see his contagious boyish enthusiasm that surely would have infected her. She was already infected, so what's some more, right? But, Chuck didn't come. She wasn't crazy about it but she accepted that, that was the way it was...for now. So, for the greater good, she reluctantly said yes to go to Paris...with Daniel. Just before departing, she told Chuck that when she came back, they will have their chance and finally be officially together. They made their last kiss in Castle and it broke her heart. She hated leaving him. Just when things were starting to work out. That finally, finally after so much time lost, (and deeply regrets) she was able to be with the man she loves. She thought back when he asked her if she loved him. How the love in his eyes were so pure. How he thought he may have overstepped and was embarrassed when she didn't answer right away. But she had to tell him...but how? She never felt true love before, much less say it! But she had to say something. Something Chuck would understand and received the message loud and clear.
"Yes."
Huh...he didn't get the message loud and clear. He rambled on how ridiculous he was on the floor in his underwear holding a plastic guitar and how he was making a complete fool out of himself. She had to tell him, again.
"No no Chuck...yes...yes." Chuck couldn't believe what he was hearing. The girl of his dreams said yes! She told him that she fell for him a long long time when he fixed her phone and disarmed a bomb with a computer virus.
And again.
"So, yes Chuck. Yes." He smiled and she moved closer, She cemented her love by kissing him soundly so he can understand once and for all her commitment to him. That she loved him.
Message received and understood...finally.
That was the beginning of her new life. A new chapter. A life she always wanted but couldn't have til one day a curly haired loving man had crumbled her walls. She felt privileged and honored to have such a man. Her man. No one elses. Hers and hers only.
"Sarah?"
She is shaken from her beautiful day dreaming.
Annoyed, she said. "Yes, Daniel?"
"I made reservations for us to have dinner at a very nice outdoor restaurant facing the Eifel Tower." Daniel said in a low husky 'get the girl' tone.
Sarah wanted to deck him right then and there. There was no way in hell she was going to do any of that. NO. WAY. IN. HELL. Going to the Eifel Tower was only reserved for one man and one man only. So, she did what she had to do.
Sarah kept her voice cool. "Shaw, let me remind you. We're on a mission. Not on pleasure. We are to destroy the Ring facility. In and out."
Shaw raised his left eyebrow and smirked. "Well, isn't that my job?"
She couldn't believe what she just heard. 'Did he just say what I think he just said?' Agent Walker slowly turned to face him. Her dilating piercing blue eyes penetrating his very being. He subtlety swallowed knowing he went too far. Agent Walker unleashed on his arrogant ass.
Agent Walker's voice was cold, hard and icy. "Agent Shaw. We will not or ever again have relations. Do I make myself clear?"
Shaw knew he better tread lightly. He knew that Sar...Agent Walker was not to be taken lightly. He knew her reputation. How a knife would magically appear. How she can take out men much larger than her. How she mutilated a terrorist with a spoon. Her record was legendary. She was the Ice Queen. The Wildcard Enforcer. So, he gave in...this time.
"Yes, Agent Walker. Loud and clear."
"Good and we will keep it that way."
"Yes, understood." This time, she got up and went to the furthest seat away.
He didn't follow.

The plane landed in De Gaulle international airport and was taxiing towards a tinted bullet proof vehicle and to take them to their hotel in central Paris. The pilot announced their arrival and took off the seatbelt sign. The door opened and immediately, Sarah got up. Not far back was Shaw. He wasn't going near her. He knew better. She was still in agent mode. She gave her thanks to the pilot as she exited and walked down the stairs and so did Shaw. She was briskly walking towards the vehicle when she heard...
"Agent Walker."
She ignored him.
"Agent Walker...please."
"This guy just doesn't give up! She took a deep breath. "Calm down girl. See what her wants. We're on a mission after all."
She stopped and Shaw cautiously approached her. Agent Walker was still looking ahead and didn't acknowledge his presence.
"Agent Walker. I want to apologize for my behavior earlier. It was uncalled for. I was making a joke and thought I would lighten the mood sort of speak."
She quickly turned and stared at him using the same cold voice. "It didn't."
"Again, I apologize. Can we put this behind us and focus on the mission?"
Agent Walker thought about it for a moment. He was right. They needed to focus on the mission and get this over with. She needed her Chuck ASAP and she hated being Agent Walker. It changed her. She didn't like it.
Agent Walker took a deep breath. Sarah was back.
"Ok Shaw. I accept your apology. You're right. We need to focus and being angry at you is not going to help. But, no more crude jokes. Ok?"
Shaw raised his hands in surrender. Then he offered his hand to shake on it and promised he would never do that again. She accepted with a slight smile and they entered the vehicle. "Maybe I was too harsh. Boys will be boys and spy boys always think they're God's gift to women. But not my Chuck. He never thinks that. In fact, he believes I'm his gift. Oh, he's so wrong. HE'S my gift and I'm so very lucky."
Her eyes were getting a tad glassy and she had to shake that off. On the way to the hotel, Shaw was making small talk and she was nodding and smiling but she paid no attention. Her super spy skills working perfectly. He didn't suspect a thing.
They arrived at the hotel and they had to pose as a 'happy' couple. Arm and arm. She hated doing this, but she had to for the cover.
The cover. God, she hated that word.
She thought back when Chuck and her had to pretend to be a couple in love...for the damn friggin cover. It bothered her then and it was killing her at the hotel. She had fallen for him and the cover was eating her alive. She lost count on how many times there were doing things as a 'couple' where she completely forgot that they weren't. They would go their separate ways after the mission, seeing his eyes hurt and her heart breaking to smithereens. Many nights she couldn't sleep, thinking about Chuck. How she wanted more but couldn't. How she would cry every damn night. How she wished things were different and they could've be a real couple back then. How each and everyday, Chuck was chipping away at her walls and slowly becoming a real girl. His girl. How she finally admitted on her personal video log that she loved him. She loved Chuck Bartowski and she didn't know what to do about it. She was a mess. She was compromised.
She was in love.
They checked in and were going up the their...room. In the elevator Sarah immediately removed her arm from Shaw's and he said. "Sarah, I'm sorry we couldn't have gotten two rooms because of the cover, but you can have the bed and I'll take the sofa bed."
"That's the way it was going to happen anyway, Shaw." She made him understand that it wasn't his say on who's having what accommodations. He slightly laughed at that and she sarcastically smiled. "Well played, Sarah."
The elevator stopped and the door opened. He was still smiling till she stepped out. Then his smile dropped and his eyes turned deadly cold.

Thank God, the room was so big that Shaw had his own space sort of speak. The bedroom was a separate room that had it's own door which she made sure had a lock and double locked it with one her own. Besides, if Shaw tried anything, she had her gun and knives very close by. Shaw wouldn't know what hit him. He'd be dead. But he knew better. Don't poke a sleeping lioness.
As usual, she had a hard time sleeping. Thinking about her nerd and those damn tears again. She tossed and turned but no luck. Her nerd was driving her crazy. She wanted oh so badly to call him, but that was out of the question. Even though she had a sat phone, she wouldn't risk getting discovered by the Ring. You just never know. That's it. She couldn't take it anymore. She needed something to comfort her and there was one thing that would. She got up and went to her suitcase. There on the bottom, snugged and hidden was a picture of them. A picture that was taken for that damn cover. They looked so happy. But it wasn't for the cover where Sarah was concerned. No, she was really happy and in love. Her gorgeous nerd was holding her from behind with his laced hands in front of her. She smiled and a tear fell. Almost hitting the picture. She kept looking at it and then she went back to bed...putting the picture on her nightstand. She smiled feeling that Chuck was looking after her. Keeping her safe.
"Goodnight, my love." Sleep overtook her.

The next morning, Sarah woke up feeling a little better and immediately turned and looked the picture. She smiled and blushed. She was so far gone that it took Chuck's picture to help her calm down. "I'm a piece of work. Thanks a lot, Chuck!" She giggled. She wouldn't have it any other way. She took a deep breath and got up to take a shower. But first she put her beloved picture back in the suitcase in it's hidden location and went to the bathroom.
'Soon Chuck. I'll be back. Then we can start our lives together.' She closed the door to the bathroom and took a shower.

She stepped out of the bedroom and saw Shaw was in the living area checking things on his computer.
"Would like to go out for breakfast or order room service?" She did not want to be the same room eating with him.
"We'll go to the hotel dining room. They're serving breakfast till 11am."
"Sure. That's fine by me."
This was a catch twenty two. She didn't want to eat in the same room, but they had to show 'affection' in public. No kissing. Just hands or arm holding. It made her feel she was cheating on Chuck. But she knew this was a way to get rid of the Ring and be back with her lovable hot nerd. They entered the dining holding hands and began to select from the breakfast buffet. They found a table and began to eat when Shaw received an encrypted message. Sarah paused. Waiting for Shaw to say what it was.
"We have to go back to the room. I'm getting info from my sources on where the exact Ring facility is on my computer." Sarah nodded and they left. Barely touching their food.
Holding hands...again, (UGH) they entered the room and Shaw raced to his computer. He went though many security protocols and finally got though. His eyes popped and said. "Sarah, I have the exact location. Tonight, we'll casually walk where we'll have our equipment dropped for us. Suit up and our weapons. The Ring facility will be close by."
"Very good, Shaw. I hope this goes smoothly and destroy their attempt having their own Intersect."
"It will, Sarah...it will."

It was after 10pm when they were casually walking in a quant part of Paris. Beautiful coble stone streets. Dating back the 11th century. All the stores were closed. They entered a street still arm in arm. Shaw whispered that this is the street where their gear would be. He pointed with his chin at the hidden gear location. It was a mailbox. She went ahead to retrieve it. As she was getting closer, she sensed something was off. She couldn't put her finger on it. She looked around, at the mailbox, the bench chair, the lamp post and the street name.
Cedez Le Passage.
She could have sworn she recognized that name before.
"Something is off."
"What is it?"
All the memories came crashing down. A necklace, a woman picking it up, Sarah thinking the woman had a weapon. Sarah shooting and killing the woman.
Her red test!
With renewed fear Sarah said. "Why did you bring me here?"
"What do you mean?
Sarah drew her gun and pointed at Shaw. "You led me here. C'mon, this is where I shot her. Is this some sort of a trap?"
He smirked. "Sarah, you killed my wife. Did you think I would be ok with that?"
"But you said that..."
"I told you a lot of things to get you here."
Sarah felt her strength weakening.
"Gun is getting heavy, isn't it?
She looked over her right shoulder. A tranq dart. Sarah was getting so weak, she dropped the gun.
Then the arrogant Ring Director picks up her gun with a sarcastic evil smirked. "You know, you can hurt someone with it...there's a café around the corner where we can discuss the details."
Shaw rushed up to catch Sarah before she hit the sidewalk. "Just relax. It's all over now."
He gently sat her down on a café chair. Then, he sat across from her. "The drug is a special toxin. It won't kill you. It simply immobilizes your nervous system."
'Oh my God! Oh my God! Chuck! Baby, I'm so sorry! Baby, I'm so sorry. I love you so much! Please forgive me! All I wanted was to be with you! To have a future with you! Baby, I'm so sorry!'
She paused her thoughts. And then she berated herself.
'How can I be so stupid?! I let my guard down! How was I able to let this happen! Some spy I am! My instincts are never wrong and I went against them, trusting this scum!'
She heard some ramblings Shaw and the Director were saying, but she didn't care to pay attention. Her life was over. She would never be happy and be with the man she loves. She then thought of what life could have been. She imagined returning home, meeting Chuck, kissing him senseless and going out on many romantic dates. Waiting for the day when Chuck asked her to marry him, how that day would have been the most joyous ever. How she would constantly look at the engagement ring and wanted to be married ASAP. The day of their marriage. Going on an incredible honeymoon, making love all throughout the day and night. To the day when Sarah made a special announcement to Chuck that they're expecting. How incredible happy should would be and how ecstatic Chuck would react. Grabbing and lifting her, twirling her around while she was laughing in pure joy and love. To the day of their first born (a curly hair blue eyed boy, of course) where they would marvel at the beautiful child they created. Chuck being in awe, crying to no end and so would she. Their families getting together and celebrating, including Emma and Molly. Their child's first birthday and soon after, her announcement of their second child. (blond hair brown eyed girl. Chuck would say she's a mini her) To their children growing up, school, their hearts broken by their girlfriends and boyfriends. Consoling and trying desperately comforting her daughter's broken heart. To seeing them get married, having the own children and Sarah and Chuck being Grandparents. To seeing their grandchildren have their children and being Great Grandparents and holding Chuck's hand in their Golden years.
But that was not to happen. She was ready to meet her fate. She thought once more what could have been and tears ran down her cheeks. Shaw thought she cried was because he said he had to kill her. Far from it. She cried because she would never see Chuck again.
'Baby, we will meet again and this time, it will be for eternity. I will be waiting for you my love.'
Her thoughts were interrupted.
Wait...what?
She was hallucinating. She thought she saw Chuck. It had to be the drug. Then she heard Chuck's voice. It wasn't possible. He wouldn't know where to find her. Yes, definitely hallucinating. But something caught her attention.
Shaw, arrogant as ever, dared Chuck. "If you pull the trigger now, kill me."
Chuck looked at Sarah. "I wouldn't do that."
'OH MY GOD! It's my baby! Chuck, honey! Please save yourself! More tears fell.
"And you got me?"
"Staaand up!"
"I guess the gun was his idea. Good."
'No, Chuck! Don't fight him! If he wins then I want to die. Please baby, run!'
A fight insures. Shaw gets the upper hand and startles Chuck. He then grabs Sarah and tells him that if he follows him, he will kill him.
Shaw brings Sarah to the bridge where he plans to throw her off and drown in the water (the sick bastard) "The drug will dull the pain. You won't feel a thing."
But Chuck followed them and told Shaw to stop! Sarah turned and saw her man.
'Chuck, please. Save yourself. I will always love you. Please don't die before me.'
"I warned you."
"Please, it doesn't have to be like this. This isn't you, Shaw. You can't do this."
Memories of Eve came flooding back to Shaw.
He point the gun back at Chuck. "No, Chuck. I can. You can't."
Shots were fired and Sarah blacked out. As Shaw was falling into the river, he grabbed Sarah's hand, hoping he'd take her down with him. But Chuck grabbed Sarah's shoulders just in time so she wouldn't fall in. Shaw's grip was loosening and he finally fell. Chuck turned his future wife around to see if she was ok and hugged her for dear life. He caressed her head and he cried into her golden hair.
With choking emotion. "It's ok baby. I'm here." Trying to control his sobs he said. "Sarah, I'm here." He cried again.
He could have sworn he felt her stir oh so slightly as to say...
'I'm here too.'

Thanks to Casey, they were able to sneak her into another hotel overlooking the Eifel Tower. Company doctors checked Sarah with the watchful eagle eyes of Chuck and Sarah's best partner and 'brother', Casey. He looked at Sarah like the sister he never had. He would scorched the Earth if anyone would harm Sarah or Chuck for that matter. He's become very fond of Chuck. Like a brother, but he'll never let him know about it. The doctors left and told the two men that Sarah will be ok. She just needs rest and she'll wake up on her own. Chuck thanked them and Casey grunted his approval.
In a low whisper. "Chuck, you did good. YOU saved Sarah and got rid of a traitor. Good work." He offered his hand and Chuck accepted it. Chuck was too emotional because getting a compliment from Casey was major. He tried to say something and Casey held up his other hand and said. "I know, kid. I know. Now, take care of Sarah." Chuck only nodded and Casey left.
He turned to look at his sweet Sarah. She looked so peaceful and so beautiful. He tried to be as quiet as possible. Going about in the room. Checking his emails and FB page. Always the gentleman, he blushed when he thought back when he had to remove her clothes. He tried so desperately not to stare at her beauty. He gently put her pajamas on and tucked her under the comforter. He looked at her again and was in awe. It's the most beautiful thing he's ever seen. Chuck was getting very tired and laid on the sofa where sleep took over.

Sarah was dreaming. Dreaming of her husband and beautiful children. It was a bright day. Sunny and warm. They were at the beach...their beach and the family were chasing each other in a game where, if they get caught, they will be throw in the ocean. Gently of course. Sarah purposely got herself 'caught' and the children 'threw' her in. She made an exaggerated gesture by flailing her arms as if she was trying to 'escape'. The children had a ball seeing their mom acting so goofy like their dad. Chuck came over to 'rescue' her from these tiny terrorists and Sarah grabbed his arm and pulled him with her in the water. Catching Chuck, totally surprised. He shouldn't have been surprised. This is Sarah friggin Walk...uhm...Bartowski we're talking about. They were wet and they looked at each with serious faces. They were so attracted to each other that it was sickening. They crashed their lips like it was the last time. Hungry. Eager. The children were cheering and so were some spectators. They completely forgot where they were. Embarrassed and blushing profusely, they separated...hating the feeling of that separation. If they had their way, they would be attached like Siamese Twins.
Sickening.
Chuck was sitting in a comfortable chair checking out his email when Sarah was stirring in bed. He got up and quickly went to Sarah and sat on the bed on her left side. She opened her eyes and Chuck got to see those beautiful blue orbs he fell in love with since day one.
God, he missed them.
Chuck was the first thing Sarah saw and her heart was racing, but she was still a little groggy.
Very concerned, Chuck said. "Hey, how are you feeling?"
Sarah was still a little groggy. "Oh, what happened?"
Chuck was distraught. His heart was breaking because he had to tell her that he killed Shaw and she wouldn't want to be with him. It was killing him.
He was fidgeting. He had a hard time finding words.
"Everything is ok, now."
Sarah wondered. "Uhm, and what about Shaw?"
This was the part that was killing his soul.
Sadly he said in a whisper. "He's dead...I'm sorry."
She was putting things together. "Oh my God, wait...there was...uhm...a café' and a bridge where he tried to kill me and"...realization hits. "Oh my God, you shot him."
It was now or never. He was going to tell her the truth. If it meant losing her, so be it. He'll be forever devastated. But he couldn't lie to her.
Desperately he said. "I couldn't let him hurt you Sarah. Trust me, I did what I had to do. But I'm still that guy. I'm still Chuck. I promise."
Her eyes brightened and she was so happy. She just wanted to eat him alive. Her hero!
She quietly said. "You saved me."
Chuck didn't know how to respond to that but Sarah knew exactly what to do. She moved forward and kissed him. Surprised at first, but he returned the kiss. Then separated just a second, Chuck was smiling and they kissed again...only to be interrupted by Beckman. She told them that she needed them back to Burbank ASAP. Chuck gestured Sarah to turn the computer away from them. Sarah had an amused look and did what he requested.
Chuck tried to figure out what to make of Beckman. "I don't know..."
Sarah cared about one thing and that definitely wasn't Beckman. "Shut up and kiss me."
And he did.
He went under the covers and Sarah was ferocious. She grabbed the back of his head so he couldn't escape. (He wouldn't even think of it anyway) She licked her tongue to Chuck lips requesting entrance which Chuck obliged. Their tongues were dancing to Sarah's satisfaction. She was moaning. She waited too long for this moment damn it! She abruptly stopped and Chuck panicked a little. She had to reassure him quickly.
"Chuck, baby. I need..."
"Baby?" He did his eyebrow dance that drove her crazy!
"Yes, baby. Problem with that?" She said in a mock glaring tone.
"Uh...no...no...I have no problem with that...honey." His grin was about to crack his face.
Her mouth gaped with shock. It was the most beautiful thing he's ever said to her. A term of endearment. That's it. No more fooling around.
"Chuck, don't freak out. I need you to do something, ok? Yeah, baby. Look at me...that's right baby, look at me."
Chuck just stared at her blue orbs. He was lost in them. He swallowed and waited for Sarah to finish was she wanted to say.
"Baby, I need you to make love to me. Now." It wasn't a request. I was an order.
Chuck couldn't believe his ears. Here's this stunning woman telling him to make love to her. Sarah knew exactly what Chuck was thinking.
"Yeah, yeah, I'm glad we didn't do it in Barstow. It would've been just sex. Though I would have still loved it, it wouldn't have been making love." Sarah was now teary eyed. Her voice was full of emotion. "So Chuck, would you please give me the honor of making love to me?" Her eyes pleading.
Chuck couldn't stand it anymore. He was going to make love to this woman. He simply said in a whisper. "Yes."
"Baby, be gentle. It's been a while. It's going to feel like if it's the very first time."
"Yes, Sarah". She raised her eyebrow. "Uh yes...honey." He said in a sheepish grin. She smiled. Please with herself. Chuck loved it.
Chuck carefully entered her. Going very slowly but Sarah had never felt anything like that before. "Oh my God!" She screamed. She arched her back and moaned...too loudly. Chuck laughed and quickly kissed her so he can smother her sexy moans. Sarah was in too much in extasy to even care.
"Uh, honey?"
"mmmmph...ohmygogohmygogohmygod!"
"You gotta keep it a little low. The neighbors will hear."
"Omph meph gawph! frup de nehbers!"
She wasn't clear because Chuck was smothering his mouth with hers, which she didn't mind at all. More Chuck.
He was now picking up the pace. Sarah's eyes went wide open. Her head fell back with her mouth open and gripped the bed sheets. She was now yelling Chuck's name and OMG! She was grinding and pulsating her hips. She was getting close and so was Chuck. He was going faster and they were on the edge. She arched her back and screamed Chuck's name. Chuck kept on going. Her head was moving left to right in rapid pace. She was shaking with more screaming like she was possessed! It was the hottest thing he has ever seen and heard. Sarah was losing her mind! Sarah noticed Chuck slowing down. She knew what he was thinking.
" Ba...bab..y...d...d...don't...worry...OMG!...(rapid breathing) c...c...ome...inssside...meeeee! That got him going again. That increased the already mind blowing pleasure she was getting. They were getting very close. "Chuck, give me your babies!" He didn't need to be asked twice. He kept pounding away. Sarah thought she was going to pass out. The pleasure was too intense. She needed to come before she really did pass out. She gave Chuck a suttle signal. He nodded. They looked at each others pleasured faces and they came at the same time. Both moaning each others names. Sarah felt Chuck's warm love juices inside her and Chuck felt her orgasm. After they came, they started to relax. But they were both still breathing hard. Chuck rested on top of her and Sarah put her hand on her mouth and the other on Chuck's back. She was beyond stunned. She had no effin' idea what just happened! It felt like an avalanche of constant multiple orgasms. She has never felt anything like that before, ever. She was still breathing heavily.
Tears streaked her face. She quietly said. "Oh my God...oh my God...oh my God..." Much to Chuck's delight. Grinning, he asked her.
"Soooo...how did I do?"
She arched her eyebrow at him. 'uh oh.'
"You're kidding, right? Baby, that was the most incredible, mind blowing, erotic, sexy and above all, love making I have ever had. What you did to me..." She was shaking her head. She was still in deep shock. "...was indescribable. My entire body was convulsing. WTF did you do?" She shook her head again and she whispered..."You're a keeper."
Chuck gave her with a flat look. "Gee...thanks, honey. Thanks for keeping me."
She laughed and gave him a searing kiss and then she became serious. "Look at me. Baby, you are my life. Do you know that?" Chuck's mouth fell open. 'What?'
"YOU are my everything, baby. I need you to know that, ok?"
Chuck was speechless. Here's this stunning super kick ass ninja woman, telling him that he's her everything. He just nodded with tears coming down his face. Sarah was crying too. She was so happy. They stayed in bed into the early morning cuddling. But she had to clear something up. Something that was bothering her. Something that he needed to know once and for all. This was killing her. They just made love and now she's going to spring this on him. Sarah was laying her head on Chuck's chest. She sighed. Here's goes nothing...
"Baby?"
"mmmm?"
"I want you to know..."
Chuck tensed up.
She had to tell him quickly before he spirals and thinks the worst.
"Baby, I want to apologize."
"Apologize? For what?" He was starting to panic.
Now, she was crying. "F...for...judging you for killing the mole. At least I thought you did. I...I...thought you'd change and not be my lovable Chuck." Chuck lowered both his arms to held her tight. "How can I be so stupid? You loved me no matter what! You knew what I have done! The killings! The assassinations! You knew all this and you still loved me! And here I am judging you when I thought you killed the mole. What a hypocrite I am." She cried again. "Are you sure you want to be with a ruthless killer who judged you for doing something so you can be an agent and for us to be together? And then, drop you like a hot potato because you did what you had to do so we can be together?" She was bawling. "Some piece of...of...work I am." Chuck held her tighter.
She then whispered. "I don't deserve you."
Talk about sudden change of events. They just had mind blowing love making and now this. He figured that it's something she had to get off her mind or she'll never move on. That this will eat her alive and destroy their future. So, he slowly raised himself up and sat on the bed looking at her.
'This is it, he's leaving me.'
Sarah was looking down, fidgeting with her hands and he raised her head with his thumb. Her tear streaked face broke his heart. He had to end this and end this now.
"Sarah...honey. That's all in the past. Even though you were leaving with Shaw, I still loved you" She started crying again. "Shhshhshh...no honey. Please don't cry anymore. I hate seeing you cry. Honey, love conquers all. With love, we can beat anything. This whole Shaw incident proves it. Love wins. Ok, honey?" She looked deeply into Chuck's eyes and saw nothing but love. She just nodded. She was too overcome to say anything.
"That's it, honey. Now, let's go have breakfast because all this lovin' issa makin' me hangry."
She guffawed at that and kissed him dearly. But this kiss was different. This kiss was tender and with a promise to always love and fight for each other. That nothing will stand in their way. She shook her head. She still couldn't believe how lucky she was to have an incredible understanding loving man. She still thought she didn't deserve him, but Chuck is teaching her that indeed she does. Baby steps, but she'll get there.
With a gigantic grin. "Baby?"
Chuck looked back and grinned also. "Yeah?"
"When we finish eating, I'd like to exercise after, you know, we need to keep in shape."
"Sure, honey. Where would you like to exercise?"
Sarah gave her version of the eyebrow dance. He looked confused and then it hit him. "Oh...oh!"
She laughed
Yep. Her new chapter in life has finally started. Her life with Charles Irving Bartowski. She wants to have that name someday...hopefully soon.
FIN.
