I don't own any of this Loud House belongs to Nickelodeon.
Earth, 50 million years later
Our planet is once again a blue and green ball of life, around its orbit satellites and space junk are gone due to being pulled back to Earth with the combination of solar flares and the Earth's gravitational pull.
The continents have changed; South America has broken off from North America while it has drifted closer to Asia. Antarctica has moved north and showed green, Europe is beginning to break up from Asia. Australia has moved closer to Japan. Africa drifted right and has formed a land bridge with Madagascar.
New environments have also spawned in places that would surprise us if we were still around. The Amazon is no longer a rainforest, but instead it's a Savannah, Death Valley is a lush forest, Mongolia is a rainforest, and in the area where Loch Loud was once located is a mountain range.
The Earth has definitely changed after our time on the planet and environments isn't the only change, as its also a new era in Earth's history called Masario. In this time the Earth is much more warmer than today and new species of animals have quickly filled in for the creatures that were taken out from the mass extinction.
Royal Woods is now a valley surrounded by a mountain range with some that are volcanoes. In the valley; tall trees cover a forest, if the Louds were around at this time, Lana would've enjoyed climbing the trees. Of course if they were around today, the Louds would have to have gills since the sight of where their house used to be is at the bottom of a lake. The house is long gone, but the top of Lisa's fallout shelter can be seen as fish swam around it.
Up on the surface; a herd of animals are mingling around near the shore, the animals drank from the water or stood up on their hind legs and used their arms to pull down branches to eat the leafs.
These animals are called; Racas. They evolved from the descendants of rabbits and they are big, they had small, floppy rabbit-like ears, and a mouth design to chew through the toughest plants.
Near the Raca herd is a spiky covered herbivore that is eating the low shrubs. This spiky, armored animal is a Sarla; a animal that is descendant from surprisingly hamsters. Their spikey armor is used for defense against the hungry carnivores that are around every corner, such as one of the most deadliest predators that live in the area; the Claw Foot.
It's a bird where instead of wings, it has long arms with three sharp claws at the end of its hands and curved toe claws on its foot, they have green feathers for camouflage, and a beak full of razor like teeth. The Claw Foot is about the size of a human, and despite it's small size, they are deadly, especially since they hunt in packs.
Today the Claw Foot is hiding in the thick vegetation, stalking the Raca herd with lots of patience, opening up its mouth a bit to let out some droll. The Claw Foot bursts through the vegetation at great speed, alarm is immediately rang out through the herd, making them go into a stampede, suddenly another Claw Foot comes out from the sidelines.
It jumps on to a Raca's side, digging its toe claws into the herbivore. The Raca shifts and shakes to get the predator off him, but then the other one jumps on him as well, where it bites down on the neck as it kicks with its claws as well. Eventually with the combination of shock and blood loss, the Raca collapses dead and plus the Claw Foots have themselves a nice meal that'll last them for days.
Royal Woods has definitely changed since the Louds time, but it is still as loud and chaotic as ever.
On Madagascar; although much of everything that was made by humans is wiped away by nature, we still have a relative that made it through the extinction.
In the thickest part of the dense jungle, hanging on a tree is a primate about the size of a modern day lemur. This primate has long, floppy arms and legs, it has no tail making it a ape and like any primate it's intelligent.
This particular ape is an adult male, he uses his long fingers to climb up to a branch in order to get a fruit that only grows this high. He picks up the largest fruit with his mouth and then jumped off the branch, this isn't a suicide jump, for the floppy part of his arms and legs allows him to glide. It's a great evolutionary trait as it helps him avoid walking on the forest floor where dangerous predators lurk.
He lands from tree to tree, until he makes it to the tree that holds a community of these primates. Landing on a branch, he now climbs down to a branch that holds the nest that held his large family.
His family is very notable as this family had ten girls and one boy with white fur, they all had different personalities that made them the loudest among the tree. One of the girls is very silent however, and tends to sneak up on other members of her primate community, she also has black fur that's long enough to cover her eyes.
The male comes in with the fruit, his mate comes over and affectionately gave him a nuzzle. The male then sets down the fruit and in the next second his children swarmed it like piranhas, the only son manages to get a piece of fruit and safely gets to a spot where he can eat in peace.
As he ate his fruit, the white hair primate glances over to the setting sun in the horizon that closes the day of this new world created by an apocalypse so long ago.
And so one world is destroyed and another is created, plus bringing an end to this story.
I wanted to make an apocalypse story for the Loud House for quite awhile now, but I didn't want to do it with zombies as that's already been done a lot, so that got me thinking of something that could actually happen in real life and be way worse than a simple zombie apocalypse.
So I turned to space and while there are plenty of things up there that are way worse than an asteroid, like a gamma ray burst or black hole, I just went for the asteroid as its my favorite of apocalyptic scenarios as imagine one day everything is normal, then bam! the whole world changes in an instant.
I didn't want to take it lightly as really this or any other apocalyptic event would be very serious, which is why the story got darker and depressing for really it would be a depressing time in human history.
But after all this, the story is finally finished and I hope you all had a nice time reading it.
