Hi, Jell-O Squares. As you can see, this is not a chapter update. It's an author's update for YOU!
Don't worry, this isn't an announcement that this story is cancelled. It's not. I started it, and I have a responsibility to finish it. Soon the next chapter will be posted.
You guys have been absolutely wonderful, and so encouraging. You always make me want to write and write better. But you should know, my motivation for writing for The Flash is almost completely depleted. I love these characters and this story, and I do have it all planned out, and you will see Savitar and Caitlin reunited. Don't worry. But when I sit down to write this story, it's more of a struggle and less of a joy. I love you guys, readers, and I love reading your reviews and hearing your thoughts, and I want to write you something amazing, something worthy of your loyalty and your intelligence, but I'm not there right now. I'm trying!But in case you were wondering why it's taking so long for this story to be updated, this is me telling you why: I can't force myself to want to write for it. That makes for bad writing, at least in my experience. So it'll be slow going, and this will be updated, but not as soon as you think. I'm having a hard time wanting to write. Please be patient and know that I haven't given up!
You can tell me what you think of this in the review section, if you'd like. I imagine you're disappointed and I hate that! But I don't want to give you bad writing; I'd rather take my time and make sure it's actually good. If I'm not doing my best every time I write, I won't improve. And I'll turn my favorite thing [writing] into something I resent, and nobody wants that. Least of all me! So the next chapter is coming, just not very quickly.
