Summary
Gorou gets on well with his soldiers and in turn they have great respect for him. But one thing that the general is concerned about is how he is so much more frail and smaller than his subordinates. This gives way to a lot of dark and painful nightmares that engulf Gorou until all hope is lost. Is there anyone who can save him from his own insecurities?

Gorou is the main character of this fic. Most chapters contain (imagined and real) interactions with mob characters. Male Traveller also appears in several chapters. Kokomi appears in one chapter and is mentioned in a few chapters.

I apologize for making such a depressing story about Gorou despite how few fanfics he has, I hope others will write some more for him because he deserves all the love in the world! I also apologize for making the dreams sluttier than they should be, and for making Gorou slightly OOC (angstier)
