A/N: Behold, the first new story of 2022, hope it's a good one for you guys!

It was a normal day at home so far as everybody was doing their own thing. That was, until Akito and Estelle came over to see LJ and Zofia to check their schedules as their bracelets had been glowing for a while and they had answered a call from the distant future and were asked about something, so they came to see their cousins to see if they were busy or not with anything.

"Children?" Cherry called after she let the Fudo twins come inside. "Someone's here to see you."

"Oh?" asked LJ as he and Zofia came downstairs. "Well, who is it?"

Cherry soon walked off to show them.

"Akito! Estelle!" LJ and Zofia smiled at the Fudo twins.

"Hey, guys!" Akito and Estelle smiled back.

"Glad to see you," LJ said. "So, what's up?"

"We got a call from Zadavia and Uncle Planet," Estelle replied. "They want us to come see them as soon as possible."

"Well, alright then," Zofia nodded. "Maybe we should come with you. It might be less stressful for the co-authors to write for so many OCs, so maybe let's just keep it at us four."

Akito and Estelle had an aside glance before shrugging.

"That works out anyway," Akito replied. "Thanks to special and future technology from Acmetropolis, Vincent was able to beam himself and his cat Snow White up to New York City to be with Jenny and Oliver."

"It'll keep 'em busy for a while." Estelle giggled from that.

"And everyone else is busy with other stuff," LJ added. "So let's get rolling!"

Akito and Estelle nodded before hitting their bracelets which made the four of them all glow before they soon disappeared from their place and were beamed up, Star Trek-style, over to where Zadavia was with Captain Planet and their now older twin children: Maxima and Maximus.

"You don't think they'll be mad once they find out why we asked them to come here, do you?" Zadavia asked her husband.

"I'm sure they won't be mad," Captain Planet replied. "Especially Estelle, she's an expert in this sort of thing."

A few minutes later, the four adventurers appeared inside the room.

"Oh, good timing." Zadavia smiled.

"What's up, Zadavia?" Akito asked. "Did Optimatus go rogue again? Is Deuce back for more? Are there evil descendants of Mickey and Minnie Mouse going against Ace and Lexi Bunny?"

"No, no, nothing like that," Zadavia replied. "Actually, we need you to babysit."

"...Say what now?" asked LJ, doing a double-take.

"That's a big emergency?" Akito asked.

"I have to agree, that is quite strange." Zofia added.

"I know, but we need a babysitter," Zadavia replied. "Ixta went with that Eddie Horton boy."

"Well, what about Lloyd Nebulon's family?" Estelle asked. "Aren't the twins friends with Francine?"

"They're busy as well," Captain Planet replied. "I'm sorry for the strange request, but it would really mean a lot to us."

"Well... Alright..." LJ relented.

"Thank you." Zadavia and Captain Planet beamed.

"Sorry, guys, we didn't know this was why they called." Akito said to his cousins.

"You're not mad, right?" Estelle added.

"...I guess no..." Zofia replied. "...I just hope looking after them isn't too difficult."

"Other than feeling kinda gypped? I'm fine." LJ shrugged.

"Are you going somewhere?" Estelle asked Captain Planet and Zadavia.

"Yes, we'll be going out to dinner and a little dancing," Zadavia smiled. "Also... We're hoping that this goes alright with the twins..." she then said softly. "It's sometimes hard to leave them, especially with how young they are, so they're still a little attached."

"I see..." LJ replied.

"It shouldn't be too hard," Captain Planet smiled. "Especially with Maximus who has his own hero he looks up to and already knows what he wants to be when he grows up."

"Buzz Lightyear to the rescue!" A voice called as the blonde boy was sitting in his playroom, playing with his favorite action figure while his green-haired sister played with her own toys.

"Well, all right," Estelle said to Captain Planet and Zadavia. "You guys have fun and don't worry about a thing."

The both of them waved to the group as they left.

LJ groaned as he flopped onto the floor. "So... Whaddo we do now?" he asked.

"Where are Mama and Daddy?" Maxima asked.

"...They... Uh... They left..." Zofia said, a bit bluntly.

"WHAT?!" The twins cried out before rushing to the window to see that their parents were leaving which made them flip out. "NO! DON'T LEAVE! TAKE US WITH YOU!"

"You may be older than me, but you have NO tact whatsoever, you know that?" LJ told his sister as he got to his feet.

"What, do you want me to lie?" Zofia shrugged.

"Shh... Shh... It's okay..." Estelle soothed the twins as they cried about their parents. "It's okay... It's okay... Seriously, Zofia, you should work on your caretaker skills."

"Sorry." Zofia muttered softly.

"Simple," LJ told her before turning to the kids. "Well, your parents are out for a while on some important business, so they've entrusted us to look after you two."

Maxima and Maximus both looked unsure, especially Maximus as he hugged his Buzz Lightyear doll.

"Now, Akito, is there a list of things to do?" Estelle asked. "Most new people I babysit leave a list of tasks to do with the kids."

Akito looked around, then found one, but it was on a tablet of course. "Yep, here it is," he then told his twin sister. "This looks pretty good. Let's get you guys some dinner, then we'll play for a little while before we do what you guys do every night: watch Buzz Lightyear of Star Command before bed," he then looked at Maximus. "You're a Buzz fan, right?"

"...Uh-huh," Maximus nodded as he hugged his favorite toy. "I wanna be a Space Ranger when I grow up."

"Well, that's a neat goal to set for yourself," Estelle replied. "The universe could always use more Space Rangers. Maybe you could be the next Buzz Lightyear!"

"Wow..." Maximus whispered in awestruck. "The next Buzz Lightyear."

"What about you?" Estelle asked Maxima. "What do you like to do?"

"Hm... I like that girl friend of his," Maxima said as she brought out her own doll of a redheaded alien girl. "Mira Nova."

"Ah, yes... The one with the intangibility-Er, phasing through walls power." LJ replied.

"I suppose..." LJ replied as he looked through the shelves of the fridge.

"How about Star Soup?" Estelle smiled. "That sounds good."

"I wish we could have cookies first." Maximus smirked.

"Sorry, but that's not how that works." Akito smirked back.

"Oh, I have tried that when I was your age..." Zofia added. "I had quite the sweet tooth."

"Yep," LJ nodded. "I guess star soup it is, then."

Akito nodded back. Zofia then decided to cook it up as Akito, Estelle, and LJ began to play with the twins. Of course, they didn't realize, as predictable enough, the babysitting would lead to a brand new adventure once the movie would start.

At least a half hour came and went before the soup was finished cooking.

"Soup's on!" Zofia announced with a chef hat on her head.

Maxima and Maximus slowly came to the kitchen table to eat, though they still felt sad about their parents being gone.

"Hey, it's gonna be okay," Akito smiled. "Your parents will be back, plus you'll have a lot of fun with us."

"Yeah," LJ added. "We might not be from this era, but we still know lots about having fun!"

"Remember, no toys at the table," Estelle told the twins. "I promise, you can play with them later."

The twins glanced over and soon did what Estelle asked of them as they began to eat their soup.

"Can we watch The Daisy Droid Girls?" Maxima asked.

"Maybe before you guys watch Buzz Lightyear if you're good enough," Zofia smiled softly. "...Even if I have no idea what that show is."

Maxima gasped dramatically from that in a way that could rival some of Zofia's hammiest moments herself. "You never heard of The Daisy Droid Girls?" she then asked. "In the name of all the pretty flowers and cute puppies in the universe, they are the Daisy Droid Girls!" she then proclaimed as she did a superhero pose.

"Uh, you do know we're from the 21st Century, right?" LJ asked. "So naturally, we have ZERO idea what that is... Though it sounds very similar to The Powerpuff Girls, which was a trio of superheroes back in our time period."

"They're young, they'll learn." Estelle advised.

"The Daisy Droid Girls are a trio of crime-fighting robot girls," Maxima said as she brought out her tablet to show them a holographic image of three robot girls who nearly resembled Blossom, Bubbles, and Buttercup back from the 21st century. "They were invented by Dr. Neutronium to protect their world from the forces of evil before shutdown time."

"Yeah, pretty much the Powerpuff Girls from the future." Zofia remarked.

"I love them as much as Maximus probably likes Buzz Lightyear." Maxima beamed.

"Okay, pretty cool." LJ nodded as he ate his soup.

Everyone ate the soup which was actually pretty good once they got used to it, though the younger twins were used to it of course.

"Feed dinner... Check." Estelle smiled as she tapped the task on the tablet to make it go away as it was done.

"Alright, whaddo we got next on the list?" asked LJ.

"Hmm..." Estelle paused before she saw the next item on the list. "Ah, yes. We'll play for a little while, and then it'll be time to get ready for Buzz Lightyear and time for bed."

Zofia looked nervous about playing with Maximus and Maxima as she didn't have a lot of babysitting skills, unlike Estelle.

"Alright, so whaddya wanna play first?" asked LJ.

Maxima and Maximus looked at each other before shrugging. "Video games?" they both suggested.

"Video games sound great," Akito beamed. "Let's see what ya got."

They soon began to play a virtual and holographic video game together that starred Silver the Hedgehog as opposed to Sonic.

"I guess it makes sense it'd have Silver as the main character," LJ stated as he tried to figure out the controls. "Considering that he's from the future..."

"Yeah, that makes sense." Zofia nodded.

"I feel like Grandma and Grandpa right now." Akito said as he held his controller.

"Don't worry, you'll get the hang of it." Maximus told them.

"Man, I don't understand these crazy new consoles..." LJ grunted.

"It was crazy enough when they made those remotes that make you get up and move with them." Zofia muttered herself.

The young twins luckily had a lot of fun with their new friends even though they still missed their parents very much. Eventually, gaming time had come to a close for the night.

"Alright... Now for movies." Akito declared.

"Buzz?" Maximus asked.

"Yes," Estelle nodded. "Let's get you washed up and in your PJs so we can watch your little movie."

Maxima and Maximus began to go off to get ready for bed.

"You're pretty good at this." Akito smiled at LJ.

"Thanks..." LJ replied.

"I practice at Kimberly's whenever I help with her younger brother."

"I don't know if I can do this anymore." Zofia frowned.

"You just have to practice, Zo," Estelle replied. "It'll get easier. I might be a professional babysitter myself like Kim Possible used to be, but it took me a while to get there," she then said as she showed her Facebook page for her babysitting services. "I learned a lot from our old friend, Barbie."

"Hmm... Maybe..." Zofia paused thoughtfully. "I guess at least it's just for one night."

"There ya go!" Estelle replied.

Zofia smiled calmly.

"They also seem to be such nice kids, they just miss their parents," Akito said. "They'll get used to this eventually, I'm sure, and so will you."

"Gratitudes," Zofia nodded as she liked the sound of that. "Hopefully the show is good too."

Akito, Estelle, and LJ smiled a bit as Zofia began to cheer up a little.

Eventually, Maxima and Maximus were ready to go as they held onto their dolls of Mira Nova and Buzz Lightyear so that they could watch their show before they would go to sleep.

"Okay... Now to find the video," LJ said as he searched around. "Um... Where is it, normally?"

"You have to push the blue star button on the table." Maxima replied.

"Uh... Blue star?" LJ asked as he looked around.

Maximus pointed out to the table.

"Oh, okay," LJ said before pushing the button. "Let's get this show on the road."

Suddenly, the button showed a bright light before the TV turned on as holographic images appeared and the Buzz Lightyear show was about to start, but they would end up in the beginning, and it would start a new adventure for all of them, which would be a lot of fun for the young twins, no doubt.
