Chapter 7
The next day, the boys were at breakfast. They were laughing at what they saw last night. "What a crazy night! Ii never thought they actually had a ritual!" Frank laughed while putting bacon on his plate. The others joined him. "
Yeah, some Indian dance they did." James chuckled.
"Well it's a fact, you're the wanted Marauder, Moony, not me!" Siruis mocked a cry.
"Keep your pants on, mate! You have one girl on your mind anyway." Frank reminded him.
"You're right, my friend." Sirius grinned.
"Your girlfriend is a great dancer, Prongs." Remus chuckled and took a sip of is pumpkin juice. James grinned goofily.
"Yeah, I guess she is. I never thought this day would come; the day Lily finally agreed to be with me." They looked at the entrance of the Great Hall and saw the girls approaching their table with their new addition.
"Hey cousin!" Natalie smiled at James. He greeted her and looked at Lily. James and Lily shared a kissed as Genevieve, Bo and Sirius clapped and whistled. The others chuckled and they all began eating breakfast. They departed afterwards to their classes, and had a regular day.
In Transfiguration, Bo and Lily sat together, and Sirius and James behind them. "Prongs, I don't know what to do about her." He whispered and nodded to Bo's direction.
James looked at her and said "You should talk to her mate. Don't give up." Sirius pushed back a lock of hair behind his ear and took out a small piece of parchment:
'Bo,
We need to talk. When and where?
Sirius'
He poked Bo in the back, and they shared a quick look at each other as she took the parchment from him. She read it and replied: 'Meet me at the common room after dinner.' Sirius took it back, read it and nodded.
After class, Lily asked her "What did he want?"
"He wants to talk to me."
"About what?"
Bo shook her head "I don't know." Deep down she knew it was about the kiss, but she had to admit that she was quite nervous about tonight.
There was tension at the dinner table. Sirius and Bo kept exchanging looks, Remus seemed deep in thought, and Peter was nowhere in sight. It was too quiet for Genevieve's liking. She smashed her glass on the table, making everyone startle. "What is the matter with you guys?" she asked angrily.
James confessed. "We were in your room last night."
Alice gasped.
"Did you hear everything?" Sarah asked. Remus looked at her and nodded. Natalie and Sarah exchanged looks.
"That means you saw everything as well!" Bo said. The boys nodded.
"Nice moves, by the way." James grinned at Bo and Lily. They loosened the tension by laughing.
After they finished eating, Bo and Sirius went together to the common room. They sat down on one of the couches. "Listen, about that kiss…" Sirius began but was cut off.
"Look, you really hurt my feelings when you said you liked me, and for what? For some hanky panky! I thought you came to your senses and changed. But I was wrong."
There was a pregnant pause, and she continued "But what happened with Chris opened my eyes. It made me see that you might actually have feelings for me, that you care about me." Sirius stood up from the couch. He looked at her and replied
"You know I do. I'll never hurt you, and I'll always respect you. I hope you know that." He had his hands in his pockets. Bo smiled and looked into his gray orbs.
To her and his surprise, she got up and kissed him. Sirius broke the kiss and asked "So I'm not an arrogant idiot anymore?" Bo chuckled and shook her head.
"You're my idiot." They shared a laugh and kissed again.
"Well, well, well…splendid job Padfoot!" They turned to see their friends, smirking at the scene.
"Likewise, Prongs!" Sirius nodded to Lily, accompanied with James. The gang entered the common room. Natalie took one look at Remus and climbed the stairs to her room. Sarah, who stood next to Remus, glanced at him and blushed. She grabbed Alice's hand and dragged her to their room. Sarah and Natalie weren't on speaking terms, due to their confessions.
Remus, looking at her direction, sighed. "I don't know what I'm going to do. She and Natalie confessed that they like me. Sarah can understand me because she's my kind and Natalie, on the other hand, couldn't." He sat on a chair and had his head between his hands. Genevieve kneeled in front of him and comforted him. "Remmy, don't worry. You have to follow what your heart desires."
Sirius blurted out "Maybe you should try and date both of them at the same time!"
He and Bo shared a cheeky smile while she playfully punched him on the shoulder. "Only time will tell, Moony." James reassured.
Remus nodded. "I guess you're right."
