Chapter 8

Three months have passed and it was Valentine's Day. A day of love, romance, and to some it was just a normal day. James and Sirius were deeply in love with their girlfriends. They were celebrating their 3 month anniversary with their girlfriends. The two of them came up with a devious plan for that special day, and it was also the day of their Hogsmeade trip.

Lily and Bo thought at least they would sit at 'Madam Puddifoot's Tea Shop', the ultimate place for couples, but in vain. They weren't cheesy girls who expected corny presents, but at least something small and meaningful. They spotted Frank and Alice kissing on a bench nearby. Disgruntled and slightly jealous, Lily and Bo stopped at Honeydukes to buy candy. They tried to comfort themselves with candy and clothes, but with no luck.

"I don't get it. Maybe they're playing a prank on us?" Bo wondered.

Lily shook her head. "I'm not sure, but he'll regret this." She said, referring to James.

"What did you buy for him?" Bo asked her.

"A t-shirt of his favorite Quidditch team and new equipment for his broom. What did you get for Sirius?"

"A leather jacket with his initials on the back and maybe I'll add something sexy."

"Do tell!" Lily urged her.

Bo smirked "Well, if everything turns out to be a surprise, I'll surprise him with something sexy in return." They giggled.

Lily got serious for a moment "Are you sure about this?"

Bo smiled and nodded "The guy is mad about me!"

"That I know. Is it mutual?"

Bo replied "Yes, I have deep feelings for Sirius."

"And to think he once was a 'conceited prick'." Lily said.

"Well, once James was an 'arrogant toe rag'." They laughed.

Remus received Valentine cards from both Natalie and Sarah. He didn't give a card to neither of them. He knew they weren't talking to each other; they had a big fight in the common room, when Natalie invited Remus to the library and when Sarah sat next to him at dinner. 'They are both great girls', He admitted to himself. Natalie is more outspoken, while Sarah is timid. They look physically different as well: Natalie glows with her hazel eyes and dark black hair, while Sarah radiates with her olive green eyes and dirty blond hair. He doesn't want to be the cause of their quarrel. He needed to talk to them. Together.

Frank and Alice had a wonderful day at the tea shop. They sat at a bench, laughing at a joke he told. Frank looked deep into her eyes, searched for love and respect, and found it. For a long time, he pondered over a significant decision and decided he will ask her.

"Alice, my dear, I want to tell you something."

Alice looked at him "Alright."

Frank continued "Well, I have a plan what to do after Hogwarts. Maybe become a professor of Herbology at Hogwarts, or a healer." Alice encouraged him "Oh honey, that's wonderful!" Frank smiled "But I need a special lady to be beside me. To love, to cherish me."

Before Alice could reply, Frank got down on one knee "Alice Stewart, will you marry me?" Bystanders were gathering around the couple.

Alice, stunned and delighted, cried out "YES! I will!" The couple hugged and their audience cheered.

Frank and Alice stopped and looked around to see the surprised people. Frank said "She's going to be Mrs. Longbottom!" and kissed her.

James and Sirius were going from one store to another, searching for presents for the girls. "Lily was sure in a bad mood this morning."

"And so was Bo, Padfoot."

"I know, but eventually, it will get better." Sirius said as James grinned at him. Sirius bought a beautiful necklace with a rose pendant. James was having a problem what to buy for Lily. They entered another store and there he saw the perfect gift: a silver love charm bracelet, with hearts and her initials.

"It's great, man." Sirius smiled at him.

The girls went back to the castle, to their room. They found 2 letters: one for Bo and the other for Lily.

'Bo,

Happy Valentine's Day! Hope you had a great day at Hogsmeade. I'm sorry about today, for my behavior. I promise that I'll make it up to you tonight. Dress warm.

I love you.

Lily looked over to Bo's letter "James wrote something similar, expect for the 'dress warm' part. "Well, we'll just have to wait for tonight."

Lily nodded "Which is not long from now. Let's get ready." Bo agreed.

She wore torn jeans, a black T-shirt and her favorite coat. She took his present as well and left to meet him. Sirius soon met up with her. They shared a kiss and he quickly apologized again about today.

"It's alright, really." She noticed he was holding a cloak. She knew who it belonged to. "You took James' cloak?"

He smirked "Borrowed it. Your surprise is outside of school grounds."

"You've got to be kidding me!" He shook his head, held her hand and pulled the cloak over them. After a few minutes, he pulled off the cloak.

"Do you mind telling me where we're going?" They were standing in the middle of the woods, and nearby she saw a cabin.

Sirius pointed at the cabin "We're here." In the cabin she saw a fireplace, and opposed to it a green couch. The kitchen was the closest to the door. She decided to take a little tour. She entered the most beautiful bedroom, quite prestige for a cabin. Sirius hugged her from behind and kissed her neck. "This is one heck of a surprise."

He smiled "I knew you'd love it." They left to sit in the living room. She gave him her present.

"Babe, you shouldn't have!"

Bo shrugged and smiled "I wanted to."

He opened the bag and grinned "Wow! A leather jacket! Wicked! Thanks" He kissed her.

He gave her his present, the necklace. "It's lovely! Thank you." She kissed him. She looked deep into his eyes and said "I love you, Sirius Black."

He gazed into her eyes and replied "I love you too, Bo Carter." They shared a passionate kiss, and the situation soon became hot and heavy.

Bo wanted him to go on, but he suddenly stopped. "Are you sure about this?" She breathed heavily and nodded. He picked her up, and closed the bedroom door behind them.

James waited for Lily in the common room. He heard someone walking down the stairs. He looked to see his red headed goddess walking over to him. They kissed. "Hey Lily flower."

She smiled at him. "Hey yourself."

"Listen, I'm so sorry about today. I was inconsiderate and an idiot."

Lily shook her head. "It doesn't matter now."

James smiled before saying "Take my hand." She raised an eyebrow, but took his hand anyway.

"Where are we going?" They dashed out from the room. Secretly, they arrived to the Room of Requirements. Lily and James were panting from their running.

"That was thrilling! We actually made it without getting caught!"

James mocked shock and gasped "You broke a law!"

Lily turned her head back to him, and seductively walked over to a near sofa "Well, sometimes you need to in order to have some fun." Drunk from her words and posture, he followed her with a love-sick look on his face. They sat on the sofa and exchanged gifts.

"Who are you, and what have you done with my Lily?" she smiled and kissed him

"Well, you seem to have an influence on me." He smiled back and kissed her passionately. Lily stopped the kiss and admired her bracelet he bought her.

"Thank you." He thanked her back. She went to the bathroom and gasped. There was a huge bathroom with unlit candles around the big bathtub. She went back to inform James.

"There's a hug bathtub! Honey, do you mind if I take a bath?" She paused for a moment. "Unless you would like to join me." She blushed while offering. James was surprised and nodded unconsciously.

"Come along, then."

She first arranged the candles, and then the water and the bubbles. He soon came after her. She was with her back to him, and started to undress. He inspected every inch of her body 'She's so beautiful', he thought to himself as he took off his shirt. She was nude and entered the tub. "The water's fine." She said while she waited for James to undress. The girl who he constantly courted, badgered, and loved was in a bathtub in front of him! He froze while he intently looked at her. His thoughts were cut off by her giggle. He shook his head "Are you coming in?" James regained his composure and nodded 'It's no big deal.' He took off his pants, 'It's only Lily. Especially Lily.' He took off his underwear and joined her. She laughed.

"Why are you laughing?"

"Your hair is messy even when it's wet."

"Oh, so you're laughing at that?" Lily nodded and kept laughing.

"I'll get you for this!" He splashed her and she splashed him back.

They had a water fight, and they were physically closer than ever. She was laughing hysterically and so was he, but to soon stopped when they realized their closeness. He was tempted not to look down, to catch a glance at her breasts. He was having a hard time, restraining his sexual drives. She stroked his face and noticed his struggle. "James, look at me." He complied.

"This isn't like you. I've never seen you nervous like this."

James sighed "I know. It's just that I was never like this around other girls but with you, it's different. I have true feelings for you. I don't want to mess this up or to rush into things. I love you."

Lily listened carefully. "I love you too." and they shared a steamy kiss. Before James could take it to a further step, she stopped the kiss. "I don't want to rush into things. You're right. We'll have other opportunities to do this."

James, deep down was disgruntled, but he knew she was right. He nodded and she stood up, took a towel and left the bathtub. James was aroused yet a bit disappointed and found himself taking a very cold shower. When he finished, he dried himself and put on pajamas. He looked for Lily, and then found her sound asleep in a bed she found. Smiling, he joined her.
