AN:

Thanks a lot to everyone who read the last chapter and for the Guest review! Glad you thought this was a funny idea :)

Anyway, my dumb ass did the math wrong and I forgot I had written this as 12 days left plus the first chapter. So, instead of Christmas Eve, this story will end on Christmas day. Sorry, hope you still like it.

Anyways, 12 days left is here!

It was now or never. Gajeel was hidden behind a tree outside the girls' dorms waiting. From the moment he read Levy's name on his card, he knew he would give her a book. The problem was that she had too many of them and he wanted to give her one she didn't own.

So there he was now. Waiting for her to leave, so he could sneak inside her room and do some searching. And worst, he hadn't his partner in crime, Lily, with him because it was supposed to be a secret.

Finally, half an hour later, the said girl left the dorms and headed towards the guild.

It was his cue to run inside before someone, mainly Erza, caught him there. His fear almost came true, when he turned on a corridor and the scarlet haired girl was on the other end of it.

"Damn! That was so close!" He thought as he peeped on the corner of the wall. When he was sure that she had left started to run again to Levy's room. Finally, after losing count of how many times he got lost or almost got caught, he opened the door that, fortunately for him, was unlocked.

However, once he stepped inside, what he saw almost made him back off his idea. Her room was a library itself. She didn't need more books.

But he decided that he would get her another because he had already taken the risk of being caught. So he started to look at her books to know which she already had. But after 5 minutes that seemed forever, he gave up and decided that would just buy a random book and hope Levy didn't have it already.

Gajeel took a very careful step. He looked in every direction, making sure that there wasn't anybody that might recognize him passing around. Then, he ran into the bookshop. The risks he took for that stupid game. He, Gajeel Redfox, was risking himself to be caught in a bookshop just to buy a present because of a game.

We wished he had gotten someone else's name. Someone that might like electric guitars or something less embarrassing for him to be caught buying.

"Good morning sir. Can I help you?" An employee asked Gajeel after noticing he was looking a bit lost at the store.

"Well.." He started but stopped right after. He wanted to get Levy a good present but his pride was too much to ask for help.

"No. I can do it alone" The dragon slayer answered. So, he went again looking for a book that hopefully Levy would like. He was looking through the shelves for half an hour when suddenly he heard a voice behind him

"Ahem... Are you sure you don't want help?"

"Really?! That guy again?! Does he know how to leave someone alone? Does he know what No I don't need help means?" Gajeel thought. He really wanted to scream at the guy for bothering him but instead, he turned around, faced the tall man and said with a rather calm voice:

"Ok fine! You can help me! "

"So, sir, what kind of book are you looking for? "

" It's a Christmas present for a... Uhh... Friend."

" Ahh, you mean a girlfriend?" The man was really pissing him off

"She's not my girlfriend, understand ?!"

"I see. What kind of books does she like?"

"I don't know! Her room looks like a bookstore so she probably has every book here!"

"Ok. That's difficult... Why don't you take this one here? Lots of girls bought it." The employee asked with a book in his hand.

Well, Gajeel didn't have another option and wanted to leave the bookstore as fast as possible, so he followed the advice and took the book, hoping Levy would like it. With a present finally picked, he just had to wait for the day to give it to her.
