When Alzack saw Bisca's name on his card he thought that getting her a Christmas present would be an easy task, considering they were married. But soon, he started to realize that since they were married he would have to get her the perfect present. If someone else's name was on his card, he wouldn't have been stressing so much. But what exactly could he give her that would be considered the perfect present?

"A new cowboy hat?" He thought for himself, before dismissing the thought. She already had plenty of those. A new gun? She didn't need one either. It was more complicated than it seemed.

"Papa! Let's do a gunshots contest!" Little Asuka came running towards him with her fake gun already in her hand. There was no way Alzack could say no to his daughter. Or a gunshot contest.

"Ok, sweetie! Give me a minute to get my gun!"

As he promised, a minute after, he had his gun in his hands too and was ready for the said contest. After getting Asuka and heading outside, everything was ready and the competition started.

Some time passed when suddenly the little girl spoke:

"Papa, I have a problem"

"And what is it?" Alzack asked concerned for his daughter.

"I need help with that cards game!" Azuka said in a sad tone.

"Seems like we both have the same problem." He said, more to himself than to Azuka. "How can I help you?"

" I don't know what present I should get!" she said starting to cry a little.

" Well, I think I can solve that problem!" Said a green-haired woman that suddenly appeared.

"Mama!" Asuka screamed relieved to see her mother.

"How long have you been there?" Alzack asked his wife, surprised.

"Quite some time. I was watching the guns contest." She answered with a proud smile on her face.

"Now, Asuka, get ready. We are going to get you an amazing present to give!" Bisca said, trying to cheer her daughter up.

Azuka did as her mother told her and suddenly Alzack found himself alone again, wondering what present he would give Bisca. During the one hour that the gunshot contest with his daughter took, he had actually gotten distracted and the problem didn't even cross his mind until she had brought the matter up. That's why he loved these moments with his family.

And that's when he realized. He didn't need to get Bisca a new hat or a new gun. He gives her his love every day. The best gift he could give to her was his own and Asuka's presence every day. Still, he wanted to give her something. But instead of something new, he would give her something they already had. Something symbolic. But for that, he would have to wait until Christmas day itself.

AN 2:

Hope you got curious about the present. As I am slightly mean, now you will have to wait until Christmas day (final chapter) to know hehe. But you can always try to guess. See you tomorrow!
