AN:
Hello! I have been busy today and only had time to post today's chapter now. But here it is, I did not forget!
Enjoy and see you tomorrow!
Gray felt like the most unlucky person in the world. What could he possibly give to the master? It was such a responsibility to get a present for the master of the guild.
After thinking for some time, Gray decided that his gift would be something that could be displayed at the guild for everyone to see. And that's when he had the best idea he ever had: an ice statue of the master!
So, he arranged some space on a table, focused and did some ice make. Next, he looked at how it had turned. The statue was perfect. Happy with the result, Gray decided to get ready to go outside do some missions and enjoy the rest of these two weeks without worrying about the present. But he was wrong.
After finding his clothes (when had he taken them off?) and eating something, he was ready to leave home. That's when he looked again at his statue and saw nothing but some water. Really? The statue had melted? Well, Gray had never used his ice-making abilities for something that was supposed to last for long, so he had just figured out that his ice could melt. Now he had to think about something else.
"I know! I could paint a portrait of the master!" The ice-make mage exclaimed to himself. The only problem was that he needed a photo of the master. Where could he find one? He couldn't ask anyone, or else they would find out immediately to whom he was going to give a gift.
Soon enough he figured out that the only option would be to chase the masters around and take a picture without him knowing. Desperate, he did exactly that. He took his camera and hid outside the guild behind some bushes, looking around with his binoculars. Things were going perfectly. The master was at the end of the street. But someone ruined his plans.
"Why is Gray-Sama spying on the guild behind a tree?" Juvia asked behind him.
"Uh... I'm not spying? Why do you think that?"
"Ahh! Soo... Who's Gray-Sama's secret friend?" - She asked hopefully
"You know I can't tell you right?"
"But.. Love rival-san told that Gray-Sama would have Juvia's card!" the water mage asked a bit worried
"Did she really say that?! I'm sorry to disappoint you, but I don't have your card."
And with that, the blue-haired girl face turned into a heartbroken expression.
"But that way Juvia and Gray-sama will not get married!" - Juvia started to cry.
Gray realized that the water level was rising, so he stuffed his hands inside his pocket, searched for some seconds and took out a chocolate
"Here! It's for you." - He said, handing Juvia the chocolate in an attempt to make her stop crying.
"Gray-sama gave Juvia a present! Juvia is the happiest person in the world!" She screamed in happiness as her imagination worked.
"You know, you shouldn't spy on the others.." someone behind them said. Gray turned around and it was the master. Really? His attempt to get a photo was ruined, thanks to Juvia.
So, after the master left, he secretly entered the guild and somehow managed to get a picture of the master at the bar without anyone seeing him. Now the work was easy. He passed by a painting store on his way home, bought some paintings, paint brushes, a canvas and headed home to start working. But he was wrong again. He had a great idea, but his artistic abilities were really bad, so, after finishing he looked at the portrait and had to admit it was terrible.
However, after looking at his terrible work for a minute, he had an idea that couldn't go wrong: a big frame, so they could take a guild picture and display it on the building. That plan had no way to go wrong, and Gray wouldn't have to worry about working more that day. And, on top of that, he would get the master a present that he probably would enjoy.
