AN:

Heyy! Just wanted to thank you all who've been reading this and favourited/followed!

A week had passed and Levy was still thinking about what kind of present she would give Erza. Like everyone else, she thought first about the most obvious thing, a new set of armour, but since she didn't understand a thing about armours, it was better not to take a risk.

She was in her room, reading when she remembered the strange scene that had happened the day before. She had also been reading on her bed when suddenly someone knocked on her door. She put the book on her bed, after memorizing the page, took off her glasses and went answering the door. She was expecting it to be Lucy, to borrow her a book, or Erza. Even Cana would have surprised her less than the one standing at her door: Lily, Gajeel's exceed.

She talked to him for a while, because he wanted help with his present for Charle. And that made Levy realize that even Lily had already a present. She should hurry to find one.

But well, she still had a week, so she went back to her book. And as soon as she picked up her book, she had an idea: She didn't understand anything about armours, but she understood about books. So, why not give her a book about armours? That was a great idea.

So, the blue-haired mage got dressed and went outside, to the bookshop. When she got there, she greeted the employer, that already knew her, and started to look for the perfect book about armours. She had some difficulty in finding the right section, because, although she had a lot of books, she didn't have any about armours.

After some searching around, she found them. She picked the one who had the most appealing title to her and opened it, only to find that it was a theoric explanation about armours. Maybe Erza wouldn't like that. She already knew about armours enough, and a theoric book probably would be a little boring to her.

A little disappointed, Levy left the bookstore to go to her room again. But something on the way home caught her attention: a cake shop. Seeing that, the petit mage remembered that Erza loved strawberry cake. But instead of entering the shop and buying one, Levy decided that she would make one herself. In a hurry to get home, she started to run through the streets of magnolia. She was so distracted by the idea of the cake that suddenly she crashed into someone.

"Hey! Why are you so rushed, Levy?" Great, it was Gajeel. She would like to stay and talk to him, but the cake duty was bigger.

"Sorry, no time to talk!" She said, starting to run again, and leaving a very thoughtful Gajeel behind.

"She must have bought a new book." The dragon slayer said to no one.

Once she got home, she started to look for her recipe's book but she couldn't find it in the place it should have been.

"I swear the book was here! I haven't touched it in months!" She said, desperate while looking around. However, after 15 minutes Levy found it. In a chair, next to another book that was not remotely related to cooking.

"How did it end up here?" She thought for herself. Although her room seemed messy, she had a place defined for every book, so she first thought that someone must have entered her room. But it could also have been her. She could have been distracted and misplaced the book. I was improbable, though. Levy decided that she would worry about that later.

She opened the book and tried to find the recipe for the strawberry cake that Erza loved. She could have decided to make any strawberry cake, but she decided to make the one that she knew her friend loved. However, when she opened the book and looked at the ingredients, she saw that there were needed some very special strawberries, and they were very difficult to find.

Erza knew how to find them. The problem was that she couldn't ask her, without the red-haired getting suspicious or either keep the strawberries for herself. And with that, Levy had another idea: she would give Erza a Strawberry cake recipes' book. That way, her friend could get the special fruit and do herself her favourite cake. She just had to go back to the bookshop and get a new book, which would be much easier to find than an armour book.
