Hello again! Happy Christmas Eve everyone!
Last chapter before the end. Hope you have been enjoying this story so far!
"Why not Gray sama?" Juvia cried for herself. She, of course, wanted to get Gray's card but, for her unhappiness, she had gotten Lucy's instead.
That left the poor water mage so depressed that she forgot to get something to give Lucy on the present exchange the next day.
And every girl at the dorms made her remember that. Juvia was walking on the hallways when she heard a conversation between Wendy and Erza:
"Erza-san, I'm so excited about tomorrow! Can't wait for having everyone at the guild and exchange presents!"
"It surely will be fun. Do you have your present already?"
"Aye! What about you?"
"I will get mine tomorrow! And you Juvia?" The red-haired asked, noticing Juvia passing by. Juvia tried to pretend that she hadn't heard the question and continued walking. But she had no luck.
"Yes Juvia-San, do you have it already?" Wendy insisted. She couldn't pretend she hadn't heard the same question twice.
"Juvia wanted to have Gray-sama's card! He would have a perfect present and would get married to Juvia!" She started to cry again.
"So, you don't have one already? You should hurry!" Erza commented.
"Maybe we can help you to get one!" Wendy suggested
"Yes! Remember when you did that scarf for Gray? Why don't you make something yourself this time too?" Erza suggested too, a little too excited for Juvia.
"Ohh make less drama! I think you need some booze to calm down!" The worst person that could appear said: Cana.
Of course, Juvia said no, so Cana left a bit angry that she refused her invitation. It would not have helped with the fact that she still didn't have a present for Lucy.
"That's all love rival's fault!" Juvia reinforced her point.
"Why don't we help you make a cake?" The other girls suggested
"You would help Juvia with her present?!" She asked. Her friends' offering did boost her mood. Erza and Wendy confirmed that they would help.
So, the girls left Erza's room to start baking the cake.
"I'm tired of making always the same cake! It would be great to have another cake recipes book!" Erza said while putting the recipe on the table.
But they only had that one, so the girls put her hands at work and started to make a delicious strawberry cake for Juvia's secret friend. And depicting the water mage bad cooking abilities, in the end, the cake looked good.
Besides, while they cooked, the three girls talked to each other and Juvia realized that maybe she overreacted and maybe it hadn't been totally Lucy's fault, so she owed her friend an apology.
Concluding, the day end up well, with no problems for the water mage, and now, she had a present for Lucy that she would enjoy giving her as much as if it was for Gray.
