Chapter 22

The next day, their friends came to visit in the hospital. Some of the girls bought candy and little teddy bears from the gift shop on the last floor. Sirius led them to Bo's room. He was the first to enter. He wanted to make sure she wasn't sleeping or being examined. Fortunately, she was awake.

"Hey, darling. How was it at James' and Lily's?"

Sirius grinned and kissed her "It was awful because you weren't there. But I brought some things with me. Come on in!" He yelled at the door's direction and laughed at Bo's confused face. The door opened to reveal their friends, walking one by one into the room. They all hugged and kissed Bo.

"How are you feeling?" Alice asked Bo.

"Much better, thanks. And thanks for the lovely gifts!" Bo replied. They chatted with each other and laughed.

Sirius called out to the others "Oi, you lot!" They turned to look at Bo's bed, where he was sitting with her.

"We decided to name the baby Adam!" Their decision was accepted with cheers and calls for support.

After two weeks of frantic preparation, panic attacks and broken heels, James and Lily were a day away from their wedding. They finally moved into Godric's Hollow and finished renovating the house. They were thrilled to be in their own home. Their friends came to visit and see the house. James noticed that Sarah and Remus weren't feeling well. He knew that tonight was going to be a full moon. James, along with the other Marauders, stood by Remus and helped him through the rough patches. James gathered the boys in the living room while the girls sat in the kitchen. Remus was pale and weak. "I'm sorry about tonight, Prongs. I didn't plan on stealing your glory and ruining your bachelor party."

Frank, who wasn't a part of it, tried to cheer Remus up, but in vain.

James gave a small chuckle "You won't ruin it, Moony old pal. You'll make it even better. I wouldn't want to celebrate my last night as a bachelor with anyone else." The others grinned at him.

"What can I do to help?" Frank asked.

Sirius replied "I think you should stick with the girls. They have a 'furry little problem' there too."

"You mean Sarah, right?" The others were astonished. "How did you know?" Peter asked.

Frank shrugged "Alice." They laughed.

The girls knew it was Sarah's 'furry time of the month', as they called it and were worried. Sarah kept apologizing to Lily 'about ruining her day'.

Lily dismissed her and said "You're our friend! You shouldn't apologize. It's just a silly party."

"Alright, if you say so. And besides, we need to plan Bo's baby shower." Sarah said.

"What do you mean 'we'? You girls have done enough for me! I don't need a shower!" Bo opposed the idea.

Natalie insisted "You're getting one, and that's final!" Bo remained silent.

"You're not coming tonight." Genevieve said.

"You're not serious. Who are you to tell me what to do?" Bo retorted.

"Silence, missy. You can't because of the baby. It's too dangerous for you." Alice reprimanded. Bo's face softened; she knew they were right, she couldn't join them.

Despite Remus' and Sarah's situation, they still wanted to have fun. They went out and ate a fancy dinner in Hogsmeade. It was night when Sirius took Bo home. He cupped her face with his hands and said "Everything will be fine, just like always. I'll be back before you know it." They kissed and he disapparated to Godric's Hollow.

Bo sat down in the living room and sighed "Another night alone." She muttered to herself.

He apparated back. It was on his way back to James' house when he heard a howl. He changed into his animagi form and ran quickly to where he heard the sound. He spotted Remus and Sarah, already werewolves. He growled at them, who were turning to hurt the girls. Lily shot a spell at Remus, but it didn't hurt him. Sarah growled loudly at Natalie, who was trying to hex her. Sirius caught another canine's scent; he noticed Genevieve barking to James. Finally, Frank, along with the girls, cursed Sarah, causing her to crash on the ground and remain petrified. Remus, however, was harder to control. Genevieve and Sirius snarled and attacked Remus, James crashed his antlers into Remus' abdomen, causing him to howl in pain, and Peter bit him numerous times on his large feet. Frank and Alice were watching Sarah, and Lily and Natalie helped the animals. After what seemed like forever, Remus finally gave up and collapsed.

Bo wouldn't dare sleep without Sirius home. She paced back and forth in the house, deeply concerned. 'What's taking them so long? Are they alright?' Every once in a while, she opened the door to see if he was coming. It wasn't before long when she heard a pop.

"Sirius!" She ran as fast as she could to where she heard it. Sirius apparated, in his human form, to their backyard. He was bleeding severely. Bo gasped and immediately took him inside. She nursed him with a few spells and potions.

"You should be a healer." He said. She smiled appreciatively at him and resumed taking care of him.

"How was it? How's everyone?" Bo asked.

Sirius shook his head "Awful. They're nasty beasts, I tell you. Luckily, we also had Frank and the girls by our side."

Bo nodded and decided to change the subject "So, tomorrow's the wedding, huh?"

"Yeah, and I'm the best man! The healer said that you can't apparate anymore, right?" Bo nodded.

"I think we need to pull out my broom."

Bo raised her eyebrow "Your broom?" She suggested mischievously.

Sirius got the message and roared in laughter "Oh, that broom! Well, we could do something about that, too." Bo noticed a glint in his eye and ran up the stairs to their bedroom, with him following her.

The next morning was a tiring and yet exciting. It was James' and Lily' wedding day. Early in the morning, Natalie arrived at their house and woke up Lily.

"Come with me. I'm taking you to Alice's." Lily groaned a bit and looked at James, who was slightly snoring. She snickered at him and got up from bed. She got dressed, went to one of the closets in the house and pulled out the wedding dress "I took his invisibility cloak to hide it."

"Great idea, Lils!" Natalie praised her and they apparated to Alice's.

The girls spent their morning having breakfast and getting ready for the ceremony. They were tired from last night, but they managed. Sarah, was bruised a little, but planned to hide her cuts and bruises with makeup.

Bo was constantly complaining about her figure and weight "I feel heavy! I can't wait to have him and get it over with!" Bo moaned. Alice cooed "Bo, honey, you look fantastic." And she did, for a pregnant woman; she was in the beginning of the 8th month.

"Thanks, Ali, but you don't have to lie to make me feel better." Alice shook her head 'How could I forget the attitude?'

Lily came out from the bathroom, wearing her dress; a floor length, strapless white dress. "Wow!" Natalie was in awe.

"You look magical, Lily love." Genevieve gushed. Alice took pictures of them together: having fun, applying makeup, laughing at silly jokes.

Bo wore a violet ankle length dress, and she struggled putting on her shoes "I hate being pregnant!" Sarah groaned and helped Bo put on her shoes.

The boys were recovering from last night. Remus, Sirius, Peter and Frank apparated at Gordic's Hollow and got ready for James' wedding.

All ready go to, James asked Sirius "Where's the ring?" Sirius patted his left pocket.

James nodded "Alright. Are we ready to go?"

The boys nodded and murmured a "yeah". He couldn't believe it; he was marrying the girl of his dreams, the girl he constantly wooed and loved at school.

He let out a long sigh "Today's the day, gentlemen. Who would've thought that she would be my wife?" He grinned a silly grin.

Remus shook his head "I'm still coping with the fact she agreed to date you."

Sirius roared with laughter, along with Frank and Peter.

The girls arrived first to the chapel. They entered a small room and there they did their finishing touches of makeup and hair. "Mrs. Lily Potter. Who would've thought?" Genevieve grinned.

The others, expect Lily, laughed. "'Oh, that lousy Potter! He's such an arrogant idiot!'" Sarah gave an exact impression of Lily. The girls laughed hard. Lily joined in the laughter "That's not me! You're doing it wrong."

Alice wanted to congratulate Lily. "I wish you and James the best of luck."

"All the love in the world!" Sarah added. They shared hugs before the ceremony.

The guys stood by James at the altar. Peter never saw him so nervous "Are you okay, Prongs?" He asked him quietly. James didn't remove his eyes from the other edge of the isle and nodded swiftly to him. He waited impatiently for her to arrive. 'James, be cool. This is the day you've been waiting for. She's obviously the one for you, so why the hell are you nervous?!' His thoughts were cut off by the wedding march booming.Bo was the first to appear, being the maid of honor. She grinned at James as she walked closer to him. Genevieve came after her and winked at him. Sarah, Natalie and Alice joined the others. And then came Lily with her father. Lily and James shared goofy grins and gazes. Richard let her go when they arrived to James.

He mouthed to her "You look stunning." She blushed and thanked him.

The ceremony was quicker than they thought. The guests were all over the place: dancing, eating, and drinking. Genevieve was dancing with Frank and Alice when she spotted Amos talking to a woman at the bar. She stopped dancing for a moment, but continued dancing. Alice gave her a look. She knew Genevieve was troubled. When the song was over, Genevieve marched over to him and interrogated him. "Why were you talking to her?"

She had her hands on her hips and pursed her lips in anger. Amos stuttered "I- uh..I was asking her…"

"You were trying to pick her up, right? Like I'm not enough for you?" She raised her voice, causing a few people to stare.

"You're very good for…too good-"

"Damn right I'm too good. You can't answer a simple question, you stupid ass. I want you out of my house." Genevieve ran to the bathroom, leaving Amos stunned. Lily, who danced with her husband, followed her. Sirius and Bo looked at each other. As if he knew what she was going to say, Sirius left her to talk to Amos.

Natalie was drunk and Remus was at her side, worried. "Are you sure you're alright?" He asked her.

"Remmy-poo, I'm fine! I have to go see what happened to Gen." She slurred.

"Let's go together, shall we?" He helped her up from her chair.

She giggled and said rather loudly "But you can't go into the ladies' room!"

When Natalie and Remus came across Sarah and Daniel, Natalie yelled "What a night we had last night, with fur and howls! Crazy!" Remus tried to silence her, but unfortunately, Daniel heard her and wanted answers from Sarah. She wasn't ready to tell him yet about her condition, but thanks to Natalie, she had to now. She took him away from the party, nearby the entrance door.

She fastened her shawl around her shoulders and said quietly "Every full moon, I turn into a werewolf. I was bitten when I was little." Daniel didn't know how to take it. "And last night was a full moon." Sarah nodded. "I didn't tell you at this stage because I didn't want to scare you away. I like you and the last thing I want is for you to be afraid of me." She explained.

Daniel nodded "I understand." There was a pregnant pause; He never saw this coming. "I like you, too. I'm glad you finally told me. It wasn't your fault; you had to live with it and bare it. I want you to know that I'm not going anywhere." Daniel said. Sarah grinned and kissed him.

The party continued with a crazy dancing contest, with Sirius being the winner. Some of the gang were drunk, along with Natalie. Grace Potter was advising Bo about the baby: feeding, sleeping issues, etc. Amos left after Sirius almost hurt him physically and was stopped by Frank.

"What a crazy party, Ladies and Gentlemen! We want to thank you all for coming and to say that we love you all. Cheers!" James said. The guests, along with James and Lily, clinked their glasses. After a few hours, the newlyweds left for their honeymoon on James' broom. It wasn't long before Sirius and Bo joined them in the air with Sirius's broom.
